Sachi's Pov
I was waiting for the alarm to ring. As soon as the alarm went off, I got up and went to the washroom. I couldn't sleep all night. It hurts when someone says this kind of words but he is not someone but my husband whom I love. I don't know now how to face everyone downstairs. Thinking this, I walked out of the washroom.
Now when I looked at my room cause I was very tired yesterday to even look at my or our room, it's pretty big and grey in color. It smelled like him. His photo was placed on the bedside table. I smiled looking at his picture.

Suddenly I remembered his words that he said to me yesterday and my eyes started getting teary. I pressed my lips together so that my tears shouldn't come out. Sachi, control your tears they should not come out in front of him. I said it in my mind. I turned and checked myself again in the mirror. I wiped my tears with my hand and put on a fake smile on my face. I closed the door and went downstairs.
When I went down, all the workers were running around here and there because of their work and I heard my MIL's voice ordering everyone from kitchen. I directly went to the kitchen. Looking at me Maa smiled and said "Why did you wake up so early? Did all this noise wake you guys up?"
I don't know what to say because he was not in our room and I don't even know in which room he is and where he went last night with luggage.
I said with fake smile "No no it's not like that ma I am used to waking up early at morning"
"Really, then it's really good because Sanjh does not wake up early in the morning" she said with genuine smile.
I just gave her a fake smile and asked "Maa, can I help you?"
She said "NO you can't because you haven't had your Pehli Rasoyi (First kitchen this is a Indian rituals) yet" I just nodded agreeing with her.
Suddenly she asked me a question, which I didn't want to answer "Sachi, have you packed your things?"
I don't know what to answer. I was thinking for some excuse and about to say something when a powerful male voice echoed saying "She is not coming with me. She is staying here with you all Maa."
He said gaining everyone's attention. I was stunned, he was looking too handsome with just jeans and t-shirt. He was coming downstair with his luggage. After hearing his words Maa came to dining room and said "Sanjh why are you joking?"
"I'm not joking Maa. You can ask her. I told her about this last night and the way you and dad said I'm not going there for a year or 2 years. I'm just shifting our work place. Maa I'm just going for 3 months. I can manage." He said explaining to Maa.
But she didn't want to understand him and said "What are you talking Sanjh? I know it's just 3 months but these 3 months will be like 3 years for Sachi" she completed looking at me.
I just looked down. I controlled my tears and looked at Maa with my red eyes and said "It's okey Maa it's just 3 months, I can handle it. We both agree with this."
"If this is the final decision of both of you, then what can I say about it?" Maa said and she looked at us angrily, she went to her room.
He looked at me angrily like I said something wrong. Shaking his head negatively, he took blessings from dad and hugging his siblings he left for the airport.
I didn't have to talk with anyone and didn't want to answer anyone's question, so controlling my tears I left from that place as fast as I can. I entered my room and locked the door. I didn't want anyone to see me like this. Loving him hurts before but now loving him hurts more because he is not just my teenage crush but he is also my husband now. Thinking this my tears made their way to my cheeks and I burst in tears still thinking how will I live in these 3 months? I said to Maa I can manage but honestly I can't even breathe in this room.
He said to give him some time. I will give you whatever you want Mr. Sanjh Rajvanshi. I am not giving up on you so easily this time. I would have gave up on you before easily cause of dad, I think he will never understand my feelings for you and you also don't love me but now it's all different cause I have rights on you as a wife. Don't cry Sachi this time you need to be strong not a cry baby. Thinking this I don't know when I fell asleep on floor.
After 15 days
In those 15 days, he talked with everyone except me and I know very well he wouldn't even talk to me. Good thing is that I have mingled with everyone here mostly with Samaira. We are like long lost friends. She is friend to me more than my sister-in-law cause she tells me every little thing whether it is about his bhai or about herself.
I want to work here in Mumbai. But I don't know how to tell maa and papa about my job. Samaira said that don't worry Bhabhi I will tell everyone about this. I'm just too nervous to go downstairs. I don't know since when Sameer bhaiya was standing behind me.
He said "Bhabhi why are you nervous today just go downstairs, no one will eat you" I just smiled looking at him.
"Did you break something while cooking?" he said sarcastically because maa loves crockeries. If you have broken something, she will punish you and she won't give you food to eat on the name of punishment.
I said with giggles "no Sameer bhai "
He said sighing "then its okey. Let's go to dining room Bhabhi" he ended with a little laugh. I nodded and we went together downstairs.
Everyone was sitting at the dining table. When I looked at Samaira's eyes she assured me that everything would be fine. I gave her nervous smile. I sat with everyone and we started our breakfast. After 5 mins Samaira held my hand beneath the table and said "Maa, papa, Sameer bhai listen everyone." Everyone looked at her except me. I was scared as hell. I was just looking at our hands.
Papa said "What do you want Samaira? I'm not talking with Sanjh about your new phone okey" he completed shaking his head negatively.
"Papa I'm not talking about bhai or phone. I want to say that Bhabhi want to work for a job" Samaira said with little excitement.
Papa said "What can I say about this, she can do whatever she wants to because she is not only my daughter-in-law but also my daughter. If you want to do a job then do it Sachi, no one in this house will stop you."
