Days passed since the whole incident, Ikuraha was prisoned in CEDEF, being watched by Kotoya. The rest of the Guardians were under the care of Kisume in CEDEF, trained to be agents. Kyokai was finally out of the hospital and back to school, midterms were near as well.
As Kyokai walked between Kyoya and Ryohei to school while reading a book, she didn't notice the electrical line above her "Hayashi !" They looked up to see Furutani walking toward them "hey I want to discuss something with you, shall we walk to school together ?" He smiled "I guess.." Kyokai mumbled.
"See you" she told Kyoya and Ryohei and walked ahead with Furutani "..." Kyoya and Ryohei stared at them with a pissed face "did he just..." Ryohei glared "he did" Kyoya growled "let's go" they ran ahead really fast, dust trailing behind them "so I heard that you were the smartest one in school" Furutani said "I'm not sure if I'm the first" Kyokai said "I was thinking maybe you could help me with studying" he scratched his cheek "I don't know.." She held her chin.
"How about a yes ?" He smiled "no !" Kyoya and Ryohei suddenly linked arms with Kyokai and ran ahead "Oi !" Kyokai struggled as they dragged her away, Furutani blinked a couple of times "there's no way he's going to steal my girl" Kyoya and Ryohei thought as they ran faster "let go !!" Kyokai yelled.
After school, third year students were playing a game in Kyoya's class, even the students who weren't in his class to begin with "who's the king ?" They pulled the cards, Kyoya glanced at Furutani from the corner of his eyes "Yosh ! I'm the king !" One guy said "who's the queen !?" He said excited "oh ! It's me !" A girl said. They laughed and cheered as the two gave each other a small kiss.
Kyoya popped a vein at their loud noise. He got up and bumped the table with his leg, making the cards scatter everywhere "keep it down, or I'll bite you all to death" Kyoya glared "oh come on, Hibari. We're just playing" one guy said "all I want is peace and quiet, also bringing cards to school is prohibited" Kyoya said "alright, then let's make a bet" Furutani smirked "hn ?" Kyoya narrowed his eyes at him "if you get a king card, we'll stop playing cards" Furutani said "deal ?" He offered his hand for a shake.
Kyoya stared at his hand then slapped it away "fine" he said. They watched as the students shuffled the cards then placed some on the table according to their number. Kyokai then opened the door and peeked in "ah Kyoya" she walked toward them "are you ready to go ?" She asked him "not yet" he told her "what are you doing ?" She stared at the cards on the table "oh Kyokai ! Want to play ?" Furutani said "don't call her by her first name" Kyoya glared at him.
"I don't really play cards" Kyokai said "that's because she's a loser" one girl said and they snickered, Kyoya pulled out his tonfa but Kyokai grabbed his wrist "it's not worth your anger" she told him "how come your able to hold your temper ?" He glared "hm" she shrugged "okay ! You should pick a card first, Hibari !" Furutani smirked "unless you want to quit" he said.
"Kyoya, do you even know how to play ?" Kyokai said, Kyoya only ignored her and stared at the cards with his hands in his pockets. He picked an upside downed card and stared at it as the rest picked a card after him "so ?" They looked at Kyoya, who only stared at his card disappointed "I got king" he showed them his card "w-what !? How !?" They stared at him shocked "I win, let's go" Kyoya tossed the card to them.
"Wait ! You didn't finish the game !" A girl said "that's right, we don't know who's the queen" Furutani said "I don't have an interest with kissing any of you" Kyoya glared at them. Kyokai blinked as she saw an upside down card on the floor. She picked it up and stared at it "is this what your looking for ?" She showed them the queen card "..." They stared at her "what ? I just picked it up" she mumbled.
Her eyes widen when Kyoya took the card from her to cover their lips as it got connected. Their eyes widen as Kyoya and Kyokai did nothing but stare at each other's eyes "there, I still win" Kyoya pulled back and tossed the card to them, he went to pick up his school bag "what ?" He asked Kyokai "w-why did you kiss me ?" She blushed "because I want to" he patted her head and walked ahead.
She blushed and covered her mouth with her fist "Stupid Inu, don't stand there like an idiot and let's go home" he said "don't call me that, Baka !" She glared at him, he walked back to her and pinched her nose "come on" he grabbed her hand and dragged her with him.
