The One With Senior Prank Night

347 20 0
By Kl4uss

It has been a little over twenty-four hours since Katherine, Damon, and Jeremy (with the help of Anna) began their trip to Charlotte to find Mikael, their secret weapon to defeat the original hybrid.

Emily rationally knew it hadn't been that long since the trio left and from the fact that Katherine promised she would call when she found Mikael but she and Elena both couldn't help but worry for them.

However, the Gilbert twins didn't exactly get the chance to worry too much since it was senior prank night, especially with best friends like theirs.

Emily and Elena had been anxiously pacing the living room of their childhood home with their cell phones glued to their palms. They were waiting for a text message back from either Katherine or Damon when the front door was suddenly busted open by their best friends.

The Radkova witch had tried to tell Caroline, Bonnie, and Tyler that they weren't in the headspace to enjoy senior prank night after she and Elena told the trio what was happening with Katherine, Damon, and Jeremy. But, of course, Caroline wouldn't hear any of it.

The Forbes vampire had reminded Emily and Elena how they were only going to experience senior prank night once in their life and how she didn't want them to regret it in the future.

After a couple more minutes of begging from the Forbes vampire, the group piled themselves into Caroline's car and Tyler's truck before they headed towards Mystic Falls High School.

By the time they reached the school, Caroline had gone over every single prank they were going to do tonight. The group of teenagers parked their cars behind the school before they grabbed four large duffle bags from Caroline's trunk and headed inside.

"Okay! First place is Mrs. Blinks' classroom!" The Forbes vampire announced while Tyler was handing out small flashlights to everyone.

They figured it would be best not to turn on the main lights of the school or the police station might get calls of someone breaking into the building.

"That crazy woman is getting mouse traps!" Caroline excitedly exclaimed as she rubbed her palms together like an evil villain.

Emily looked over to the blonde vampire in amusement. "What did Mrs. Blinks ever do to you?" The Radkova witch curiously asked as the group headed down the empty hallway.

"You've seen the type of homework packets she gives out!" Caroline reminded the Radkova witch. "No one should be getting that much homework for a creative writing class!" The Forbes vampire exclaimed.

"Alright, alright," the Bennett witch uttered with a chuckle before Caroline could go on a full rant about their teacher. "Let's hurry it up," Bonnie uttered as she opened the door to Mrs. Blinks' classroom before she stated, "we have a lot of traps to set out."

The group of the vampire, werewolf, human, and the two witches quickly got to work on their prank. They each grabbed a grocery bag filled of mouse traps before they began to set them all across the creative writing classroom.

There was zero talking as the group were all focused on setting the traps and not snapping their fingers in the process. The only light source was the ones coming from the five small flashlights with just enough light for the group to see in front of them.

The creative writing classroom was silent for a good forty minutes as they worked together like a factory line at a warehouse before the door was suddenly thrown open and the sound of multiple mouse traps bounced off the floor.

Emily quickly peeked her head up from her position underneath Mrs. Blinks' desk before she watched as the overhead lights flickered on and the culprit was revealed as Matt Donovan.

"Oh, come on!" Caroline whined as she stared down at the twenty or so ruined traps. The Forbes vampire moved her blue eyes up to Matt before she cried out, "do you know how long it took for us to set all this up!?"

The Lockwood werewolf chuckled as he carefully maneuvered around the classroom before he helped Emily up from the floor. "Forgot about senior prank night, huh?" Tyler asked the Donovan teenager with an amused smirk playing across his lips.

"Clearly," Matt huffed with his palm placed over his racing heart.

"How could you forget!?" The Forbes vampire screeched with her blue eyes widened in shock, "we've only been waiting for this since like freshman year!"

"Yeah, Matty," the Radkova witch murmured as she shot a smirk towards the Donovan teenager. "It's a momentous occasion!" Emily exclaimed in the same exaggerating voice that Caroline had used.

Matt shook his head in amusement at the Gilbert girl before he quickly furrowed his blue eyes as he moved his gaze at each face in the classroom. "I'm kind of surprised any of you are doing this," Matt admitted.

"Well, you don't exactly get a choice when you're best friends with Caroline Forbes," Emily joked as she walked over to the aforementioned vampire and wrapped her left arm around Caroline's waist.

"Hey!" The Forbes vampire exclaimed as she shoved Emily's chest to push her away. "We're about to be seniors!" Caroline exclaimed as she placed her hands onto her hips. "These are the memories that will stay with us forever," Caroline proclaimed, "and if we don't..."

