Recap:
Lissy went to the library to work on a school project with her friends but turns out that she was meeting a guy named Ian Wright. They went to dinner and Ian kidnaps Lissy without a trace. Steve goes to pick her up but finds her not there. The team and Steve start to find Lissy that night but have no luck. They resume the next morning in finding Lissy. The team goes in different directions talking to various people.
One of the people turns out to be Ian Wright's brother Aaron Wright. The team finds out that Steve had Aaron Wright put into prison a few months back. They also find out that Ian and Lissy began talking to each other soon after Aaron was put into prison. They assume Ian has kidnapped Lissy as revenge against Steve for putting his brother into prison.
Phone call...
Steve- "Hey Lou, you are on speaker"
Lou- "Are you guys still at the prison"?
Danny- "No, we just left"
Steve- "We weren't able to get anything from Aaron regarding Ian"
Jerry- "You might want to go back to the prison"
Danny- "What are you talking about"?
Lou- "While Jerry and I were at Ian Wright's place we found a few names tags from the prison"
Steve- "That's odd considering that we just spoke to Aaron and he said that he hasn't spoken to Ian since they were teenagers"
Jerry- "I had the prison send me all of the video footage of the meeting with each other"
Danny- "Do we know when the first time Ian went to go visit Aaron" was?
Lou- "History shows that he went to go visit him the day after we put Aaron into prison"
Steve- "Well maybe Ian finds out that his brother is in prison and decides to visit him"
Jerry- "You would think that but according to video footage. The first day Ian went to go visit Aaron it wasn't a reunion"
Danny- "What are you talking about"?
Lou- "When these two meet with each other. It didn't seem like they were seeing each other for the first time. At least since they were teenagers"
Jerry- "We also have footage of Ian visiting Aaron consistently"
Danny- "How consistent are we talking about"?
Lou- "Five times a week"
Steve- "I'm sorry did I hear you correctly. You said five times a week"?
Jerry- "That's correct"
Danny- "It seems like Aaron lied to us when we asked him when was the last time he has seen or spoken to Ian"
Steve- "Alright, thanks Lou and Jerry for the update. Keep us posted if you find anything"
Lou- "Sure will"
End of phone call......
Steve- "Guess where we are going"?
Danny- "Back to the prison"?
Steve- "Seems like we need to have another talk with Aaron," I said with frustration
*Prison*
Aaron- "I feel so honored that you two would come back a pay me a visit"
Steve- "This isn't a visit we wanted to do"
Aaron- "Then why are you here"?
Danny- "Remember when we asked you if you had spoken to your brother Ian you said that you haven't"
Aaron- "Yeah, that's right. I have spoken to Ian since we were teens"
Steve- "Well we have records of your brother Ian visiting you a few times"
Aaron- (speeches)
Danny- "What do you know? When the truth comes out he is speechless"
Aaron- "No, I'm....umm"
Steve- "No, what? We have footage of you two meeting each other. And the times you guys met. You two didn't act as if you two haven't seen or spoken to each other in a while"
Danny- "We want to know where your brother is keeping Lissy"
Aaron- "I don't know"
Steve- "Are you sure about that"?
Aaron- " Yes, I'm sure"
Steve- "If I find out that you knew where your brother is keeping my daughter, you would regret it," I said then leaving the room
Aaron- "What does he mean by that"?
Danny- "Why do you seem nervous about what he said"?
Aaron- " I'm not nervous, just curious'
Danny- "Well you better hope for your sake that you don't know where your brother is keeping his daughter," I said then leaving as well.
*Palace*
Tani- "How did it go with Aaron"?
Steve- " Dead end"
Danny- "He said he doesn't know where his brother is keeping Lissy"
Junior- "Do you believe that"?
Steve- "Hell no. I think he does know where Ian is keeping Lissy"
Adam- "Why would you say that"?
Steve "Before we left I just told Aaron that for his sake that I shouldn't find out that he knew all along where Ian was keeping Lissy"
Lou- "What happened after that?
Danny- "Steve left the room and Aaron seemed slightly nervous about what Steve had told him"
Adam- "Which means he probably does know"
Danny- "That's what I suspect"
Junior- "You still haven't been able to track her location"
Steve- "No, it was turned off right before they left the library"
Tani- "Any communication with Ian at all"?
Steve- " No, not yet"
Quinn- "What do you want us to do"?
Steve- "You guys keep digging into Ian and Aaron's conversation and see if you can find anything. I'll be in my office if you need me" I said then headed to my office.
*Meanwhile*
Lissy- I woke up again and hoped that everything that has happened was a dream. As I opened my eyes I realized that it wasn't a dream. It was happening. I started to cry again. Oh, how I wished I could back in time and not have gone to the library. If I hadn't I wouldn't be in this place. I wished I had never talked to Aaron at all.
I was worried I wouldn't go home and see my Dad again. I bet he is angry and disappointed in me for lying to him about what I was doing tonight. But I knew for a fact whether he was angry or disappointed in me he wouldn't stop looking for me.
Ian- "Sleep well"?
Lissy- I ignored him
Ian- "Awww....don't be like that"
Lissy- I still ignored him
Ian- "I'm doing what's best for you"
Lissy- "You're doing what's best for me? This?! Kidnapping me and restraining me? Do you call this best for me?!"
Ian- "Look there is no need to yell"
Lissy- "Are you serious right now"?!
Ian- " If you keep yelling I gonna have to covet your mouth"
Lissy- I rolled my eyes
Ian- "Trust me.."
Lissy- "That is the last thing I'm gonna do Ian"
Ian- "What"?
Lissy- " I'm not and never will trust you again. Especially not after what you have done to me"
Ian- "I've just helped you get away from your Dad. Just all I have done for you"
Lissy- "All you have done for me? You have put me through hell Ian"
Ian- "Alright what do you want from me"
Lissy- "I want to go home Ian"
Ian- "You are home"
Lissy- "You know what I mean Ian"
Ian- "As I told you before you can't. At least not yet"
Lissy- "What do you mean"?
Ian- "You will find out"

Danny- "I'm worried about Steve"
Quinn- "What do you mean"
Danny- "Since last night when we found out that Ian kidnapped Lissy. He hasn't slept or eaten"
Tani- "That's can't be good or healthy for him"
Junior- "We tried to get him to sleep or eat but he said wasn't tired or hungry"
Quinn- "Did we notify Duke at all and are they doing anything to help?
Danny- " We did but they I had asked them it on the down-low just to be on the safe side"

Steve- I sat down at my desk and closed my eyes. Tears started to form and stream down my face. I didn't know if Lissy was okay or even alive. My heart began to ache for Lissy. I then thought to myself that I would do everything in my power to get Lissy back and alive.

I missed you guys! It's been a month since I've updated. And I apologize for that. I've been busy with work and I also got locked out of Wattpad. Had trouble logging back in but finally got in about a week ago.
I've been writing this chapter for about a week now. Finally got to where I like it or at least where I'm okay with it. Well enough to publish for you guys to read. I hope you guys like it. I hold myself to a kinda high standard sometimes when writing chapters for this book. Which in some ways is good but then it's not.
It takes me a long time to write a chapter that I think it's good for you guys to read. There are times when I think it's good but I reread it and then I don't think it's good. So it takes me a long time to update y'all. So my apologies. I'm trying to get better where I just publish it without being hard on myself.
Well anyway sorry for the rant. Just wanted to let you kinda into why it takes me a while sometimes to update you guys.
Also after this book is done. Would you guys like me to continue this series or start a new book?
I'm debating on two titles for this book. The same storyline just different titles.
Not gonna tell you the storyline just yet. But it's will be about a blended family coming together.
