Luna's Pov
Me, Bree, Chase, Leo, Alexis and Nick were all in the common area talking to each other.
We heard the hydraloop coming up as we all turned around to see Adam walking out of it.
"Guys, guess what I found!" Adam grinned.
Before any of us could ask him we heard noises from behind him.
We turned around, only for our eyes to widened when we saw that a dog had walked out from behind Adam.
Bree, Leo, Alexis and Nick crouched in front of the dog and started petting it with smiles on their faces.
"Where did you get a dog?" Leo asked.
"And please do not say from a guy with sunglasses and a cane" Bree sighed in annoyance.
"No. He started sniffing me when I got on the hydraloop, then he went crazy and wouldn't leave me alone" Adam shrugged.
This made me furrow my eyebrows at him in confusion as I crossed my arms.
"And did you by any chance have meat in your pocket?" I asked.
"No!" Adam yelled before his eyes widened in realization as he reached for something in his back pocket.
"Wait, is salami a meat?" Adam asked as he took out a piece of meat.
I just sighed and rolled my eyes while Chase walked over and stood next to me.
"He can't stay" Chase said.
"Whoa! Did you see that? You said stay, and he did. He's a genius" Adam grinned.
Chase looked at him weirdly while I just sighed as the others continued petting the dog.
Then Douglas walked in and when his eyes landed on the dog his eyes widened in shock.
"Otis?!" Douglas gasped in shock.
We furrowed our eyebrows at him in confusion but he ignored us and whistles.
Surprisngly the dog walked towards him as Douglas crouched down, grinned and started petting him.
"Oh, that's my dog! He was a stray I took in and nursed him back to health, back when Krane and I bought our first evil lair together!" Douglas grinned.
I furrowed my eyebrows at him in confusion as he looked back at us.
"Actually, it was more of an evil townhouse" Douglas shrugged as he continued petting Otis.
"How were we ever afraid of you?" Bree asked.
"I ain't afraid of him" I scoffed.
"Me neither" Alexis scoffed.
"Anyways. This guy got me through some pretty rough times" Douglas smiled as he continued petting Otis.
"Well, its nice to hear that you had someone to comfort you while you were plotting to kill us" Leo said.
"I mean I was plotting to kill you guys before, but not Luna. Mostly because she's scares me" Douglas said.
"As I should" I smirked while shrugging.
"Anyways, I think Otis ran away because Krane terrified him. He must've been searching for me forever. I bet he smelled my scent on Adam and followed him back here" Douglas said.
"Are you sure that's the same dog?" Nick asked.
"Absolutely, watch this" Douglas said.
He stood up from the ground and stared down at Otis.
"Otis sit" Douglas said and Otis sits down.
"Look left" Douglas said and Otis looks left.
"Look right" Douglas said and Otis looks right.
"Speak" Douglas said and Otis lets out a bark.
We all smiled, clearly happy that it was the same dog that Douglas remembers and not other one.
"Whoa. I can't even do all that" Adam grinned.
"That's because you're not a dog babe" Alexis sighed while shaking her head.
"I'll tell you another little secret: Otis has super strength" Douglas grinned as he crossed his arms.
We all stared at him with wide eye in shock.
"Wait. You gave bionics to an animal?" Chase asked and Douglas nodded.
"Yeah, he was injured and I did it to save his life" Douglas said.
We all nodded in understanding as Douglas walked over to us and Chase walked overto stand behind Otis.
"Well, I'm glad you saved him but I also can't believe the fact that you wasted bionics on a dog" Chase said.
"I wouldn't say wasted. Do your thing Otis" Douglas smirked.
We all furrowed our eyebrows in confusion, wondering what Douglas was going to make Otis do.
Then to our surprise Otis jumped, turned around and used his super-strength to kick Chase.
Chase let out a loud yell as Otis's kick sent him flying into the training area where he crashed into a few things.
We all cringed before the others started laughing.
"Whoa! Cool! I thought I was gonna have to train him to do that" Adam grinned.
Douglas grinned and nodded while I quickly ran into the training area to check on Chase.
In The Cafe
Me, Adam, Chase and Otis were in the cafe together.
Adam and Otis are sitting at a table together playing cards.