"Oi Hibaka !" She almost tripped as he dragged her out of the building "what's wrong with you !? I didn't do that when you were around that girl in your class !" She tried to pull her hand free from his grip. He ignored her as she glared at his back "Oi Kyoya !" She said "Tch" he gritted his teeth. She gasped when he turned and picked her up from the waist so they were nose to nose "hey ! Put me down !" Her legs started kicking.
"Listen to me.." He glared "I have no interest in anyone but a person called Hayashi Kyokai" he said "and I am not willing to just give her to any filthy herbivore" he said "you are my property and mine only, understand ?" He glared, she blushed and looked away "okay fine, j-just put me down" she mumbled. Her eyes widen when he kissed her cheek, then placed her down on her feet.
She watched him walk ahead without her. She ran to link his arm with hers while looking down in embarrassment "idiot" he ruffled her hair "hm" she glared while blushing "y-your mine" she mumbled. He pulled his arm back to put it around her shoulders "I know" he said.
As he entered the bedroom when they got home, his face turned pissed as he saw her reading her book while sitting on the bed "aren't you going to stop reading ?" He glared "no" she said "can we make out ?" He said "no" she said "can we sleep then ?" He asked "no" she said, he realized that she wasn't paying attention to him.
He pulled up the end of the covers and crawled under it. He separate her legs under the covers to lay down on top of her as he peeked his head out of the covers. He lift himself up and kissed her cheek. She looked at him and went back to her book, but rested his head on her chest and stroked his hair. He wrapped his arm around her waist and shifted a little to get more comfortable "am I heavy ?" He asked "a little, but stay" she rested her cheek on his head.
He stared at her as she was focused on her book, he glared and poked her cheek, she just pushed his hand "hmm !!!" He muffled a groan between her breasts, she flinched when he bit her neck "what is it ?" She glared at him "I want attention" he mumbled against her breast while staring at her.
She stared at him for a moment and sighed heavily. She put the bookmark where she stopped then placed the book on the counter "there, I'm all yours" she said "really ?" He said, she nodded "alright" he smirked and got under the covers "what are yo--ah !" She gasped when he lift up her shirt to kiss her stomach "w-wait !" She glared as he folded her breasts "what ?" He lift himself up, the covers were on his head.
"That what you wanted to do once you get my attention ?" She glared "no, but since you told me that your all mine.." He smirked "wah !" she gasped as he pulled her under the covers by her legs "Kyoya !" She yelled as they started fighting under the covers.
They paused when they heard phone vibration, they peeked their heads out of the covers to the counter as they were already half naked. She rolled on her stomach and grabbed her phone "what ?" She answered sighing "what is it, Ryohei ?" She face palmed, that made Kyoya irritated. She winced when he pressed his chest against her back and nibbled her ear.
"O-Oi Kyoya, hold on a second" she glared at him while blushing "give me that" he snatched the phone from her "hey !" She said as he hanged up and tossed it on the counter "don't talk to him while we're making out" he growled against her neck "fine, just let me text him an apology" she grabbed her phone "do as you like" he mattered "I'm still kissing you" he glared "I know" she closed her phone and placed it on the counter "yes" he got them both under the covers.

Everyone watched in awe at the game as second year students were playing soccer. The first year student girls cheered as Kyokai scored another goal "so hot" Kyokai tugged on the collar of her jacket "what's so amazing about her ?" Aimi huffed while standing in the side "she's a girl you know !" She told the first years "we know ! That's what makes her amazing" one girl said and the others agreed.
"So what if she knows sports ? She's just a n--Offu !" Aimi got cut off as the soccer ball hit her face "oh ? Gomen" Kyokai walked toward them and pulled the ball toward her by her foot "watch where you kick, Nerd Lover ! You broke my nose !" Aimi yelled while holding her bloody nose "so ?" Kyokai glared "w-what's with that look ?" Aimi backed away "if your here to spit words about me, buzz off before I break more than your nose" Kyokai glared, Aimi huffed and walked away.
"Yo" Kotoya rested his arm on Kyokai's shoulders "hasn't she giving up yet ?" He glanced at Aimi "beats me" Kyokai wiped her sweat "got any hair tie ?" She asked "what happened to yours ?" He raised a brow "it got cut off" she sighed "Oi Hayashi !" They both looked behind them, the classmate realized his mistake and pointed at Kyokai "oh" Kyokai kicked the ball toward him.
