Bree's Pov
It's only been a day since the incident with Krane and his bionic soldiers.
Krane was gone, which was a good thing, but the bad thing about all of this was that Luna got seriously hurt and is in the hospital.
And this is worse than the Spike incident.
Everyone is trying to remain strong and we're all confident and sure that Luna is going to make it.
I mean this is Luna we're talking about, that girl is stronger than any of us here and I know she's going to make it.
If there's anything I know about my sister is that she's going to make it. I know she will.
However, Chase isn't doing the best.
Out of all of us he's the worst, but I can't blame him since his girlfriend is in the hospital and she won't wake up.
He's barely left her room, the only time he left her room was to change out of his mission suit and honestly it worries me.
Right now I'm in the lab by myself while Adam went out to go and do something.
I heard footsteps and looked up from my phone to see Leo entering the lab with a smile on his face.
"Good news, Bree! Big D called from the hospital and said Luna's doing much better. She's gonna make it" Leo smiled.
My eyes widened in happiness as a huge smile appeared on my face.
"Awesome! That's amazing" I smiled and he nodded.
"Yep. Soon she'll be back here making her sassy comments and making me wish she was unconscious a little bit longer" Leo said.
I rolled my eyes at him and hit his arm.
"Don't say that, no matter how sassy or sarcastic she is she's apart of this family and she's my sister. I miss her" I said.
"I do too, but where's Chase I want to tell him the good news" Leo said while looking around.
I sighed and shook my head.
"He's still in her room, he hasn't left since that day" I said, causing him to sigh.
"Maybe I'll tell him later, he probably still wants to be alone" Leo said and I nodded.
"Good idea, he doesn't seem like he wants to see anyone at the moment" I said.
Like I said Chase has really been doing terrible ever since Luna got hurt by Krane and got taken to the hospital.
He just isn't the same without her.
Those two have been together for three years and I know for a fact that he loves her just as much as she loves him.
I don't know what would happen to him if he ever lost her, if we ever lost her.
I shook my head and pushed those negative thoughts away.
"It's like I said, I really miss her. Although it has been nice having the hairspray all to myself" I said.
Leo let out a small laugh and nodded.
"Oh, actually, Adam's been using it, too. He's developing new hairstyles for his armpits. You wouldn't think it, but the ponytails are surprisingly cute" Leo smiled.
I looked at him weirdly before smiling and rolling my eyes.
"You know, we should have traded Adam for one of Krane's bionic soldiers when we had the chance" I joked.
Both me and Leo burst out in small laughter when I said that. But then my eyes widened in realization when I said that.
"Oh, no. The soldiers! I was so worried about Luna I completely forgot about them" I said.
Leo smiled at me and shook his head and gently patted my shoulder.
"Relax. I'm sure they're fine. Now that the Triton App is deactivated, they're just normal teenagers" Leo said.
I felt a bit more relaxed than before until Leo continued talking.
"Normal teenagers roaming the streets with deadly bionic abilities. We need to find them!" Leo yelled and I nodded.
We were about to get ready and leave the lab when Adam walked in.
"Find who?" Adam asked in confusion.
"Krane's soldiers" I said and Leo nodded.
"Oh, I think I can help with that" Adam smiled, causing me and Leo to look at him in confusion.
He then took us upstairs and to our shock all of the bionic soldiers were in our living room.
Mine and Leo's eyes widened in shock while Adam was smiling, we both looked at him in shock and anger.
"You invited 30 bionic soldiers into our home?" Leo asked.
"No, I invited one. The other 29 were hiding in the bushes and followed us home" Adam said.
"That doesn't make things any better you idiot" I said in annoyance.
Adam just shrugged and walked over to some of the soldiers and a few gathered around him and stood in a straight line together.
"Bree, Leo, I don't think you guys have been formally introduced to our friends" Adam smiled as he started going through the names of each bionic soldier.
"This is S-5, S-6, S-7, S-8 and--" Adam started but stopped at a girl soldier and let out a small groan.
"Ha, I'm sorry, I forgot your name" Adam said.
Me and Leo just rolled our eyes at him, then a cute boy walked over to us with a smile on his face.
"Hi, I'm S-3" S-3 smiled as he extended his hand for us to shake and just when I was about to shake it my eyes widened in realization.
"Hold on, I know who you are. You tried to kill my brother!" I yelled while pointing at him.
I remember Chase fighting him back at the junkyard, he nearly killed Chase but of course Chase managed to knock him out.
"Why would I do that? I don't even know you, friend" S-3 smiled as he tried patting my shoulder but Leo smacked his hand away.
"We're not your friend. You used electro-fork thingy on our brother. And friends don't electro-fork thingy friends" Leo said.
I looked at him weirdly but nodded either way.
"I don't remember that, but if I hurt you or your brother, I'm sorry" S-3 softly said until Adam shook his head and gently placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Whoa, dude. Never apologize for hurting Chase" Adam said.
Me and Leo just gave him annoyed looks while S-3 looked a bit confused.
"Wait. So do you remember anything?" I asked.
"I remember my name is S-3, these are my brothers and sisters, and we followed this smart guy here" S-3 smiled while patting Adam on the back.
Me and Leo looked at each other before looking back at them.
