Based off my experience of being sick one time and my first Cody oneshot
(F/s) = Favorite soup
(F/m) = Favorite movie
Plot: You end up falling sick and Cody stays with you to take care of you

You suddenly woke up and felt chills run through your body. You were so cold yet so hot at the same time. You looked over to see the clock displaying 5:08am. You coughed slightly before groaning in discomfort. You turned your body over and saw that your amazing boyfriend, Cody, was laying there. You immediately cuddled into him trying to get warmer as you got colder. As if he felt you, he wrapped his arms around your waist pulling you closer. You let out a shuddered sigh as you pressed against him, wanting warmth. For the next hour, you did your best to fall asleep but to no avail. You felt extremely sore and your head felt like a hammer was bashing in your brain. You groaned in discomfort again and sat up to get out of bed. Thankfully, you didn't wake Cody up in the process and you then walked out of the bedroom, taking the blanket. As soon as you got to the living room, you laid on the couch and coughed more roughly this time. You pulled the blanket tighter around yourself to gain some heat you so desperately needed. About a few minutes passed and you heard Cody walk out of the bedroom.
"Hey, (Y/n), did you take the blanket with you?" You heard him ask.
You coughed in response and he came over to you rather quickly. He knelt down in front of you upon seeing you looking sick. He pressed a kiss to your forehead and drew back concerned.
"Cyar'ika, you're warm." He stated.
You groaned for the third time and he stood up, walking back to the bedroom. You assumed he was going to the refresher to get the thermometer and you waited for him to come back.
"Alright, let me check your temperature." Cody said as he came back in.
You complied by opening your mouth slightly and he knelt in front of you before placing the thermometer under your tongue. A long minute passed and the thermometer beeped, signalling it got a temperature. The beeping stopped and Cody widened his eyes.
"101 degrees is high, you're sick." He said, looking back at you.
You whimpered upon hearing the news of being sick. You didn't bother trying to get up because you knew Cody would stop you. Your mind was hazy for a bit before you registered that you were placed against a warm surface. Immediately, you pressed yourself against it needing to be warm. A pair of arms wrapped around you like earlier and pulled you closer.
"You're more cuddly when you're sick." He said jokingly.
You opened your mouth to speak but let out a harsh cough instead. You gave up and rested your head on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. You blinked tiredly as he placed a kiss on your head and slowly rubbed your back. You shivered as you felt yourself get colder, even though you have a blanket and your boyfriend to keep you warm.
"How about a bath? That might make you feel a little better." He suggested.
You nodded at his suggestion and he stood up, holding you in the process. You didn't protest as he walked into the bedroom and placed you on the bed to get the tub ready. You heard the water running as you cursed your sickness for feeling useless and for having Cody to do everything for you. The blanket you had was most likely thin since you were still feeling as cold as Hoth. You heard the water stop and saw him step out.
"C'mon, the water is perfectly warm just the way you like it." He said as he picked you up.
You hummed in response, your throat sore from coughing a lot. He stepped inside the refresher and you instantly felt warm air hit your skin. He sat you down on the edge of the tub and made sure you didn't fall in. He took the blanket from around you and you instinctively hugged yourself from the sudden discomfort. Cody turned around letting you know that you have some privacy. You quickly took off your sleepwear and undergarments then carefully let yourself in the tub. You sighed in content as soon as you felt the water and let your boyfriend know he was okay to look. He turned around and sat on the edge of the tub, smiling at you. You looked over and smiled back as he held your hand.
"I'm...lucky to..have..you." You managed to say.
"I should be the one saying that." He said and kissed your hand.
"Cody...."
"If we weren't dating, I'd never take the day off and care for you like this."
"Kenobi...won't...let you...off..for this."
"I don't care, you're my girlfriend and if you aren't feeling well, I'll always make sure you feel better."
You laughed lightly at his statement, knowing he meant what he said. You closed your eyes for a bit before you felt Cody's hand leave yours and quickly turned to him.
"Cody...wait." You mumbled and coughed.
"I'm going to get you some soup from the mess hall, cyar'ika, it won't take long." He said before standing up.
"Can...you get...."
"(F/s)? Of course."
You smiled just before he turned around and left to the mess hall. You laid back in your original position as you waited for him to get back.
'He knows me too well.' You thought and closed your eyes.
Speaking of Cody, a few strolling troopers looked at him confused because of the outfit he was wearing. He wasn't too bothered by it and soon he arrived at the mess hall. He walked in and towards the line to get you soup like he promised. As he was waiting his turn, someone tapped his shoulder and turned to see it was his brother, Rex.
"Cody, what are you wearing?" Rex asked, referring to his jacket and sweatpants.
"Casual clothes, I'm taking the day off." Cody simply answered.
"What, why?"
"Girlfriend is sick."
"Oh, you want me to tell General Kenobi?"
"If you don't mind. Thanks."
"Anytime, vod."
With that, he turned back around and the line moved forward. It was finally his turn and he ordered (f/s). The server quickly prepared a tray with a bowl of (f/s) and a bottle of water.
"Thank you." Cody said as he grabbed the tray and the bottle.
"Sure thing, Commander." said the server.
Cody then left the line and towards the door. He set the water bottle on the tray and held it with both hands to keep it steady. He took cautious steps back to his office making sure the soup didn't spill. Soon enough, he arrived at his office door and put in the code, the door opening. He stepped in and sat the tray on the table in front of the sofa. He walked towards the bedroom to get you but instead saw you sitting on the bed. He smiled seeing you wrapped in the blanket waiting for him.
"I noticed you're wearing one of my shirts." He said, getting your attention.
You looked towards the door to see Cody leaning in the frame smiling. You smiled back as you stood up and walked over to him.
"I hope you don't mind." You said and hugged him.
"It suits you, keep it." He said as he hugged back.
"If you insist." You laughed lightly.
"How are you feeling?"
"A little better, still have a headache and a stuffy nose."
"I got you your soup, I set it down in my office area."
He led you to the sofa and sat you down before taking the tray. He placed it his lap and picked up the spoon. He used the spoon to get a spoonful of soup and lifted it up your mouth.
"Cody, I can feed myself!" You said and laughed.
"I don't care, you're still a little sick and I intend to make you feel better." He said.
You didn't argue with him as you opened your mouth. He placed the spoon in your mouth and you swallowed the warm soup. He took the spoon and got another spoonful before looking at you. After ten minutes, you finished your soup and Cody set the tray on the table.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" He asked.
"Yeah, is (f/m) okay?" You inquired.
"Of course, anything for you, cyare."
You smiled as he stood up to get your datapad from the bedroom. You thanked the Maker that Cody existed the same time you did. Cody then came back in with your datapad and sat back down, pulling you into his chest. You happily snuggled against it and watched as he got the movie ready. Then he pressed play and you two started to watch the movie.
<Two hours later>
Cody turned off the movie once the credits rolled and placed the datapad on the table. He looked down and smiled upon seeing you asleep then pressed a kiss to your head. He pulled you closer to him as you cuddled into his chest. Even though you were sick that day, he enjoyed having to take care of you.
