I looked in the mirror and sighed.

2 days earlier. Home. night.
Allison and i were sitting on the couch. Mom and dad were preparing for a lecture.

Mom yelled "What where you two thinking!?"

Allison cut me off "It was my Idea. I asked her if she would cover for me."
I looked at her surprised.
Dad asked me confused "why would you do that ?"
I took a deep breath "Because of the looks that were given us, okay?, every time we had moved and every time we had our Birthday .. we got looks and people started to question us stupid things. I just didn't want to put Allison through that again. I'm the first born and I just wanted to protect her"
Dad" That's very mature, Corinna"
Allison nodded "She's right. Corina begged Scott to take me with him. It was amazing. He understood why we were older and didn't ask much questions."
Mom and Dad looked at each other and then back to us.
Dad sighed "Cori, i understand why you did what you did. one month no pocket money"
I nodded "okay, dad"
Dad to Allison "and for you, Allison. NO SCOTT."
Allison tried to speak up but the door bell cut her off.
I nodded "i will get it"
Then i walked over to the door and opened it.
My jaw dropped and i hugged the guy.
Kol was looking at us with a little bit of jealousy.
Nik smiled " Hello, love"
Me "hi, Nik"
Nik smiled "Can i come in?"
I sighed, whispering "it's not on me, Nik"
Nik nodded.
Dad walked to us confused "Hello, who are you?"
Nik smiled " Hello, I'm Klaus Mikaelson"
every vampire in this house could hear that dad's heart skipped a beat.
dad fake smiled "Would you like to come in?"
Nik smiled "I would love to"
They walked into the house and to the living room.
Allison went to her room with mom.
dad "I'm gonna look for my wife."
Then he walked upstairs.
Nik "lovely house you have"
I nodded "thank you"
Nik smiled "and Happy birthday to you, love"
I smiled "thank you, Nik. not that i am complaining but why are in Beacon Hills?"
Nik smiled "Why I came here to see you, love"
Kol rolled his eyes annoyed.
I raised an eyebrow.
Nik "Kol mentioned that Derek Hale is still alive. I'm guessing, Derek is a friend of yours?"
I nodded.
Kol "Brother, would you like to visit him? I could drive you and then you could go back home"
Nik nodded "That would be nice of you. Corina, wanna join?"
I nodded "Yes but i'm gonna take my own car. I have a meeting someone later"
Kol raised an eyebrow "with who?"
I shrugged "a friend"
In the woods.
I parked on the street side and we walked to Derek's old house by foot.
Derek came our way "Its been a long time, Nik"
Nik smiled "Too long, friend"
Then they hugged each other brotherly.
Kol put a hand on my lower back "you have a second, love?"
I nodded and walked over to the bridge.
Kol "you gonna tell me why you've been punishing me with silence, darling?"
I raised an eyebrow "I smelled you and Derek at the boys locker room, Kol"
Kol "you eavesdropped?"
I nodded.
Kol sighed "we had no choice, darling-"
I scoffed "Bullshit, Kol. You had a choice. You had the choice to ask him, not to scare the crap out of him."
Kol "Would it matter if i say that i didn't enjoy it?"
Me "yes because you would be lying to me. Kol, we both know that you love nothing more than to torture people and all that stuff. And honestly, i don't care about because i enjoy it too. but i told you to not touch my friends"
Kol nodded "and i am sorry"
I scoffed, shaking my head "i have to go see my friend"
He nodded, looking down.
At Jackson's.
I rang the door bell.
Mr. Wittemore opened it and looked at me surprised.
I smiled "Hi, i'm Corina Argent, a friend of Jackson's. does he happen to be home?"
He nodded "of course he it. he's in his room. upstairs the second door on the left"
I smiled "thank you"
Then i walked upstairs and knocked on the door.
Jackson yelled "neither hungry nor thirsty! thanks, bye!"
I walked in confused "bye, too?"
Jackson turned around to me.
His face lit up a little "hey, what are you doing here?"
I shrugged "I heard what happened earlier and i just wanted to make sure you're okay"
Jackson nodded" I'm fine but there is something you should know about Kol, Corina"
i sighed "what do you mean?"
Jackson "he and Derek cornered me in the locker room earlier. They threatened me. Kol wanted to kill me, Corina, i could see it in his eyes. I know that it's your relationship but you should really overthink it again."
I looked down.
Jackson asked confused "why don't you look affected by it? "
I looked at him "because i know what happened. He told me everything"
Jackson raised an eyebrow.
Me "I love him, Jackson"
His face froze.
11 p.m. Home.
I walked inside and heard mom and dad fighting in the kitchen.

I hid behind the half closed kitchen door and eavesdropped.
Mom mocked "No pocket money? really, Chris?"
Dad"do want me to punish her for protecting her sister? Really, Victoria?."
Mom snapped "You were too soft"
Dad "Why? hm?. Allison was the one who decided to skip school not Corina, remember?. 'No Scott' was the perfect punishment for it."
Mom scoffed "Of course it is and i agree with you on that but why are you so soft with Corina?"
Dad "Because she is our daughter. why aren't you? you seem like you only care about Allison"
Mom "I love them botch, Chris. They are my daughters."
Dad snapped "then start treating them equally , Victoria"
I rolled my eyes annoyed and speeded to my room.
Kol and Nik were fighting in it. i eavesdropped.
Nik growled " We are leaving in 15 minutes"
Kol asked irritated "what?...no"
Nik threatened "You are doing it now or i swear to god i will do it myself"
Kol "you will not go anywhere near her, Nik. i'm doing it.. i just don't even know if she is on vervain or not"
Nik "She isn't"
Kol asked confused "How do you know?"
Nik called out"come in, love."
I walked into the room confused "what's going on here?"
Nik looked at Kol "if you're not doing it, i will"
Kol snapped "leave. now"
Nik walked out.
I asked confused "Do what, Kol"
Kol raised an eyebrow "Where were you?"
Me "at a friend's place"
Kol "you reek of Jackson"
Me "nothing happened. Had to make sure he was okay after you and Derek had fun scaring him. Now what's going on here?"
Kol stepped closer to me and put his hands on my cheeks.
I froze "What are you doing? you are scaring me"
Kol took a deep breath and compelled me " I'm so sorry, darling. forget every romantic feelings you had for me. i was only here as a friend and nothing more. We are just friends, and that's all we'll ever be. "
I blinked a few times and smiled at him "you should visit again sometime, Kol"
He smiled and hugged me "of course, darling"
I smiled and he walked out.

Night. in Corina's room
i was trying to not concentrate on the fact that my sister and her boyfriend are doing foreplay in her bedroom right now.
there was a knock on her room door and i could smell my aunt.
I speeded into Alli's room and saw her pushing Scott into her closet.
Then i sat down on the bed while she was fixing her bra on the way to the door.
She opened the door and Kate walked in.
Kate smiled " hey"
Alli and i "hey"
Kate "what's up?"
Me "Helping Allison with her homework"
Allison nodded "yeah but i'm e-maling too"
They went to her desk.
Kate wiggled her eyebrows "e-mailing your boyfriend?"
I smirked and looked at the dresser.

Kate "Oh, so that has nothing to do with that you are grounded and can't see Scott?"
Allison shook her head "I'm not gonna be one of these teenagers that looks at her father and says ' i hate you. I wish you were dead'"

Allison nodded " but... i hate him and i wish he was dead"
We all laughed.
Kate "need any help with homework?"
Me "Its a project in history and we wanna be alone, no offense "
Kate" come on. What kind of history project?"

Kate went to the IMac and i went to stand behind Allison so i could see the computer.