"...And if we don't create these memories now, then what's the point of it all?" Elena finished the Forbes vampire's speech word for word with a playful grin playing on her lips.

It was the exact same speech that the Gilbert twins had gotten to convince them to leave the house tonight. It was definitely amusing to hear with Caroline's passionate tone but Elena understood the Forbes vampire's point.

"Go ahead and make fun of me," Caroline mumbled with a deep pout displayed across her face, "I don't care."

"Hey," Emily cooed as she rewrapped her left arm around the Forbes vampire's waist. "It's a really good speech," Emily assured her best friend.

"Thank you," Caroline murmured as she looked down to the Radkova witch with a happy and wide grin stretched on her pink lips.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Tyler muttered as he rolled his brown eyes. "Number one speech of the year," the Lockwood werewolf deadpanned.

"Enough chit-chat!" Tyler exclaimed as he clapped his hands together. "We have a lot more classes to prank," the Lockwood werewolf reminded the group.

Tyler walked over to his previous spot and picked up his duffle bag from the floor. The Lockwood werewolf tossed it over his shoulder before he turned to Emily. "You coming with?" Tyler asked as he held out his hand.

Emily shook her head as she released the Forbes vampire's waist before she maneuvered her way over to her twin sister. "We have Alaric to prank," the Radkova witch stated with a smirk.

"But I'll meet up with you later," Emily quickly swore when she noticed the Lockwood werewolf's pout, "I promise."

"Fine," Tyler muttered before he crossed the classroom and headed over to the Gilbert twins. Tyler leaned down and placed a short kiss onto Emily's temple. "I'll see you in a bit," the Lockwood werewolf promised before he exited the creative writing classroom with his duffle bag.

"So, what's our plan for Ric?" Elena curiously asked as she turned to look over to her twin sister.

"Hmm..." Emily mumbled as she tapped her index finger against her chin. "I don't know," the Radkova witch admitted after a few seconds of thinking before Emily stated, "but I'm sure we can figure something out to make his first day harder than necessary."

Elena giggled as she shook her head in amusement. The human doppelganger held up her hand before the sisters high-fived one another. "Let's do it!" Elena exclaimed.

Emily grinned as she linked her arm through her twin sister's before she turned to her fellow witch. "You coming, Bon?" The Radkova witch inquired. Emily shot the Forbes vampire a teasing smirk before she added, "we have memories to make."

"Yes! That's my girl!" Caroline excitedly exclaimed as she pointed her index finger at the Radkova witch, "I knew I could count on you!"

The quarlet of best friends shared a series of chuckles before Bonnie focused back onto the Gilbert twins. "I'll let you guys have your fun," Bonnie uttered before she shot the Donovan teenager, who still stood at the entrance of the classroom, a teasing grin. "I'm going to make sure Matt gets some pranks in," Bonnie stated.

Emily nodded her head in understanding. "We'll meet up later," the Radkova witch promised to her two best friends before she pulled Elena with her to leave the creative writing classroom.

Emily and Elena walked down the hallway in a comfortable silence before the human girl let out a giggle. "How did we even get roped into this?" Elena asked her twin sister.

"Hey, come on," Emily muttered as she bumped her hip into her twin sister's hip. "It's fun!" The Radkova witch exclaimed.

"We get to prank our teachers while also getting away with it," Emily reminded her twin sister. The Radkova witch looked over to Elena with her right eyebrow raised before she wondered with a grin, "what's there not to love?"

"I guess," Elena muttered as she lightly shrugged her shoulders. The Gilbert girl thought it over for a second before she commented, "this could be our only chance in pranking Ric without him knowing it was us."

"Exactly!" Emily exclaimed. "If Ric knew we were pranking him, then he would definitely get us in trouble with Jenna," the Radkova witch reminded Elena. "This way, he will have no idea and we get the chance to laugh at him!" Emily proclaimed.

Elena giggled. "Alright, alright," the Gilbert girl murmured before she stated, "I see the appeal now."

"Good," the Radkova witch murmured with a grin as she squeezed Elena's arm. "Now, come on. We have work to do," Emily stated before she pushed on the double doors that would lead to the History hallway.

The Gilbert twins were all smiles as they walked over the threshold and turned the corner. However, the happiness immediately disappeared when Emily and Elena came face to face with the original hybrid.

"There's my girls," Klaus murmured with a wide and devious smirk displayed across his lips.

Elena's brown eyes widened as she tightly grabbed ahold of her twin sister's arm. "Klaus!" The Gilbert girl gasped.

