"It's her- ah wait no that? They? It?" I heard laughing from the group of random students behind me.
"It is probably the best term since they aren't exactly... normal." They continued their (secret) discussion as I grabbed my books for my next class.
"Can't believe the Wayne family has that thing as a part of their family."
"It's the freak."
"Instead of the forgotten middle she's the forgotten gender."
"Thing said its ya know, that whole same sex orientational thing."
"Wow, people would only hang just for the name association anyway."
I sighed as I walked into class and sat in my seat. At least in the classroom I didn't have to listen to everyone talking shit. The past few weeks I've heard the same things over and over again. Creep, disgusting, attention seeker, whore, and etc.
I brought out my textbooks and half finished homework, doing what I could last minute before I was required to hand it in.
"Oh dear, did you forget about the homework?" I glanced to the seat beside me seeing it was Patricia (srry if thats ur name).
My former close friend and seat mate. I had told her of my preferences, thinking I could trust her. Next day she told the entire school, spread lies and rumors about me. "Patty come on, don't let her I mean, that thing rub of on you."
"I feel bad, after all she has no more friends that are willing to hang out with her." Patricia said before leaving to her group.
The day passed and I went back to my locker and opened it and out fell multiple letters and pictures. I picked up some seeing it as a bunch of childish threats, calling me a pedophile, a freak and the odd threat mixed in.
".. Stupid, childish. Just wasting their own time and paper.." I mumbled picking up everything and I heard laughing as people walked past me. I sighed and recycled what I could and threw everything else away.

Eventually, months passed and things haven't gotten better, but they haven't gotten that much worse. Some people were bored with the teasing and just ignore me now. Others still try to get a reaction out of me and I refuse to do so, at least in front of them.
"Sorry, you can't come in here." I stared at the girl blocking the bathroom. "Since you know. You're not a girl." she smiled at me.
I looked at the boys bathroom across the hall and another boy walked in and seemed to see me eyeing the bathroom. "Hey, creep. Stop staring pervert." he said before going in.
The girl laughed from behind me. "You're going to be late to class." she told me, still not moving.
I bit back my remarks as I went to class, knowing that arguing would cause a scene and dad or my brothers might end up being called down. "I don't want them knowing.. I can take care of this myself.." I thought as I went back to class.
"Alright, I'm handing back your tests. There will be a retake today after school. If you can't make it make sure to tell me after class." The teacher said handing out our results. I flipped the page seeing I barely passed with a C. I folded the paper and put it in my bag as the lesson continued.
I got home that day and went straight to my room saying I had homework to do. I laid on my bed, staring at my ceiling. I heard notifications sound on my phone and I turned it off without bothering to check, knowing its just spam accounts people in school made just to bother me.
"They're going to notice if my grades get any lower.." I thought tossing a pillow over my phone to muffle the notification sounds.

It was a casual weekend morning, and all four brothers were remarkably eating lunch together and no one was annoyed with each other or trying to start something. "Where's the little one?" Jason asked eating one of Dick's fried chicken pieces.
"Said not hungry." Damian responded.
"Hm, well how's school?" Dick asked.
"Really? That's what your opening with?" Jason asked.
"Well should I ask about the weather then?" Dick asked Jason in return.
"School is the same. Boring." Damian replied.
"The teachers have complained, Damian keeps trespassing onto the roof during class." Tim said eating his sandwich.
"Classes are boring." Damian said.
"At least you get to finish high school." Jason sighed.
"You got your GED didn't you?" Dick asked.
"That's lame." Jason mumbled.
"Actually I overheard one of the teachers talking about (Y/n)." Tim said and everyone turned to him.
~(Y/n)'s pov~
I sat in my bathroom staring at the razor I placed on the sink. "I should stop.." I thought rubbing my arms feeling the dull ache from older cuts.
I left the bathroom to find a bandaid and there was a knock on my door.
"Whose it?" I asked as I got my first aid kit.
"It's me." I heard Dick's muffled voice.
"Hold on!" I replied hurriedly bandaging my arms. "Come in." I said hiding my arms in a new jacket.
Dick closed the door behind him, looked at me "Is the ac too cold?" He asked.
"I just like this jacket." I replied.
"Mmm I see." He sat next to me on my bed. "So... About your grades.." he began.
"I-"
"Before you say anything, we don't know the full story here. Tim just overheard the teachers when delivering student council work. Whatever's happening that's causing this, we don't care as long as your okay." Dick smiled at me. "Jason and I won't be of much help since we've graduated a while ago, but you can always talk to Tim or Damian." He told me.
I stared at Dick thinking about whether or not I should tell him. "I-" I began but stopped knowing if I started I would eventually have to talk about the bullying, the childish threats, the thoughts, the cutting and how I was unable to solve it on my own.
"Take your time." Dick told me, hugging me and kissing my head. "We'll be in the library if you want to talk." He smiled and left the room.

