Gwen: "Hmmm~ I'm so glad you came~"
Y/n: "Oh my god, Phrasing"
Gwen: "Now I get to devour you~, enjoy every morsel of your body~"
Y/n: "Okay, this is getting to kinky. Even for me!"
Propping his feet over Gwen's chest, Y/n rolls over the console and kicks Gwen away, sending her skidding across the server room platform.
Gwen: *groan* "That's no way to treat your darling isn't it?"
Y/n: "I guess that symbiote's really getting to your head, Gwen"
Gwen: "Oh, on the contrary..."
The symbiote then wraps itself over Gwen's face to act as her mask.
Gwen: *distorted* "We'Re, In Full Control"
Gwen then lunges at Y/n, forming large talon-like claws and swiping it across his chest. This prompted Y/n to dive to the side to dodge the attack before performing a web-strike to counterattack.
After closing the distance, Y/n unleashed a flurry of combos to Gwen's back before jumping back to dodge a slash from Gwen's claws.
Gwen: "That's no way to treat a loving girlfriend"
Y/n: "You have no right to call yourself that..."
Seeing Gwen conjure a blade as her arm, she swipes the blade across the room, extending its range thanks to its symbiotic capabilities.
Y/n manages to move out of the way just in time, as the slash tears a hole into the wall behind him.
With the blade remained extended, Y/n pulled two pieces of metal towards him.
Y/n: "Okay, don't think I forgot how to deal with you!"
With the pieces of metal in each hand, Y/n slammed the metal against each other, creating a loud Sonic blast towards Gwen.
Only to have no effect
Y/n: "Huh...Well...Shit"
Seeing Gwen begin to rapidly pull her arm back towards her, Y/n backflips instinctively to dodge the oncoming attack.
Y/n: "Okay, what the hell is going on?"
D.A.R.C: "The symbiote seemed to have adapted to its weakness against sonic frequencies"
Y/n: "They can do that!?"
Y/n performed a web-strike and punches Gwen across the face. Amidst their battle, Y/n slowly began to tear away at the symbiote, with bits and pieces of it sprawled across the server room.
Y/n: "You can stop this now Gwen. Fight this, so we can take down whoever's taking control of the city"
???'s voice: "Trust me. She can't"
Y/n looked around and saw a P.A system inside the server room along with a camera pointed directly at him.
Y/n: "Yeah. Like I'll trust the disembodied voice that is also the head of a terrorist organization that's hell bent on killing me"
???'s voice: "I do not plan on killing you. I merely want to experiment on you to learn the source of your power"
Y/n: "Then let me just spoil it for you. It came from a radioactive spider, that I squashed years ago"
???'s voice: "Don't you worry, I'll get what I want. One way or the other"
Y/n: "And how do you plan on doing that?"
???'s voice: "By stalling"
Confused, Y/n turns back to Gwen who's starting to regenerate by gathering all the loose pieces of the symbiote towards her.
Y/n: "Oh, hell no!"
Webbing Gwen's upper body, Y/n began to pull her away to disrupt her regeneration. After pulling her off the ground, Y/n began spinning around, building momentum before letting go of the web and sending Gwen flying towards the torn up wall.
Thinking Gwen would recover quickly, Y/n zipped to the now larger hole in the wall.
Y/n: "Hello? Gwen?"
Stepping through, Y/n saw that he was now in a storage room.
Y/n: *scoff* "Hey, disembodied voice. Looks like you were wrong!"
???'s voice: "You are blissfully ignorant in only the first encounter"
Y/n began walking through the storage room, looking for any sign of Gwen.
Y/n: "All I'm saying, I'm still standing and she's nowhere in sight so...IN YOUR FACE!!!"
???'s voice: "Hmm...Hardly"
With the P.A system shutting off, Y/n had finally checked every area of the storage room and is now standing in the center.
Y/n: "I wonder what she meant by that? *shrug* Whatever, I better head back to MJ. Then we can finally get out of here"
Gwen: "Oh, you're not going anywhere~"
Y/n: "!!?"
All of a sudden, Y/n was ensnared by several tentacles, each wrapping around his limbs while the rest wrapped around his neck and chest.
He was then hit with a sense of depletion, feeling his strength rapidly slip away.
