Ava POV
I woke up.
I picked up my phone to check the time.
It was 7.36 a.m.
I looked around to see if anyone else was awake.
None of them had woken up yet.
Of course.
Im always the early bird.
I stood up and stretched.
I walked over to my bags to find an outfit to wear for the day.
Today feels like the day to rock my new outfit that my mum had picked for me.
It was all in one zip-lock
She called it her 'Fashion sets'

It has a checkered pattern shirt, jean jacket with colorful buttons, yellow pants and Yellow dangle earrings.
My Mum has THE BEST fashion sense.
I opened the zip-lock bag and took the clothes out.
While doing so, i somehow grabbed a piece of paper
A bit confused, i pulled it out.
It was an envelope.
I opened it and i saw a little note and 264 AUD
I ignore the bill as i read the note

I smiled.
My mum really is the best.
I grabbed the Money and kept it in my wallet.
I looked down and sighed.
I walked over to the bathroom and took a shower.
After showering...
I quickly changed and tied my hair into space buns.
I left a strand of hair at the sides of my face to make it look fancy
I took a look at the mirror and posed.
Wow i look so Amazing.
Mum really nailed this fashion pack
Its a waste not to go out with this outfit on though

I should buy things with the money my mum had given me!
Mainly food for the InBESTigators.
I am sick of eating the same thing too.
I then saw a movement from the corner of the bathroom.
I backed away slowly.
A rat suddenly appeared.
As you can guess, i handled it pretty well.
Kyle POV
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" I hear Ava scream from the bathroom
What is it now?
Did she lose her favorite lip gloss ?
I groaned as i stood up and approached the bathroom.
"What is it Ava? You ruined my dream of Louie Prestia." I said as i opened the bathroom door.
I saw a rat running around the bathroom sink.
"AAAAAAAAH!" I shouted.
Ava and i calmed down
"Kyle lets slowly back away and let the experts handle this." Ava said.
I nodded and we slowly backed away and closed the bathroom door.
"What's happening? Why are you guys so loud?? Its so early..." Ezra whined as he sat up and rubbed his tired eyes.
"There's a rat in the bathroom and we want you to get rid of it" Ava whispered.
"WHAT?" Ezra said.
"Shhhhhh." Me and Ava hushed Ezra
"Shush me for what? Its not like it can understand us." Ezra said.
"Oh right." Ava said sheepishly.
"Anyways we really need you to kill that rat." I said.
"No Kyle, were not going to kill it. Were just getting rid of it." Ava said crossing her arms.
"Why are you asking me? I don't know how to get rid of a rat." Ezra said.
"Then who?" Ava asked.
We then turned to Maudie.
We all ran up to her and woke her up.
I can't believe she hasn't woken up yet despite the loud commotion.
"What is happening?" Maudie said in a blur.
Ava explained everything.
"Seriously? All of this for one rat?" Maudie said.
Maudie stood up and walked to the bathroom.
She opened the door and went in.
We followed her and then watched her from a safe distance.
Maudie cupped up her hands and slowly approached the rat.
She mumbled something..
Surprisingly, the rat went over to Maudie's hands

Can Maudie speak rat?
"See? Easy." Maudie said.
"What, How?" We all asked.
"Its a little thing my dad taught me when i was younger. When we visited the New Orleans at Louisiana. I often saw rats but my dad showed me how to deal with them." Maudie said.
"SO YOU CAN SPEAK RAT?" I asked amazed.
Being able to speak with rats is AMAZING
"Kind of." Maudie said as she patted the rat.
"No offence Maudie. But rats are filthy..." Ava said.
"I know. I think its time to let this little one go." Maudie smiled.
Maudie went downstairs and opened the door.
She carefully placed the rat on the porch and closed the door.
"That was amazing Maudie." Ezra smiled.
"Thank you." Maudie said.
"Okay, now that's settled... I was planning that all of us should go to the grocery store to buy some ingredients for food." Ava said.
"Where'd we get the money?" Ezra asked.
Ava pulled out her wallet and whipped out a 264 AUD
"This is how." Ava smiled.
Ava is literally so Amazing.
She's saving our lives with new types of food to eat.
"Great. But where did you get this money from? Isn't our budget limited?" Maudie asked.
"Oh well i found an envelope for me from my mum. It had 264 AUD in it. Plus a sweet note." Ava said.
"Ohhhh. No wonder." Maudie said.
"It was actually meant to be my shopping money but we need real food." Ava said.
Ava is sacrificing her shopping money?
"You really don't have to." Maudie said.
"I don't have to but i want to. Also im just spending 60 dollars on ingredients of our food so it wont be much." Ava said.
"Sounds fair." Maudie said.
"Anyways, so you guys are joining me right?" Ava said.
We all nodded.
"Great lets all get ready then." Ava said.
The four of us went back to our room to get ready