"Well, he obviously doesn't remember what the word 'smart' means" Leo said and I nodded.
"They don't remember anything. It's like they're bionic blank slates" I said while crossing my arms.
Adam then smiled at us while clapping his hands together.
"Can we keep 'em? Most of 'em are potty-trained. S-27's still a work-in progress" Adam said.
"No, we can't keep them. Just 24 hours ago, they were trying to destroy us" Leo said and I nodded.
"Plus, Mr. Davenport and Luna would freak out if he came home to 30 bionic soldiers" I said and Leo nodded.
"All right" Adam sighed before turning to look at the soldiers.
"S-30, take a hike. S's 1 through 29, welcome home" Adam grinned as him and S-3 fist-bumped each other.
I sighed and ran my hands through my hair. In times like this I really wish Luna was here.
"Forget Big D and Luna, it's my mom I'm worried about. She's still not sold on you three living here" Leo said to me and Adam and of Chase but he's not here.
We looked at him before he realized what he said and looked a bit nervous.
"But you didn't hear it from me" Leo said and me and Adam just nodded.
"Fine, I'll get rid of them. Come on, dude, I'll help you pack your stuff" Adam said as he turned to face S-3.
"We don't have any stuff" S-3 shrugged.
Adam gave him a look of pity and turned to us before smiling and turning back to S-3 and patted him on the back.
"Don't worry, I got you covered" Adam smiled.
He then managed to get some clothes and started handing them out to the soldiers who were all smiling and looking at the clothes in awe.
"Here you go. Take as much as you want" Adam smiled as he handed a shirt to S-3.
"Thank you" S-3 smiled gratefully at him and he nodded.
I then took a closer look at the clothes and my eyes widened in realization when I saw that those were Chase's clothes he was handing out.
"Adam, those are Chase's clothes" I said.
"Yeah, I hope you're all a boy's small" Adam smiled while looking at the soldiers.
Me and Leo just looked at each other and just sighed while rolling our eyes.
At The Hospital
Leo's Pov
After the whole bionic soldiers staying at our house I decided to go to the hospital to visit Luna. So I quickly changed, bought her some nice gifts and left.
When I got there I told the lady at the front desk my name and that I was here to see Luna.
She told me the room she was in and let me in.
I made my way around the hospital and got into the elevator to head to the room that Luna was in.
When I got there I smiled and opened the door.
I saw mom and Big D sitting on chairs and they were both sitting on either side of Luna's bed.
They turned around to look at me and their eyes widened in shock and worry as mom got up from her seat and made her way over to me.
"Leo! What are you doing here?" Mom asked.
"It's time for my 12:30 sponge bath. What do you think I'm doing here?" I sarcastically asked.
She just rolled her eyes at me and sighed while I looked over at Luna.
My eyes widened in shock and confusion when I saw that Luna was still unconscious and laying on her bed, and her eyes were still shut.
"What's going on? Big D said she was doing better. That doesn't look better" I said as I placed the gifts on a nearby table.
Mom and Big D both looked at each other in worry before mom looked at me with a nervous smile.
"Of course she's better. Look at her, she's pale, lifeless, surrounded by technology. That's the girl I consider my daughter" Mom smiled.
Big D smiled as well but I crossed my arms and gave them both 'really' looks.
They both sighed in defeat as Big D got up from his chair and walked over to me.
"I'm sorry, Leo. I just didn't want you guys to worry. They're doing everything they can" Big D said.
"But she's still the same when she first got here. She hasn't even opened her eyes" I said as I made my way over to her bed and sat down next to her.
"She got hit pretty badly by that blast. Not to mention that her body and head hit a metal pole, some of her bones broke because of that" Big D explained.
Mom nodded and sighed as Big D wrapped an arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer.
"Don't worry Leo, they're still doing everything they can. But for right now it's still touch and go" Mom said.
I let out a small sigh and nodded before turning back around to face Luna.
A sad small smile appeared on my face as I gently grabbed onto her hand.
"Hey Luna, it's me Leo. It's good to see you, though I would like for you to actually wake up and talk to you instead of talking to your unconscious body" I lightly joked.
I earned small laughs from my mom and Big D.
I let a small sigh escape my lips as small tears started streaming down my cheeks.
"Please wake up Luna. We miss you, Douglas misses you, Adam misses you, Bree misses you, Big D misses you, mom misses you, I miss you" I said.
I closed my eyes and held onto her arm tighter.
"Out of everyone Chase misses you the most. He's lost without you and doesn't know what's going to happen. Please just wake up, wake up" I whispered.
I hung my head and closed my eyes as tears continues streaming down my face and I held onto her hand tighter.
Wake up Luna, wake up.
Not much time has passed, maybe only like 40 minutes.
I was still at the hospital in Luna's room, waiting and just talking to her.
I know it's not the same since I'm just talking to her unconsciou body but it's something at least so I'm alright with that.
Mom and Big D were both sitting together on one chair with mom on Big D's lap as they were both taking a nap.
While they were sleeping I just continued talking to Luna, to try and pass some time.
"Then Adam, Bree & Chase shot Krane into the sky. He looked like a big bald evil bird. Ooh! And I used my energy transference ability to finish off S-1" I grinned.
I continued looking at Luna's unconscious body while holding onto her hand.
