Luna's Pov
Dad had dragged all of us down to the lab to show us a new invention he made.
I am curious to see what it is but also annoyed since I was just going to stay in bed all day and snuggle with Chase.
"Inventing the wheel? Boring. Discovering electricity? Snooze. Sliced bread? Lame. But now, Davenport Industries introduces the world's first..." Dad announced.
He took of the sheet and revealed his invention that was some weird metallic thing with some silver structure.
"Proton Fuser!" Dad yelled.
'Are we supposed to be impressed?' I thought.
"You know, for a scientist you'd think your payoffs would be a bit more proportionate to your buildups" Leo said and I nodded.
"Uh, the payoff is that it allows us to see the origins of the universe. This thing fuses sub-atomic particles, so we can understand how planets form" Dad explained.
"Well, we already understand how boredom forms" Bree said and I giggled.
"Haven't you ever wondered where stuff comes from? Galaxies? Stars? Planets?" Dad asked.
"This stuff, no" Adam said while pointing to the proton fuser.
"Onion rings, yes" Adam said with a nod.
"Guys, I have always wanted to build this thing, and now it's a reality. It's an important life lesson. If you have a dream, believe in it, 'cause it can happen" Dad said while placing a hand on Leo's shoulder.
"Um, Mr. Davenport, isn't it dangerous to tinker with the fabric of the universe?" Chase asked and I giggled.
Adam smiled and let out a small laugh, "he said tinker" Adam said.
"Yes, technically it could destabilize the earth, or open a wormhole into a parallel universe. But, I made it and I wanna play with it, so..." Dad started.
"Prepare to be amazed!" Dad said before walking to his machine to start it.
"Or gravely injured" I deadpanned, making Chase chuckle.
"Once again, big buildup, teeny, tiny payoff" Leo said.
"Why do I get a feeling something might happen?" I asked.
"Don't worry sweetheart, I'm sure everythings fine" Chase reassured me as he wrapped one arm around my waist.
Soon we heard footsteps and we all turned around to see Tasha walking into the lab.
"Okay, the popcorn is popping and the movie is uploaded. Or downloaded. Whatever, the red thingy is blinking green" Tasha said and we all gave her a look.
"Just head upstairs, it's movie time!" Tasha yelled and we all cheered and started running to the elevator.
"I do love a matinee" Leo said with a smile and was about to leave but Tasha stopped him.
"Oh, hold it, mister. No movie for you until you finish your chores. Your room is a mess, and you haven't washed the dishes in days" Tasha said.
"But, I've been looking forward to this movie all week" Leo protested.
"And I've been looking forward to clean dishes all week" Tasha said.
" Really? Well, that's just sad" Leo said.
"Wait a minute, what about Luna?" Leo asked.
"Excuse me, don't drag me into this. Unlike you I've already done my chores" I said and Tasha nodded.
"Yes, Luna cleaned her room, washed the dishes and the bathroom" Tasha said and I smirked.
"Next time Leo, do your chores on time" I said and he glared at me.
I smirked and flipped my hair before walking into the elevator.
I walked towards the couch and sat next to Chase.
He wrapped his arms around me as I laid my head on his shoulder.
We all were laughing at the movie and smiling, the dog was so cute and all it did was bark.
We laughed even more until I turned around and saw Leo slowly walking towards us to look at the movie.
Then he started laughing until Tasha noticed him.
"Leo!" Tasha yelled as Leo stopped laughing.
"Aah!" Leo shrieked as he accidentally let go of the plate that he was holding and it shattered into pieces as it fell to the ground.
"I said no movie. First you won't do the dishes, then you break them?" Tasha said as she placed one hand on her hip.
"Hey, you said you hate looking at dirty dishes and that's one less to look at" Leo defended with a smile.
Tasha glared at him while I rolled my eyes.
"That is it. No TV for the rest of the week" Tasha said.
"That sucks" I whispered to Bree and she nodded.
"That's not fair" Leo said in annoyance as he began walking away but stopped and turned around.
"By the way, I've seen this movie" Leo said.
"Leo, I swear on everything I love, I will end you if you say something" I warned him.
"I wouldn't get too attached to that dog" Leo said with a glare as he turned back around and walked away.
Everyone, minus dad, Tasha and me gasped.
"I hate you" I said in annoyance as I snuggled closer to Chase.
We all continued watching the movie and laughed the entire time.
Leo's Pov
I went downstairs to the lab completey mad and annoyed after my mom told me no more T.V for a week just because I accidentally broke one of the stupid dishes.
"Stupid chores" I said in annoyance.
I then stopped walking as I noticed Big D's new invention was on and there was a blue orb coming out of it and it was growing really big.