Emily felt like her heart was going to be beat out of her chest as she stared into the original hybrid's blue-green eyes. However, Emily refused to show fear to the man, who had terrorized her loved ones every chance he got.

Emily slowly released Elena's arm before she moved to block the original hybrid from staring at her twin sister. "Elena, leave," the Radkova witch ordered as she glared at the man in front of her, "go find Bonnie now."

Thankfully, Elena had enough sense to not argue with Emily like she usually would at thought of leaving her sister alone. Instead, the human girl quickly turned around, pushed on the double doors, before she ran down the hallway as fast as she could.

Klaus lightly chuckled as he took a step closer before he was hovering over the the eldest Gilbert girl. "Good thing I don't need two doppelgangers or I wouldn't be very happy right now," Klaus muttered.

"Good thing I didn't ask," Emily snarked as she kept her glare locked onto the original hybrid.

If Emily was being honest right now, she was deathly afraid of being in the same room as Klaus again after the sacrifice. However, Emily refused to show how scared she was. Emily refused to show weakness in front of Klaus. The Radkova witch just hoped it didn't come back to bite her in the ass.

Klaus let out a tsking sound as he shook his head. "There's no need to be so hostile, sunflower," the original hybrid taunted as he slowly slithered his palm up to Emily's cheek.

Klaus tightly gripped the back of the Gilbert girl's neck before he stated, "while I am quite surprised to see you alive, I do have a question."

The Radkova witch tried her best to get out of Klaus' tight hold. However, Emily was having no such luck when the original hybrid was so much older and stronger than her. Emily knew she could have used her magic to get away from Klaus but she didn't think it would be a smart idea to let Klaus know she was a Radkova witch.

Emily gave on up on fighting after realizing she wasn't getting anywhere. Instead, the Radkova witch clinched her teeth together as she asked, "what is it?"

"That sister of yours," Klaus began as he nodded his head towards the door that the aforementioned girl had escaped from. "I couldn't help but notice she's human again," Klaus mentioned before he recalled, "and If I remember correctly, she was a vampire the last time we met."

"Is there a question coming anytime soon?" Emily deadpanned.

Klaus released a light but deep chuckle. The original hybrid would usually not let people talk to him in the way Emily was doing but Klaus found it quite amusing coming from the girl, who radiated sunshine and hope.

"Well, you see, coming back to life is a feat in its self but coming back from a vampire to a human is something else entirely," Klaus told the Gilbert girl.

"I know your friend, Bonnie, isn't strong enough to do a spell like that," Klaus commented as he shook his head before he stated, "or she would be dead right now." The original lifted up his left eyebrow before he inquired, "so, it begs the question, who did it?"

"It was a miracle," Emily exclaimed in a exaggerating voice with a wide smirk playing on her lips. "A work of God if I say so myself," Emily murmured.

"Charming as always," Klaus sarcastically muttered.

"It's my specialty," Emily murmured as she shot the original hybrid a mocking grin.

"I'm sure," Klaus deadpanned. "It doesn't matter," the original hybrid uttered with his own grin before he vowed, "I'll find ut the truth in due time." Klaus slowly slid his hand down Emily's neck to her elbow as he proclaimed, "but for now, we have other business to attend to."

The original hybrid tightly held onto Emily's arm before he began to lead her down the hallway with quick and long footsteps. "You know, the whole point of breaking the curse and becoming a hybrid was to make more hybrids," Klaus informed the Gilbert girl before he let out an annoyed huff. "But I haven't been able to do that," Klaus growled.

The original hybrid painfully tightened his hold onto Emily's arm to show his anger before Klaus muttered, "and I'm pretty sure you and your sister are the reason for that."

"Leave Elena out of this," Emily snarled as she looked over to the original hybrid with a glare to her green eyes. "You only need me," the Radkova witch told Klaus as she silently prayed that it would be enough to keep her twin sister safe from Klaus' wrath.

"While I hate agreeing with humans, I have a feeling you may be right," Klaus admitted before he stated, "but I'm keeping my options open." The original hybrid pulled Emily to a stop in front of a set of doors before he turned to the Gilbert girl with a wide smirk. "For now, we're going to have some fun," Klaus exclaimed.

Emily's green eyes quickly widened in a sense of panic when the original hybrid led her into the gym and she saw that it was packed with at least ten students, who were innocently setting up paper cups around the room for their contribution to senior prank night.

This was not good at all. Emily was already trying to keep her family and friends safe from the original hybrid. The last thing the Radkova witch wanted was for these human teenagers to get wrapped into Klaus' mess.

