You didn't know what to say or do anymore, you had tried your hardest to get Bakugo to safety and failed. Failed miserably twice in a row.

You wanted to try again, to push him outta the place and make things right. But when you looked at his face, his serious expression never faltering. You knew that Bakugo wasn't going to leave your side.

With a silent exhale you nodded in understanding, knowing that Bakugo was always the one to take charge in dangerous situations.

You had been through so much with him- from the hospital all the way to now. You knew from the start that you could trust him but now that you knew him even better, you couldn't help but trust him completely.

However, at the same time, you didn't want to see him in harm's way. He was your best friend now, and you couldn't bear the thought of anything happening to him. "We have to be careful. I don't want anything to happen to you," you said, your voice filled with concern.

He placed a hand on your shoulder, his expression softening ever so slightly. "Don't worry about me, Uso-tsuki. I can take care of myself."

Just then, there was a voice to be heard. "Well, well, it seems that you've found him."

You glanced over, already knowing the source of the voice. Aides.

You knew that you had made the worst decision in letting Bakugo stay. Your eyes darted back to him in worry, you wanted him to leave right away.

But Bakugo had other ideas, he stepped out in front of you, his fists clenched.

You could feel your heart pounding in your chest as Aides hand went to his side. You knew exactly what he was grabbing and it wasn't supposed to be happening. "Stop!" You shouted, pushing yourself in front of Bakugo. "Please, stop!"

Aides had already pulled his gun out, cocking it as he pointed it at the two of you. Bakugo would've been shot if it wasn't for you, he was a necessity to Aides but he didn't care if he was shot, you still didn't know why.

"Y/n, move over."

"You didn't say you were going to kill him."

Aides started to walk toward the two of you, making you even more nervous. And before you could even process what was happening, Aides lunged towards you, grabbing your arm tightly.

Instinctively, you pulled away, but before you could react, there was a deafening explosion that shook the entire store.

You covered your ears and closed your eyes, knowing exactly where the explosion came from.

When you opened your eyes, you saw Bakugo standing in front of you, his arms shielding you. His voice was muffled and your ears were ringing from the explosion, but you could tell that was a loud one, even louder than his usual explosions.

As you looked toward Aides, you saw him lying on the ground and holding his side, clearly hurt. But he had enough strength to grab his gun and point it towards Bakugo.

Panic started to set in as you realized the gravity of the situation. Aides was ready to kill for what he wanted, but you couldn't let him kill Bakugo.

Without a second thought, you quickly moved in front of Bakugo, shielding him from Aides. A shot rang out, and a sharp pain stung your leg. You let out a cry of pain as you fell to the ground, clutching your wounded leg.

That's when everything changed in an instant.

It started with the loud bang, followed by screams and shouts. The peaceful atmosphere was shattered, and chaos ensued. Customers and employees alike ran for cover, knocking over bookshelves and trampling on each other in a desperate attempt to escape.

Bakugo immediately rushed to your side, holding onto you tightly.

You could finally make out some of the words he was saying, your hearing slowly coming back to normal.

Another shot rang out through the shop, but this time it wasn't by Aides.

You looked to the side to see the man from Bondye's shop, holding a gun in his hand. He had fired a shot into the air that caused people to scream even louder and scatter in away from that direction.

You could see the fear in the people's eyes as they ran for cover or just a way to get out of this place. But there was too much chaos in here, everyone was running and not thinking, people were getting hurt.

"Shit, get the fuck up," Bakugo shouted at you, snapping you back into reality.

You looked over to him, he was extending his arm out to you. You instantly grabbed it the second you saw it and Bakugo helped you up with ease.

You moved your hand from his and held onto his shoulder as he helped you up but you couldn't help but focus on the two men.

Aides slowly stood up, a mischievous smirk on his face as he wiped his pants. "Ah, Soter, finally joining in on the fun?"

You stared wide eyed, the mystery man that had been following you around was named Soter. Aides was talking about a Soter earlier in the limo that Soter had him to earth. And it now finally clicked, Soter was stalking you to keep you safe from Aides.

"Leave these kids alone," Soter stated, now pointing the gun toward Aides.

Aides let out a cackle, it sounded so evil and dark that it made a shiver run down your spine.

Someone started to gently slapped you on your cheek, making you look towards them. It was Bakugo again.

"Are you fucking listening? We gotta go," he told you.

Your mouth was left agape as you stared at Bakugo wide eyed.

"Uso-tsuki! I've already used what I've saved up, I can't defend us anymore," he shouted, he looked over to the two. "That extra got it, right now we have to move."

"Ok, ok."

Bakugo wrapped an arm around your waist, keeping a tight hold to keep you balance as he took your arm and put it around his neck.

Every time you tried to step on that leg it would send a shot of pain throughout your body, you winced as you tried to take another step with it. The leg was a lost cause right now, you would have to take care of that later.

Right now the problem was leaving. Everyone was shoving and pushing each other to get out the door, but you didn't get angry at them for that. Instead you felt guilty.

Everything was supposed to stay in order and you were supposed to save Bakugo but all you had caused was fear and pain for everyone and yourself.

Bakugo looked over to you and as if he read your mind he said, "It's not your fault."

You looked back at him and saw an expression that you had never seen on his face, it somewhat scared you. "It isn't...," you responded, "it's yours! You couldn't leave when I told you to?"

And just as fast that expression was put on his face, it disappeared. "I wasn't going to fucking leave you, we're sticking together now."

"Well, if 'we're sticking together' how about we shove our brains together and find another exit?" You jokingly said with a rude tone.

"I don't need your incompetent brain, we just gotta find an emergency exit. All places are supposed to have emergency exits."

You shrugged, "let's go then."

Bakugo began to walk, a bit faster than the first time and you were left to trip and fall to try to keep his pace.

"Hey, I can't move that fast," you said, wincing in pain as you tried to keep up.

"Goddamnit," he mumbled. He removed his hand from your waist and took your arm off of his shoulder, leaving you out of balance. "Get on my damn back."

"I am not going onto your bac-"

"Just get on my fucking back!"

"Ok, chill your beans," you replied, moving over to him and wrapping your arms around his neck.

He leaned forward as he went to grab onto your thighs, a little too high for your liking.

You instinctively slapped him on the back of his head for that.

"Hey, what the hell?" He yelled as he picked you up. You let out a small yelp in surprise as he did, wrapping your arms around his neck again but a bit tighter this time.

"Just move it," you told him, slapping him on the back of his head again.

He growled, "I'm not a damn horse!"

"You're a target right now, move it!"

Bakugo grumbled and listened to you, squeezing through the pushes crowd that was going in the opposite direction. You guessed that everyone would go for the front doors since it's common sense. As you both moved farther back there were less people fighting and running to leave, it was just you and Bakugo by then.

And the multiple gunshots.