Me and Chase were sitting at the other table that was near theirs.
I was sitting on Chase's lap, playing with his fingers while he was looking at his tablet.
"Sweetheart, why are you playing with my fingers?" Chase asked with a small smile.
"I don't know, they're just really soft and fun to play with I guess" I shrugged.
Chase chuckled and kissed me on the lips, making me smile.
He then sneezed into his napkin, making me slightly jumped as I removed my hands from his fingers and gently ran them through his hair.
"Chase, could you keep it down? Otis and I are playing cards" Adam said in annoyance.
Chase glared at him while I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"Are you alright bubba?" I softly asked.
"I don't know. I think it's because of Otis" Chase said.
I frowned and continued running my hand through his hair, hoping that would help just a little bit.
"Alright, what do ya got?" Adam asked as him and Otis continued playing cards.
Otis used his nose to pick up another card as Adam looked surprise.
"Another ace? Man, you're a lot better than the other dogs I play with" Adam said while placing his cards on the table.
Chase wiped his nose more with his tissue and turned to Adam.
"Adam, that fur factory is making me sneeze. You have got to get rid of him" Chase said.
Adam got up and walked over to us, looking really angry.
"Stop right there. Otis is the best thing that's ever happened to me" Adam said.
"Oh, really? Better than being a bionic superhuman, and going on life-saving missions?" Chase asked.
"Or the fact that you're dating my sister?" I asked while narrowing my eyes at him.
"Mm-hmm. He lets me rub his belly" Adam grinned.
Me and Chase glared at him as Douglas walked in and walks over to Otis.
"Sup, Otis" Douglas grinned as he started petting him.
Chase once again let out another sneeze, making me sigh.
"Is he still making you sneeze?" Douglas asked as Chase nodded.
"Yes. I must be allergic to him" Chase sighed.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. How do you know he's not allergic to you?" Adam asked.
This made me and Chase glare at him as I got off his lap and stood up as Chase copied my actions.
"Adam!" I yelled at him.
"Okay. Chill out. I know just the thing that'll make him feel better" Adam said.
He then turned to Otis and smiled.
"Hit it, Otis" Adam said.
Otis then walked over to another table as we followed him.
He jumped on top of the chair where there was a keyboard.
He then starts playing it, making us impressed since he was really good at it.
When he was done Adam let out a small sigh as he turned to us.
"Not his best. He's much better on guitar" Adam said, making me giggle.
Chase once again sneezed, making me sigh as I turned to Adam.
"Adam, I know you love Otis, I do too and Douglas loves him too. But Chase can't live like this" I said.
"Fine. I have a solution. Chase lives in a bubble" Adam smiled.
Douglas smiled and nodded while Chase glared at them.
"I'm not living in a bubble!" Chase yelled in annoyance.
"You're right. It'll be much easier if you just leave the island. Thank you for your service, and good luck" Adam grinned.
He grabbed Chase by the arm and was about to drag him away but Douglas stopped him.
"No, no. Luna's right. Chase was here first, so Otis has to go" Douglas sighed.
Adam threw his head back and let out an annoyed sigh while Chase glared at Douglas.
"Oh, thank you so much for choosing me over a dog" Chase sarcastically said.
"Well, it wasn't easy" Douglas scoffed as he turned away from him.
Chase glared at him, clearly angry and anyway can see that.
He closed his eyes and moved closer to me and held onto my hand.
I smiled softly at him and gave him a gently squeeze.
He seemed to have calmed down so I dragged him away with me.
When we were away from Adam and Douglas we entered my room.
I let go of Chase's hand to close my door as he walked over to my bed to sit down.
I smirked and quickly closed the door before walking towards Chase and turning him around before he could sit down on the bed.
He looked at me confused but I didn't give him the time to talk as I quickly pressed my lips onto his.
He was surprised at first but he placed his hands on my hips and kissed me back.
The kiss was getting more and more passionate as I quickly slipped his plaid shirt off and it fell to the ground.
I placed both hands on his shoulders as we both continued kissing.
His hands wandered down to the bottom of my shirt and tugged on it, saying he wanted it off.
I quickly pulled away and pulled my shirt over my head and threw it to the ground.
I reconnected our lips as he wrapped both arms around my waist.