"Got to say, sorry you're sick but this is the most I've talked without you interrupting me with your sarcastic comments" I said while chuckling lightly.
A small smile appeared on my face as I continued holding onto her hand.
Then all of a sudden the machine that were around Luna's bed started beeping really loudly and it worried the hell out of me.
"Mom, Big D, what's happening?" I asked in worry.
They both woke up from their nap once the beeping started getting louder than before and just by looking at their faces I can tell they were worried.
"I don't know. Stay with her, we'll get the doctor" Mom said and Big D nodded.
They quickly got up from their chairs and left the room to get the doctor while I stayed with Luna.
I let go of her hand and stood up and started panicking because I don't know what's going on and I don't know what to do.
My worries started growing more when Luna started twitching and the machines continued beeping loudly.
I got annoyed and frustrated and made my way over to the stupid machines.
"Stop beeping!" I yelled while slamming my fist onto the machines.
I walked away, only for the beeping to stop and the machines start to flat-line.
My eyes widened when I realized the stupid mistake I did and quickly ran over to the machines.
"Oh, no! Start beeping! Start beeping!" I yelled as I strated tapping onto the machines and beeping comes back but it doesn't ease my worries.
"Somebody help!" I desperately yelled out while walking towards the door.
I needed someone to help, a doctor a nurse or anyone to help but nobody came.
But I grew more worried and scared when Luna started gasping for air and the machines start to flat-line.
"No! No! No! No! No! No!" I yelled while making my way back over to Luna.
Tears were starting to stream down my face. I didn't know what to do, I was completely helpless in this situation.
Then my eyes wandered over to my body and then to my bionic hand when an idea came to my head.
I let out a loud sigh and looked over at Luna with tears still streaming down my face.
"Okay, that's it. If this doesn't work, I'm really sorry Luna" I said.
I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths before placing my hand on my chest and started draining the energy out of my body using my energy transference ability.
Once enough energy was drained out of me I looked at Luna and placed my hand on top of her body.
The lights start twitching as Luna's back arched just a bit when putting my energy into her.
When I was done I removed my hand from her as the lights went back to normal and Luna stopped twitching.
"Please work" I silently begged.
I moved closer to Luna, waiting to see if what I did worked or not. I waited for a few seconds when all of a sudden her eyes shot open and she sat up from the bed gasping.
Luna's Pov
My body felt sore the entire time, everything hurt and my eyes were glued shut the entire time.
No matter how much I tried opening my eyes to wake up nothing would work so I just stopped.
I was still unconscious while feeling sore, at this point I think my body was just about ready to give up.
That was until I was suddenly starting to feel better.
The pain that was coursing through my body was suddenly disappearing, as if something was destroying the pain or taking it away.
Doesn't matter, the point is the pain was slowly disappearing.
When all the pain was away my eyes were suddenly getting ready to open, I was finally waking up after being unconscious for I don't know a day or something.
Then all of a sudden my eyes shot open and I sat up from my bed while gasping.
"Holy mother of shit!" I yelled in shock.
I took a few seconds to take a few deep breaths before looking around to see where I was.
I was in the hospital, again, there were a few chairs scattered around and I could see some gifts on top of a nearby table.
Turning my head I saw a shocked, happy and tired looking Leo staring at me while holding onto something for support.
"Leo, what's going on? What happened? Where's Krane? Is he gone?" I asked in confusion.
"Luna, you're ok. Oh thank goodness you're ok. Do you feel ok or are you in pain?" Leo asked.
I furrowed my eyebrows at him in confusion but nodded while looking at myself.
"Yeah, yeah I feel fine. I feel alot better actually" I said while smiling slightly.
"Good. 'Cause I don't" Leo said before he dropped to the ground.
My eyes widened in fear as I sat up a bit straighter and looked down at the ground.
"What the hell? Leo, Leo, buddy are you ok?" I asked as I removed the sheets from me and slowly stood up from the bed.
Just when I was about to check on him the doors flew open and I turned around to see Tasha, dad and a doctor.
All three of them stared at me with wide eyes, clearly shocked.
"Luna!" Tasha yelled as she ran towards me.
"Pumpkin!" Dad yelled as he followed behind Tasha.
Before I could even get a word out they both engulfed me in a tight strong hug. I giggled and hugged them back.
I could hear sniffling from both of them, meaning that they're crying.
"Why are you guys crying?" I asked.
"You were hurt so badly, and you weren't waking up. We were so worried about you" Dad said while putting his head on top of my shoulder.
I smiled softly at him and kissed his cheek.
"Don't worry dad, I'm alright. I'm back and I'm not going anywhere" I reassured him as I continued hugging him and Tasha.
After that small cute reunion we pulled away from the hug and the doctor had me go back to my bed and run some test.
After running the test they said that I was ok but wanted me to stay here for a few more hours for a few more test.
They had also checked on Leo since he passed out too but luckily he seems fine.
The doctor had left the room, leaving just me, Tasha, Leo and dad.
Tasha was standing next to Leo as he was sitting on a chair while I was sitting on my bed with dad sitting next to me side hugging me.
"Honey, are you okay?" Tasha asked while gently rubbing Leo's shoulder.
"I'm okay" Leo nodded.
