Maudie POV
I finished unpacking my bag.
I looked around to see what everybody was doing.
Ava is dusting the room.
Kyle is still unpacking.
I turned to Ezra and saw him sitting on the bed, typing something on his laptop.
I looked at Ava again.
I know i should be offering Ava some help.
But...
I kinda wanna see what Ezra was up too.
I guess Ava won't be mad.
She DOES want me to spend more time with him.
I walked up to Ezra and sat next to him.
"What are you doing? It seems interesting." I said.
"U-uhm I'm just adjusting some things on our website..." Ezra mumbled.
It looked like he was trying to decide the website's background color.
"I think you should change it to a lighter shade of blue." I suggested.
"What shade of b-" Ezra asked.
I leaned in closer and pointed to the shade of blue that i think will look best for the website
"O-oh okay got it." Ezra said as he clicked on it.
His face was really red.
Again.
Then Ezra's eyes lit up
"Your right it looks way better." Ezra said as he smiled.
"Told you." I said as i smiled back.
Instead of going back to working on the website.
Ezra just stared at me.
"Ezra..." I said as i waved my hand left and right in front of his eyes.
"Huh what." Ezra said as he looked left and right frantically.
"Ezra, tell me what's going on." I said as i placed my hand on his shoulder
"What are you talking about Mauds." Ezra said obviously lying.
"Ez........." I said crossing my arms.
"Fine fine." Ezra said.
He came closer to me.
"I have a crush on someone and i can't stop thinking about her..." Ezra whispered
Wow.
This was surprising news.
Ezra has never really appeared to me as romantic or mushy.
"Is that whats been bugging you these past few days?" I asked.
Ezra nodded and gulped.
"Who's the lucky girl?" I whispered with the biggest smile on my face.
Even though i know nothing about love, it doesn't hurt to ask.
"Uhmm Im not ready to say who yet." Ezra whispered back.
"Why? is it me?" I joked.
Ezra's eyes grew wide.
"Definitely not." Ezra said
"Tell me when your ready then." I said.
I have to respect peoples privacy.
He will tell me when he's comfortable doing so.
Ezra nodded.
"I should get back to editing the website. You wanna help?" Ezra asked.
"Definitely." I smiled.
We spent half an hour editing the website and having fun.
He also taught me simple coding.
