It had been quite a fun outing for the Gilbert family (plus Alaric) at Mystic Grill. They had lunch together and a couple of drinks after Jenna compelled the bartender to ignore Emily and Elena's ages while the youngest Gilbert had pouted and whined that he wasn't getting a drink, too.

The Sunday afternoon was filled with bunch of laughs and smiles between the group of humans, a vampire hunter, a witch, and a vampire. It was something that they definitely needed after all of the chaos in their lives these last few months.

The group finally decided to call it a day when the sun began to go down and the town center started to become too dark.

It had gotten to the point where Emily and Elena could no longer read the journals in front of them. The street lamps didn't exactly give off enough light for the Gilbert twins to be able to read properly.

The Radkova witch began to pack up Stefan's journals into her black and purple backpack while Jenna, Alaric, and Elena were neatly stacking up their empty plates and glasses for the waitress to pick up.

Emily slipped on her backpack before she stood up from the table. "I'll go grab Jer," the Radkova witch announced to the group.

The youngest Gilbert had ended up disappearing inside of the packed Mystic Grill, once again, about an hour ago. The group had let Jeremy go off to do his own thing but Emily wanted her brother to come home with them.

Mystic Falls wasn't exactly safe to hang around alone when there was an original vampire, a hybrid, and an emotionless vampire willing to do anything Klaus told them to creeping around.

"I'll come with you," Alaric offered to the Radkova witch as he stood up from his seat before he pushed the chair into the table.

"I don't know about you guys," the Sommers vampire muttered before she admitted with a light chuckle, "but my bladder won't hold on any longer."

Elena giggled alongside her aunt before she confessed, "I have to go, too." Elena had tried to ignore the alcohol going through her body but she knew it would be best to go the restroom now or she just might have an accident in the car on the way home.

Emily chuckled in amusement as she stared at her twin sister and her aunt. "Come on," the Radkova witch murmured as she waved her hand. "It looks like we're all heading the same way," Emily stated.

The Radkova witch silently led the group as she opened the door to Mystic Grill before they entered the building. The four headed towards the bar before they spilt up into two groups as Jenna and Elena headed straight to the women's restroom.

Emily and Alaric continued on to the bar to look for the youngest Gilbert before the Radkova witch spotted a familiar face on a stool at the bar. Emily grabbed the sleeve of Alaric's brown jacket before she pulled him into the direction of the person she recognized.

The vampire hunter immediately groaned when he saw Emily was leading him towards the oldest Salvatore. However, Emily chose to ignore Alaric's complaining.

"Hey," Emily called out. "I didn't see you come in," the Radkova witch muttered with a hint of confusion throughout her voice.

Damon rotated in his seat before he shot the Radkova witch a smirk. "I didn't want to interrupt family night," the Salvatore vampire stated before he quickly grew serious. "I'm glad you two found me, though," Damon muttered, "we got trouble."

"No, you've got trouble," Alaric exclaimed before the Radkova witch had the chance to open her mouth. "See, we're not a team. We're not friends," Alaric stated as he glared at the Salvatore vampire. Alaric shook his head before he told Damon, "I don't like you anymore."

The Radkova witch ignored Alaric and his love-hate relationship with Damon as she looked at the aforementioned vampire with a deep frown on her face. "What kind of trouble?" Emily worriedly asked.

Damon didn't immediately respond to the Radkova witch's question as he chose to smirk at the very annoyed vampire hunter. "Ah," Damon gasped. "But remember when you liked me?" The Salvatore vampire teasingly asked Alaric before he quickly grew serious when Damon added, "when we conspired to kill uncle werewolf Mason Lockwood?"

"Mason?" The Radkova witch asked in confusion. What the hell would Mason have to do with anything? Emily silently asked herself.

"Yup," Damon muttered as he nodded his head. "I think he's still a little pissed," the Salvatore vampire stated as he briefly cringed at the memory of his morning.

"Wait, wait, wait," Emily proclaimed as she waved her hands in front of her. "What are you even talking about?" The Radkova witch asked Damon in confusion. "Mason's dead," Emily reminded the duo.

"I thought so, too," Damon muttered before he lifted up his index finger to alert the bartender to pour him another drink. "But then I woke up chained to a chair with vervain," the Salvatore vampire recalled.

Emily quickly shook her head. "There's no way," the Radkova witch muttered in complete denial.

The Radkova witch truly believed that Damon had to be imagining things. It would be too much of a coincidence for two ghosts from their past coming back to life.