We started walking towards my bed and when we were there we both fell down with Chase on his back and me on top of him.
We pulled away so he could take off his shirt and he threw it to the ground.
I cupped his face with my hands as we both pressed our lips against each others again and his hands wandered down to my back.
We pulled away to catch our breath as we were both breathing heavily.
Chase stared up at me, his cheeks were bright red and his lips were swollen.
"What's this for sweetheart?" Chase asked, still breathing heavily.
I giggled and ran my hands through his hair.
"Well you weren't feeling that well because of Otis. So I thought why not I make you feel better" I smirked.
He opened his mouth to speak but I leaned down and started biting on his neck.
I heard him let out soft moans as he placed his hands on my hips.
"Y...yeah, y-eah this i-is making me feel be-etter" Chase stuttered, moaning as I continued biting his neck.
"Good" I smirked before I continued what I was doing.
A Few Hours Later
I sat up from my bed, grabbing my shirt from the ground and putting it back on.
I then put my pants back on, along with my socks and my shoes.
I fixed my hair, making sure it was covering my neck.
Turning around, a soft smile appeared on my face when I saw Chase laying on my bed still sleeping.
He was laying on his side, his hair all messy, his lips more swollen then before and his neck covered in hickeys.
I grabbed the blanket and pulled it up more to cover his sweaty naked body.
When I made sure he was covered I leaned in and placed a gently kiss to his forehead.
"Sleep well bubba" I whispered and placed one last kiss to his forehead and moved away.
I quietly walked towards the door, opened it and walked out.
Gently closing the door I walked away to see if I could find Bree and Alexis.
I was wandering around in the hallway before I saw Bree and Alexis walking together while talking.
"Hey guys" I smiled as I made my way towards them.
They both looked at me and smiled.
"Hey Luna" Bree smiled.
"Where's Chase? You guys are usually together" Alexis asked.
This made me blush and smirk as I shrugged.
This made their eyes widened when they realized what I was doing and they both smirked.
"Of course, we should've known" Alexis said and Bree nodded.
This made me giggle as I shook my head at them.
The three of us started walking together to head to the mentor headquarters.
When we got there we saw Leo on his phone talking to someone.
"I could talk to you all day, Leo" a girls voice said.
"So glad you're my lady" Leo grinned.
The three of us looked at each other as we walked over to him.
"Who you talking to, Leo?" Bree asked.
"Mr. Davenport" Leo quickly said as he turned around to face us.
"That sounded like a girl" Alexis smirked while crossing her arms at him.
"I think we can both agree that is one of his many faults" Leo said.
"Leo" I said in warning tone.
Leo sighed in defeat and nodded as a smile appeared on his face.
"Okay. It's this new girl I've been talking to" Leo smiled.
The three of us looked at him in shock as small smiles appeared on all our faces.
"Wow, I never knew you were such a ladies' man" Alexis said.
"I've been trying to tell you" Leo shrugged with a grin on his face.
All three of us looked at each other and giggled while shaking our heads at him.
"Hey, Leo?" the girl asked.
"Yes, beautiful?" Leo asked.
"My battery's on four percent. Can you put me on the charger?" the girl, or phone asked.
Leo quickly hid his phone while the three of us looked at each other before looking at him with wide eyes in shock.
"Wait, the girl that you've been talking to is your phone?" Alexis asked.
"No. What makes you say that?" Leo asked while scoffing.
We all gave him the 'really' looks as he put his phone to his mouth.
"Shelly, stop vibrating. I'll talk to you later" Leo said before putting his phone away.
The three of us looked at each other and rolled our eyes and walked away.
Leo sighed and walked over to us.
"Okay. Shelly is my new smartphone assistant. It started off with a few meaningless reminders. Leo, don't forget your wallet, Leo, brush your teeth..." Leo said.
"Leo, the bus is here to take you to wacky-town" Bree scoffed.
This made me and Alexis giggle as we started taking out some snacks.
"But she learned all my habits, and she knows me better than anyone. Shelly gets me. And for $39.99 a month, she is gonna continue to get me" Leo explained.
The three of us looked at each other and let out small laughs.
"Look, I don't know what's sadder. That fact that you're dating your phone" Bree said.