Sameer said seriously "Bhabhi have you already applied for any job?"
I said "No"
Sameer said "If you are okey then welcome to our company or if you don't want to work with us then I will tell you some good companies name at night okey."
I said with a little excited voice "Thank you Sameer bhai."
Till now maa didn't say anything so I asked "Maa if you don't want me to work then I'm o-" she stopped me as she spoke "No Sachi do whatever you want but you have to fulfill the responsibilities of daughter-in-law also along with your job."
I said with smile "I will maa." She smiled and we continue our breakfast.
It has been one and half months since Sanjh went to U.S. His call came yesterday in the afternoon but I went to work that time. I still don't have his phone number. In this one and half month he never talked to me. He always called other family members. Whenever maa, Sameer bhai and Samaira forced him to talk to me, he said that we talked on phone privately. He is good at lying hehe.
Today is Sunday so we all are sitting together and taking tea. Suddenly Sameer's bhai phone rang and it was Sanjh. Sameer bhai received his video call in just 2 rings.
Sameer "Hello bhai finally you started missing me too much, isn't it?"
"Sameer mujhe papa se baat karni hai" his voice sounded irritated. (I want to talk to papa)
Sameer understood something is urgent so he gave his phone to papa and papa left out. And Sameer bhai said looking at me "He is calling me after one and half month Bhabhi, can you believe this?" I chuckled on his cuteness.
"Maybe he is too busy" I said looking at him. At least he called you Sameer bhai after one and half months but I just listened his voice sometimes that too from your phone calls. I didn't even see his face i-, my thoughts got interrupted by Sameer's bhai voice "Bhabhi why are you taking bhai's side. He also left you here-"
Samaira said shutting Sameer bhai "Bhabhi let's go inside I want to show you something" I nodded. Sameer bhaiya understood the reason behind it and mumbled a sorry. I just smiled and shook my head negatively and get up from my seat with Samaira.
We were sitting in my room. "Sorry bhabhi Sameer bhai don't know anything between you and Sanjh bhai so he just" she looked down.
"Why are you sorry Samu, it's okey. I don't need anyone's sorry but everyone's support this time and you all are with me, right? and most importantly you are here for me."
"Yes, I will always stay by your side Bhabhi cause this time my big brother is wrong he never behaved mean to anyone but it's okey we will change him." she hugged me. I said hugging her back "Correct".
Then suddenly someone knocked at room's door and we broke our hug looking at that direction. It was Sameer bhaiya who was standing with his phone and looking at us weirdly.
I smiled and said "Sameer bhaiya why are you standing there come in"
"Bhabhi bhai want to talk with you and Samu" hearing his words my heart started beating fast. Samu and me looked at each other surprisingly. Sameer bhai came near Samaira and gave her his phone and left saying playfully "baat karne ke baad wapas kar dena" (Return it after talking)
"Yes yes" Samaira answered rolling her eyes. I just laughed. And she started talking like daily but here I'm nervous as hell. Why did he say that he wants to talk with me? will he have anything to ask? Or he just wants to talk? The questions in my head stopped when I heard Samaira's voice "Bhabhi hmm take it. I'm done."
Winking at me she gave me Sameer bhai's phone to talk. I took it happily. As soon as he saw my face, he hung up the call. Samu was about to leave but she heard the sound of phone going off and stopped looking at me. I controlled my tears, taking a deep breath. I smiled while looking at her and said "give this phone back to Sameer bhai okey" she just nodded and left.
After Three and half months
I'm so tired today. I just came from my work. It might be almost seven in the night and I have to cook dinner for everyone. I just came to my room and put my office bag in place and was thinking of going to bath when suddenly Samu came to my room with excitement. She was running & panting hard.
"Slow down girl why are you so excited today ha" I asked her confusingly.
"Bhabhi you should be excited, not me" she said smiling like a little girl.
I said spoiling her smile "me? why should I? I am just too tired today and I have a lot of work in kitchen also"
"You know what Bhabhi, Bhai aane wale hai parso ghar." (Bhai will be coming back home day after tomorrow) she said excitedly.
"What really?" I was too shock. She said laughing "Look at your face Bhabhi, looking so funny."
"Shut up Samu."
"So Sachi Bhabhi are you still feeling tired? Ha?" she said teasingly.
"Leave me. I have a lot of work to do Samaira." Samaira said rolling her eyes "Yeah yeah work work" and ran away before I hit her.
Finally! He is arriving today I'm excited because I haven't seen my husband for three and half months and he is half month late, ufff... So I have taken a leave from my office today and have done all the cooking. Even every day I cook myself but today I cooked all Sanjh's favorite dishes and that too without any help from any worker. We were all sitting in the living room waiting for Sanjh. He has told papa that he will come by one in the afternoon but he hasn't come yet. It's 2.30 pm now. Maybe the flight was late. Suddenly the doorbell rang and Samaira got up excitedly to open the door.
When the door opened, he was waiting there with his luggage and Samu just attacked him by hugging him. He smiled and hugged her back. Maa said shaking her head "Let him come in Samaira."
Samaira said ignoring maa "Bhai you brought everything I told you from there, right." He just nodded smiling.
He came inside. But he was not alone, there was also a girl with a small baby, probably 1 year old. Everyone was amazed.
