It is about an hour later and Sam, Emmett, Oliver and I are getting ready to talk to the audience to present our album.
I was holding Sam's hand and we were all standing back stage.
Julia- hello everyone, and thank you for coming today! It means everything to these kids that you came to support their album, and they are really excited to have you hear it, so now, let's have them come out and say a few things
We all walked on stage and waved to everyone. Julia handed Sam the mic and he started talking.
Sam- hey guys! My name is Sam, and I play bass guitar. And honestly, Julia couldn't have said it any better. We are so thankful for all of you to be here, and we could never do this without her. It all started off with Emmett, Oliver and I, and we really didn't know what we were doing.
Everyone laughed.
Sam- it was literally just three teenage boys who wanted to make a band. All we needed was a lead singer, and we had the hardest time finding one. But then, a girl moved from bright big New York to boring old Stoneybrook, and I knew she had something. Not only did I have the biggest crush on her, but she was amazing at everything she did. Then when I heard her sing for the first time, I knew she was the one.
I smiled.
Sam- now we are standing here in front of about 300 people, and we made our first album together. Enjoy!
We all walked off stage as the audience clapped. We sat down at our table with Olivia and Charlie and we watched the screen as it started playing a preview to the album. It interviewed all four of us and even some family and friends. Then once it was done the music videos started. Up first was Brutal. This is the order they went in...

We put Stand By You last because it was one of the most important songs to us. We made it to remind ourselves that we aren't alone and that there are people here to help us.
When the playlist was over everyone applauded and we all high fives each other and laughed. This was all surreal.
I got up and hugged Sam and he hugged me back and pecked my lips.
We then walked with Emmett and Oliver and we said hi to some people and talked with a lot of other celebrities.
Within a couple hours we all gained a pretty large platform, and we had the majority of the people at the party follow us.
We even talked with Taylor Swift. I definitely fan girled a bit, but that's ok, it's Taylor Swift, who wouldn't?
Right now we were talking with some of the Stranger Things cast when I turned around and saw someone who looked oddly familiar. I looked at Sam and then back at the guy. Then it hit me... oh no.
I nudged Sam.
Lilliana- Sam, look
Sam- why? Is something wrong?
Lilliana- look!
He turned around and looked at who I was looking at. He froze for a second and then grabbed my hand and pulled me to the nearest private room in the banquet hall.
He kept pacing around the room, panicked because of who he saw.
Sam- who would invite him here?
Lilliana- your mom is the only one who could have. Unless Charlie and Kristy somehow did, but that doesn't seem like them
Sam- Lilli, listen to me. Stay away from him.
Lilliana- why?
Sam- because I just don't want you near him, ok? I don't know what he would say to you, and I don't want you hurt
Lilliana- baby, look at me... he can't hurt me. Maybe there's a reason why he's here... maybe he wants to connect with you again
Sam- yeah, to then destroy me like he did when he left me when I was only eight. Lilli I don't think you get it. Not having a dad for years of my life, and then he all of a sudden just randomly shows up at something that means so much to me. You have a perfect life, Lilli. You have both of your parents and even a sister, but my parents are divorced and I don't even talk to my dad anymore!
Lilliana- I don't have a perfect life, and you know that
Sam- well at least you have a dad!
Lilliana- ok, and? I had a fucking eating disorder, you don't have health issues, do you?
Sam- health issues has nothing to do with it! Family is everything and you know that Lilli! I was always there for you. When your mom wasn't talking to you for over a month, and when you and your sister weren't in good terms, I was there. But now when I needed something from you, you're making it worse!
Lilliana- *whispers* I'm sorry....
Sam- wait, Lilli-
I turned away and walked out of the room. I felt tears at the corner of my eyes as I started walking around the crowded room, trying to find someone I knew. I was practically running and I could barely breath.
Then I felt a hand on my shoulder and they pulled me back. I turned around frightened to see Olivia and Charlie who looked worried.
Olivia- what's the matter?
Charlie- Lilli, what's going on?
Lilliana- n-not here
Olivia and Charlie grabbed my hands and led me to a room. They sat me down in a chair.
Olivia- Lilli, just breathe
Charlie- deep breaths, Lilli, it's alright
Lilliana- I-I can't
Olivia- yes you can
Charlie- I'll go get Sam
Lilliana- no, don't
Charlie- Lilli he can help you-
Lilliana- we got into a fight
They looked shocked. Sam and I never fight, this is the first real fight we've ever had, and they knew that.
Olivia- are you serious?
Lilliana- yeah...
Charlie- over what?
Lilliana- your dad is here... we were talking about it and he said that I had a perfect life, when we all know my life is anything from perfect, and I told him that. He talked about how I actually had a dad, and family is everything and health issues apparently has nothing to do with it. He said that he was there when I needed him, but when we needed me to stay away from his dad, I just made everything worse...
Olivia- that son of a bitch
She stormed off. I put my head in my hands and started crying. Charlie put his hand on my back and gently rubbed it.
I got up and hugged Charlie. He hugged me back and kissed the top of my head, not in a weird way. Charlie was always like a big brother to me, so this wasn't awkward.
Charlie- let's go find Olivia before she kills him
I nodded and we left. He held my hand as we went to go find Olivia and Sam. We found them in a room with Liz, Watson, Kristy and his dad who was off in the corner.
She was yelling at him, clearly pissed, while he was silently crying with his head down.
Once Olivia saw us she stopped and glared at Sam. He looked at me with red eyes, telling me he had been crying just as much as I had. I walked up to him and put a hand on his cheek.
He couldn't take it anymore and he engulfed me in a hug. I hesitantly hugged him back.
Sam- Lilli, I'm so sorry... I was just upset and I shouldn't have taken it all off on you. You mean so much to me and I don't want to fight with you. I shouldn't have talked to you like I did, because I know your life isn't perfect, cause nobody's is, and your health does matter, ok? I love you with all my heart, and nothing could ever change that
Lilliana- it's ok... I know... I love you too
I pulled out of the hug and lightly kissed his lips. He kissed me back, and smiled. I smiled back and he kissed my nose.
Olivia- yeah... I should probably say sorry too... I shouldn't have yelled like that either...
Sam- *chuckle* that's ok, Liv. You were knocking some sense into me, I appreciate it
Olivia- you know what, I shouldn't say sorry. I am the reason Silli is a thing, your relationship wouldn't exist without me!
I laughed and playfully rolled my eyes.
Sam's dad- was the fight my fault?
We all went quiet. I forgot he was even there...
Sam looked at me and I looked back at him. He grabbed my hand and pulled me over to his dad.
Sam- Lilli, this is my dad... dad this is my girlfriend Lilliana
Dad- nice to meet you, Lilli
Lilliana- you too...
Dad- can I talk to all of you kids for a minute?
Charlie- I guess so
Sam, Charlie and Kristy started walking with him. Then he turned around and looked at Olivia and I.
Dad- you too
I hesitantly walked over and so did Olivia.
Why does he want to talk to all of us?