"I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. This isn't gonna end well" I said.
I tried running away but it caught me and tried pulling me towards it.
"Help! Help! Help! Help! Please help!" I yelled, trying to alert my family to come and help me but I knew it was useless.
The orb was much stronger and soon I was being pulled towards it.
I at least tried grabbing onto something but before I knew it I was pulled into the thing.
For what lasted for a second I was pushed back into the lab and fell to the ground.
I got up and looked around, only to see that everything was normal, nothing looked different.
"I do not know what just happened, but I need a bathroom!" I said as I quickly ran to the elevator to head upstairs.
Once I got upstairs I picked my head up and my eyes widened in shock by what I was looking at.
The living room was completely different, everything was white and gray and clear.
I looked around and nearly the whole room was different.
'What the flip' I thought.
I heard footsteps and saw my mom walking into the room, except she looked completely different.
She wore a fancy suit and he hair was done nicely.
"Oh, you don't like my software design? Well, that doesn't really matter, because you are fired!" Mom said into her ear piece.
I was going to walk up to her when I accidentally knocked over a vase and it shattered into pieces.
"Mom, I'm so sorry, I didn't even know that was there" I said, hoping I won't get into anymore trouble.
"Break whatever you want, Leo, I can afford a thousand of those" Mom said as she walked over to the living room counter.
"You can?" I asked.
"Of course. One of the many perks of being a billionaire. Well, that and being able to tease millionaires" Mom said with a smirk.
'Billionaire?' I thought.
"Wait, where is everybody? I thought we were watching a movie?" I asked.
"And when did we move into an Italian furniture showroom?" I asked while looking around the room again.
"I don't have time for this, Leo. Tasha Technologies isn't going to run itself" Mom said as she grabbed her purse.
"Tasha Technologies?" I asked, clearly confused.
"Honey, toss me my keys" Mom said.
I looked at her that were on top of another counter and grabbed the,.
I then tossed them over to her but for some reason it flew right past her and through the door and it made a huge hole.
"Mom, did you see what I just did?" I asked her as I walked towards her.
"Yeah. That was a good one. You took out the Goldbergs mailbox" Mom said and I looked at her weirdly.
"Now, remember, honey, no using your bionics at school" Mom reminded me.
She opened the door and left, leaving me confused.
"What bionics?" I asked while looking at my hands.
Suddnely lightning started sparking on my hands and the next thing I know lightning was shot at the ceiling and knocked down the chandelier.
My eyes widened in shock as I looked at my hands in fear.
"Leo, I heard a crash. Are you okay?" Big D asked as he ran into the room.
Except, he looked completely different too.
His hair was in a different, he wore different clothes and had a white lab coat on.
"I just shot lightning out of my fingers. I don't know what's going on but I'm terrified to pick my nose" I said in fear as I walked towards him and looked at my hands.
"That's one of your new bionic upgrades" Big D said with a smile but I looked at him in shock.
"You harness static electricity to form lightning bolts. I voted for Sneezing Thunder, but your mom shot me down" Big D said with a frown.
"So, I really am bionic?" I asked and he nodded.
"What else do I have? Super speed? Super strength? Super smarts?" I asked in excitement.
"Leo, you know you have these abilities" Big D said and all of a sudden an idea popped into my head.
"Can I fly?" I asked.
I started running and tried lifting myself up in the air to fly, but I just ended up falling to the ground.
"Nope. But your brilliant scientist inventor mom is working on it" Big D said.
I got up from the floor and looked at him confused, "what are you talking about? You're the brilliant scientist" I said.
Suddnely he started laughing, really weirdly, he even made a snort sound.
"No. No, I'm still just your mom's lab assistant" Big D said.
'Lab assistant?' I thought.
"Which reminds me, I should go, I'm not allowed upstairs when she's not home. So..." Big D said as he turned around to walk away but I stopped him.
"Wait, wait. You're not an inventor?" I asked and he shook his head.
"Well, not officially. I mean, most of the stuff I invent either doesn't work or bursts into flames" Big D said and I looked at him in shock.
"See these eyebrows?" Big D asked and I nodded.
"Borrowed them from my back" Big D said and I looked at him weirdly and completely disgusted.
"But I did just finish a prototype on a proton fuser, so..." Big D shrugged.
My eyes widened in realization when he said that, I know what's going on.
"Proton fuser. That's it! I must have traveled through a wormhole into this parallel universe!" I said.
"Leo, you read too many comic books" Big D said and I glared at him.
"Now, uh, off to school" Big D said while waving me off.
"Ok, I guess, but hey where's Luna?" I asked.
"Luna? Who's Luna?" Big D asked, confused.
