Amelia Pov
"It feels great to have had all my babies back under one roof?" Mamma says smiling widely.
"Don't get used to it madre" Luciano smirks making her huff.
"Lia what are you doing today?"
"I and Cara are going shopping for Carmella Queens, meet Kai and James to finalise the plans and house hunting," I tell them watching as my parent's faces drop
"What?" they ask shocked
"Guys I'm 21 now I haven't lived with you since I was 18, I need my own place," I tell them softly.
"Fine but your brothers and I will be checking them out before you commit to it. Deal?" Padre says
"And no boys" Enzo states making the rest of the male's nod in agreement as myself and mamma scoff.
"If she meets a nice guy then good for her," she says stubbornly
"Anyway, I haven't met anyone yet so we don't have to talk about this," I say rolling my ass at their dramatics.
"Franco, how is school?" I ask my youngest brother
"Boring, all the girls keep following me around they're weird" he grumbles making us all laugh
"Don't ever change bud?" I tell him kissing him on the head before kissing everyone else on the cheek saying my goodbyes before I head out.
"Ms Amelia" tony my family's driver greets me as he opens the back passenger door of the car to let me in.
"Thanks, Tony, how are you? How's the family?" I question him happily as it's been a long time since I last saw him
"I'm doing great thank you. Everyone is good Antonio is now 14" he says with a chuckle "where too?" He asks his Italian accent coming through.
"Sorry, we are going to pick Cara up first. You're kidding, I can't believe he is already 14" I say shocked
We continue our chat for the next 10 minutes before we arrive at the miller home
"She will be right out," I tell him before finishing what I was saying before.
"I can't wait until it's open to get a taste. It sounds amazing" he chuckles
"Good" I smile just as the door opens and Cara steps inside.
"Hey bitch" she greets me before turning to tony "oh tony I have missed you" shy sighs making us laugh.
We decide to go house hunting first, not fully decided if we want to get somewhere together or alone.

"This is the place," Cara says excitedly as we stand inside our new restaurant
Giggling I nod her way "it is" I chuckle "that's why we bought it"
"When do the renovations start again?"
"Tomorrow everything starts, that's why we are meeting Kai and James today," I tell her for what feels like the hundredth time.
"Oh yeah, to go over the final plans?" She asks making me sigh
"Yes Cara, Mio dio how could you forget all the plans that you made?" I laugh
"Hey girls"
"Oh hey guys, thanks for coming," I say smiling at them both.
"Right so the kitchen and a small security office on the lower level and the main level will have a small bar with the tables for customers and the main office with 2 desks?" James asks us to confirm what we agreed on.
"Yes," I tell him smiling.
A couple of hours later we have gone through everything and I couldn't be more excited for the outcome and what the millers firm is going to be doing.
"So when are you going to let me take you on a date?" Kai asks me as I lock up the door before passing the keys to James.
"What?" I ask with a laugh.
"A date?" He smirks
"Shut up, you don't want to go on a date with me," I say rolling my eyes at him.
"Nah, I'm being serious" he states making me look at him in shock before shaking my head.
"Leave her alone jackass, she is not going to be one of your bed warmers" Cara growls at him making me and James laugh.
"Sorry, the boss has spoken," I tell him with a smirk
"Oh come on" he groans as we walk away from them.
"Well that was very random" I mutter
"Girl of course he would want you, you're gorgeous. But we all know what Kai is like" Cara huffs
"A one-and-done kind of guy" I giggle.
"So what are we doing now?" I ask Cara
"How about we take you girls out for dinner?" Kai asks before Cara can say anything.
"Yeah lily will be sleeping for the next two hours at least so I could do with some food," James says with a smirk
"Well, I guess we are going to eat then," I say with a chuckle.
"Thank fuck, I didn't want to go to the dinner that was planned for tonight" James sighs making me look at him confused. "Kai call dad and tell him we aren't going"
I tell tony that the guys were going to be driving us to the restaurant so he could just leave. Once we get into Kai's car I look at James.
"Ok that's Amelia just got in so speak soon bye" Kai says
"Bye" I hear Jessica and chases voices before they cut off.
