"Ok, mine. Mine. Mine."
You mumble to yourself, downloading picture after picture of your favourite one piece characters from Tumblr.
"Ah! Kawaii!"
You squeal happily, instantly falling in love with a picture of the strawhat captain wearing his big brothers hat and bangles. Holding a cluster of flowers in his left hand.
You download it, before your laptop makes a noise that notifys you a YouTube video has been uploaded.
You quickly close Tumblr, before checking YouTube. It says that Sawyer7Mage, your favourite reviewer, has uploaded a new video. (He actually is awesome, you guys should check him out)
When you notice it's a review for the latest One Piece chapter, you giggle happily. You hadn't realized the new chapter had been released. So, before watching the review, you go to your usual site, and prepare to read the chapter.
However, as you go to open the website, it crashes. Frowning, you wiggle your finger on the mouse pad. Nothing. The cursor just remains locked in the same position on screen.
You whine loudly, beginning to press loads of random buttons on the keyboard.
"Come oooonnn! I need to see what gear fourth is!"
You whimper. Suddenly, the screen blacks out. Your eyebrows come together as you stare at the screen. Moments later, it comes to life. The screen a navy blue, with, what looks like, coding flashing up on screen.
"Oh shit! Did it get a virus?!"
You yell, gripping at the screen as you stare intensely at it. All of the coding seems to melt together into a dizzying array of white light, blinding you as white noise rings in your ears. A bright flash, and you're out cold.
-Later-
"-dy?"
You groan.
"Lady?"
Whining, you roll over. Gripping at your bed sheets.
"Oi, lady. Where am I?"
A childish voice inquires, poking your forehead.
Actually...You recognised that voice. Your eyes slowly crack open, blurring a bit, before focusing on a pouting face, inches from your own.
Your eyes widen.
"Lllaaaddddyyy! Where am I? I'm supposed to be kicking 'Mingo's ass!"
He yells,falling back onto his butt on your bed.
You blink rapidly, before screaming a bit an falling backwards off your bed. You groan as a shot of pain jolts up your spine,rubbing your back with one hand, supporting yourself with the other.
His face glances over the side of the bed.
"Oi, you alright down there?"
You cover your mouth with one hand, and point at him with another. Your entire body trembling with excitement and fear.
"Y-you're Monkey D-D. Luffy!!"
He grins and nods.
Instantly, you're on your feet. Face extremely close to his, as you examine him. A genuine stitched scar under his left eye, a tattered sun-flower print shirt, large 'X' like scar on his chest, red sash and knee length shorts.
"Er, who're you?"
He enquires awkwardly as you stare.
"(Y/n)"
You mutter absent-mindedly.
He gives you a weird look as you grab his cheek, pulling it a good few meters from his face.
"Awesome!"
You yell. The boy grins again. He looks away from you, eyes casting around the room. When they land upon your laptop.
"Whoa! What's that?!"
He asks, opening the laptop to reveal the chapter you had been trying to read flashing up on screen. However, Luffy wasn't in any of the panels.
Makes sense.
You thought.
He can't be in any of the upcoming panels if he's here.
"That's my laptop!"
You cheer, taking it from him.
"It's also how you got here apparently."
You mumble, moving the cursor to find everything was running smoothly.
"Oh!"
Luffy begins. Pounding his knuckle into the opposing hand.
"So it's a mystery portal!"
He concludes, a proud smile on his face. You chuckle.
"It's whatever you want it to be."
-Later-
"Shishishi! I remember that!"
The rubber boy laughs,holding his stomach as he watches the scene in Thriller Bark where Chopper tells him Zoro had been stuck in a chimney for ages.
You laugh with him, looking through recommended videos. As you scroll, Luffy places a hand on top of yours.
"Hey..."
He mumbles softly, pointing at a certain video. Your entire body freezes. The video is simply titled,
Ace's death.
"Luffy, you shouldn't watch that."
You whisper softly, turning to look at the boy who's eyes look sad and distant.
He hesitates a bit, before nodding. You quickly close your laptop.
"Enough of YouTube, want some food?"
You ask quickly, Luffy immediately responds with a massive smile and nod.
You both head to the kitchen in your apartment. Luffy asking if you have meat the entire way. You chuckle softly as you open the fridge and peak inside.
"Hmm...I've got sausage rolls? Wanna try one? They've got meat inside them."
"YOSH!"
The rubber boy beams, grabbing the food from you eagerly and swallowing it whole. His eyes light up as he begins to slaver.
Ugh, I guess it's only funny in the anime.
You grab some kitchen role, wipe his chin, and depose of the tissue.
For the first time, you take a minute to take in the reality of it all. He looks quite different from himself in the anime. Of course, he looks more realistic. His eyes are of a normal size, the iris being a deep chocolate brown. His hair is wild and looks soft to touch. His hat looks slightly worn down, the ribbon looks like it's made of silk.
Everything about him looked normal....
It was weird...
You're choked from your thoughts as the boy suddenly gasps.
"You should become my nakama!"
He cheers, nodding as if agreeing with himself. Your eyes widen.
"Wh-what?!"
"Yea, I like you! You should come with me! Nami wants another girl on board!"
He giggles, placing a hand atop his hat.
"B-but...I'm just a normal girl! I've got no skill or strategy. I'd be completely useless in your crew."
You mutter, really wanting to take the offer. After all, you live very far away from your parents. You hardly ever speak to them, and you don't have any friends. So it's not like anyone would miss you. Or even worry if you left. Also...if you went, wouldn't it mess up the storyline? Oda would surely realize if a character just suddenly appeared that he hadn't drawn...
"Hmmm.... Well then you can be the pirate queen!"
He cheers, his eyes lighting up with delight at his decision.
"E-eh?!"
"Shishi~ If you can't fight, then I'll just protect you!"
He decides, gripping your hand and tugging you towards your room.
"B-but Luffy-"
"No buts!"
He snaps, pressing a finger to your lips. He then opens your laptop, and stares at it.
"How are we supposed to get back..."
He wonders aloud, his face going a slight red as he thinks.
"Oh, I think I have an idea!"
You interject, twisting from his grip and typing in the newest chapter to Google. Once it's up, you look at the first panel where Luffy shows up in this specific chapter.
"You'll obviously have to somehow appear in this panel first."
You state, thinking about how to get him there. Trying to distract him from his stubborn decision on you coming with him. However, he's taking none of that.
"We'll have to appear in that panel."
He corrects, making you groan. Laughing, he turns back to the screen and watches it curiously for a moment. He reaches his hand forward, and pokes the screen. When a white light engulfs his hand, sucking it into the screen.
"Alright!"
He cheers, pushing his arm further in.
You smile and watch the boy, chuckling as he becomes shoulder deep in the electronic.
"(Y/n)."
He mumbles, turning to face you. With a small, sincere smile, he reaches out his free hand to you.
"Come with me. Adventure the world, and live free. Do what you want, be who you want to be. I won't stop you. So long as you promise to be my nakama, the world is yours to explore by my side...what do you say?"
He asks, his smile growing. His eyes hold a hopeful look, and you find yourself feeling tears gathering in your eyes. Bottom lip quivering. Damn that idiot...even now, he had a way with words... You take a deep breath. A smile stretches across your face, and you reach a shaking hand out and grip his. His smooth, tanned palm squeezing yours.
"I say...show me the world, then...Captain."

I have now made myself desperately want this to happen. Good job me. *Sighs* I really want to turn this into a series...but I can't. It'd be inappropriate after quitting on my Ace x Reader....*whines* God Damn it....