"Or that I think your phone can do better" I said.
Leo glared at me but all I did was shrug, pat his back and walk away with the girls following behind me.
The Next Day
Me and Chase were walking together while talking.
We were trying to think of what we're going to do for our fourth year anniversary.
Sure we still have time since it's not coming up for a while but we still want to think of something that we can do together.
While walking we made our way into the common room.
When we got there we saw Adam sitting on a chair with Alexis on his lap playing with his hair.
But the most shocking thing was that Adam was reading a book.
We stopped in our tracks as we turned to him.
"Adam, are you reading a book?" Chase asked.
"No, I am pretending to read a book" Adam scoffed.
Alexis nodded, making me giggle while Chase sneezed.
"Ugh, why am I still sneezing?" Chase asked in annoyance and confusion.
"Because you refuse to live in a bubble" Adam.
"My boyfriend isn't living in a bubble Adam" I sighed while shaking my head at him.
Chase nodded as we both walked away from him.
But then Chase stopped me from going any further.
I was about to ask him what was wrong but he put his finger to his lips, telling me to be quiet.
I was confused but I nodded either way.
Only a minute passed until Chase walked back over to Adam and Alexis as I followed behind him.
When we got there we saw Adam crouched next to Otis while Alexis was sitting on the chair.
"Aha! I knew it. My allergies are worse than ever. You kept Otis" Chase said as we walked towards them.
"What? No, that's not Otis. Stand, Otis" Adam said.
Otis stood up as Adam crouched down next to him, he grabbed the blanket that was nearby and wrapped him around it.
"This...is our long-lost cousin..., Bolgia. From, the old country where shaving is illegal" Adam said.
Alexis started giggling while me and Chase looked at Adam weirdly.
"Adam, that's a dog in a blanket" I deadpanned at him.
"Look, I know she isn't the most attractive woman, but she's family" Adam said.
This just made the both of us roll our eyes at him.
Then we heard an alarm sound coming from nearby as we all looked at each other in worry.
"Oh no, there has been an accident in the explosives area" Chase said.
"Oh, let's go. Come on, Bolgia. Let's show Chase that trick where you run like a dog" Adam said.
He removed the blanket from Otis as Otis ran away with Adam and Alexis following behind him.
Me and Chase looked at each other and we just sighed and shook our heads.
I grabbed Chase's hand and geo-leaped us to the weapons area so we wouldn't have to walk.
When we got there Adam, Alexis and Otis ran in.
Our eyes widened when we saw Douglas laying on the ground with a few things on top of him.
"Douglas!" me and Alexis yell.
Adam quickly got the things off of him and Chase helped him up.
"What happened?" Chase asked.
"I don't know. I was in here doing inventory and when I turned the corner I tripped on something and everything fell" Douglas said.
I looked down and furrowed my eyebrows when I noticed something on the ground nearby.
I walked over to it and picked it up and to my shock it was a trip wire.
Someone put this here on purpose.
"Well, we know one thing. This was no accident. Someone stung a trip wire" I said while turning to the others.
I showed them the trip wire and their eyes all widened in shock.
Chase took the trip wire from me and started examining it.
"You're right. And it was stretched from here to here, which means, it had to have been someone with at least... 12-foot arms" Adam nodded while holding his arms out.
We all gave him weird looks while Chase rolled his eyes and turned to Douglas.
"Someone rigged that wire to the explosives. If it had worked, the whole place would've blown, with you in it" Chase said.
Douglas eyes widened in shock and fear.
When Chase said that I shivered in fear.
That just reminded me of when Sebastain trapped me in here and blowed up the place with me in it just so he could kill me.
I try and forget that day but it's just stuck in my mind.
To think that if I hadn't had the keys in my jacket pocket, unhandcuffed myself and geo-leaped out of there before the explosion happened I could've died.
I shook that away, trying to just forget about that and focus on what's going on now.
Adam took the wire from Chase, crouched down in front of Otis and put the wire near his mouth.
"Otis, sniff. Okay. Go get the bad guy" Adam said.
After Otis sniffed the wire he walked away to get the bad guy.
But to our confusion he just walked over to Chase.
We were all confused while Adam seemed to believe it and gasped.