"Attention, seniors!" Klaus proclaimed in an American accent as he led the Gilbert girl into the gym with his hand still tightly holding her close. "You have officially been busted!" Klaus shouted as he looked around the gym at each teenager before he told them, "prank night is over. If you head home now, your records may stay clean."

The Radkova witch let out a sigh of relief when she noticed the students believing Klaus' lie as they began to file out of the gym. However, the relief was cut short when Emily noticed Dana. It was the decade dance all over again.

"You two!" Klaus exclaimed in his regular English accent when he suddenly recognized two faces in the crowd of humans. "I remember you," Klaus murmured as he pointed his index and middle fingers at the two teenagers.

Dana furrowed her brows in confusion as she turned around and looked at the dirty blonde haired man. "I'm sorry," the brunette girl apologized before she asked, "who are you?"

"Oh, don't worry," Klaus assured the human teenager as he carelessly waved his free hand in the air. "I wasn't in my right head last time we met," the original hybrid muttered with a playful smirk displayed across his pink tinted lips.

Klaus forced the Gilbert girl to walk with him as he took a couple steps closer towards Dana. The original hybrid connected his blue-green eyes with the human girl's brown ones before he compelled her, "lift your foot up, please, Dana."

Klaus widely grinned as he watched the brunette girl lift up her left foot before he turned his attention onto the boy beside her. "If she drops her foot, Chad, I want you to beat her to death," Klaus compelled the second human before he confirmed, "understood?"

"Klaus, stop!" The Radkova witch begged as she roughly tried once more to pull her arm away from the original hybrid's tight grasp. "They don't deserve this!" Emily cried out, "you don't have to involve them. You don't have to hurt innocent people."

"Oh, come on, sunflower," Klaus muttered as he released the Gilbert girl's arm before he turned to face her with a wide smirk. "Of course I do," Klaus exclaimed before the original hybrid bragged, "it's in my nature!"

"No," Emily mumbled as she shook her head before she uttered as she glared at the original hybrid, "I think that's called being a psychopath."

The Radkova witch ignored Klaus' cocky face as she walked around him before Emily quickly moved in front of the two innocent humans. "It's okay, Dana," the Radkova witch softly murmured as she tried to comfort the girl, who was struggling to keep herself up on one foot.

Emily was about to reach out to help hold the human girl's leg up before the original hybrid suddenly used his enhanced speed to pull her away from Dana and pull Emily roughly against his chest.

"Did you really think it would be that easy, sunflower?" Klaus taunted with his lips lightly touching the Gilbert girl's right ear.

The Radkova witch used all of her strength to pull herself out of Klaus' arms before she swiftly turned around to glare at the original hybrid. "Don't do that," Emily snarled.

Emily took a couple extra steps away from the original hybrid, was was smirking at her, as a precaution, so he wouldn't grab her again.

The Radkova witch knew she needed to distract Klaus in some way, at least until she gave Elena enough time for her to get everyone out of the high school or at least to warn them. If they could just stay alive until Katherine returned back with Mikael, then they would be in the clear.

"Where's Stefan?" The Radkova witch curiously inquired as she crossed her arms over her chest.

While Emily would rather not have to think about her ex-boyfriend, the Gilbert girl knew it was really the only type of conversation she could carry with the original hybrid.

"Did you guys have a fight?" Emily taunted.

"Cute," Klaus muttered as he shot the Gilbert girl a smirk. "But no," the original hybrid uttered as he shook his head. "Stefan's just in a little time out," Klaus stated.

"Why?" Emily asked as she twitched her head to the side. "Did he not like following orders or did he finally grow bored of you?" The Radkova witch continued to egg on the original hybrid.

However, before the back and forth could continue between the hybrid and the witch, the gym doors were suddenly thrown open by a grinning Bonnie Bennett and Matt Donovan.

Emily's green eyes quickly widened as her heartbeat sped up at the sight of her fellow witch. It meant that Elena didn't find Bonnie in time. That fact made Emily worry even more about her twin sister. The one big question on Emily's mind was if Elena didn't tell Bonnie what was happening, then where was Elena?

The Radkova witch quickly forced that thought out of her mind for now as she focused on her two friends, who were possibly in danger with Klaus being so close to them. "Bonnie, Matt! Run now!" Emily shouted.

The Bennett witch barely had time to understand that Klaus was back in Mystic Falls before the original hybrid used his enhanced speed to move to stand in front of her.