"What dinner were you talking about?" I ask James
"Oh I forgot to tell you about that, dad sent us all a text telling us that Tiffany asked Theo to set up a family dinner for tonight" Cara explains
"Then maybe you should all go, not for her but your brother," I tell them feeling a bit sorry for Theo
"No fucking way, I have no interest in sitting with her" Kai mutters
"No thanks," James says
"Bitch I don't like her, I ain't sitting playing happy families with her" Cara spits
"Guys..." I start with a sigh
"Nope, I don't even know why he is getting married to her" Cara mumbles
"Maybe he loves her," I tell them even though it hurts to say.
"Bullshit" Kai snorts
"Ok let's just go to eat," I tell them
"What do you guys want?"
"Chinese" Cara and I say in unison making the boys chuckle as Kai parks the car before we all walk into the Chinese restaurant.
An hour later we are still sitting at the table and I feel like I am going to burst open.
"I'm so full" Cara groans
"Tell me about it, it looks like I'm pregnant" I giggle
"Is it my baby?" Kai asks with a cheeky smirk on his face, a bush appears on my face as an old woman gives me a funny look making the others laugh.
"You asshole" I groan slapping his arm
"Sorry I couldn't help myself" Kai chuckled wrapping his arm around me and leading us back to his car.
"Do you think the dinner will be over yet?" Cara asks
"Hopefully" James mutters
"Guys, don't be mean. She is going to be your family" I tell them
"It's not as if you like her either" Kai laughs
"Yes but she also isn't going to be my sister-in-law so I don't have to pretend. Do I?" I say smugly making them laugh.
"Where am I dropping you?" Kai asks me
"She is coming to ours," Cara says smiling
"Guess I'm going to your house" I laugh
"Oh really? You coming home with me baby?" Kai asks huskily wiggling his eyebrows.
"Shut up" James and Cara's groan making me laugh as Kai winks at me.
I send a quick text to my parents letting them know I won't be home tonight. I struggle to keep my eyes open as this drive seems to be way longer than usual.
"Lia" I hear someone say while I am being shaken.
"Mm" I groan
"Come on babe, we are here" I hear Cara say making my eyes open to see the three adults all smiling at me.
"Sorry" I mutter blushing
We walk into the miller household only to realise that must not be going well as Theo looks like he is ready to explode in anger.
"Theo.." tiffany starts
"No, I fucking told you we wouldn't be getting married anytime soon. We spoke about this shit twice today already so I don't know why the fuck you bring it up again in front of my family" Theo growls standing up quickly causing his chair to fall back, "excuse me for a second" he sends a fake smile to my parents.
I see tiffany start to get up probably to follow him "don't you dare follow me right now," he tells tiffany before running up the flight of stairs.
"What the hell was that all about?" Kai asks confused before sending a glare to Tiffany
"Just some disagreements" tiffany says smiling widely.
I'm beginning to think this girl really is insane
"I'm going to check in Theo" I whisper to Cara making her nod as she angrily walks towards the table.
Climbing up the stairs I turn left and then walk to the end of the hallway where Theo's bedroom resides. After knocking on the door only to be ignored I decide to just walk in.
My heart begins beating rapidly as this is the first time I've seen him since two nights ago.
"You okay?" I ask him softly making his head snap towards me.
After chatting for a short while I smile at him before walking out of his room,'Mio Dio, he is really getting married' I think sadly to myself. I take in a breath and prepare myself for heading back down the stairs.
I see Justine start collecting the plates so deciding I would rather clean up than sit with tiffany listening to her bullshit.
Doesn't she even care that Theo left

Get over it
"I don't like that girl at all" Justine mutters as she washes and I dry "there is just something about it that I can't put my finger on"
"Join the club, I'm not sure many people like her because of how she acts," I tell her
"Why can't you just marry my son" she giggles as she takes in my shocked face
"What? I used to see the looks you both shared" she smirks "even when you were little he would always find a way to annoy you and you would find a way to touch him even if it was hitting"
"That was a long time ago, things change" I mutter softly
She squeezes my shoulder with her hand "I'm sorry sweetheart" she says softly.