"I knew it! It was you!" Adam yelled while pointing to Chase.
We all gave him looks of disbelief as Alexis smacked his arm.
"Babe, he lives here!" Alexis yelled and Chase nodded.
"Yeah, why would I want to blow this place up?" Chase asked.
"Don't ask me to explain the motives of a mad man. Let me measure your arms" Adam said.
Before Chase could even protest Adam turned him around and stretched out his arms, making me sigh in annoyance.
"Got a tape measure?" Adam asked to me, Alexis and Douglas.
"Oh, shoot, I forgot my ruler" Adam groaned.
"Babe come on stop" Alexis sighed, trying to get Adam to stop.
"You can't measure his arms, it's not Chase" Douglas said and I nodded.
"Guys, quiet" Adam said.
We all just groaned in annoyance while shaking our heads at him.
A Few Minutes Later
Me and Chase were in the common area, looking at his tablet to check out the security cameras in the weapons area to see who set that trap.
When we finally managed to see who it was, we were both in shock.
It was Otis.
Otis set that trap in the weapons area and nearly killed Douglas.
But why would he do that?
Aren't him and Douglas best friends?
Douglas then walked over to us, looking stressed and worried.
"I've been all over the academy, and I can't find Otis anywhere" Douglas said.
Then all of a sudden Adam came running towards us and starts sniffing Douglas for some reason.
"And this one, I can't get rid of. Hey, cut it out!" Douglas yelled as he tried to get Adam away from him.
"I'm trying, but I can't" Adam sighed in annoyance.
We all looked at him weirdly as his head perked up in interest and he turned around.
"Ooh, I heard a cat" Adam gasped.
"Get down" Douglas said and Adam obeyed and sat down on the ground.
Me and Chase looked at each other as we sighed and shook our heads.
Chase took his tablet from me and we walked over to Douglas so we could show him the footage.
"We found out what happened in the explosives area. Look" Chase said as he held out his tablet for Douglas to see.
Douglas furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as he moved closer to look at the footage.
I pressed play on the footage as we all looked at it.
Douglas's eyes widened and he gasped in shock when we showed him the footage of Otis placing the wire on the ground.
He looked at both of us and we nodded.
"Yeah. Otis was the one who tried to take you out" I said and Chase nodded.
"That's impossible. We've always been best friends" Douglas said in denial.
We all heard growling and turned around to see Otis.
But then to our shock we saw that his eyes were flashing red.
Douglas chuckled nervously as he looked towards us.
"Red means love, right?" Douglas asked.
Me and Chase both gave him 'seriously' looks while all he did was just shrug.
"I better scan his chip to see what's going on" Chase said and we nodded.
He pressed his fingers against his temple and started scanning his chip.
"He's got super strength, heat vision, and an override app" Chase said in confusion.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as I looked at Douglas.
"Why would you give Otis an override app?" I asked.
"I didn't. Why would a dog need..." Douglas started but stopped as his eyes widened.
He looked at the both of us and snapped his fingers together in realization.
"Wait a minute. It must've been Krane. After I turned on him, I bet he reprogrammed Otis' chip and gave him a mission. Find me a take me out" Douglas said.
Me and Chase looked at each other in worry as we looked back at him.
"And now, he's controlling Adam to help him do it, which is why he's acting like a dog" I said and Chase nodded.
We all turned around to see Adam standing up and growling at us.
"Adam, stop. You have to fight it" Chase said as me and Douglas nodded.
Adam still didn't stop as he continued growling at us and was starting to move closer towards us.
"Can't you use your override app on him?" Douglas asked.
Me and Chase turned around and gave him annoyed looks.
"No! I can't override an override app, Guy-Who-Built-Me!" Chase sarcastically said in annoyance.
Douglas glared at him while I glared back at him and rolled my eyes.
Adam then lunges towards us as Otis started barking.
We were all quick to move away from him as Douglas grabbed a nearby broom and pointed it at Adam.
"Okay, you are a bad dog!" Douglas yelled.
Adam looked at him weirdly and I took the opportunity to run at him and jump on his back.
But then in a flash he threw me off his back and I landed hard on the ground.
Chase did the same as they both started moving around before Adam threw him to the ground and he landed next to me.