"Maybe I should cut it" she sighed and walked toward her bag "don't !!" He hugged her from behind "don't cut your hair style as mine ! Then they will mistake you as me for sure" he said "they already are" she frowned "what I meant was, you need to let your hair get long a bit at least" he said "hm, fine" she huffed "hey girls, does any of you have a hair tie for my-" Kotoya paused asking when he spotted the girls legs since they were wearing their gym uniforms "your on your own ! Bye !" He tapped Kyokai's shoulder and ran off.
"Hayashi-senpai !" Kyokai flinched and looked at her under-classmates "please accept this !" They pulled out colorful hair ties "thank you, but I can't accept it if your using it" Kyokai waved her hand and walked off "ehh~ ?" They watched her while blushing "she talked ? I heard that she's normally quiet" they whispered "Hayashi-chan !" Tsubaki walked toward Kyokai "here, I always bring extra hair ties with me" she pulled out a black hair tie.
"Ah thanks" Kyokai took from her, Tsubaki smiled "sorry, but mind holding this for me until I finish the game ?" Kyokai asked as she took off her jacket "e-eh !?" Tsubaki took the jacket from her "woaw !" Ryohei stood in front of her "Kyokai ! Wear that Extreme jacket right now !" He pointed "what's up with you ? It's hot" Kyokai held the tie between her teeth to pull up her hair "no it's not !" He said "well it's becoming warm since I was running" she said "you'll get sick !" He said.
He blushed as she finished tying her hair "please.." She smirked "I never get sick" she patted his shoulder and jogged passed him "hwa~" Tsubaki held her red cheeks "what's up with you !? You already know she's not a guy !" Ryohei said "I know, but she's so cool~" Tsubaki smiled, Ryohei sweat dropped.
After the game, Kyokai wore her jacket and went to gather her stuff, where Ryohei and Tsubaki were waiting for her "you pretty amazing, Hayashi-chan !" Tsubaki said "hey Kai, have you changed anything lately ?" Ryohei asked "no, why you ask ?" Kyokai said "well I noticed almost the whole school are falling for you" Ryohei said with a hint of annoyance in his tone "what do you mean ?" Kyokai frowned as she removed the hair tie "thank you again" she gave it back to Tsubaki.
"A couple of guys came and asked me if we were dating.." He said "when I told them no they asked me if they got a change with you" he glared "so ? I already have a boyfriend, if they don't know that, then it's their fault" she sighed as she rubbed her neck "how many guys came and confess to you today ?" He said "I don't know, 5 or more, or less" she shrugged "it's 7" Tsubaki said "oh really ?" Kyokai looked at her shocked.
"Well I haven't been paying attention, I've been reading this new book" she pulled out a book from her bag "K-K-Kyokai ! Your interested in that !!?" Ryohei blushed red as he pointed, Tsubaki gasped while blushing "hey guys, what-- is Hayashi-san reading !?" Souji pointed at what Kyokai was holding "huh ? That's not mine" Kyokai frowned "what is this anyway ?" She frowned "it's manga !" Souji said "so this is what manga is ?" Kyokai frowned and opened the small comic, what she thought "wait ! Don't read this !" Tsubaki said "..." Kyokai blinked in confusion.
"Why are those two men kissing ?" Kyokai said, they nervously sweated as she continued flipped through the pages of black and white "is this manga what most of the girls in school interested about ?" She mattered "both men confess their feelings toward each other, they went out on a date, then.." She kept flipping through the pages, then paused.
Ryohei and Souji stayed silent at where she stopped, Tsubaki covered her face in embarrassment, Kyokai clenched on the manga while shuddering in rage "why are those two men, making out in bed ?" Her eye twitched "t-that's called Yaoi" Souji faced palmed "is this what girls interest in ?" She looked at Tsubaki "wait, this isn't your bag" Ryohei glanced at the opened bag "it's my bag !" They looked shocked at Tsubaki "but that manga wasn't mine ! I swear !" She blushed.
"I-I lost in a bet with my friends so I was forced to read it !" She covered her blushing face "a-ah, Gomen" Kyokai mattered. She flinched when she felt an arm wrap around her shoulders from behind "Yo" Kyoya smirked "what are you reading ?" He glanced over her shoulder, they all flinched, including him, when Kyokai slammed the manga close "nothing" she faced him and hid the manga behind her back.
