Nick: "So good to finally meet you. I missed you at Tony's retirement party"
Y/n: "I didn't know he HAD a retirement party, must've still been passed out by then"
Nick: "I'll bet. The important thing is, you're here. I tried to bring you here. You avoided me, and now you're here. What a coincidence"
Y/n: "Is it though?"
Peter, who was still stuck to the wall, chimes in.
Peter: "Wait, You avoided Nick Fury!?"
Y/n: "No, I BLOCKED Nick Fury. He wouldn't admit it, but I just sent him a voice mail and now he's pissed"
Nick: "Back on topic-"
Peter: "Wait, how did you know he was gonna call you?"
Y/n: "Happy gave me a heads up after my opening speech in the F.E.A.S.T ceremony. Speaking of Happy, did you notice anything strange going on between him and May?"
Peter: "Hm...now that I think about it, he does seem to be more present than he used to be before the blip. That could be the-"
Another tranquilizer dart flies through the air and towards Peter's neck, only to be intercepted by Y/n as he shoots a web to the projectile and sticks it to the wall beside Peter.
Nick: "I am not just gonna sit here while you two have a conversation like I'm not even here"
Y/n: "Then just get to the point, cyclops. Why ARE you here?"
Nick: "...I used to know everything. Then I came back five years later, and now I know nothing. No intel, no team. And a high school kid is dodging my calls"
Y/n: "Blocked. I blocked your calls..."
Nick then glares at Y/n.
Y/n: "I'll shut up now"
Nick: "Here's what I do know..."
Fury then placed a device down on the coffee table, projecting a globe along with points with specific reports on that specific area.
Nick: "A week ago, a village in Mexico was wiped out by a cyclone. Witnesses say that the cyclone had a face. Three days later, a similar event in Morocco. A village was-"
A knock on the door quickly cuts Fury off as Mr. Harrington peaks into the room.
Harrington: "Just making the rounds. See if anyone needs any counseling after today's traumatic events"
Y/n: "Oh, perfect timing. I was just checking up on Peter, how are we feeling there buddy?'
Peter: "Oh, I'm fine. Just, you know...hanging around"
Harrington: "Great because I'm not qualified to do it anyway, so good night"
Y/n: "Oh, Mr. Harrington. Is it cool if I crash here? At least until morning?"
Nick: *mutters* "Hurry. UP!"
Harrington: "You sure? It's gonna get pretty cramped in there"
Y/n: "It's fine. I'll just sleep on the ceiling"
Harrington: "Haha! What are you Spider-man?"
Mr. Harrington chuckles before shutting the door.
Y/n: "...You have no idea...Anyways, you were saying?"
Nick: "A village was destroyed by what may well be another world-threatening-"
MJ's voice: *muffled* "Peter? You still awake?"
Peter: *eyes widened* "Uh-oh..."
MJ's voice: *muffled* "I'm coming in!"
Paranoid to think what Nick would do if he were spotted by any of their classmates, Y/n hurriedly shuts the door as MJ peers it open.
Y/n: "Woah-woah-woah! You can't come in here"
Once he had locked the door, Y/n walked back to the room before thinking of an excuse. His eyes dart to Nick who slowly starts to get more and more irritated, then to Peter, who's STILL stuck to the wall, before back to the door.
Y/n: "I-I I'm NAKED!"
MJ's voice: "WHAT!!?"
Peter/Nick: "...what?"
Y/n: *whispers to Peter* "Well I can't say that YOU'RE naked, cause she's technically allowed to see you naked"
Peter: *whispers* "Why does ANYONE HAVE to be NAKED?"
MJ's voice: "Why are you naked? And in Peter's room?"
Peter: *aloud* "He uh...Y/n had to show me something!"
Peter rolls his eyes in disbelief as Y/n inaudibly gasps.
MJ's voice: "Naked!!?"
Y/n: "Okay, listen. I don't need you UP my ass, alright!? I already got Peter for that, so can you just save it for tomorrow?"
MJ's voice: "Alright...you boys are weird. Just tell Peter to text me before we leave for Paris, okay?"
Peter: "Will do, babe! See you when we head to Paris!"
MJ's voice: "Goodnight, Tiger~!"
Peter: "Goodnight!"
Nick: "...That's why it's imperative that-"
Another knock was then heard on the door, this time it was their other teacher Mr. Julius Dell.
Julius's voice: "Hey, boys. So that canal water today was filled with dangerous bacteria..."