Adam turned around to face Douglas and frowned.
"Oh, come on! How could I not get a treat for that?" Adam asked.
Douglas looked at him weirdly before Adam gasped.
"Ooh, I know. I'll throw them harder" Adam said.
Me and Chase quickly got off the ground as Adam ran at Chase as they both started fighting.
I turn around to see Douglas and Otis standing in front of each other as Douglas was still holding the broom to shield himself.
"Otis, please don't make me use this" Douglas begged.
Otis lunges and bites the broom, resulting it being ripped in half.
"Okay. Please don't make me use these" Douglas said, gesturing to the two sticks.
I rolled my eyes and flinched when Otis started growling at us.
Chase then ran back over to us, panting heavily.
"Hey! I got an idea. Run!" Chase yelled while pointing to the direction of the training area.
Me and Douglas both turned around and gave him 'serioulsy' looks.
"Run? That's your idea, smartest guy in the world?" Douglas asked in annoyance.
Chase glared at him while I sighed in annoyance and smacked his arm.
"Just go!" Chase yelled before running out of the room.
Douglas looked at me but all I did was shrug and nodded, telling him to do what Chase said.
"Who wants the stick? Who wants the stick?" Douglas asked.
He pretended to throw the stick across the room, distracting Otis and Adam as we both made a run for it.
We ran into the training area, I ran on top of the platform while Douglas ran and hid behind the punching bag.
He used his two sticks as a weapon as Otis ran into the room and stopped in front of him and started growling.
Adam ran in and just looked around.
Chase then ran back in with two balls in his hands.
"Otis. Adam. Look what I got" Chase said.
"Oh, it's a ball" Adam gasped as he got down on his knees.
"You want the ball? You want the ball?" Chase asked.
"Yes, I do, I do, I do. I want the ball. I want the ball. Give me the ball, give me the ball" Adam nodded rapidly.
"Go and get the ball" Chase said as he threw the ball and Adam ran after it.
We turned around to see that Otis was still in his place, he hadn't ran after the ball like Adam did.
"Come on, Otis. You know you want it. Who's a good doggie? Go get the ball!" Chase yelled as he threw the ball.
But Otis still didn't move.
"Fine. Um...ahem. You stay here. I'll go get the ball" Douglas said.
He tried leaving but Otis started barking at him, making Douglas flinch as he hid back behind the punching bag.
"This is going to be hard" I sighed in annoyance.
A Few Minutes Later
We've been trying so hard to capture Otis but nothing was working because he was too fast and his barking was so loud and scary.
Douglas was on top of the hydraloop, holding the chip extractor in his hands as Otis was on the ground barking up at him.
Me and Chase were standing next to each other, trying to figure out what to do.
Adam ran back in with the ball in his mouth.
He kneeled down and dropped the ball to the ground.
Chase bent down and picked it up, but we both cringed in disgust when we saw that it was covered saliva.
"How did you get this much saliva on it?" I asked.
"That's not saliva" Adam chuckled.
Chase groaned in disgust as he threw the ball and Adam ran after it.
"If one of you can find a way to distract Otis, I can use the chip extractor on him" Douglas said.
"How? We've tried everything. Balls, toys, bones" I said and Chase nodded.
"You have bones?" Adam asked.
We turned around and glared at him as he shrugged and ran back into the training area.
We both sighed and turned back to Douglas.
"Everything a dog likes, but they only work on Adam" Chase said and I nodded.
Wait. Otis was always crazy about peanut butter" Douglas said, snapping his fingers.
"I'm on it" Chase nodded as he kissed me on the cheek before running out of the room.
Otis growled at Douglas while Douglas frowned, looking more nervous and scared.
"Come on, Otis. I saved your life. I love you, man. You don't wanna hurt me" Douglas said in a pleading tone.
But then Otis fires his heat vision at Douglas, which he luckily dodged by using the chip extractor.
"Or maybe you do" Douglas chuckled nervously.
"No shit sherlock" I scoffed, causing Douglas to glare down at me.
"I got it!" Chase yelled as he ran back into the room.
Otis turned to look at him as Chase held the jar in front of Otis.
"Hey, Otis, look what I got" Chase said as he slowly walked towards him.
