Lissy- I got to my 2nd period just in time. I sat down by the window and saw my Dads truck pulling out. During class time, I sat there debating whether or not to skip the rest of my classes. I didn't want to get into trouble anymore but again I didn't care. By the time class ended I came up with a conclusion. I began texting my friends with my plan.
Text messages...
*Group Chat*
Lissy- "Who wants to go out for lunch period"?
Matt- "Hell yeah"!
Oscar- " Sure why not"?
Addi- "I'm down"
David- "Me too. I'll drive us"
Megan- "You guys we aren't allowed to remember"?
Oscar- " What are you talking about"?
Megan- "We are sophomores, remember? Only seniors and juniors are allowed to leave campus during lunch period"
Lissy- "So? We all got the height as juniors and seniors. If we walk out with a group of them they won't notice that aren't allowed to leave"
Addi- "Come on Megan. It'll be fine. Plus we will be back before lunch period is over"
Megan- "Fine. I'm in"
Lissy- "Great"!
Oscar- "Where"?
David- " Where what"?
Oscar- "Where should we go to eat"?
Lissy- " I don't know"
David- "What do you mean you don't know"?
Lissy- "It means I don't know"
Megan- "How come"?
Lissy- " Look I just came up with the idea of us going somewhere. I didn't come up with everything"
Matt- "There is a Kamkeona food truck we get food from"
Oscar- "Where is that at"?
Addi- "He is usually parked at Ala Moana Park"
Megan-"How far is it from here"?
David- "Give me a sec ill check"
A few seconds go by
David- "It's like a 5-minute drive from here"
Addi- "Is everyone good with that"?
Megan- " I'm good with it"
Oscar- "Same here"
David- "Sure"
Matt- "I am"
Addi- "Lissy"?
Lissy- " I don't know"
Oscar- "Something wrong with that Lissy"?
Lissy- "Not other than my Dad and his team sometimes goes there for lunch"
Megan- "What's the point here"?
Addi- " She doesn't want to get caught Megs"
David- "Maybe we should go somewhere else"
Lissy- "Don't change the plans because of me"
Matt- "We don't want you to get into trouble"
Lissy- "When has that ever stopped me"?
Addi- "Never"
Oscar- "That's true"
David- "Are sure you want to do this still"?
Lissy- "Am I sure about doing what"?
Matt- " Going out"
Lissy- "Why wouldn't I be? I was the one asked if anyone wanted to go out for lunch"
Addi- "True but aren't you like in trouble with the principal and your Dad"?
Lissy- " What are you talking about"?
Megan- "I overheard you got into some trouble about not doing your assignments and homework"
Lissy- "So"?
Oscar- "I think Megan is trying to say that are you sure you want to risk going to Ala Moana Park even though your Dad might be there when you are in trouble"
Lissy- "Like I said as of right now I don't give a care. Do you know what this past month has been like for me? It's been torture."
Addi- "Torture"?
Lissy- "Okay I'm exaggerating a bit but it wasn't fun being on suspension"
Oscar- "But were you really on suspension? I mean you were still able to do things with us"
Lissy- "I mean yeah I was able to do things but it felt like I was always watched. It's time for me to go back to my old ways"
David- "You sure about that? Didn't you barely get out of your suspension or whatever"?
Lissy- " I don't give a care."
Oscar- "Why don't we go somewhere else"?
Addi- "Where"?
Megan- "I'm just coming for the food. Don't care where we would eat"
Lissy- "What about Wailana Coffee House? It's like a 5-minute drive from here"
David- " If we didn't do that we would miss our 5th period"
Oscar- "I'm fine with that"
Addi- "Me too"
Megan- "I'm cool with that"
Matt- "Okay since everyone is good with that we will go there then"