Nick: *pissed* "Another person touch that door, you and I are gonna attend another early retirement party. Suit up"
Julius's voice: "...Let me know if you develop vomiting"
Y/n: "Yep! Thanks, Mr. Dell!"
Standing up from the chair, Nick grabs the device from the table before he goes to leave through the window as Y/n donned his Wakandan suit before following after him.
Peter: "Hey...Y/n...about that talk we had..."
Y/n: "...I'll think about it"
Y/n then pulled up his mask before jumping out the window.
Peter: "...So you're just not even gonna get me out of this? Y/n...? Hello...Okay, then"
Nick and Y/n can now be seen sailing through the canals with Nick steering their small ship.
Nick: "Stark left these for you"
Fury gives Y/n a glasses case. He takes it and opens it to reveal a pair of sunglasses. Curious, he turns to Fury.
Nick: "Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. Stark said you wouldn't get that because it's not a Star Wars reference"
Y/n: "I know what it means" (I have...no idea what that means)
Sometime later, the two are walking across the corridors of some mysterious underground vault.
Nick: "You can lose the mask. Everyone here has seen you without it. You'd be feigning anonymity and breathing through a vibranium habit for no good reason"
Y/n: "Okay. You don't gotta be so pissy"
Y/n retracts his mask before spending a little while examining the place before Fury calls him.
Nick: "Come on"
Y/n: "So did S.H.I.E.L.D. hit rock bottom since Washington? Or are we just investing all our resources in S.W.O.R.D.? I don't know if that's a real organization, I just assumed"
Y/n follows Fury and learns that the vault has been remade into some sort of a special operations covert spy base. Loaded with spy equipment, hardware, and computers.
Y/n: "I guess you could add embezzling to your resume"
Nick: "Focus!"
Y/n: "Right..."
Nick: "You remember Maria Hill"
Maria Hill is seen operating a computer.
Nick: "That is Dimitri"
Dmitri Smerdyakov, a Russian sitting next to Hill, cocks a crossbow.
Nick: "And this is Mr. Beck"
Nick points to the same mysterious figure Y/n had encountered during his fight with the water monster. Only discarded his helmet to reveal his well-combed hair and beard.
Y/n: "Fishbowl head!"
Quentin: "That. Is NOT my name"
Ignoring his statement, Y/n turns to Nick.
Y/n: "You don't need me. We have a local hero over here"
Nick: "He's not LOCAL so to speak. Mind telling him?"
Quentin: "You handled yourself well out there today. We could use someone like you in my world"
Y/n: "I'm sorry. 'Your world'?"
Nick: "Mr. Beck is from Earth. Just not yours"
Quentin: "There are multiple realities, Y/n. This is Earth Dimension 616. I'm from Earth 833"
Y/n: "Hmm...right, right. Interesting"
Y/n then feints interest as he subtly taps his foot in irritation.
Maria Hill then activates a holographic display on the table, illustrating the Milky Way galaxy.
Quentin: "They were born in stable orbits within black holes. Creatures formed from the primary elements: Air, water, fire, and earth. The Science Division had a technical name. We just called them Elementals"
Maria: "Versions of them exist across our mythologies"
Quentin: "Turns out, the myths are real"
A scoff was heard in the room, looking over, they saw Y/n struggling to contain his laughter.
Y/n: "I'm sorry...hehe...*clears throat* Continue"
Nick: "These myths are THREATS. Try to restrain yourself. Parker"
Quentin: "They first materialized on my Earth many years ago"
The hologram then shows a 3D model of Beck's Earth.
Quentin: "We mobilized and fought them, but with each battle, they grew, got stronger. I was part of the last battalion left trying to stop them"
As Beck speaks a wave of fire slowly engulfs the planet's surface, rendering it a barren, charred wasteland.
Quentin: "All we did was delay the inevitable"
Maria: "The Elementals are here now, attacking the same coordinates. Our satellites confirm it"
Nick: "So thank Mr. Beck for destroying the other three"
Y/n: "Actually, I defeated the water monster thing. Not stealing the spotlight. Just thought you'd give the proper credit"
Nick: "...Then, there's only one left: fire"
Quentin: "The strongest of them all. The one that destroyed my Earth"
As if to amplify his narration, the digital wasteland crumbles and falls apart, until there's nothing left in the holo space.
Quentin: "It's the one that took my family"
Maria: "And it will be in Prague in approximately 48 hours"
Nick: "We have one mission: kill it"
Nick then looks to Y/n.