He raised a brow "unless if you want to see what I'm reading" she tilted her head "H-Hayashi-chan !" Tsubaki blushed "if your interested in murders and solving cases, I'll show you" Kyokai said "no, lost interest" Kyoya said right away, Tsubaki sighed in relief "thank you, Hayashi-chan" she whispered and took the manga from her.
"What I'm trying to show you, is this book" Kyokai pulled out a book from her bag "it's the novel I kept reading since middle school, it's so well written that I want to meet the author in person" she hugged the book "is that what you kept reading every time I sneak bite you ?" Kyoya said "you sneak what ?" She glared at him "nothing" he looked away.
"Hey guys ! I have some people for you to meet" Kotoya walked toward them "eh ?" They looked up "ha !" Kyoya and Ryohei glared "Toya ! What the hell are they doing here !?" Ryohei pointed at Ikuhara Guardians "you won't get Kyokai, this time" Kyoya pushed Kyokai behind him "wow hey !" Kotoya waved in front of him "they're safe, they're a part of CEDEF now" he explained "CEDEF ?" Souji said "a-ah ! It's a company that Kyoya's brother owns !" Kotoya nervously laughed.
"Your bad at lying" Kenji said "I'm okay with those three" Ryohei mattered "but not with him !!" He pointed at Ren "oh ? You hate me ?" Ren blinked "and I was actually excited to meet Toya's sister" he smiled "eh ?" Kyoya and Ryohei blinked "Oi, there is something different about him" Ryohei whispered to him "I believe we both have a lot in common" Ren smiled at Kyokai "like how we both got controlled by our other sids once"
Kyokai's eyes widen as he held her hand "pleasure to finally meet you, my Snow Empress" he smiled and kissed her hand "Gah !" Kyoya and Ryohei got gloomy in the back "Snow Empress ?" Kyokai thought, she flinched Kyoya slapped Ren's hand away "hey ! What makes you flirt with my sister in front of me !?" Kotoya pulled the back of Ren's collar "I was just giving her a welcome greeting" he smiled then glanced at Kyokai "and apology"
"I think he's interested in you" Tsubaki whispered to Kyokai "no ! He's not" they looked at Kyoya and Ryohei "listen here herbivore, I don't care what you are, or why your here.." Kyoya pointed at Ren "but touch my Kyokai and I'll bite you to death" he glared "d-don't call me like that, i-idiot" Kyokai slightly blushed, they four Guardians blinked "Kawaii" they said "what did you call Kyokai !?" Ryohei yelled "I'm pissed" Kyoya glared.
"A-Ah ! Guys !" Tsubaki said "why isn't Kotoya mad about this ?" Souji looked at Kotoya and found him gone "hm ? Eh !?" His eyes widen when he saw Kotoya hugging Kyokai to death "Kai-chan is so cute when she's embarrassed ! Aniki loves you so much !" He rubbed his cheek against hers, he ended up having a double bump on the head by Kyoya and Ryohei.
Mako glanced behind Kenji and his eyes landed on the book that Kyokai was holding "ah" he pointed "your reading that book ?" He asked "oh this ? Yes, you read it too ?" Kyokai asked "well.." He scratched his pink cheek "sorry about him, he's just shy" Aido smiled "what he meant, Mako just can't act normally around girls" Kenji explained "oh I see" Kyokai said "well I really like the author of this book" Mako looked at her surprised.
"The way he writes, his style, and the tale itself" Kyokai looked at the cover of the book "I believe Mr. U-san is inspirational" she ran her fingers against the name of the author "I wonder what his actual name is, of course it's a last name but.." She mumbled "Utsugi" she looked at Mako "really ? How did you know ?" She asked "that's my name" he mumbled "I-I'm the author of that book" he said "eh ?" Kyokai's eyes widen.
"H-Hey something is happening to Hayashi-san !" Souji pointed, making Kyoya and Ryohei stop yelling at Ren and Kotoya "ah !" Their eyes widen in shock. There was this bright spark, in Kyokai's eyes, the expression that Kyoya and Ryohei haven't seen in forever. Ryohei clenched his fists as he remembered she had that expression in her face when she saw Kyoya in the boxing tournament for the first time.
Ryohei glanced at Kyoya to see him also in shock "is that what I think it is in Kyokai's eyes ?" Kotoya stood there shocked "it is" Souji said "Hayashi-chan is in love !" Tsubaki covered her mouth and gasped. Kyoya clenched hard on his tonfa at what he was seeing in front of him.