"Look, Otis. Peanut butter. It's your favorite" Douglas said.
Otis did look at it for a few seconds, but went back to looking at Douglas and started growling and barking at him.
"It's not working. We have to think bigger. Much bigger" I sighed while running a hand through my hair.
Chase started thinking, trying to come up with a plan.
Then his eyes widened in realization as he nodded and ran out of the room.
"Bubba, where are you going?" I asked.
"I'll be back!" Chase yelled.
I sighed and turned back around and looked back up at Douglas.
"Are you going to come down or stay there forever?" I asked.
"Do you want me to die?" Douglas asked in annoyance.
"Considering it" I shrugged, earning a glare from him.
A minute passed and I heard footsteps from behind me but I was still busy looking at Otis and Douglas.
"Oh, Otis" I heard Chase say from behind me.
I turned around as did Otis and my eyes widened and my jaw dropped.
Chase was covered head to toe in peanut butter, he was a mess but he was too busy looking at Otis.
Otis has his full attention on him, but he kept looking back at Douglas and back at Chase and continued doing it.
"I'm extra chunky" Chase said while moving his arms around.
Otis finally gives in as he lunges at Chase as he ran away and soon they were both running while Chase was screaming.
"My legs are sticking, my legs are sticking!" Chase yelled as he continued running.
Chase ran into the training area with Otis following behind him as Douglas took the chance to drop back down.
We both ran into the training room, only to see Otis trapped in a net.
"Good idea with the net, Chase" Douglas smiled.
"Yeah, nice work bubba" I smiled.
"Thanks! Mr. Davenport installed it just--" Chase started but Douglas cut him off.
"Yeah, no one cares" Douglas said while waving him off.
I giggled while Chase scoffed and rolled his eyes.
Douglas then used the chip extractor on him and soon Otis's chip was removed.
"There. Got his chip" Douglas said.
Me and Chase both sighed in relief as Douglas started petting Otis with a smile on his face.
"Oh, yeah, Otis is back. Hey, boy" Douglas smiled as he continued petting him.
Me and Chase smiled at the both of them.
Adam then ran back into the room as he dropped the ball to the ground and started panting heavily.
"Ugh, I'm exhausted. What's that smell?" Adam asked while sniffing and looking around.
His eyes landed on Chase and he gasped.
"Ooh, peanut butter" Adam smiled as he ran at Chase and tackled him to the ground.
They both landed on the ground as Adam started licking his face.
"Adam, stop" Chase said in annoyance as he tried getting him off of him.
"Don't blame me. It's the dog" Adam said as he continued licking his face.
"But Douglas removed his chip" I said as Douglas nodded.
Adam stopped licking as he turned to face us and grinned.
"Okay, it's me" Adam nodded before he went back to licking, making Chase more annoyed.
Douglas let got of Otis as he ran towards Chase and started licking his face as well.
"Otis" Chase groaned in annoyance.
Me and Douglas both looked at each other and started laughing.
A Few Minuntes Later
After everything that happened it was time that we said goodbye to Otis.
Douglas managed to find him a good home while Chase had tooken a shower to get the peanut butter off of him.
We were all walking into the common area with Otis walking in front of us.
"So, you found Otis a good home?" Chase asked.
"Yeah, big yard, kids, nice family. The Kranes" Douglas nodded.
We stopped walking as the three of us stared at him with wide eyes.
Douglas looked at us and quickly shook his head.
"No relation" Douglas said, making us sigh in relief.
Adam sighed as he crouched down in front of Otis and started petting him.
"All right, Otis, this is good-bye. You'll always be in my heart. And after eating all that grass, so will those worms" Adam said.
Me, Chase and Douglas looked at him weirdly but didn't say anything because we knew that he was really going to miss Otis.
Adam gave him one last pet before sighing and getting up from the ground.
We then heard footsteps and noises and turned around to see Bree and Leo walking in, fighting over something.
"Give me back that phone!" Bree yelled.
"Don't worry, Shelly, I got you!" Leo yelled.
"Don't listen to him, Liam. I'll save you!" Bree yelled.
They both continued fighting before the phone dropped to the ground.
Before either of them could grab it Otis walks over to the phone and pees on it.