"Are you sure? Are you hurt? Do you need something?" I asked in worry.
Leo chuckled and shook his head at me.
"Luna I'm fine don't worry, if anything we should be asking if you're ok" Leo said, earning nods of agreement from both Tasha and dad.
"Yeah, how are you feeling sweetie?" Tasha softly asked.
"I feel fine for the most part so no need to worry" I said with a small smile.
"Are you sure? Does anything hurt? Do you need something? Food or water?" Dad asked.
I let out a small giggle and kissed his cheek and laid my head on his shoulder.
"Don't worry dad, I'm doing much better. I promise, there's no need to worry" I reassured him.
He let out a sigh of relief as he hugged me tighter and kissed my temple, this made me smile as I hugged him back.
Tasha and Leo smiled at us before Tasha's phone rang and she took it out of her pocket.
"Oh, I need to take this I'll be right back" Tasha said as she kissed Leo's cheek before leaving the room.
"Well, I'm just glad you're doing alright pumpkin. You had me worried, along with everyone else. Why didn't you let Krane blast me instead of you?" Dad asked.
I rolled my eyes but giggled as I pulled away from the hug.
"Sorry if I worried you guys, but I wasn't about to let Krane hurt you. You mean too much to me" I smiled.
He smiled back at me and kissed my forehead.
"I love you pumpkin" Dad smiled.
"I love you too dad" I smiled before letting out a sigh of relief.
"I guess fate must like me just a little bit and decided I should continue living" I lightly joked, earning a laugh from dad.
I expected Leo to laugh as well but he had a small smile on his face and he looked nervous.
Before I could as him what was wrong he let out a small sigh.
"Luna, fate didn't save you. I did" Leo said.
I looked at him weirdly before looking at dad who had the same expression as me as we both looked back at Leo and let out small laughs.
"Yeah. Leo, I've seen your grades, you're no doctor" Dad said through laughs.
"I'm serious. I used my energy transference ability to transfer some of my energy into Luna" Leo said.
My eyes widened in shock along with dad's but I was mostly filled with worry too.
"You what? Leo, the human body was not meant to be tapped as an energy source" I said and dad nodded.
"It's not meant to be bleached, plucked, or tucked either, but that hasn't stopped Big D" Leo said and I rolled my eyes at him.
"Leo why would you do that? That's dangerous and who knows what could happen. You could get hurt, or worse" I said.
"Luna's right. By giving her energy, you depleted your own. There could be serious side effects" Dad nodded.
"I had to do something. Your life was on the line, the machines were beeping and flat-lining. You could've died if I hadn't done what I did. And there was no way in hell I was going to allow my sister to die" Leo said.
My eyes widened in shock at what he just said.
Did he just call me his sister?
"Wh..what, what did you just call me?" I asked, still in shock.
Leo smiled softly at me as he slowly got up from the chair and walked over to me. He kneeled down in front of me and gently grabbed my hands.
"Luna, you're not only my best friend. You're my sister, you've always been my sister. We might have our moments, but at the end of the day you're family. I will do whatever it takes just to keep you safe, and that's a promise" Leo smiled.
I stared at him, still in shock.
I then snapped out of my shocked state as tears streamed down my cheeks and I pulled Leo into a tight hug.
He chuckled and hugged back while laying his head on my shoulder.
"You're not just my best friend. You're my brother Leo and I don't care if we're related by blood or not. You're always going to be my brother" I softly said.
I heard him let out a small laugh as he hugged me tighter.
"I love you sis" Leo smiled.
"I love you too bro" I smiled back.
We were still hugging each other until we pulled away when we heard crying and sobbing.
We turned around, only to see dad crying his eye out while covering his mouth.
Me and Leo looked at him weirdly as he was trying to wipe his tears.
"Don't judge me, that speech was just so beautiful and adorable. You two are wonderful siblings" Dad said before going back to crying and sobbing.
Me and Leo looked at each other before we burst out laughing.
We continued laughing while shaking our heads at dad.
A Few Minutes Later
After a few more test the doctor said that everything was alright and that I could go home, thank the lords.
Tasha had provided me some clothes and a bag to put in the gifts that Leo had gave me when he came to visit.
I was putting on my leather jacket when dad and Leo walked into the room.
"Luna, pumpkin, we got your discharge papers" Dad smiled while showing me a yellow folder filled with papers.
"Yep, you're free to go. And thank goodness because I'm sure everyone at home is waiting to see you" Leo smiled.
"Not as much as I am waiting to see them. Especially Chase" I said.
"He's been a mess without you, hopefully this gets him back to the way he was before" Leo said.
"Honey, is that a gray hair?" Tasha asked while touching Leo's hair.
"Could be. I thought it was obvious, but you and Big D really stress me out" Leo said, earning eyerolls from both adults while I giggled.
Leo then turned around and I grabbed my bag when I was startled by both Tasha and dad yelling.
"What's wrong?" both me and Leo asked in worry.
"Your whole head is turning gray" Tasha said in worry.
I turned around, only for my eyes to widen in shock when I saw that the entire backside of Leo's head was turning gray.
"Oh, no. That must be a side effect of his energy transference ability" Dad said in worry.
This made Tasha turn around with wide eyes as she looked at him.
"His what?" Tasha asked.