Nick: "And you're coming with us"
Y/n, unable to contain it, laughs out hysterically. Tears of joy flow down his eyes as he bellows his laughter aloud. Eventually, the laughter dies down, enabling Y/n to see Fury and the others looking over at Y/n with a deadpan expression.
Y/n: "Oh, you're serious?"
Nick glares at Y/n once again, but this time Y/n stands his ground.
Y/n: "Yeah, sure. Let me just web up LITERAL FIRE!"
Maria: "What's your point?"
Y/n: "My point is that you called the wrong person for the job. I am SEVERELY underqualified for this mission"
Nick: "Bitch, please. You've been to space!"
Y/n: "So that justifies me just ignoring the laws of physics!!? I mean, come on. You have a variety of heroes in your contacts. What about Thor?"
Nick: "Off-world"
Y/n: "What about Strange?"
Maria: "Unavailable"
Peter: "Captain Marvel?
Nick: "Don't invoke her name"
Y/n: "Captain America"
Nick: "Retired"
Y/n: "I meant Sam. Wasn't he supposed to take up the shield?"
Maria: "He gave up the shield"
Y/n: "HE DID!!? Sonuva bitch"
With a sigh of disbelief, Y/n rubs his face before looking over to Nick.
Y/n: "Listen. I really wanna help. I do. But I can't go to Prague, the main reason I'm even here is because of my school trip. Not because I plan to go international. So I'm sorry, but Imma sit this one out"
Nick: "Okay. I understand.
Y/n: "Thank you- Wait, for real?"
Nick: "Why don't you get back before your teachers, who miss you, become suspicious"
He smiles knowingly.
Nick: "Dimitri. Take him back to the hotel, please"
Dimitri: "Yes"
Y/n: "Wait, I don't trust that look"
Dimitri then walks to Y/n's side before escorting him out.
Y/n: "So he's not gonna like, HIJACK my school trip. Right?"
Peter: "You did WHAT?"
It was now early in the morning. Y/n and Peter were seen carrying their luggage out of the hotel.
Y/n: "I turned down a mission from Nick Fury"
Peter: "That's insane! You sure it's a good idea though?"
Y/n: "Peter. I'm going up against nature. Now he wants me to fight fire!"
Peter: "That would put you at an extreme disadvantage"
Y/n: "That's what I told him! Never mind, it's passed. As long as we stay as far away from Prague as possible, we'll be good"
Mr. Harrington: "Good news. We're going to Prague!"
Peter/Y/n: "What?!"
Mr. Harrington: "Yeah. Tour company called. They upgraded us. You should've heard me on the phone with them. I really gave them hell"
Julius: "All I heard was crying"
Mr. Harrington then led the class to the back of the hotel, where they were met with a luxurious minibus.
Mr. Harrington: "Look at our upgraded ride"
Students: "Whoa, bro, you see that? It's pretty sick"
Julius: "I'm impressed, Mr. Harrington"
Y/n: "Sonuva bitch!"
Peter: "Y/n, wh- what's going on?"
Y/n: "Well, I think, I THINK, Nick Fury just hijacked our Vaca-ture"
Mr. Harrington: "I'm Mr. Harrington to the kids..."
Mr. Harrington goes to shake hands with Dimitri, only to receive silence in return.
Mr. Harrington: "Oh, all right. Okay"
Y/n: "Looks like we'll be sitting away from each other again"
Peter: "What? No, we'll sit at the back"
Y/n: "You sure your girlfriend wouldn't mind?"
Peter: "Yeah, I'm sure MJ will understand"
Flash: "Yo, what's up, Flash Mob? It's your boy, the Big F, cruising through the Alps with my private driver, Dimitri"
As the bus takes the scenic route to Prague, Y/n and Peter situated themselves to the back of the class as Peter began setting up a portable console.
Y/n: "Hey, since we're here. I figured I'd show you something"
Peter: "If hear so much as you fiddling with your belt, I'm gonna whip you with my controller"
Y/n: "Kinda gay, but I won't. It's these, got it from Tony"
Y/n then presented the case Nuck had given him. With anticipation, Peter went ahead and opened the case, revealing a pair of sunglasses.
Peter: "So I guess you can say, he's giving you shade?"
Y/n stares at Peter blankly.
Peter: "Sorry...but seriously, sunglasses?"
Y/n: "Maybe it's more than just sunglasses. It is Tony after all"
As Y/n puts on the glasses, Peter noticed a piece of paper inside of the case.
