Next Day. Drive to school.
Allison and i sat in the back of the car and my aunt and dad in the front. Allison had told me why she had broken up with Scott and i kinda felt guilty because i know what's wrong with him and Allison doesn't.
Dad pulled over at school.
I tried to get out but dad locked the damn door.
Me "Are you gonna let us out or..."
Allison sighed"Dad..When you think you have to drive us to school..."
Me "...then you should at least let us out of the car"
He looked at the police man in front of us and then at a broken window.
Dad "Kate, what is your opinion on home school?"
I groaned annoyed "are you kidding me ?"
Kate chuckled "hmmm...you know i'm more the learning by doing kind of girl"
Allison" and what is your opinion on overprotective dads, who keep ruining their daughters' life?"
I nodded "i like to know that too"
Kate smiled at us, leaned to dad and unlocked the doors.
Allison smiled"thank you"
Kate smiled back "anytime"
We got out and walked in.

The bell rang and Lydia, my twin and i walked out of the class room.
Allison "It's weird. Everybody keeps talking about the other night and nobody knows that it was us"
Me "be happy about it"
Allison "Do you think i made the wrong decision?"
Lydia eyed her "about that jacket with that dress? absolutely"
Allison rolled her eyes"you know what i mean"
Lydia "Hello? Scott locked us in a class room and left us for death"
I snapped "I was there with Scott, Lydia, we tried to save you even if we nearly died. Allison, do you think you'll pass the test?"
Allison shrugged "i don't know"
At the classroom.
I sat behind Allison when i saw Scott come in.
I gave him a weak smile.
He walked over to her "Allison"
Mr. Harris who handed out the tests said "Mr. McCall, please take a seat"
He took the seat in front of Stiles and next to me.
Mr. Harris " You have 45 minutes to complete the test. 25% of your grade can be saved right now simply through you write your name on the cover of the blue book. However, as happens every year, does anyone of you failed to write the name on the cover, and that would make me question my decision to become teacher. So lets get to the disappointment. begin"
He started the timer and i began to answer the test. I noticed Scott's heartrate picking up.
I looked over to him, whispering " Scott, calm down"
But he only freaked out, took his bag and left the room.
We all looked after him.
Mr. Harris "Mr.McCall!"
Stiles followed him behind.
Mr. Harris yelled "Mr. Stilinski!"
Then everyone concentrated on their test.
At Lunch.
I was on my way to the cafeteria but when i saw Scott sitting against a wall i sat down next to him.
Me "Hey. are you okay?"
Scott shook his head " no. I can't stop thinking about her."
I smiled softly "of course you can't, you love her."
Scott breathed out "It hurts"
Me " heartaches suck"
Scott looked at me "i'm sorry"
I raised an eyebrow confused "for what?"
Scott "about everything. You have to lie to your own twin about me being a.. you know"
Me "even if you are one. you are good for her...... Tonight is full moon, though. what are you planning on doing ?"
Scott nodded "Stiles'll lock me up"
I nodded " hope it works"
Scott "can i ask you something?"
I nodded.
Scott "please, don't be mad or something but i heard your fight with Jackson last ight. Is there something going on with you and him?"
I let out a deep breath "i don't know what it is, Scott, honestly. but he's with Lydia. and one day is flirting with Allison and the next day he's flirting with me so..."
Scott growled"You are right about the flirting."
I gave him a confused look.
Scott "listen "
I listen and could hear Allison and Jackson talking. I couldn't believe it.
Jackson was flirting with Allison. They talked about Scott. Jackson kept talking about Scott like he was a bad guy and that he didn't deserve Allison.
Scott slammed his head against the wall till it cracked.
At the lacrosse field.
I sat down next to Lydia on the bleachers watching the boys practice.
i couldn't believe what Jackson said to my sister but now i can't believe that Lydia and Scott made out. I could smell him all over her and i bet i would catch her scent on him too.
Everything was fine and funny then Coach called Stiles "Belinski" instead of Stilinski.
But then Scott knocked down Danny.
Lydia and i ran over to him.
He had a bloody nose and i walked over to Scott.
I shouted "Are you out of your mind?"
Stiles "dude, what the hell were you doing?"
Scott asked irritated " What?! he came at me"
Stiles "yeah, but everybody likes Danny, now is everybody's gonna hate you"
Scott shrugged "I don't care"
Me "oh my god"
I realized what was going on with that boy.