This made dad worry when he realized what he said until I let out a sigh and decided to answer instead.
"The doctors didn't save me. Leo did. He transferred some of his energy into me. That must have sped up his aging process" I explained and dad nodded.
Tasha looked at us in shock before glaring at dad and smacking his arm.
"Donald! How could you let him do that?!" Tasha asked.
"My daughter was unconscious!" Dad defended, causing both me and Leo to nod.
"Look, Tasha if could give it back, I would, but it doesn't work that way" I said and dad sighed while nodding.
"He must be aging years by the hour. I have to find a solution to this fast, or..." Dad said as we all looked at him in worry.
"Or what?" Leo asked as we all looked at him, waiting for him to answer.
Dad looked at us nervously as he started rubbing his arm and pointed at Tasha.
"Or Tasha may have found that gallbladder she's been looking for" Dad shrugged.
My eyes widened along with Leo and Tasha's as we grew more worried than before. We need to head back home right now.
A Few Hours Later
Ok, so the side effect was slowly kicking in more and Leo was slowly turning into an old man and it made all of us worry.
We had made it back to the house as we were walking towards the front door.
"I'm really worried about you, Leo" Tasha said and I nodded.
We stopped walking and turned around to wait for Leo to catch up to us.
His whole hair had now turned white, he's now wearing glasses and is walking with a cane to support himself.
"Yeah dude, we had to stop seven times so you could go to the restroom" I said and the others nodded.
"What did they say?" Leo asked a bit too loudly.
Dad sighed as he made his way over to him and looked at him straight in the eye.
"They said you have a weak bladder" Dad said and I nodded.
"Why do they need a ladder?" Leo asked and we all sighed in annoyance.
"Never mind" Dad said, a bit too loudly before turning to me and Tasha.
"I'm gonna go down to the lab and see if I can work up a serum to reverse the aging" Dad said and me and Tasha nodded.
"Good idea, he really needs it" I said before we looked back at Leo.
"I need to sit. Back in my day, places weren't so spread out" Leo said while waving his hand around.
"Dude, your 'day' was this morning" I deadpanned at him, causing Tasha to let out a small giggle.
Dad then tries helping Leo to the bench but Leo starts hitting dad with his cane, getting him to back off.
"No, I got it. Got it" Leo said in annoyance before slowly sitting on the bench.
Before we could go inside we started hearing some loud noises. There were people cheering, yelling and clapping and I swear I could hear some music playing.
"What on Earth is that noise?" Tasha asked.
Me and dad shrugged before dad walked over and opened the door and we all stepped inside.
Our eyes widened in complete shock by what we were seeing.
The entire bionic soldiers that literally tried to kill us were inside the house partying, along with Adam while Bree just stood there.
However, what did worry me was that I didn't see Chase?
Where was he?
"Hey!" Tasha yelled, causing all the noise and for the music to stop as Adam turned to face her and a smile appeared on his face.
"Oh hey Tasha!" Adam yelled.
This made all the bionic soldiers turn around with smiles on their faces as they waved at Tasha.
"Hey, Tasha!" all the soldiers yelled.
We all just glared at them while Adam and Bree slowly made their way over to us and looked at me with relieved yet nervous smiles.
"Luna, sis, you're not dead! Yay" Bree smiled.
"I can't tell if you really mean that or if you were being sarcastic" I scoffed at her.
Before she could answer dad angrily made their way over to them, still glaring at the bionic soldiers.
"What is going on? Why is the bionic army that tried to kill us in our house?!" Dad asked through gritted teeth.
"We had no choice. The government wants to lock them up" Bree said.
This made dad look at her in confusion and annoyance while I kind of understood why they were here.
"So?" Dad asked, not seeing what was wrong with the government locking them up.
A boy soldier that was in front of me turned to face me as a smile appeared on his face and he extended his hand for me.
"Hi, nice to meet you, I'm S-3" S-3 smiled.
I looked at him for a few seconds before slowly nodding and shaking his hand.
"Uh...nice to meet you, I'm Luna" I said as I pulled my hand away from his before turning back to Bree.
Before I could open my mouth to speak the doorbell rang and we all looked at the door.
"Oh, goody. More people!" Bree said in annoyance.
Tasha just rolled her eyes and sighed before turning around and opening the front door.
A few agents were behind the door and walked inside.
"I'm Agent Reed. The President sent us to assist in the search for the criminals" Agent Reed said before looking around to see the bionic soldiers.
"But it looks like you already found them. Good work. We'll take it from here" Agent Reed smiled before nodding to the other agents.
I can tell the bionic soldiers were getting nervous as they were slowly backing away.
"No, Mr. Davenport, this is not their fault. They were being controlled by the Triton App" Bree said and I nodded.
"Yeah dad. They're just like us" I said and Adam nodded.
"They're right. We should all be arrested" Adam said and we all gave him annoyed looks.
Dad sighed before walking towards Agent Reed.
"Is this necessary? I mean, what law have they actually broken?" Dad asked.
"Theft of government property, breaking and entering into the White House, and launching a bionic war against humanity" Agent Reed explained.
She then turned towards me and pointed her finger at me.
"Not to mention that their leader nearly killed your daughter and she was placed in the hospital and could've died" Agent Reed deadpanned.