"Nothing to be sorry about, nothing could ever happen between us, why don't you go sit down and join in with the chats?" I ask her
"No thank you. I can't be in there, I don't know if I'm expected to be happy about the wedding but I'm not. I mean she says she wants it in 3 months" she says angrily
"She just has this sort of effect on people" I giggle
We continue chatting before I hear baby lily let out a cry, I look up at Justine with a pout.
"Oh just go" she laughs making me smile before rushing into the sitting room only to stop short when I see Theo with his niece.
"Damn he looks good with a baby" I mutter under my breath.
The sight in front of me makes my heart melt, the smile on his face is beautiful. But the beautiful sight in front of me is ruined when I hear Cara sounding angry I shout her name before she can say anything that ends up ruining this family thing for them all. Rushing forward to take Lily before heading up to her room leaving them all to it, Ignoring all the talking behind me I coo down to the gorgeous girl in my arms.
"Mio dio you are beautiful" I coo at the baby as she looks up at me "are you hungry"
Laying her on her changing station, I begin to take off all her little clothes and then quickly change her diaper. Instead of putting her sleep suit on I wrap a thick throw around her to keep her warm as I feed her since she still has to have her nighttime bath.
As her blue eyes stare up at me I smile down at her and begin singing 'you are my sunshine' to her as she lets out her baby noises.
"You're spitting your milk out silly girl" I giggle as she continues making noises like she is talking to me.
Yup I want a baby now
What's that word again? Broody
That's it I'm broody, now all I need is a man and I can have one
"You stealing my niece" I hear Cara say causing me to look up smiling
"She is just too cute" I smile
"I know," she says smiling softly. "You want one?" She smirks
"Yup" I groan
"I knew it" she laughs "I've been feeling the same"
"You want her?" I ask Cara as Lily finishes her bottle
"Yes please, I will burp her then get her ready for bed," she says making me nod. "Why don't you go watch a movie?"
"Ok, I think I will" I smile before kissing Lily on the head and walking down the stairs to the lower-level movie room.
Putting on one of my favourite movies that I used to watch with my mamma 'the bodyguard'. I pull a throw over me snuggling into the comfortable puffy chairs.
It's at the part where frank takes Rachel to his apartment and she picks up the sword. I love this part as it's the beginning for them.
I smile she leans into him before they kiss.
"Is that what you want?" I hear a voice say making me let out a scared scream
"Mio Dio, don't do that" I gasp glaring at Kai who chuckles.
"Sorry. But is that what you want?" He asks softly leaning against the door frame.
"What?" I ask confused
"Something like this movie? To fall in love with someone?" He asks softly making me sigh.
"Doesn't everyone? But Yeah, I guess I'm a hopeless romantic" I chuckle looking anywhere but him
"Have you found it before?" He says making me look at him and nod.
"I thought I did," I tell him "but things change"
"Why?" He asks curiously
"I guess it was too much, too strong but also too young" I mutter "it was a long time ago"
"You still love him" he states
"I think a part of me always will," I say sadly "he will always hold a part of my heart he was my first everything but we have come to terms with things and said goodbye. I believe I'm ready to move on"
"He is one lucky son of a bitch" Kai mumbles "but also dumb as fuck for letting you go," he says in disbelief making me laugh and thank him.
"What about you?" I ask him curiously
"Nah I'm happy with how things are" he smirks making me laugh. "If I was though then it would be with you" he winks making me scoff.
"Shut up cagna" I sneer jokingly
"No I'm being serious, you're beautiful, smart, kind, loving and fiercely protective and loyal of those you love. I think if I was looking to settle then I choose you but that's just not me or at least it's not yet" he says making me blush "Though I'm not sure Theo would be happy with that" he smirks making me look at him shocked
"What are you doing?" I hear Theo's husky voice ask making me blush as Kai's smirk widens
"Oh you know, was just going to tell Lia how hot she sounded when she was a moaning mess for you the other night" he chuckles as Theo glares at him "you are dumb as fuck for letting this girl go," Kai says to Theo with a straight face. Before turning back to me,
"If you want to just have some fun then let me know beautiful" he winks.
"Shut the fuck up" Theo growls making me look at them both like a deer caught in headlights
"Nah man, you fucked up and you lost a diamond and chose a diamanté that's on you." Kai says shaking his head "see you later Lia" he smiles softly before walking out.