Scott walked back to Danny.
Stiles "what?"
Me "Scott is being a bitch because of the full moon. Even if it isn't night, it has an enorm effect on him. He doesn't know what he is doing"
Stiles joked "That's great"
We walked to the others.
Jackson looked at Lydia with an raised an eyebrow " Your lipstick"
Lydia checked her lipstick in her little mirror.
Stiles turned to Scott.
Me "Remember, he doesn't know what he is doing"
Stiles snapped "That not an excuse"
My house.
I went up the stairs to my room but i stopped when i heard Allison crying/talking to aunt Kate. She was so heartbroken and i couldn't tell her the truth to make her feel better.
It wasn't on me to tell her.
I leaned against her door frame with tears in my eyes.
Hours later. At sports center. Night.
Allison and i walked through the center looking at bows and arrows. They were all beautiful till i saw Jackson in the corner watching me. i ignored him.
He walked over to me "i'm sorry"
Nothing.
Jackson "I'm Sorry, okay?. I didn't mean to bring you in danger but i had to do it"
Nothing.
Jackson "i had to know if it was true."
Nothing.
Jackson "i feel the attraction, too"
Nothing
Jackson sighed "please talk to me, Cori"
I gave up.
I raised an eyebrow confused "If what was true?"
Jackson breathed out relieved "finally. "
Me "if what was true?"
Jackson "i saw your face when you ran out the day i tried to kiss you"
O fuck!
Me "you calling me ugly?"
Jackson shook his head, shocked "What? of course not. you know damn well what i mean"
Me "do you really feel it too?"
He nodded.
Me "You are sorry?"
He nodded.
Me "Then why can i not believe that?"
Jackson "i'm serious but it's on you. You don't have to trust me if you don't want to but i want you to forgive me."
I nodded "I forgive you, i just don't trust you"
He smiled and Allison walked to us.
Allison "Hi, Jackson"
Jackson "Hi, Allison"
My phone buzzed . I looked at it and saw that a message from Derek.
From : Derek
I'm outside. i need answers. you coming?
To : Derek
on my way.
Me "i gotta go"
Allison "Do you want the keys?"
I shook my head "No. a friend will pick me up. Bye"
Outside.
Derek was leaning against his car.
I smiled and hugged him "Hi"
Derek "Hi"
I let go of him "you need answers?"
Derek nodded "yeah..but not here"
We got in the car and he drove somewhere else.
Derek "yesterday. were you able to catch any scent?"
I shook my head "No. The only thing that i got from him were his claws across my back"
Derek "Sorry about that"
Me "If we find him. will you kill him and become the alpha?"
Derek nodded "He killed my sister. He deserves to die."
I nodded "You are right. Last night after you got thrown against the wall, i-i ..why couldn't i hear you heartbeat? "
Derek "I was close to death. I had to pretend to be dead to make him lose his focus on me"
I nodded "So he wouldn't kill you"
He nodded.
My phone buzzed. A message from Stiles.
From: Stiles
SOS. SCOTT BROKE OUT. He's on his way to Allison. Did i mention that he's out of control?
Me "oh my god"
Derek looked at the text.
we searched for Jackson's car. We got out and i could smell Scott.
I saw him on the top of another car.
He was gonna attack Jackson's car but Derek grabbed him and threw him into the woods.
I raised my voice at Scott " Calm down!"
Derek shifted and growled in Scott's wolf face.
It seems like Scott just snapped out of his trance.
At Scott's.
Derek and i brought Scott back to his place.
we took him to his room and sat him on his bed.
Derek and i turned around to leave but....
Scott "wait"
We turned around.
Scott "i can't do this...I can't be this and can be with Allison. i need you to tell me the truth. Is there a cure?"
Derek shrugged"For someone who is bitten? I heard of one. i don't know if it's true."
Scott "fine, what is it?"
Derek "you have to kill the one who bit you"
I raised an eyebrow at Derek. You kill an alpha become the alpha.
Scott raised an eyebrow "kill the alpha?"
Derek "Scott, if you help me find him, i will help you kill him"
In font of my house. In his car.
Derek turned the engine off.
Me "You lied, didn't you? about the cure."
Derek sighed " i had no choice"
I smiled "i saw you with Scott. You would make a great alpha"
He smiled.