My eyes widened in shock and my jaw dropped to the ground.
"What do you mean you don't know who Luna is? She's your daughter" I said.
"Well, not your real daughter, she's your adopted daughter but you still treat her like your actual daughter" I explained.
Big D continued looking at me confused and I gave him an annoyed look.
"Luna Walker, your adopted daughter, she was left on your doorstep as a baby by her real parents" I explained.
"Oh...you're talking about your best friend Luna Bradley" Big D said with a smile and a nod.
My eyes once again widened in shock.
"Luna Bradley? No, no her name is Luna Walker" I corrected him but Big D shook his head.
"No, her name is Luna Bradley" Big D said.
"Luna was left here at our doorstep as a baby, your mother found her but she didn't take her in. Trust me she wanted to, but she knew that will all of the work she has she wouldn't have time for her. So, she called some friends of hers that were looking to adopt and gave Luna to them, the Bradleys" Big D explained with a smile.
"However, your mother knew that you would need a friend when growing up so she allowed you to go over their house whenever you wanted. You two hung out all the time as kids, you guys were basically best friends back then and now" Big D explained.
"Ok...does she know about my bionics? You know since she is my best friend" I asked.
"Oh, yeah she does, and so do the Bradleys. Like I said your mother is really good friends with them" Big D said.
I just gave him a nod, "ok, well uh I better get to school now" I said.
"Of course, and, uh, let's just keep this between you and I, okay?" Big D said and I nodded.
"Okay. I promise, I will not let anyone know I have bionics" I said.
"No, no, no. I mean, don't tell your mom I was upstairs, or she'll take away my bathroom breaks" Big D said and I looked at him weirdly.
He just walked away to head to the lab while I sighed and left the house to get to school.
At School
I arrived at school and so far everything looked normal.
"Good morning, Leo!"
I turned around and my eyes widened in shock.
It was Principal Perry, except, she looked different.
She wore a really nice dress, a yellow sweater that was wrapped around her neck and her hair was done nicely and she wore makeup that actually looked good on her.
"Leo? You never call me by my first name. And according to legend, you haven't smiled since the sixties" I said and she giggled.
"I always smile when I see you! School board approved air hug?" Principal Perry said as she tried hugging me and I was quick to move away from her.
"Oh, that is good" Principal Perry said with a smile as she moved away from me.
I gave her a nervous smile while she frowned, "oh, no air hug back?" Principal Perry asked.
She turned around and took a tray of cookies from some kid that was holding them for her.
"Does my little schnookie need a cookie?" Principal Perry asked.
"I suppose your little schnookie could take a lookie at a cookie" I said with a smile.
I examined the cookies, to make sure they look decent enough before taking one and taking a bite.
My eyes widened in shock as I took another bite. It was actually really good.
"Wow!" I said.
"They're from our gourmet cafeteria" Principal Perry said as she started walking me towards the cafeteria.
"Gourmet? This is coming from the woman who thinks mold is a vegetable?" I said while she just smiled at me.
When we entered the cafeteria my eyes widened in shocked as I looked at the lunch ladies.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Those are the lunch ladies?" I asked in shock.
The three lunch ladies looked so pretty, so young and were nice when serving food to the other students.
"Yeah, we tried to find prettier ones, but, they'll do" Principal Perry shrugged as she walked away from me.
I turned around and saw Adam, Bree and Chase getting up from a table.
I sighed in relief and walked over to them.
"Guys, there you are! This is unbelievable!" I said.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey, everyone check it out. We got an exchange student from Nerdistan. Ha!" Chase mocked.
I stared at him in shock, Chase would never say that.
"Yeah, like, step off. We don't know you. And FYI, I wouldn't put my poodle in that outfit" Bree said in disgust.
Ok, some of it is something Bree would say, but she would never be that rude.
"Come on, guys. It's me, Leo. And you're Adam, Bree and Chase Davenport" I said while pointing to all three of them.
They just looked at me confused.
"Uh, we're Adam, Bree and Chase Henderson" Adam said and my eyes widened in shock.
"Are you lost, little guy?" Adam asked as he gave me a concerned look while I still stared at them in shock.
Soon the bell rang and everyone got up from their seats to get to class.
"I don't understand" I said.
Adam sighed and looked at me, "there's so much to not understand in life, isn't there? Like, what would happen if we all just stopped for a second and just existed" Adam said and I looked at him weirdly.
"Plus ca change, et les plus c'est la meme chose" Adam said in french.
"Plus-ah-what? Okay, what is going on?" I questioned.
All of this was getting too weird for me.
"Bree, help me out here" I said but she just gave me an annoyed look.