Theo is still standing there with his eyes narrowed, jaw and fists clenched in what I assume to be anger. He turns to look at me and his eyes soften slightly.
"I swear I didn't tell him, I don't know how he knows" I plead for him to believe me "I wouldn't do that"
"I know, don't worry about it," he says walking toward me "you okay?" He asks softly
"Yeah, just confused as to what the hell just happens" I mutter
"Well, I did tell you to keep your moans in" he whispers huskily making me blush.
"Shut up" I groan "are you okay? After today that is?"
"No" he shakes his head letting out a tired sigh "I will be though"
We sit in silence just watching each other curiously well for me it is anyway. I'm just trying to check if he really will be ok.
"I promise" he smiles making me nod "well I best get to the office need to go over some things with my dad," he says before leaning down to kiss my head lightly and I'm not sure if it was intentional or not but he had to take in a deep breath through his nose as he kissed.
"Okay," I say softly squeezing his hand that was close to me before turning away and pressing play on the movie.
I hear his movements stop and can feel his eyes on me but ignore them.
These types of things don't help me at all.
The quicker I meet someone new the better
Third Person Pov
Theo lets out a rough breath and then turns around to go to the office.
He opens the door seeing his dad and Kai sitting at the table.
"What the fuck was that?" He growls at his brother who just smirks "that shit isn't funny Kai"
"What the hell happened," chase asks his sons.
"He said some bullshit to Amelia" Theo mutters
"What the fuck kai? Why?" Chase demands
"I told her she sounded hot when she was a moaning mess under Theo" kai laughs shocking Chase making Theo pounce towards him but before he can connect his fist chase pulls him back.
"Calm the fuck down" chase growls shoving Theo into his chair "what the fuck is going on?"
"Tell him to stop talking about her like that" Theo growls slamming his fist on the table.
"So it's true?" Kai asks his brother softly
"What?" Theo groans
"Wait wait what?" Chase says still confused "Amelia moaning Theo" he mutters before realisation takes over his face "you fucked Amelia," he says shocked
"For fuck sake" he groans annoyed at the both of them.
"Yes" he mutters not telling the complete truth
"For fuck sake Theo what are you playing at?" Chase demands
"It maybe started just a good fuck but that's not how it turned out is it Theo?" Kai asks softly wanting his brother to be honest with them but more importantly himself. Theo let's out a sigh knowing they won't shut up until he speaks.
"When?" Chase asks
"The night of their graduation"
"That far back," Kai says now looking as shocked as his dad
"Yes" Theo sighs "she kissed me within 10 minutes of first seeing each other to shut me up and I stopped it pretty much straight away" he lets out a hollow chuckle as he stands up to look out the window. "I got pissed because at the meal she wouldn't look or talk to me so when you were all leaving I followed her to toilet ended up kissing again and once again she ignored me. I ended up in her room that night talking for a while then Next thing we know we are in bed and I'm taking her virginity. As much as this may make me sound like a pussy but I had never felt what I did that night"
Kai and Chase send a quick look to each other before watching Theo again.
"It felt different, we spent that hours together we agreed it was a one time thing but in the end, I left the know and few hours later got called back to bases, we thought that was it. " he says looking at them
"But it wasn't?" Kai asks making Theo shake his head.
"We emailed back a forth as often as possible then a month later we began FaceTiming every night I wasn't called away and when I was away it went back to emails we met up in secret twice" Theo tells them
"So you were pretty much together?" Kai asks
Theo just shrugs at him letting out a tired sigh.
"How long did this go on for?" Chase asks
"A year" he mutters shocking them
"You and Amelia were in a long-distance relationship for a year" Kai checks
"Yes Kai" he growls
"So what happened?"
"The morning on their last visit home we were together, she told me she loved me and wanted us to be together," he says with a shaky voice walking back and slumping in the chair.
"What happened man?" Kai asks squeezing his brothers shoulder in encouragement
They watch as Theo takes a deep breath clenching his fists and eyes screwed shut.
"I told her I didn't love her and that everything was stopping between us. I told her that she didn't love me that it was just a childish crush and she had to get over it then I walked out and never spoke to her again until when they came back" he says regret clear on his face