Well damn, this lady takes her job seriously and knows her stuff.
"Oh. Well my daughter nearly dying I understand that. But that others seems like a slap on the wrist kind of a thing to me" Dad shrugged nervously but Agent Reed just rolled her eyes.
"Cuff 'em" Agent Reed said to her agents who nodded.
"Go!" S-3 yelled and they all geo-leaped away.
All of our eyes widened as we looked at Agent Reed to see that she was in shock as well.
"What just happened?" Agent Reed asked in shock and confusion.
"They geo-leaped away" I said but she still looked confused.
"See, essentially they can manipulate their molecular structure-" Dad started but was cut off by an annoyed Agent Reed.
"Short answer" Agent Reed said in annoyance.
"They're gone" Dad shrugged and we all nodded as she let out an annoyed sigh.
"Find them!" Agent Reed yelled to the other agents and they all quickly left the house.
Soon Leo walks into the house as Adam and Bree's eyes widened when they saw the state that he was in.
They looked to me for answers but I just sighed and waved them off.
"My knee's acting up. Must be rain. Either that or I'm starting to fall" Leo said and soon he slowly starts falling.
"Yup" Leo nodded as he started falling more.
Dad let out a small yell and ran towards him and managed to catch him before he could fall to the ground.
I sighed in relief as dad quickly took Leo down to the lab before taking off my bag and setting it on the couch and started looking around.
"Hey guys. Where's Chase? Is he here?" I asked.
Adam and Bree both looked at each other in worry before looking back at me, trying to figure out the right words to say.
But before they could answer we heard footsteps coming from upstairs, they were really loud, as if someone were running.
They stopped a few seconds later and a gasp was heard from behind me.
I turned around and gasped as well when I saw Chase standing a few feet behind me, except he didn't look like himself.
His hair was a mess, his clothes were all wrinkled, his eyes were red, his face was puffy and there were small black bags underneath his eyes.
"Chase" I whispered.
"Luna...Luna, sweetheart is that really you?" Chase asked.
I smiled softly at him and gently walked over to him and caressed his cheek.
"Don't worry bubba, it's me. It's me" I reassured him.
Without hesitation he wrapped his arms around me and englufed me in a tight ass hug, I lightly giggled and hugged him back as he rested his head on my shoulder.
I gently rubbed his back as he started quietly sobbing and sniffling.
"I missed you so much. I missed you so much" Chase said through sobs as he hugged me tighter.
My eyes softened as I let out a small sigh and kissed his head.
"Don't worry Chase, don't worry. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere" I softly said.
He didn't say anything other then hugging me tighter as he continued silently sobbing and sniffling.
I then felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to see Bree with Adam standing behind her.
"You don't know how worried he was about you. He didn't leave your room and didn't talk to us" Bree said.
"Was he really taking the whole thing badly?" I asked and they nodded.
"You should've seen his reaction when Leo told us that you were only just out of surgery but still touch and go" Adam said and Bree nodded.
I sighed and shook my head just a bit as I started gently stroking Chase's hair.
His arms were still wrapped around my waist as his head was still on my shoulder as he was sobbing and sniffling.
"It's ok Chase, it's ok. I promise that it's me, it's me and this is real. I'm alive" I whispered softly in his ear.
He didn't say anything, he just lifted his head up and slightly moved away to cup the sides of my face and pull me into a kiss.
I smiled and held onto his arms and kissed back.
We pulled away as he kissed me one more time before pressing our foreheads against each others.
"I love you" Chase whispered.
"I love you too" I whispered back.
He smiled before going back to hugging me with his head going back to my shoulder.
I sighed as I wrapped my arms around him nad gently rubbed his back with one hand and stroking his hair with the other.
In The Lab
After my reunion with Chase he refused to let me go.
We were practically attached by each others hip, literally.
But I honestly don't mind, I mean yeah sure I might've been asleep for a day but that didn't mean I didn't miss my amazing boyfriend.
Anyways, me and the trio set off to try and find the bionic soldiers but nothing.
We walked back into the lab to see dad standing next to Leo as he had a blanket wrapped around him and he was sitting on a chair.
"Any sign of the bionic army?" Dad asked.
"No. They could be anywhere" Bree sighed and I nodded.
"How's Leo?" Chase asked
"None of my anti-aging serums are working" Dad sighed in annoyance and worry.
"That's pretty obvious. I mean, look at you" Adam chuckled, causing dad to glare at him while I giggled.
The big screen turns on as we turned around to see that it was Mr. President calling us.
Dad quickly accepted the call and Mr. President appeared on the big screen.
"Mr. President" Dad said.
"Davenport, it's good to see you again. And Luna very nice to see you up and around" Mr. President smiled.
"Thank you sir" I politely said with a smile.
"Now. Where are those bionic soldiers?" Mr. President asked.
"I honestly have no idea, sir" Dad sighed while shrugging.
As soon as he said that all the bionic soldiers geo-leaped back into the lab, causing all of us to jump in surprise.
"Way to make me look good, guys" Dad sarcastically said as he turned back to face Mr. President.
"I'm sending my agents to collect them. You're responsible until they get there" Mr. President said while pointing at dad.
"Mr. President, these kids are harmless" Dad said and I nodded.
"We don't have any proof of that" Mr. President said.