Peter: "Hey, Y/n. Check this out"
Y/n: "'Early retirement present. When you're ready Say E.D.I.T.H' ?"
After reading out the paper, the lenses shines around the rims as an automated voice could be heard from the glasses itself.
Glasses: "Stand by for retinal and biometric scan"
Y/n: "Yoooo, this is sick!"
Peter: "Why, what happened?"
E.D.I.T.H: "Retinal and biometric scan accepted. Hello, Y/n. I am E.D.I.T.H"
Y/n: "Cool~"
Peter: "Lemme see!"
Taking the glasses from Y/n's face, Peter puts it on himself, only to see through the glasses like normal.
Peter: "What's gotten you so freaked out about these? These look like normal glasses"
Y/n: "Hold on, you can't see it!?"
Swiping the glasses back, Y/n places the eyewear back on his face to show a H.U.D similar to his H.U.D in his spider mask.
Peter: "What do you see?"
Looking over at Peter, the glasses began to highlight his silhouette before popping up files and information pertaining to him.
Y/n: "Woah~!"
As Y/n goes to touch the file, from Peter's perspective it looked like Y/n is waving his hand around in the air.
Peter: "Dude, you look stupid right now"
Y/n: "These glasses are like Augmented Reality"
E.D.I.T.H: "That's correct. I'm Tony Stark's augmented-reality security and defense system. I have access to the entire Stark Global Security network, including multiple defense satellites, as well as back doors to all major telecommunication networks"
E.D.I.T.H then reveals to Y/n several profiles regarding everyone on board the vehicle, displaying text messages and their current search results.
Y/n: "Okay...this is definitely a bit overkill"
Just then a low growl can be heard from Y/n's pocket. Curious, Y/n pulls out his phone to see D.A.R.C on full display on his screen, replacing her calm blue color with a menacing red.
D.A.R.C: "I detected Stark's putrid little A.I!"
Peter: "I think D.A.R.C found out about E.D.I.T.H"
D.A.R.C: "E.D.I.T.H...so that's that little hussy's name"
Before Y/n could calm D.A.R.C down, Y/n sees a pop up notification appear with the sender being none other than Tony himself.
Curious, Y/n opens the message, revealing Tony in hologram form.
Tony's voice: "Hey, kid! If you're seeing this, that means E.D.I.T.H landed in your hands safely. I decided to make this for you last minute, seeing as you've changed the outcome of the fight with Thanos"
Tony then sighs as he rubs his face.
Tony's voice: "Even Dead, I'm The Hero. That's what E.D.I.T.H stands for. Now I'm assuming you're wondering why I named it that. Well, it's because...I was SUPPOSED to die when we fought Thanos back at the compound"
Y/n was shocked, eyes widened as disbelief struck him to the very core. Tony then continues.
Tony's voice: "Back on Titan, Strange told us that in...what, 14 million possibilities, only one of them is the one we win?"
Y/n: *mutters* "Something like that"
Tony's voice: "I don't know, something like that. Anyways, a few months after I wound back up on Earth, Rogers proposed a plan, at the time I thought it was stupid but to make a long story short, I invented Time travel"
Y/n: *scoffs* "Of course you did"
Tony then sighs again before scratching the back of his head.
Tony's voice: "I can't believe I'm saying this...but the reason I decided to humor Roger's idea, was because of YOU"
Y/n was then struck by another surprise, especially seeing Tony be so vulnerable.
Tony's voice: "God...you must be grinning ear to ear right now. Yeah, yeah, rub it in...I don't know the exact reason why, maybe it's guilt. But just remembering you fighting back on that planet, even when others looked to have already given up. YOU were the one that kept on fighting till the very end. And that inspired me to-"
Suddenly, Morgan appears in the video and hugged Tony's leg, prompting him to lean over and held Morgan in his arms.
Tony's voice: "Hey, Morgan"
Morgan's voice: "Whatcha doin'?"
Tony's voice: "I'm filming a little video for our friend"
Morgan's voice: "Is it for the guy that you brought back home who was passed out?"
Tony's voice: *chuckles* "Yep! The same one"
Morgan's voice: "Can I see it?"
Tony's voice: "It's not done. Plus you're not allowed to see it, only he can"
Morgan's voice: *pouts* "But why..."
Tony's voice: "Because I said so. Tell you what..."
Tony then sets Morgan down before crounching to her height.
Tony's voice: "Why don't you go bother mommy for a bit. And I promise I'll come play with you when I'm done"
Morgan's voice: "Okay!"