"Well?" Jason asked as Dick entered the library.
"She's been cutting herself." Dick sighed sitting on the giant bean bag. "She tried to hide it but the smell of the ointment, and I could see a little under the jacket she wore." Dick explained.
"And you didn't asked her about it!?" Jason asked.
"She's not telling us for a reason. I'm not going to force it out of her if she doesn't want to." Dick reasoned and Jason knew he was right to a certain extent.
"She isn't on her phone much these days. She just reads from the books in here." Tim said.
"Which books?" Dick asked.
"The new ones. Over there." Damian pointed to a part of the library that was basically reserved as (Y/n)'s private space with her favorite books, a computer to play games, board games, cards, even a projector for tv shows or movies.
Dick looked over the new books. "These are just about betrayal, revenge, self worth and the meaning of life." Dick said putting the books back down.
"Is she in those kind of phases?" Jason asked.
"Seriously? Don't call it a phase." Tim said to Jason.
"I think we should talk with her again." Tim said and they all agreed. Before they could get up, the door opened and (Y/n) nervously stood there.
"I'm.. can we talk?" She asked and they made space for her on the couch.
~(Y/n)'s pov~
The five of us sat silently as they waited for me to start speaking. "Patricia and I are not friends anymore. The reason is... I told her something about me, and she told everyone in my grade. And since then... people have been poking fun at it, making stupid jokes, and bothering me in... different ways. I didn't say anything - b.. because I thought it would go away. It didn't.. I tried fixing it myself but I couldn't do it.." I sniffled tightly holding my jacket sleeves. "Then.. I began to.. hurt myself to-" I sniffled my eyes getting warm and watery.
"You can stop now." Jason said and I felt him place something over my shoulders. It was a weighted self heating blanket we kept in the library. I looked up and Jason seemed upset. They all did.
"What did she tell everyone?" Tim asked me. "Only if you want to tell us." He smiled.
"I told her that.. I was... am non binary and gay." I mumbled quietly.
They didn't ask me to repeat it so I was unsure if they heard me. "We heard don't worry." Damian told me.
"So then.. that means.." Jason began mumbling to himself as if he was going through a crisis. "They? Her... no..? Them. Boys and girls? Or is it or? None?" I laughed a little hearing his confused rambling.
"Do you want to tell Bruce and Alfred yourself?" Tim asked me.
"I.. can one of you come with me?" I asked.
"I'll be there." Damian said and I smiled at him.
"Thanks." I smiled.
"Come here." Dick pulled me into a hug. "Now, I want you to tell me the names of everyone who messed with you and from 1-10 how bad they did." Dick smiled innocently.
"Why.." I asked.
"We just want to talk. No biggie." Jason answered, seemingly to have regained his senses.
"The teachers also didn't do anything so we may have to suggest staffing changes." Damian said bluntly.
I couldn't help but smile and relax, no longer feeling anxious and leaved against the closest person who happened to be Tim. He put an arm around me letting me rest on him and I eventually fell asleep as the four of them plotted on revenge.