Gwen: "Bare with this, Y/n. In a few moments I'll finally cure you"
Y/n: *groan* "Go...cure...yourself!"
Y/n manages to break free from from Gwen's hold, leading him to drop to the floor, on his knees. His suit torn into segments, and his strength seemingly drained away from him.
Y/n: *pant* "D.A.R.C, what the fuck just happened?"
D.A.R.C: "Radioactive levels in your bloodstream seems to have dropped significantly"
Y/n: *pant* "So that's what she meant by 'cure'"
Pushing himself to his feet, Y/n did his best to shake off the exhaustion. Assuming a drunken-like stance, feet shaking to try and hold his weight, arms getting heavier by the second, vision blurring.
Y/n: "Looks like...I'll have to beat the sense back into you"
Gwen chuckles madly before conjuring his talon claws.
Y/n *sigh* "Fuck my life..."
The fight continues, Y/n manages to stay on his toes throughout the fight, dodging and ducking Gwen's attacks before retaliating with his own flurry of punches and kicks.
As they continue to brawl, however, Y/n could feel his strength slip further and further away from him whilst Gwen's strength remain at her peak.
Y/n: "This must be what it feels like for every inadequate male in the bedroom...it's not a good time"
Gwen: "Tired already? But I'm just starting to have fun~"
Y/n: "Not...HELPING!"
In his exhausted state, Y/n was unable to dodge the flurry of tentacles that shot out of Gwen, snaring him once again.
Y/n: "Damnit, not again!"
Instead of draining Y/n like she had done previously, Gwen hurls him to the wall, with strength enough for Y/n to crash through the facility and land in the open part of the outpost.
Hearing the commotion, several S.I.L.K Mercenaries swarm the area, guns trained on the laying hero while Gwen arrived just seconds later.
S.I.L.K Mercenary: "Holy crap!"
S.I.L.K Mercenary #2: "Focus!"
With the last shred of will power he have in his body, Y/n begins to crawl away from Gwen as she slowly closes the gap.
Y/n: *groan* "D.A.R.C, start a draft for me will ya?"
Gwen begins to conjure tentacles from her body and slowly sends it over towards Y/n.
Y/n: "Write, everything that he means to me...and to burn my setup. Wouldn't want them to find what's on my computer history"
D.A.R.C: "Should I read some out as you await your impending demise?"
Y/n: "HELL NO!"
Y/n then felt the tentacles wrap around his feet and starts to drag him towards Gwen.
???'s voice: "Try not to drain his power too much. Wouldn't be much use to me without even an ounce of his power"
Y/n heard a P.A system from above as a spotlight shunned onto the two of them that's being accompanied by the sound of a helicopter engine.
Y/n: *groan* "Damnit Gwen, snap out of it!"
Gwen: "Aww...don't try and fight it Y/n~"
The tentacles then multiplied, wrapping around Y/n once again and pulls him close to Gwen's body.
Gwen: "Isn't this great, Y/n?"
Y/n's vision starts to get covered by the tentacles as he's slowly engulfed inside Gwen.
Gwen: "We can finally be together again~"
With his vision fully enveloped in darkness, Y/n had seemed to finally accept his fate.
"As if that'll ever happen!"
Suddenly, Gwen felt resistance inside the symbiote, ripping and tearing through her insides until a hand burst out of Gwen's chest.
The hand then aims randomly in the air before shooting a string of web from his web-shooters. The web manages to stick onto the propeller of a helicopter that's in the air, dragging Y/n out of his captor.
With a firm grasp on his web, Y/n rode his web around the helicopter, swinging him around before redirecting him back to Gwen to deliver a mighty hook across the face, with strength that he manages to unleash ten times greater than his normal punch, sending Gwen flying into an armored SUV.
Y/n: "I'm done holding everything in Gwen"
The mercenaries quickly turn towards Y/n. Shocked. As they saw a black substance slowly envelope his suit.
Y/n: "I'll tear that suit CLEAN OFF if I have to!!"
Feeling his strength increase tenfold, Y/n web-strike towards Gwen, but Gwen was sent soaring out of the stronghold just as he lands the attack.
Without relenting, Y/n zips to a railing and points launched after Gwen. They battled across the city, Y/n began tearing through billboards and water towers, bombarding Gwen with punches that carried all his pent up anger.