Hell, the only reason Vicki Donovan could interact with them was because she had a strong witch helping her. Emily absolutely refused to believe that another ghost was back to bother them.

"Aw," a new voice murmured as the person joined the trio at the bar. "You didn't miss me, princess?" The voice cooed to the Radkova witch.

Damon looked over to the familiar werewolf smirking his way. "Only I call her that," the Salvatore vampire grumbled under his breath as he turned back to face the bar.

Emily quickly turned her head at the sound of the voice before she released a loud gasp when she saw Mason Lockwood alive and well in front of her. "Mase," the Radkova witch whispered in shock.

The Lockwood werewolf shot Emily a wide grin before he turned to the bar and swiftly swiped Damon's newly filled drink from his hand. "God, I miss whiskey," Mason grunted before he brought Damon's glass up to his lips.

The bar at Mystic Grill was tense as the vampire, hunter, and witch all waited for Mason's next move as he drank the glass of whiskey. The trio barely had time to react before the Lockwood werewolf suddenly slammed the empty glass onto Damon's forehead.

The Salvatore vampire groaned at the feeling of tiny shards of glass pushing in and out of his skin. Damon wiped the glass from his forehead before he looked over to Alaric and Emily with an annoyed expression. "Told you," Damon muttered.

The Radkova witch quickly moved into action as she placed herself between Damon and Mason. "Woah, woah, woah," Emily proclaimed. "Let's calm down," Emily ordered as she pressed her palms onto the Lockwood werewolf's chest.

Mason pointed his finger over the Radkova witch's shoulder towards the Salvatore vampire. "He killed me," Mason exclaimed before he shrugged his shoulders. "It's only fair I get even," the Lockwood werewolf uttered.

"I get it, Mase, I do," Emily murmured as she softly stared up at the Lockwood werewolf with a sad look to her green eyes. "I'm so sorry what happened to you. I wished I could have done something to change what happened," the Radkova witch confessed.

"I--" Emily had began to continue to defuse the situation between the ghostly Mason and Damon, who killed him, when she was suddenly interrupted by her aunt Jenna suddenly appearing by her side.

"Em, we need your help," the Sommers vampire desperately told her niece before Jenna's hazel eyes quickly widened when she took notice of Mason Lockwood.

"Woah, Mason," Jenna gasped at the sight of the dead werewolf.

The Sommers vampire heard all about what went down with Mason back in the day before she realizes werewolves and vampires were real. Jenna originally thought Mason just left Mystic Falls but she knew now that was far from the actual truth when it came to the Lockwood werewolf.

Mason dipped his head once towards the strawberry blonde woman. "Jenna," the Lockwood werewolf murmured as he greeted the Sommers vampire. "Glad to see you're still alive," Mason mused.

Jenna softly chuckled. "Barely," the Sommers vampire joked before she quickly turned her attention back to her niece. "We have a problem," Jenna told the Radkova witch as she gripped onto Emily's arm.

Emily quickly nodded her head in understanding as she could see how serious her aunt was looking at her. The Radkova witch knew it must be something really wrong if it needed her attention.

The Radkova witch turned to look over to Mason as a deep frown appeared on her face. "I'm sorry for what happened to you," Emily apologized once more she begged, "but please, Mase. Things don't have to turn violent."

Emily leaned up and placed a short kiss onto the Lockwood werewolf's cheek. "It was really good to see you again, Mason," the Radkova witch murmured with a small smile incase this would be the last time she would see Mason.

Mason's hard face softened as he stared down at the Gilbert girl. He did always have a soft spot for her. Mason brought his hand up to Emily's cheek and grinned at her.

"I'm still so proud of you," Mason told the young witch. "I've watched you grow towards your potential from the other side," the Lockwood werewolf stated. "You're trying your hardest and that's what matters. Don't give up and keep fighting, princess," Mason murmured, "I'll always be here supporting you."

The Radkova witch could only stare at Mason with tears in her green eyes before she forced her feet to move to chase after Jenna. Emily wanted nothing more to stay there and talk to Mason but she knew she couldn't. There was more pressing matters to do with.

Emily huffed out a breath once she finally caught up to her aunt's long legs and stopped in front of the women's restroom at Mystic Grill. "What's wrong?" The Radkova witch asked in confusion.

"We got an original vampire problem," Jenna told her niece. "People like Mason are coming back to our side because of a witch opening a door from the other side," the Sommers vampire muttered as she pushed the door to the women's restroom open.

