Maudie POV
I got out of the car.
Standing right in front of me was an enormous mansion.
I've never seen a mansion so big in real life before.
And now i get to go inside one.
I started walking up to the golden gates.
The gates automatically flew open and soothing classical music started playing.
"Welcome Guest." The loudspeaker said.
This place is really, really fancy.
I feel like I'm visiting royalty.
I slowly walked in.
Their front yard has a fountain with a statue of a horse on it,
Neatly cut bushes in shapes of spheres
and a swimming pool.
I could fit 8 houses in this front yard.
Then I noticed a blurry figure running towards me.
They got closer and closer.
It was Harriet.
"Maudie! Glad your here!" Harriet shouted as she ran up to me.
She got to me and she tried catching her breath.
"Sorry, It was a long run." Harriet said.
"I could tell, this place is enormous." I said
"It is, shall we go see our friends?" Harriet said
I nodded.
Harriet and I started walking.
"This place looks amazing by the way." I said.
"Thanks, Hallen wanted something big and bold." Harriet said
"The show must be doing well in order to afford all of this." I said.
"Yeah it is." Harriet said.
"Thanks to you." I said.
Harriet blushed in flattery.
"By the way, do you know why their doing this?" I asked.
"I also don't know myself, Ava texted me if she could borrow a room in my house as a favor." Harriet said.
"And you have no questions whatsoever." I said.
"Nope, pretty used to things like these at this point of my life." Harriet said.
"But why do YOU think their doing this?" Harriet asked.
"I don't know, they said their doing it because I'm such a great friend. But it's unlikely and strange...." I said.
"Well whatever the reason why, It's probably great." Harriet said.
"Yeah, It always is." I said.
We finally got to her mansions front door.
She opened it and we walked in.
"Welcome to the inside of my house I guess." Harriet said.
"Wow, this looks really nice and fancy. Are you sure I'm not visiting the queen?" I asked.
"No Madam, you will be meeting 3 princesses." Harriet smiled.
I laughed.
"Good one." I said
Harriet and I went up some stairs and she lead me through a long hallway.
There were so many rooms.
We stopped in front of a door.
"I have to go do somethings now, see yaaaaa." Harriet said as she ran away.
"Wait Harriet-" I said.
But she was too far away to hear me.
I sighed.
I opened the door,
the room was pitch black.
"Hello? Ezra? Ava? Kyle?" I said as I took a step forward
Some fairy lights lit up.
It startled me a bit.
It was very sudden.
I took a good look of the room before I did anything else.
There was a projector screen, a coffee table with a bouquet of daisies and Dahlia's placed on it, and a sofa
The room was also decorated
With balloons, streamers and confetti.
This is certainly odd.
Did I accomplish something without knowing?
I slowly walked in.
I sat on the sofa.
I'm not exactly sure on what I should do.
Do I just wait?
Suddenly the projector screen started playing a video.
It started doing a countdown.

The song Table for 2 started playing in the background.
Pictures of me and Ezra started popping up.
There was the picture of when we went to the waterpark,
Us dancing together on my 13th birthday,
Even when we were teaching little kids about business strategies.
I grinned from ear to ear.
This is such a nice surprise.
It then suddenly cuts to a video of Ezra.
It looks like it was recently recorded in this room.
'Hey Maudie, I'm going straight to the point. I like you. Not just like, I mean like like you.' Ezra said.
I gasped.
I already knew and I have no idea why I gasped.
Maybe I'm surprised that he confessed already.
He brought the camera closer to his face.
"Right now I'm at Harriet's house setting up the surprise and praying you will say yes to my upcoming question." Ezra said as he smiled nervously.
"Ava and Kyle went out to pick up something and I'm about done setting up." Ezra said.
He placed the camera on the coffee table and sat on the sofa.
"I want to explain everything." Ezra said.
He sighed.
"I've had feelings for you for a long time honestly and I've been planning this confession ever since I've asked you that question at the beach." Ezra explained.
"I mean, my plan for the decorations were actually more simpler than this but Ava insisted that we make it more special. I agreed, because you deserve it." Ezra said as he gave a warm smile.
"And what do I know about these confession things?" Ezra said as he shrugged
I giggled at his statement.
"Plus I'd rather leave it to Ava. When it comes to her with these things, we shouldn't question her right?" Ezra asked.
I smiled and nodded.
"I genuinely really like you, I swear." Ezra said.
"Anyways, I shouldn't stall anymore. I'm going to give reasons to why I like you." Ezra said.
"There's actually a lot that I can't explain it all, Let me shorten it. I love every single thing about you." Ezra said.
I felt myself blushing a little.
"Your smile makes me smile and you being there next to me just lightens my mood." Ezra said.
"I feel safe and can just be myself around you. Your pretty much everything I've ever wanted." Ezra said.
"Yes, I admit. We've had our ups and downs before. I may have some anger issues from time to time and I could annoy you to death sometimes. I don't even think I'm good enough for you, but i want to try 'us' if your up for it." Ezra said.
I felt my heart beating faster and faster.
But I think I already know what I'm going to answer.
"Remember when we swore to be best friends forever? I'm breaking that. Because starting from today, we're a couple. Okay?" Ezra said.
The video ended.
Ezra then walked into the room carrying a cupcake with a candle.
He approached me with a gentle smile.
"If you want us to be together, as a couple, blow the candle." Ezra said.
I smiled and blew the candle.
I like him too.
Plus,
I think I'm ready for a relationship.
Ezra placed the cake on the coffee table and he gave me the biggest hug ever.
I hugged him back tightly.
"By the way I actually already knew you liked me." I muttered
"What? since when?" Ezra asked as he pulled back from the hug.
"Since the brownout happened at the Hallen show. I never expected you to confess, at least not so soon." I said.
"I never expected that I would be even bold enough to confess, ever." Ezra said
I giggled
"Was that a bit too much?" Ezra asked.
"Yes, I would have been fine with a letter or text. I'm not complaining though." I said.
"I wanted to make it special for you." Ezra said.
I smiled
"You understood the assignment." I said
Ezra laughed at my dumb 'joke'
He has a really sweet, romantic side to him.
Ava and Kyle busted in.
"Woooooo you guys are finally a thing!" Ava excitedly said as she gave me a big hug.
"Ezra, congrats dude." Kyle said as he high-fived Ezra.
"We have to celebrate." Ava said.
"One step ahead of you." Kyle said.
He pulled out a big party popper and pulled the string.
Colorful confetti soon filled the room and made a huge mess.
"WOO HOOO!" Kyle shouted.
"Why are you celebrating? I'm definitely not cleaning up this mess." Ava said as she crossed her arms.
"Oh no." Kyle said.
Ezra and I laughed.
Ezra wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
Harriet came in and squealed.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GUYS ARE FINALLY TOGETHER!" Harriet said as she ran over to us.
She pulled all of us in for a hug.
"I have been waiting 58 chapters for this." Harriet said as she hugged us tighter.
"58 chapters, what do you mean?" Ezra asked.
"Oh nothing." Harriet said as she pulled back.
Well,
This trip is different from what i expected...
I got a boyfriend now...
What's next??
Right, I still have to tell dad.
I MAY OR MAY NOT RELEASE A BONUS CHAPTER.......