I opened my mouth to speak but turned around only to see Leo dropping to the ground.
"Leo!" me and dad yelled as we quickly ran towards him and crouched down next to him.
Everyone else huddled around us as dad gently turned Leo around.
"Luna, sis" Leo said in a weak voice.
"Yes Leo, what is it bro?" I softly asked.
"It should have been you" Leo said, making me sigh and shake my head at him.
"What's going on?" Adam asked in worry as dad looked up at him.
"His time's running out" Dad said in worry before looking back down at Leo.
I glanced at the others in worry, not knowing what we're supposed to do because we're out of options.
Then I saw S-3 along with a few other soldiers gathering up some sort of red energy as they all walked over to Leo.
"Hey, what are they doing?" Bree asked.
"No. Get away from him!" Chase yelled as he tried pushing them away but I stood up along with dad and pushed him away.
"No bubba. Let them do it" I said as we all took a few steps back.
S-3 looked at the others and nodded as they all crouched down in front of Leo as they started placing the red energy into Leo.
The lights were starting to flicker on and off as Mr. President looked at us in worry.
"Davenport, Luna, what are they doing?" Mr. President asked.
Me and dad both looked at him as I crossed my arms and let a small smile appear on my face.
"They're saving my brothers life" I said.
We then turned back around to see that they were done putting the red energy into Leo as they stood back up and backed away from him.
Chase crouched in front of Leo to see if he was ok when he moved back in shock when Leo sat up from the ground with his eys wide open.
"Whoo-hoo! Ding dong. Leo's home! Whoo!" Leo yelled as he quickly stood up.
"Dooley!" I yelled as I quickly pulled my brother into a tight hug as he hugged back.
Dad chuckled and joined in on the hug and after about 3 seconds we pulled away as dad patted Leo on the back.
"Wait. So what just happened?" Bree asked in confusion.
"We transferred some of the energy from our bodies into his" S-3 said.
"But won't that make you all turn old, too?" Bree asked in confusion yet slightly worried.
"Well, if it was just one of us, yes. But since we all did it, the effect is minimal" S-3 smiled.
"Ah. That was awesome! It's like you brought him back to life. Nobody move, I'm gonna go dig up my goldfish" Adam smiled before running out of the lab.
"Wow, I can't believe you guys saved me. I can never repay you" Leo said while giving the soldiers a small smile.
The soldiers all smiled and nodded at him before he turned to me.
"But she can. Pony up, Luna" Leo smirked as he held out his hand for me.
I glared at him, grabbed his hand and twisted it, causing him to cry out in pain.
"Ow! Ow! Never mind, never mind, please let go" Leo begged as I let him go as he clutched onto his now red hand.
This made the others laugh while I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
Dad chuckled and kissed my forehead before turning to Mr. President.
"Mr. President, I think this is all the proof you'll need" Dad said.
"That was admirable...but I can't let these bionic kids roam free" Mr. President smiled before shaking his head.
"I'm sending a transport to pick them up" Mr. President said.
My eyes widened in worry and shock that even after they literally saved Leo's life he's still going to arrest them.
"But sir, they're not--" I started but was cut off by S-3 gently placing his hand on my shoulder.
"It's okay Luna. You've helped us as much as you can. It's time for us to go" S-3 said while looking at the older soldiers that nodded.
"We won't run this time" S-3 said to Mr. President who nodded at him.
I stared at him in shock as I started shaking my head.
"No, no, no, no this is fucking wrong. What they did wasn't their faults they were being controlled by the triton app. They're just like Adam, Bree and Chase. For fucks sake they saved Leo's life when he was close to dying! You can't just arrest them!" I yelled in anger.
"Pumpkin" Dad softly said but I shook my head at him.
"No dad. It's not right that they're getting taken away for something that wasn't their fault to begin with. I'm not gonna just let them get taken away, if I have to spend days or months just finding a way to let them stay then that's what I'm going to do! And nobody is going to stop me!" I yelled.
I quickly stormed out of the lab in anger, not wanting to be there anymore.
They can't just arrest them for something they didn't do, that wasn't even their fault.
Stupid fucking Krane was controlling all of them with the damn triton app, they had no control over what they were doing.
They're innocent, just like Adam, Bree and Chase.
And they're my siblings, well half siblings but still my siblings either way.
Krane was their creator, he was still their father and since he was my biological father that kind of technically make me their sister too.
I'm not gonna let them suffer the consequences because of something Krane did.
I made it to my room as I slammed the door shut and ran my hands through my hair in anger and frustration.
There has to be something I can do.
Anything, anything at all.
2 minutes passed when I let go of my hair as my eyes widened in realization when I came up with a plan.
A plan that is bound to let Mr. President let my siblings stay and not get arrested.
But first I've gotta talk to dad about it and see what he thinks.
The Next Day
After talking about it with dad he agreed and thought that it was a great idea too.
After we both agreed we called Mr. President and explained to him about our plan, and thank the lords he agreed.
Me and dad both smiled and hugged each other before we qucikly left the lab to head upstairs to stop the agents from arresting the bionic soldiers.
Me and dad ran out of the elevator and into the living room.
"Stop! Nobody's going anywhere" Dad yelled as the agents stopped what they were doing.