"Definitely not good," Emily muttered to herself before she followed after her aunt into the restroom. Emily quickly froze, though, when she found Jeremy and Anna, his dead ex-girlfriend, huddled together against the wall while Elena was tensely holding her cell phone across from them.

Elena felt herself relax when she caught sight of her twin sister. "Okay," Elena sighed towards her cell phone before she murmured, "Emily's here."

The Radkova witch was knocked out of her frozen stance once she heard Elena's voice before she quickly crossed the restroom to stand next to her twin sister. "How are we supposed to fix this?" Emily asked before she shook her head. "We can't have vengeful ghosts walking freely around town," the Radkova witch muttered.

"Apparently, the witch can draw from this side because of her talisman," Caroline told the Radkova witch through the speaker on Elena's cell phone.

Emily furrowed her brows in confusion. "I thought Bonnie got rid of her," the Radkova witch murmured.

The Bennett witch had explained everything to Emily about what happened at the bonfire with Matt and Vicki and the witch that was helping her. Bonnie had told Emily that she got rid of the Donovan girl before the witch disappeared as well.

"We thought so, too," Caroline muttered before she informed the Radkova witch, "but it actually caused a door or something from the other side to be pushed open."

"Wait... Talisman," Elena whispered to herself before she quickly asked the Forbes vampire when a thought swiftly appeared in her mind, "do you mean Emily's necklace?"

"The ruby..." Emily gasped as she turned to her twin sister when she had the same exact thought. "At Senior Prank night, Klaus' sister kept talking about the ruby and how it belongs to the original witch," Emily told Jenna and Caroline, who hadn't been present at the time.

"I contacted Maria Radkova awhile back and she said the Radkova coven had it for centuries but it did originally belong to the very first witch in existence," Emily recalled.

"Well, whatever the story is behind it, it has some very strong juju power," Caroline told the Gilbert twins. "It's not good," the Forbes vampire mumbled before she spoke to the older Gilbert twin, "you're not going to like this, Em, but Bonnie says she needs to destroy it."

Emily released a light chuckle. "I honestly don't care what happens to it at this point," the Radkova witch muttered before she stated, "it's caused me too much trouble."

"Yeah," Elena uttered in agreement with her twin sister as she nodded her head. "I walked in on Jeremy kissing the reason why I'm completely on board with destroying the thing," Elena stated as she stared at Anna with a glare.

"What!?" The Forbes vampire screeched from the other end of the phone call.

"You got to be kidding me," Emily grunted as she turned to her brother, who at least looked ashamed, and her brother's embarrassed ex-girlfriend.

"I wish I was," Elena murmured as she thought of Bonnie, her best friend, who was stuck in the middle of her brother's carelessness.

The Radkova witch felt so frustrated towards her brother and his actions. Emily wanted to wring Jeremy's neck for doing something so stupid as cheating on his girlfriend with a ghost.

"We'll deal with you in a second," the Radkova witch muttered as she pointed her index and middle finger towards Jeremy and Ana before she focused onto the more important pressing matters that had to deal with the original witch and her necklace.

"I don't have the necklace," Emily told the Forbes vampire through the phone. "I gave it to Katherine when she and Damon went looking for Mikael," the Radkova witch explained before she told Caroline, "Call Damon. He's here at the Grill but he should be able to help you get it."

"Call me back if he doesn't know where it is," Emily quickly added before she stated, "I'll call Katherine if Damon can't find the necklace." Emily honestly had no idea who even had her necklace. The Radkova witch could only hope that the necklace was still here in Mystic Falls.

"I will," Caroline promised. "I'll talk to you guys soon," the Forbes vampire murmured before she ended the call.

Elena pushed her cell phone in the front pocket of her blue jeans once the call was disconnected. The human girl moved her brown eyes towards Jeremy and Anna before she asked her twin sister, "what are we going to do about this?"

"Emmie," Jeremy desperately called out to his older sister to beg her to listen and understand his reasoning.

The Radkova witch quickly held up her palm to silence Jeremy. "I honestly don't have time to deal with all of this," Emily muttered as she waved her hand in Jeremy and Anna's direction, "and I really don't want to understand it."

Jenna placed a comforting hand onto her niece's shoulder. "Hey, don't worry about this," the Sommers vampire told Emily, "we can handle this. You go deal with Mason."

Elena's brown eyes quickly widened in surprise. "Mason is here?" The human girl asked.