Brriinnnggg *school bell*
9:55-10:45 am (3rd period)
Lissy- My friends and I got up and went to the third period. We have five minutes to get to our next class. I sat during class my mind wasn't really paying attention to what was being taught. An hour goes by
10:50 am-11:40 am (4th period)
Lissy- Our school allows the juniors and seniors to leave during the lunch period which is an hour long. It's from 11:45 am-12:45 pm. Our next class which is 6th period is from 12:50 pm-1:40 pm. Afterward, we have 7th period which goes from 1:45pm-2:35 pm. Our last class is 8th period 2:40 pm-3:30 pm. School is out at 3:30 pm Now the school knows that the sophomores leave during lunch period and they usually don't mind unless it becomes an occurrence.
I however have made it to where they told me if I left school during lunch period again they would let my Dad know. You may be wondering how many times have I made it to make it an occurrence. Let's just say it's enough to get their attention.
11:45 am-12:45 (5th period)
*Bbbrrriinngg*
Lissy- The lunch bell rang and we all got into David's car. It took us about 5 minutes to get to Eggs 'n Things. We ordered and got our food within 10 minutes of being there. I looked at my phone and it read noon.
*Wailana Coffee House*
*Can anyone tell me what season and episode in Hawaii Five-O they show this place???*
*1 hour later*
1:00 pm
David- We finished up with lunch and I looked at my watch and said "We have about 45 minutes before our next class. What would you guys like to do"?
Lissy- "There were shops on this street. How about we look at the shops until it's time to head back"? I asked. Everyone agreed we would look at the shops for a little bit.
-30 minutes later-
1:30 pm
David- "We should head back to school now. Our next class is in 15 minutes"
Matt- "We don't want to be late especially with us missing 6th period. Does anyone know where Lissy is "? I asked when I noticed that she wasn't with us.
Megan- "No"
Addi- "She said she was going back to a shop to buy something she saw that she liked"
Oscar- "So we left her there"?
Addi- " She said she would meet us back at the car"
David- "Which store"?
Oscar- "She didn't tell me which store"
Megan- "Just great. We have to leave now and Lissy is nowhere to be found"
Matt- "I'll give her a call"
Phone call...
Matt- "Hey Lissy where are you"?
Lissy- "Hi Matt, I'm waiting in line to buy something"
Matt- "Which store"?
Lissy- " I don't remember the name"
Matt- "You don't know which store you are at"?
Lissy- "I just told you that I don't remember"
Matt- "Can you find out which store you are at so we can come to get you"
Lissy- "Why"?
Matt- " Because if we want to get back to school before lunch ends. We should be leaving"
Lissy- "I'll meet you guys back at school"
Matt- "No, Lissy. We aren't going to leave you here by yourself"
Lissy- "Don't worry Matt. I'll be back before school ends"
Matt- "School doesn't end for another two hours"
Lissy- "Look I gotta go. See you at school"
End of phone call...
1:35 pm
Oscar- "Where is she"?
Matt- " At some store. She won't tell me which store she is at"
Addi- "So what are we going to do"?
Matt- "She told me that she will meet us back at school"
David- "There is no way I'm leaving her here"
Megan- "What choice do we have? Our next class is in 10 minutes. We already missed one class. I'm not missing my other two classes just because Lissy is out doing her own thing"
Oscar- "She got a point there"
David- "Alright we will head back"

Lissy- After walking around for about an hour and 20 minutes or so of exploring. I looked at the time on my phone. It read.
2:55 pm
Lissy- I better be heading back since school lets out at 3:30 pm and it'll take me about 30 minutes for me to walk back to school.
-30 minutes later-
3:25 pm
-School-
Lissy- I made it to spare. l out of breath. Five minutes to spare. Whew. I went up the steps leading up to the school. I leaned against the hallway and within seconds the bell rang. Soon after the hallways filled with students coming out of the classrooms. I felt my phone buzz in my back pocket. I looked at my phone and saw that my Dad texted me.
Text Message...
Dad- "I'm on my way. Should be there in five minutes"
Lissy- "Okay" I replied back
End of texts...
-Inside of school-
Lissy- I slide my phone back into my pocket and went to my locker and saw my friends waiting for me there. I sighed knowing that I would be asked questions. "Hey guys"
Matt- "Where were you"?
Lissy- "I told you. Shopping"
Addi- "Girl that was dangerous what you did. Going off like that"
Lissy- "Yeah but like I said earlier I don't care"
Oscar- "What did you do"?
Lissy- "Walked around and went to a tattoo and piercing shop"
David- "You went where"?!
Lissy- "Shhh"!!
Megan- "What did you get"?
Lissy- "A belly button piercing and a tattoo"
Addi- "Let me see"!
Lissy- "What do yall think"
Matt- "Woah...geez McGarrett"
Lissy- "What"?
David- "We knew you were itching to do something but not this"
Lissy- "What were you expecting"?
Oscar- "Well we thought you would be good with only skipping the last two classes and going out for lunch"
Lissy- "Did anything happen"?
Addi- "The principal called us in and gave us a warning not to leave during lunch period and not to skip any more classes"
Lissy- "Guess we are out of the clear"
Megan- "Except for you"
Lissy- "What are talking about"?
David- "He is going to call your Dad and inform him of what happened today"
Lissy- "Why me only"?
Matt- "Guess this isn't your first time or second or third or even fourth"
Lissy- I shrugged
Oscar- "Aren't you concerned"?
Lissy- " Eh. I knew what would happen if I got caught"
Addi- "Your Dad is bound to know what happened by now"
Lissy- I was about to respond when my phone buzzed.
Text message...
Dad- "I'm out front"
End of text messages...
Lissy- "I gotta go. My Dad is here. Bye"
Addi- "Bye Lissy"
Matt- "See ya"
Megan- "See you tomorrow"
Oscar- "Adios"
David- "Good luck"

-Outside of school-
Lissy- I walked out of school and I saw Dad's truck waiting for me next to the curb. As I walked toward the truck my heart began to race. I knew I was in deep shit with my Dad even more with the stunt I pulled than I was this morning. Geez, that felt like a long time ago. I kinda took my time to get to his truck but eventually I got there. I took a deep breath and then opened the passenger door and got in. "Hey Dad"
Dad- "Hey Lissy. How was school"?
Lissy- Be cool Lissy. Don't act suspicious. He can sense something is wrong or know I'm up to something. Just act cool.
Lissy is getting herself into more trouble than she is already in.
Will Steve know what Lissy has been up to??
Will Lissy come right out and tell him??
How will Steve react and handle this??
