I smile at him. "Ok, I'll keep calling you pet names then."
"Good, and to answer your question I would like cheese in my eggs" He said.
"Ok" I went to the fridge to get the cheese and put it into the egg mixture.

I leg out a sigh. "Ok there's only a few occasions I'll say this and this is one of them, but can you please go put some clothes on? We don't have enough time to have sex and with you looking so sexy I'll make us both late and we both can't have that."

After breakfast I get ready and we leave for work.

With me getting there earlier I can work on some treatment plans I've thought of and do more research.

After lunch I start researching another treatment plan for one of the players when there's a knock on the door.
I look up and see Ryot standing in the doorway.
"Hey, how was practice?"
"Good. We just got done and I wanted to see if you wanted to get going" He said.
"Not yet, I still have some research I need to do and write up this treatment plan."
"Ok, mind if I hangout here then?" He asked.
I shook my head. "Of course not."
He rounds the counter and sits in the chair next to me and rolls it over and kisses me.
He tries to deepen the kiss, but I pull back. "I have to finish this up so the quicker I get done the quicker I we can get home and have fun."

I go back to my laptop and out of the corner of my eye I see him going through my cup that holds all my pens and things.
He then proceeds to act like a child and take out all the pens and tosses them at the cup trying to get them in.
Men are like large children, but I love it.
He makes a mess, but he's keeping himself busy.
I don't know why he's doing this since he has his phone with him, but I guess this is more fun to him.
I manage to tune him out and get some work done until he starts playing with my stapler.
"Do you think you could do something else, that's really distracting and you're using up my staples."
"Sorry" He puts the stapler down and gets up to look around.
He goes through the cabinets searching for who knows what.
He's quiet, looking at some of the supplies until I hear him gag.
I turn in my chair to see him pulling a tongue depressor out of his mouth.
"Really?"
He shrugged. "What? I wanted to see what it felt like. How do you do it?" He asked seriously.
I furrow my eyebrows at him. "Do what?"

I roll my lips to keep from laughing. "It's a good thing you're straight then."
He rolls his eyes. "I'm serious though" He said.

I turn back to my laptop and try to finish my work.
He comes back to his seat and leans back, putting his feet up on the counter.
A few seconds later I hear a crack from the chair and watch as it breaks, making him fall on the ground with a thud.
"Oof" He said from the impact.
"Are you ok?" I asked as I watch him lay on the floor.
He sits up and laughs. "Yeah I'm good, that chair sucks" He said grabbing the broken half of the chair.
"I mean it's not used to a 220 pound hockey player sitting in it so I'm not surprised it broke, especially with how you were leaning in it."
He winces. "Yeah, probably shouldn't have done that" He said.
He sets the chair against the counter and gets up on the exam table and lays down.
He's quiet for awhile so I'm able to get my work done.
When I finish my work I clean everything up and I look over at Ryot and see he's asleep on the exam table.
I get off my chair and walk over to the exam table and push the hair thats fallen on his forehead. "Baby, it's time to wake up" I said softly still running my fingers through his hair.
He slowly opens his green eyes. "How long was I out for?" He asked.
I check my phone. "About an hour."
He stretches his arms and slowly sits up. "I really needed that, now I'll be able to go all night" He wiggled his eyebrows making me shake my head at him.

Today is a big day.
The team is visiting a children's hospital and it's really rough seeing all these sick kids.
Thankfully the team had no problem with me tagging along, especially now that Ryot and I went public.
There was no way I was missing today.
Ryot and I are walking to a little boy's room who is a big fan of Ryot.
We walk down the hallway until we reach the boys room.
Ryot knocks on the door and peaks into the room. "Is this Steven's room?" He asked.
The boys parents are filming the whole interaction.
The boys jaw drops. "That's me, but you're Ryot James" He said in disbelief.
Ryot smiled and walked into the room, I follow behind him, but walk out of the view of the video.
The little boy smiled and looked at his parents. "Am I dreaming?" He asked making us all laugh.
"No you're definitely not dreaming. I heard that you're a big fan" Ryot said to him.
The boy sits up straighter. "I am, I watch all of your games" He said quickly like most kids talk when they're excited.
The boys mother comes over to me as Ryot and Steven talk about hockey.
"Thank you guys so much for this, it's been very hard lately" She wiped her eyes as tears fell.
"It's no problem, Ryot was so excited when he heard we were visiting the children's hospital."
"We appreciate. Vists like this make this a little bit easier" She said.
"I'm glad. If you don't mind me asking... What does Steven have?"
She let out a sigh. "He has leukemia. We found out 6 months ago, but from what the doctors said we found out right away so hopefully we have a fighting chance" She said glancing at her son with a far off look.
I put my hand on her arm. "I don't have kids so I don't know what you're going through, but I can guarantee he'll have a great time with Ryot and take his mind off of everything."
She smiled at me. "That's all I can ask for" She said.
We watch as Ryot makes Steven laugh and next to me I watch Steven's mother fall into her husband's check softly crying.
I can't imagine what this family is going through.
Ryot makes it his mission for this boy to have a fun time with him.
They play a few rounds of a card game and Ryot gives him some signed t shirts and other merch.
The whole time Steven is smiling.
I can't help but watch the interaction and think.
He'll be a great dad one day.
