2. Arguing over silly Christmas things

Spending Christmas with Xavi in Germany, you were just so excited especially for decorating the apartment.
"This is too much babe, why do you have so many decorations?" he looked down at the box of decorations you had gathered and kept with special pieces from your childhood.
"Why?" you asked Xavi as he stood up whilst holding items in the box.
You asked him. "I have no clue why you keep this shit, it is just tat" Xavi groaned as he picked up the decorations again as he delved deeper into the box.
"They aren't shit, they mean something to me. What has gotten into you all of a sudden? you are in a right mood" you pulled the decoration out of his hand that he was holding.
"I'm not in a mood, I just want to get ready and decorate. But I don't want to use any of this stuff, it isn't anything to do with me and I don't see the relevance to any of it" Xavi shrugged.
"You are winding me up and I am not in the mood for it. I just want to put my decorations up" you ignored him, pushing past him as you put the tree up. The fake tree of course, you weren't ready to get a real one just yet.
"I am not winding you up, I am being serious. I want us to buy some new ones, it is fine" Xavi smiled as you just ignored him.
"Fine" you bluntly replied, feeling slightly hurt by it.
"How about we make a deal? you take some of these and put them out and we can get some new ones, making some memories" you nodded as you cuddled Xavi.
"Sounds perfect, sorry for being stupid. It is just I miss my family and this all gets a little overwhelming" you cuddled him tightly as he kissed your forehead as you snuggled into his arms.