Y/n: "Why do this Gwen!?"
Y/n throws Gwen through a commercial building before zipping to the shattered window and running up to her.
Y/n: "I thought you could be better than this!"
Just as Gwen recovered from the throw, Y/n delivered a punch across Gwen's face before grabbing her by the throat and slamming her to the ground, knocking the wind out of her lungs.
As she bounced from the ground, Y/n zips to the ceiling before slamming his body down onto Gwen, sending the both of them crashing through floors until they manage to reach the underground parking lot.
When the dust settled, Y/n could be seen standing over the now wounded and laying on the floor, with the symbiote sprawled across the ground underneath her.
The black symbiote starts to retract from Y/n's suit, disappearing from sight as he approached Gwen.
Y/n: "Gwen, I know this isn't you...I refuse to believe it. Fight it, Gwen. If not for me, then for this city"
Gwen: *groan* "..."
Y/n quickly drops to a stance, thinking Gwen could still be influenced by the symbiote.
Gwen: *groan* "You give one heck of a punch when you're angry"
Hearing Gwen's witty remark, Y/n let out a sigh of relief. He goes over and quickly wrapped Gwen's arm over his shoulder.
Gwen: "You came..."
Y/n: "Of course...why wouldn't I?"
Seeing Gwen beaten caused every trace of resentment to wash away, leaving him worried and concerned about her safety.
Gwen: "Y/n...I...I"
(~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~)
Out of nowhere Gwen pushed Y/n away before recoiling in pain.
Gwen: "GRAAAAAAGH!!!!"
Y/n: "Gwen!"
Gwen: "No! St-stay back!"
Gwen began holding her head, her cries of pain continues to bellow out. From the sidelines, Y/n saw that the symbiote begins to consume Gwen once more.
Y/n: "No! You have to fight it Gwen!"
Gwen: *grits teeth* "I don't think...I can!"
As Y/n stands to help her, three red nodes appear on Gwen's body.
Y/n: "That's..."
Gwen: *groan* "Y/n, there's something I have to tell you..."
Y/n: "Save your thanks AFTER I save you"
Acting quickly, Y/n goes to web up one of the nodes, only for the symbiote to fully wrap around it.
Y/n: "No!"
y/n tries to go for another node, only to have it wrapped by the symbiote as well.
Gwen: "Y/n, please!"
Y/n: "No! Just...shut up for a second"
Y/n tries to go for the last node and managed to stick a web to it, but the symbiote was close to fully engulfing Gwen's entire body.
Gwen: "Y/n...thank you"
Y/n: "Gwen, I just got you back. I can save you"
Gwen: "The night on Manhattan Bridge ...is the most romantic thing anyone has done for me"
The web then detaches from the node thanks to the symbiote and is close to assimilating its host.
Y/n: "Gwen!"
Tears start to flow from Y/n's eyes as he watched Gwen's face get enveloped by the symbiote.
Gwen: "I...l-lo-"
The mask then pulled over Gwen's face as the face of the symbiote now appeared before Y/n.
Y/n: "You Bastard!"
The symbiote then appeared around Y/n's suit once again just as he dashed towards Gwen. When Y/n lunged to deliver a blow to the symbiote, an implosion occurred underneath Gwen, sending her to the sewer levels of the building.
This caused Y/n to miss his mark and tumbled across the parking lot. Once he regained his bearings, Y/n looked back to where he last saw Gwen, only for a sai to redirect his attention.
Y/n: "Raphael? A long way from your brothers. Unless it's Michaelangelo, in which case I'm sorry for your loss"
Y/n's witty remark was met with the sound of a stick tapping in the shadows. A glint then shined through the darkness and Y/n quickly felt a slash across his body before feeling something hit him at the back of his head.
This caused Y/n to slowly drift off, dropping to the ground as his consciousness begins to slip. Before fluttering his eyes shut, Y/n saw a pair of red bottom leather shoes along with what looked to be...
A walking stick

Birthday! Today's my birthday. Just wanna let everyone know that.
Also, as of writing this chapter, I had watched Across the Spider-verse and I gotta say...definitely worth the 5 year wait. Gonna watch it for the second time no doubt