I opened my mouth to speak when I was cut off by Tasha running into the room as she stood next to dad.
"Donald, if you try to take on a team of federal agents again, I will put you back in the hospital myself" Tasha said while glaring at him.
Dad gave her a 'really' look before I decided to speak up.
"No. We have a solution" I smiled while pointing at me and dad who smiled and nodded.
I turned back around to see everyone looking at us in confusion as I decided to explain more.
"These kids have proven they can save lives and change the world. We already know what you three can do with your bionics. Just think what a hundred bionic kids could do" I said while pointing at the trio.
"Aw, don't make me think, just tell me" Adam groaned.
Me and dad both gave him annoyed looks before dad spoke up again.
"With proper training and supervision, they could go on multiple missions, save thousands of lives" Dad smiled.
"And the President is already on board. We just got off the phone with him" I smirked while crossing my arms.
Everyone gave us all shocked looks while Agent Reed gave me and dad a stern look.
"Hold on. I didn't get anything about a change--" Agent Reed started before she got cut off by her phone beeping.
She took it out and looked at it before she let out a small humming noise and nodded.
"Oh. Okay, you're good" Agent Reed said as she started leaving.
The agents started uncuffing some of the soldiers before following her outside as they all left.
When they were gone everyone turned to me and dad.
"Well, Mr. Davenport, Luna, this all sounds great but how are you two supposed to train hundreds of bionic kids?" Chase asked.
Me and dad looked at each other and smirked before looking back at the others.
"I'm not. We are" Dad said while pointing at himself, me and the trio.
Adam, Bree and Chase looked at him with wide eyes, trying to process what he was saying.
"Since you're the first of your kind, you'll be their mentors. Along with Luna" Dad smiled as he ruffled my hair.
I giggled and nodded as the trio snapped out of their shocked state as they started smiling at dad.
"You'll train them, socialize them, and introduce them to the world, just like Leo and Luna did with you" Dad said.
"Only we'll do a good job" Adam grinned, causing Leo to turn around and glare at him.
"Excuse me?" Leo asked in annoyance.
"Don't act shocked, you found us five friends in three years. Luna was the one that introduced us to the world and taught us more things than you" Bree said.
I smirked while Leo gave them offended looks.
"So where is all this training gonna take place?" Tasha asked.
Me and dad smiled at each other as we stood next to each other as dad wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
"At the world's first 'Davenport Walker Bionic Academy'" Dad smiled, making me smile back at him.
Everyone smiled and nodded at the name while Leo shook his head and sent me and dad a smirk.
"I think you mean 'Davenport Walker and Son Bionic Academy'" Leo smirked.
Me and dad looked at him before we started laughing as I smirked and crossed my arms.
"And I think you still have a touch of grandpa brain" I smirked, causing dad and the others to laugh.
Dad smirked as he pulled out the glasses Leo was wearing from when he was turned into an old person.
"What'd you say?" Dad mockingly asked while pretending to be old Leo.
We all started laughing even more than before while Leo glared at us and crossed his arms while huffing in annoyance.
The Next Day
All of us, including S-3 were in the lab as me and dad wanted to show the others what the bionic academy will look like.
Well not the entire thing, more like the blueprints and stuff.
"Behold, the world's first ever bionic academy" Dad smiled as he turned on the screen where the bionic academy was shown on the island.
"Tada!" Tasha smiled as she did gazz hands.
We all laughed and smiled while dad turned to glare at her.
"Yeah, back up. This is mine and my daughter's moment. Tada!" Dad smiled as he did the same thing Tasha did.
Tasha rolled her eyes at him with a small smile on her face as me and the others laughed.
"Wow, Mr. Davenport, Luna, that place looks amazing" Chase smiled as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and kissed my cheek.
"Thanks bubba" I smiled.
"Yeah. It's a man-made island. Here's the combat training area" Dad said as he switched slides to show us the blueprints of the combat training area.
The others smiled in awe as dad moved onto the next one.
"And the capsule dormitory" Dad said.
"And next would be my room" I smirked, causing dad to roll his eyes with a smile as he showed the next slide.
It was the blueprints for what my room would look like on the academy and can I just say that it's amazing so far.
"And the hydraloop" Dad said while moving onto the last slide.
"Oh. What's a hydraloop?" S-3 asked with a smile.
I opened my mouth to answer for him when Chase started laughing for some reason.
"This guy. 'What's a hydraloop?'" Chase mockingly said with a smirk.
I glared at him and smacked him upside the head.
"Be nice" I warned him as Adam started fake laughing.
"Yeah. This guy" Adam grinned while nodding before he turned to dad.
"What is a hydraloop?" Adam asked, causing me and dad to sigh and roll our eyes.
"It's an ultra-modern high-speed transport system that works like a pneumatic tube to and from the island. You hop in on one side and it spits you out on the mainland in minutes" I explained.
"That alone cost me 50 million dollars" Dad said.
"Great, see you on the island" S-3 smiled before geo-leaping away.
This made everyone, minus me, to jump in surprise as Leo turned to glare at dad.
"You couldn't spend 50 million dollars to make us do that?" Leo asked in annoyance.
All dad did was shrug while I rolled my eyes and leaned more into Chase who wrapped both arms around me and kissed my head.