"Ah, I was wondering when you'd show up," Klaus murmured with a smirk widely displayed across his face. "Now, we can get started," the original vampire exclaimed as he brought his palms together for a crackling clap.

Klaus turned around before he looked over to his two compelled seniors. "Dana, why don't you relax?" The original vampire suggested before Klaus ordered, "you and Chad sit tight."

The Radkova witch felt a sliver of relief enter her body as she watched Dana safely place her foot back onto the ground before the two innocent humans comforted one another. At least now, Klaus wasn't focused on hurting them anymore.

Klaus brought his attention back to the Bennett witch with a curious look in his blue-green eyes. "I assume you're the reason why Emily's still walking around alive?" The original hybrid inquired.

"That's right," Bonnie lied as she confidently crossed her arms over the chest. While the Bennett witch wasn't the one to bring Emily back to life, she figured it would be best to just agree with the original hybrid. It was better than for him to find out the truth.

"And Elena?" Klaus curiously asked as he took a step closer towards the Bennett witch, "how is she human?"

"I did it," Bonnie uttered as she lied straight through her teeth once more.

Bonnie knew their group of friends never talked about it but the Bennett witch figured it was probably for the best to not let Klaus know about the magic pulsing through Emily's veins.

"If you want to blame someone," Bonnie muttered as she glared at the original hybrid before she exclaimed, "blame me."

Klaus rolled his blue-green eyes at the young witch. "Why must you lie to me, love?" Klaus inquired as he closed the distance between himself and the Bennett witch. "How is she human?" The original hybrid slowly and threateningly asked as he glared down at Bonnie.

The Radkova witch knew this was another instance where she needed to distract Klaus. This time because of his questioning about Elena and how she was back to being human. Emily could not have Klaus finding out the truth or he would find out about her true nature.

Emily hurriedly jogged over to the faceoff between the hybrid and her fellow witch before she exclaimed, "who cares!" The Gilbert girl waited for Klaus to look to her before she reminded him, "you said it yourself, you only need one doppelganger and you have me."

The original hybrid looked down at Emily with a grin. "Yes, of course, sunflower," Klaus murmured as if the Gilbert girl had reminded him of his ultimate goal.

Honestly, Klaus was just curious about how Elena had returned back to being a human after dying as a vampire. Klaus had only heard stories from his mother of a witch being that powerful to perform a spell that difficult.

The original vampire didn't really care but as a former witch, he was interested in who could possible perform that spell. Klaus knew there wasn't any witches in Mystic Falls besides Bonnie, so he was puzzled on who the group had been contacting.

"Anyway," Klaus began as he focused his attention back onto the Bennett witch. "Your witchy interference seemed to have caused some undesirable side affects," the original hybrid informed Bonnie before he told her with a tight smile, "and since you caused the problem, I'm going to have you find the fix."

The Bennett witch didn't even get the chance to refuse to help Klaus before the doors to the gym were suddenly thrown open. A gasp quickly left the two witches' mouths when they saw a blonde girl pulling Elena and Tyler with her.

"Lena!" The Radkova witch exclaimed after she watched as the blonde girl tossed Elena to the side. Emily didn't even think twice before she was sprinting over to her twin sister.

The Radkova witch quickly slid down to her knees in front of Elena. "Are you okay?" Emily worriedly asked as she helped the human girl to sit up before she brushed Elena's brunette hair out of her face.

Elena nodded her head before she looked into her sister's green eyes with tears in her brown ones. "I'm sorry," the human doppelganger croaked before she whispered, "I tried to find Bonnie but that girl grabbed me before I could."

"Shhh, it's okay," Emily assured her twin sister as she pulled Elena against her chest for a tight embrace. While the Radkova witch wished Elena would have at least gotten out of here, Emily was just glad her twin sister wasn't seriously hurt.

The Gilbert twins' embrace quickly ended when Tyler's loud and frightened voice bounced off the walls of the gym when he shouted, "get off of me!"

"Hush now," the blonde girl, Rebekah, ordered the Lockwood werewolf as she continued to drag him over to the original hybrid.

"Tyler," the Radkova witch gasped as she quickly remembered that her bestfriend was in danger as well. Emily had been so focused on protecting her twin sister that she got forgotten about the Lockwood werewolf.

The Radkova witch quickly stood up from the ground with her fingers tightly squeezing Elena's hand before Emily ran over to the group that surrounded Klaus.