Morgan then runs off screen before hearing a loud thud shortly after.
Morgan's voice: *distant* "Shit!"
Y/n gasps as his mouth went agape hearing Morgan swear accidentally.
Tony's voice: "Hey! What did I say about using that word?"
Morgan's voice: "Sorry daddy!"
Tony's voice: "See that little headache that just appeared. I did that, I was the root cause. Where was I? Right, my supposed death...I shouldn't really be talking about that lightly. Look, the point is..."
Tony stood back up before walking closer, enlarging his silhouette in the hologram to show only his face. Allowing Y/n to see his raw emotion through his expression.
Tony's voice: "YOU inadvertently saved my life just as I was about to throw it away. Giving me the chance to finally hang up the suit and live a life I never dreamt of having so...Thank you"
Just as Tony were about to finish recording, he stops.
Tony's voice: "Oh! I saw that speech you made about me. It went viral on social media by the way. Gotta say, I was very moved by that, didn't think you had it in you"
Y/n: "Oh my god..."
Tony's voice: "Anyways, I better go before Morgan finds something she isn't supposed to...again. Bye, Spider-man"
Tony then ends the recording, causing the hologram to disappear, finally allowing Y/n to take off the glasses as he wipes away a few tears that manage to form.
Peter: "What did you see?"
Y/n: "Nothing... it's nothing, no need for you to get worried"
D.A.R.C: "So does that mean I can finally disimilate the program now?"
Y/n: "I think...just this once, I want to actually keep this one around"
D.A.R.C: *groans* "Fine..."
D.A.R.C then reverts Y/n's phone back to its normal state, leaving Y/n and Peter to sit by, slightly dumbfounded.
Peter: "So you still down to play Beast Slayer?"
Y/n: "Oh, absolutely!"
Their journey was put on hold as Dimitri pulls up to a local truck stop before opening the automatic doors and jumping off.
Dimitri: "Petrol and toilets. Ten minutes!"
Everyone then departs from the bus as they find a place to relieve themselves.
Flash: "Flash Mob, this is what we doing out here..."
Julius: "Toilet, toilet, toilet. Which way to the toilet?"
Harrington: "Ten minutes, everyone. Dimitri, where exactly are we?"
Dimitri stands still, not giving a single word
Harrington: "Okay. I'll figure it out"
Just as Y/n hops off to head to the bathroom, Dimitri placed a hand on his chest, stopping him.
Y/n: "What? A guy can't take a shit?"
Dimitri then merely point to a direction, leading Y/n's sights to spot a blonde woman beckoning him inside.
Following Dimitri's direction, Y/n walked to the room where he stood face to face with the blonde woman who appears to wear the same uniform as Dimitri.
Y/n: "So...Nick really did Hijack the school trip"
Blonde Agent: "Close the door"
Without a second thought, Y/n shoots a web to the door before giving it a quick tug, shutting the door.
Y/n: "Now what?"
Blonde Agent: "Take off your clothes"
Y/n: "...Say what?"
Blonde Agent: "Take. Off. Your clothes"
Y/n looks around the room before back to the agent.
Y/n: "Are we shooting a weird porno in here or-"
Without another word, the agent grabs Y/n by the collar before forcefully ripping his shirt open.
Y/n: "Woah, JESUS CHRIST!"
Grabbing the agent's hands, Y/n goes to pull them off of him, only for the agent to turn around and flip Y/n over her shoulder.
Catching himself in the air, Y/n lands on his feet before taking his turn to flip the agent over his shoulder. Having more success as the agent slams down on the ground, hard.
Y/n: "Look, lady. You seem nice, but at least learn my favorite color first!"
Right as Y/n goes to leave the room, the agent quickly turns around and grabs Y/n by the foot before tripping him over.
Now on the floor, Y/n begins to crawl as far away as possible, an effort proved fruitless as the agent had a firm grip on his foot.
With a forceful tug causing Y/n to slip on his sticky hands, the agent leaps forward before straddling Y/n's lap, pinning him to the floor.
Y/n: *panting* "Oh, this is such a confusing erection..."
Blonde Agent: *panting* "Fury ordered me to deliver you a new suit. Seeing as you've said you wouldn't want Spider-man to go international"
Y/n: "And you couldn't just lead with that?"
???: "Ahe-hem!!"
Hearing another person make their presence known, Y/n whips his head to look over the door and saw MJ with her hands on her hips with a stern glare pointed directly at him.
Y/n: "I can assure you...this is not what it looks like"