Bree and Leo both gasped and cringed in disgust while me, Adam, Chase and Douglas were snorting.
The phone then started sparking, making Bree and Leo jump.
When the sparking stopped Bree and Leo looked down at the phone.
"You can have it" Bree said.
"No, I'm good" Leo said.
They both looked at each other before turning back around and walked away.
When they were gone we all huddled around Otis, grinning and laughing as we started petting him.
Yeah, we're going to miss him.
A Few Hours Later
Alexis's Pov
It's been a few hours since Douglas had left with Otis to take him with his new family since he couldn't stay here.
I really loved that cute dog, he was just so cute and cuddly.
Why did Chase have to be fucking allergic to him?
Stupid allergies.
Anyways, it's already the afternoon and I was in the common area while the others were probably in the training area.
I was looking out the big window, just observing what I could see from where I was.
I then felt strong pair of arms wrap around my waist, making me smile.
"What are you doing here by yourself baby?" Adam asked as he started placing soft kisses to my neck.
I shivered at his touch but smiled even more as I leaned more into him.
He laid his chin on my shoulder as I turned around to face him.
"I just wanted to be alone. Look outside from the window" I shrugged.
Adam smiled and nodded as I turned back around to look at the window.
I rested my hands on top of his and just let out a small soft sigh.
We stood in comfortable silence, the both of us just looking out the window together.
I bit my lip, wanting to tell Adam this now before I either chicken out or forget.
"Babe" I softly said.
"Yes baby?" Adam asked, placing more soft kisses to my neck.
I giggled and closed my eyes, leaning into the soft touch of his lips that were on my neck.
"Are you happy being with me?" I asked.
This made Adam scoff as he stopped with the kisses and looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
"What kind of question is that?" Adam asked.
I smiled softly at him as I turned around and cupped the side of his face with one hand and rested the other on his shoulder.
He placed his hands on my hips as he waited for me to answer.
"I guess I'm just a bit scared. We've been dating for a few weeks and I get worried that I might not be enough for you to be happy" I said.
Adam's face softened as he gently pressed our foreheads together.
"Baby don't ever think that. Of course I'm happy with being with you, you're the most amazing girlfriend I could ever ask for" Adam said.
I sighed and closed my eyes.
"I guess I feel that I'm just not good enough" I said.
When I said this Adam pulled me closer, making me open my eyes.
I blushed when I saw that he was glaring at me, it was both hot and scary.
"Baby don't ever say that. You're an amazing girlfriend. You're so sweet, caring, kind, sass, sarcastic and beautiful. You're always going to be good enough for me because nobody could ever compete with you" Adam softly but sternly said.
I smiled softly at him as we pulled our foreheads away from each other.
"Those are the many reasons why I love you" Adam smiled.
When he said that my entire heart stopped working and I stared at him with wide eyes in shock.
Did Adam just say he loves me?
Or did I just misheard?
"W...what?" I asked.
Adam smiled softly at me as his grip on my hips loosened a bit, so he wouldn't hurt me.
"I love you Alexis. There's no doubt that I'm absolutely in love with you. You're the only girl I want to be with. Nobody else but you, just you" Adam softly said.
I was speechless, which is understandable.
Adam just said he loved me.
I seriously didn't know what to think or how to even react to that.
I stared into those beautiful eyes of his, looking to see if he was lying or hesitant about what he just said.
But all I could see was pure love, passion, honesty and softness.
This made me snap out of my shocked state as I closed my eyes and pulled him in for a kiss.
The kiss was full of nothing but love, just love.
I felt his hands remove from my hips as he wrapped them around my waist and pulled me even closer to his body.
I cupped his face with both hands as we continued kissing.
He licked my bottom lip and I slowly let him.
I moaned when he didn't hesitate to deepen the kiss.
We pulled away, panting just a bit so we could catch our breath.
We then smiled at each other and pressed our foreheads against each others.
"I love you too Adam" I smiled.
"Thank goodness. I was getting a bit scared" Adam said, making me giggle.
"Press those lips back on me and I'll make you happy instead of scared" I said with a small smirk.
He chuckled before pressing his lips back on mine, making me smile as I kissed him back.
Yeah, I stand by what I said.
I love Adam.
I love him and him only and nothing will ever change that.