"I'd like you all to meet my sister, Rebekah," the original hybrid proclaimed as he pointed his hand over towards the blonde girl. Klaus glanced around at each face in the gym with a smirk before he whispered as if he was telling a huge secret, "word of warning, she can be quite mean."

Rebekah roughly pushed the werewolf into her brother's arms. "Don't be an ass," the original vampire snarled as she glared her blue eyes at Klaus' green-blue ones.

Emily usually would have said something snarking at the fact that there was another original in Mystic Falls but she had more pressing matters to worry about like her best friend.

"Don't touch him!" Emily shouted as she scowled at the original hybrid.

While the Radkova witch would have loved to pull Tyler away from Klaus, Emily knew she had her twin sister to think about and protect. The Radkova witch refused to let go of Elena's hand incase either of the originals tried to hurt her. Emily could only hope and pray that her best friend would be okay.

Klaus ignored his doppelganger's yelling as he pulled the Lockwood werewolf across the gym. "I'm going to make this very simple," Klaus exclaimed as he turned around to face the group of the twins, the witch, and his sister.

"Every time I attempt to turn a werewolf into a vampire hybrid, they die during the transition," Klaus informed the Bennett witch. "It's quite horrible, actually," Klaus murmured.

The original hybrid brought the hand that wasn't holding Tyler up to his mouth before he tore the skin with his fangs. Klaus watched the blood flow before he roughly slammed his wrist onto the werewolf's mouth.

"No, stop!" The Radkova witch screeched while she tried to keep Elena hidden behind her back.

Emily knew exactly what Klaus was going to do. Klaus was going to turn Tyler into a hybrid to force Bonnie tp find the reason why his hybrids weren't surviving.

This was bad, so very bad. Emily had seen first hand how badly Klaus' hybrids turned out. The last thing Emily wanted was for that to happen to her best friend.

"Don't even think about it!" Rebekah snarled before she used her enhanced speed to tightly grip the elder Gilbert girl's arm to stop Emily from taking a step forward.

Rebekah didn't really care what any of the humans did but Rebekah honestly couldn't be bothered to hear her brother's complaining if his whole show of turning the werewolf to hybrid got ruined.

"I need you to find a way to save my hybrids, Bonnie," Klaus ordered as he focused his blue-green gaze solely onto the Bennett witch.

Klaus silently moved around Tyler's body before Klaus slithered his right hand over the Lockwood werewolf's face. "For Tyler's sake, you better hurry," Klaus uttered before he swiftly twisted Tyler's neck.

A loud gasp escaped from Emily's lips as she watched as her best friend's body carelessly fell down to the ground. The Radkova witch forced herself out of Rebekah's grasp, who didn't put up much of a fight, before Emily ran to the Lockwood werewolf's side.

"No, no, no!" The Radkova witch cried out as she dropped down beside Tyler's body. Emily felt tears swell up in her green eyes as she shakily brought her hand up to the Lockwood werewolf's face.

"I'm so sorry, Ty," the Radkova witch whispered as she wiped the hybrid's blood from Tyler's face. "I'm sorry I didn't protect you," Emily apologetically sobbed.

Emily leaned her head down until her temple was resting against the Lockwood werewolf's chest. "Please be okay," the Gilbert girl desperately begged as she spoke only to her best friend, "please don't leave me."

The Radkova witch could care less about being strong in front of Klaus anymore when Tyler's life was on the line. Emily, of course, knew Tyler's death wasn't forever and that he would wake back up. Emily was more worried about what came after.

The Radkova witch was a thousand percent afraid of what will happen once Tyler opens his brown eyes. Emily knew how Klaus' hybrids were after their transformation from what she had seen in the Great Smoky Mountains. The hybrids would become rabid and psychotic.

Emily felt so guilty as she stared down at her best friend's dead body. The Radkova witch wished she could have done something more to protect him from this fate. Emily hated the fact that she just stood there all because she didn't want Klaus to find out about her being a witch.

Rationally, Emily knew if she would have tried to use her magic on Klaus, his sister, Rebekah, would have killed her before she could do anything. It wasn't like Emily would have even been able to save the Lockwood werewolf, anyway. It was just the thought that Emily just stood there and did absolutely nothing to stop it.

The only thing the Gilbert girl could do now was to hope that Bonnie would be able to find out why Klaus' hybrids weren't surviving. If the Bennett witch could find that out, then Tyler would be okay. Tyler may be essentially one of Klaus' hybrids but at least he would still be alive.

Worst comes to worst, Emily would have to reveal her biggest secret to Klaus if it meant being able to save her best friend's life.