Emily huffed out a heavy sigh as she nodded her head. "Yeah," Emily muttered before she told her twin sister, "Damon seems to think he's back for revenge."

A frown immediately pulled onto Elena's face at the thought of Damon, Mason, and revenge all mixed together. Elena didn't like that thought at all, especially with how they dealt with the Lockwood werewolf back then.

"You should go deal with that," Elena told the Radkova witch as she became overwhelmed with worry for her boyfriend. "Make sure Damon doesn't get himself killed, please," Elena desperately begged her twin sister.

Emily shot her twin sister a small smile. "I will," the Radkova witch swore. Emily slowly stepped backwards out of the restroom as she told her aunt and sister, "let me know if Caroline calls back."

"We will," Jenna assured her niece.

The Radkova witch silently nodded her head before she turned around and was about to step out of the women's restroom. However, that was until Jeremy called out to her.

"Emily, wait!" The youngest Gilbert desperately begged. Jeremy waited for his sister to face before the human teenager murmured, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this happen."

"But it did, Jeremy," the Radkova witch reminded her brother. "You made this mess, now you have to fix it," Emily told Jeremy as she pointed her index finger at him.

"You are the one who's going to tell Bonnie the truth and you have to accept that you were the one to break the heart of someone who would literally do anything for you," Emily angrily proclaimed.

The Radkova witch didn't bother giving Jeremy the chance to respond before she swiftly turned around and exited out of the women's restroom.

Emily was honestly disappointed in her brother. Emily completely understood wanting to talk to someone who Jeremy once cared for after getting the ability to talk to the dead. However, Emily believed Jeremy should have been honest with Bonnie from the beginning about him talking to Ana.

Jeremy was pretty much emotionally cheating on Bonnie in the Radkova witch's opinion and Emily refused to defend someone doing that to her best friend even if it was her own brother.

The Radkova witch forcefully shook her head to brush off Jeremy and his head ex-girlfriend problem to focus back onto the task at hand; a revengeful Mason Lockwood.

However, Emily didn't even get the chance to rejoin the Salvatore vampire and the Lockwood werewolf to stop them from hurting each other when she suddenly ran straight into someone in the restroom hallway at Mystic Grill.

Emily gasped as she quickly gripped onto the person's waist to steady herself. The Radkova witch took a step back once she caught her balance before Emily's green eyes widened when she came face-to-face with a deceased but familiar figure. "Lexi," the Radkova witch whispered.

The blonde vampire smirked as she stared down at the shocked girl. "It's nice to know people can see me again," Lexi joked.

"W-What are you doing here?" Emily quickly asked.

The Radkova witch was honestly completely surprised to see Lexi Branson standing in front of her. However, in reality, Emily knew she shouldn't be that shocked with all the dead people she had seen in the last three days.

"I heard you were calling out to me today from the other side," Lexi explained to the young witch. Lexi spread out her arms as she proclaimed, "I'm here to help."

"With Stefan?" The Radkova witch inquired.

The Branson vampire nodded her head. "Mm-hmm," Lexi murmured before she stated, "it seems like we got a little problem with that one."

The Radkova witch released a loud scoff. "That's an understatement," Emily muttered.

Lexi smiled softly at the young witch. "Come on," Lexi murmured as she looped her arm through Emily's before she began to pull the brunette girl through the crowded Mystic Grill. "Let's go get our boy back," the Branson vampire proclaimed.

Emily couldn't help but released a sigh of relief as she followed after the blonde vampire. "I'm so glad you're here," The Radkova witch confessed.

Lexi glanced over towards the young witch with an amused grin appearing on her face. "You might not feel that way soon," the Branson vampire murmured before she warned Emily, "ripper detox isn't going to be easy."

The Radkova witch took a deep breath before she nodded her head in understanding. "I'll do anything at this point," Emily admitted as she followed the blonde vampire out of Mystic Grill and into the dark night. "I just want the old Stefan back," Emily quietly muttered.

Lexi stopped and turned around to face the Radkova witch with a sad smile displayed across her lips. "Good," the Branson vampire murmured as she reached over to squeeze Emily's hand. "You have to remember that when things start to get hard because they will," Lexi advised.

I will," Emily swore.

The Radkova witch knew this wasn't going to be easy. Hell, Emily knew that from experience when she refused to acknowledge her own emotions for a period of time. However, no matter how difficult, Emily wasn't going to give up on Stefan like he never gave up on her. Emily wasn't going to stop until the real Stefan was back.
