In the hallway.
I was standing at my locker. I heard someone shouting Jackson's name.
It was Lydia. They were talking about the text he sent her. He had broken up with her.
Wait...What!!.
Then he just let her standing her there.
He walked over to me but i ignored him.
Jackson "hi Corina, i gotta ask you something. would you like to go with me to the school dance?"
Nothing.
Jackson asked worried "What's wrong?"
I asked coldly " Do you care about me?"
Jackson nodded "of course i do, why are you asking?"
Me "Did you have to provoke him at lunch?"
Jackson shook his head, confused " I don't know what you are talking about"
His heart skipped a beat.
Me "I heard everything, Jackson"
Jackson froze "That's impossible"
I raised an eyebrow "Are you sure?"
Jackson "What are you?"
Me "Why? hm? so that you could do the same thing to me you do to Scott?"
Jackson shook his head "I would never hurt you"
Me "Well, I don't trust you"
Jackson "You can trust me"
I shook my head "i don't think so"
Jackson "I need that what he is"
Me "Even if you'll lose everything?"
Jackson "I need it, Corina"
Me "Scott didn't have a choice, okay? everything has it's price."
Jackson "And what price are you paying?"
I shook my head "You wouldn't believe me even if i told you. and the answer is no, i will not go with you to the dance"
Jackson "Cor-"
Me "Could you do me a favor? stop hitting on Allison. You are not her type."
Jackson "But i'm your type"
I slapped him "screw you"
Then i left.
At the Home.
I was on my way to my room when i heard a noise coming from Allison's room.
Shouldn't she be jogging?.
I speeded into her room and pinned the guy to the floor.
It was Scott.
i asked irritated "What are you doing here? and how do you get in?"
Scott "I'm looking for the necklace and i came trough the window. are you gonna help me or...?"
I nodded "i'm helping you"
We searched for the damn thing but didn't find it.
He walked to her desk and took a piece of paper off it. It was the invoice of the bowling alley and at the back stood First Date With Scott!
I smiled"How cute"
In the book was the necklace. He took it.
Me "i think we are done here"
Scott nodded "yep. i'll go now"
I nodded and he jumped out of the window but got caught by dad.
Then I heard the front door open.
Dad called out "Corina!"
I walked downstairs.
Dad to Scott "She should be here in a few minutes. She sometimes goes running in the woods after school"
Scott "I should just go. I have a game tonight and I-"
Dad "Want something to drink?"
Me "hi guys"
Dad and Scott nodded "Hi"
Dad gave us a beer.
Me "But mom said-"
Dad gave me a wink "mom doesn't have to know"
I smirked "You are the best"
Scott "If this is a test then...your daughter already dumped me"
Dad shook his head "That's not a test. I'm sorry. high school romances burn bright, end fast. Go ahead"
I took a sip of my beer.
Scott shook his head "I'm good, thanks"
Dad "How do you know Derek Hale? "
i nearly choked on my beer.
Scott "who?"
We walked to the living room.
Dad "Allison said that she saw both of you talking to him, you talked to a murder"
Scott shrugged " everybody knows him"
Dad "yeah but you are the only ones who are talking to him"
Me "Derek and i are good friends, actually"
Dad shot me a look "so do you wanna tell your dad that you are good friends with a murder?!"
I shrugged "He is innocent"
Scott asked confused "why are you talking to us like we did something wrong?"
Dad raised an eyebrow "i don't know, have you?"
Scott and i looked at each other.
Dad sighed and sat down next to us on the couch "you don't have to be afraid of me but you have to get that i care about my daughters' safety, right?"
Scott "would you believe me if i say that i think about it too? I love Allison. Corina is my best friend and i love her for being that. That's all that i think about."
Then he stood up "when we were at school, the other night, every choice that i made, every single thing i made was to make sure that they were safe. That Allison was safe was all that mattered for me that night and it matters for me every single day"
I smiled.
I could hear Allison's heartbeat. She was listening to us.
Dad looked at him for a second before standing up "you should go. i don't want you to be late for your game"
I stood up and hugged Scott.
Then he left.
Dad looked at me You have no idea to what Derek is capable of"
Me "I know exactly what he is capable of, Dad. I know everything. I know about the Hales and about the Mikaelsons. You, mom and Kate have been lying to us this whole time"
Then i walked upstairs to my room.
My phone buzzed and i looked at it.
From : Derek
Need you at the BHCH. now
At the Care home. Night.Parking lot.
I walked to the Jeep.
Stiles and Derek were sitting in there. I got in the back.
They were talking to Scott on the phone.
I checked my phone and got a text from Jackson.
From: Jackson
Are you coming tonight?
To: Jackson
nope.
He read it but didn't answer.
Me "why am i here?"
Derek "You are helping us"
Then he slammed Stiles' head against the steering wheel and i laughed.
Stiles grimaced in pain "why?"
Derek "You know for what that was"
Me "what did he do now?"
Derek "he introduced me to his friend Danny as his cousin Miguel from Mexico"
I nearly choked on my laugh.
Derek growled "calm down. You and Stiles will go inside"
I nodded and got out.
Stiles shook his head "i'm not going"
Derek "go"
Stiles "no"
Derek shouted "GO!"
Stiles jumped out of the car and we went in.
In the building.
Stiles "could you use your powers to find his room?"
Me " I was here a few days ago "
I could smell another wolf.
Me "Stiles, his room is around the corner the second door"
Stiles asked confused "aren't you coming?"
Me "i'll be right behind you"
He nodded and ran to the room.
I followed the scent and saw Peter standing there with an evil smirk.
His half face was still burned.
Peter smirked "Hello, love"
My fangs came out and i attacked him but he grabbed me by my throat and lifted me off the ground.
i gasped out "Yo-You ...It's you"
His eyes flashed red.
Then he walked, still with his hand by my throat, to Stiles, who was talking to Derek on the phone.
Peter "You must be Stiles"
Stiles froze when he saw us.
I cracked out "Run"
Then his nurse, Jennifer, came and blocked Stiles' way but then Derek came and knocked her out.
Peter "That's not nice, she's my nurse"
I couldn't breath.
Derek "she's a psychotic bitch who helped you kill people. Stiles, out of my way. Let her go. Now!"
Stiles "oh damn!"
He backed off.
Peter "she is an Argent and a Vampire"
Derek "She is close with the Mikaelsons"
Peter threw me against the next wall.
I tried to breath again.
Peter walked to Derek "You think i killed Laura on purpose? One of my family?"
I could see that Derek shifted, he growled and tried to punch Peter but Peter punched him against the wall and Derek fell to the ground.
Peter looked at me "i can't kill you because you are close to the Mikaelsons but that doesn't mean that I can't hurt you"
He came to me but I speeded to Derek and tried to help him up.
Peter grabbed Derek and threw him against the desk window.
The he broke my neck.