"Okay, it's pronounced "Breh." Like "Breath" but without the Th" Bree said as she rolled her eyes at me and all three of them started walking away.
"What is wrong with you guys? We're all best friends" I yelled but they just gave me confused looks.
"And the best part is, I'm bionic now! See, I didn't even get to show you my lightning fingers!" I yelled in excitement.
Unfortunately, my lightning fingres activated and I shot at something in the room, causing the three of them to take a step back.
They stared at me in fear before screaming and running out of the cafeteria.
"And those are my lightning fingers" I said sheepishly.
"Hey Leo, there you are."
Wait, I know that voice.
I turned around and my eyes widened in shock and my jaw dropped all the way to the ground.
It was Luna.
But...she was different.
She was nothing like the Luna I know.
She had medium length hair with a pink sparkly pin on her head, she had wore pink makeup all over her face.
Ever her outfit was pink.

This is not Luna. The Luna I know hates pink.
The only times she would wear pink is with either gray or black.
The real Luna doesn't wear maekup like this Luna does.
Luna would only wear lipstick and blush but that's it.
And if she greeted me, it would either be with her shoving me, or punching me in either the shoulder or stomach.
"Oh uh...hey Luna" I said with a nervous smile.
"Hey buddy, where were you? I was looking for you" Luna asked.
"Sorry, I uh got lost for a moment, but I'm here now" I said.
She smiled and nodded before glaring at the direction the trio had left.
"Why were you talking to those henderson jerks?" Luna asked with a scowl on her face.
"What are you talking about? They're are best friends, remember" I said but all she did was shake her head.
"Leo, what are you talking about? Those jerks aren't our friends, if anything they're our enemies" Luna said.
I stared at her in shock, she would never say something like that to them, especially to Chase.
"But...Chase is your boyfriend, you love him" I said.
She gave me a disgusted look and began fake gagging.
"Leo, what in the name of holy heavens are you talking about? I would never date smug jock jerk like him. I'd rather die than be caught dating him" Luna said in disgust.
My eyes widened in shock.
She hates them, and she hates Chase more and she's not even dating him.
Alright, I need to find a way to get home soon, this place is creeping me out.
"Anyways, I better get going, I have ballet class soon" Luna said.
"Wait, they have ballet classes here?" I asked and she nodded.
"Yeah, my mother asked Principal Perry to create a ballet class at this school so I could practice more here instead of at home. Principal Perry was kind enough to agree. Now me and some other girls take ballet classes here, the ballet teacher is absolutely wonderful and sweet" Luna explained.
I continued staring at her weridly.
"But...you hate ballet, you said so yourself. You said that you'd rather be caught dead than take one class" I said.
"Leo, you're acting really weird today. I love ballet, it's always been my dream to be a famous ballet dancer as a kid, you should know this already" Luna said.
"Right...yeah I do, sort of" I said, making her giggle.
"But for real, I've got to go, remember I'm coming over to your house after school" Luna said.
I nodded but then what shocked me more was when she hugged me, and it felt like a real hug and not a forced one.
Or a really tight hug that makes me suffocate.
She pulled away from the hug, "see you later buddy" Luna said with a smile as she walked away.
Ok, I really need to find a way home, I can't stay here.
After school
I was able to get through this day easy peasy, I had mostly avoided the trio just in case.
Surprisingly me and Luna hung out most of the day.
It was fun, but weird.
All she talked about was ballet, gymnastics, tea parties with her and her adopted mother and reading time with her and her adopted father.
And the weirder part, was that she was being nice.
Sure the Luna I know is sometimes nice, but not this nice.
Anyways, she had left to go home and meet up with her parents but said that she would stop by later.
I walked around in the hallway when I spotted Big D.
"Leo" Big D said as he walked towards me.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked.
"I always pick you up from school. A, your mother insists on it, and... B, it's the few minutes a day I can enjoy natural sunlight" Big D said.
'Wow, mom really doesn't let him leave the house' I thought.
"This world is so much different from my world" I said.
"Well, my world is limited to the lab. That, and of course the thrill I get for fifteen minutes a day coming to pick you up. Stoplights are awesome!" Big D explained with a smile as I looked at him weirdly.
"Hey, Leo" Adam said as him, Bree and Chase walked towards us.
"Hey, look who made some friends, besides Luna of course" Big D said with a smile.
"That's Adam, Bree and Chase. You don't recognize them?" I asked and he shook his head at me.
"Uh, no" Big D said.
"Oh, hey, look, it's the dude who gets all excited at stoplights" Chase said while pointing to Big D and the others nodded.
"Um, you guys, uh, take your time. I'm gonna be in the car, playing with the windows" Big D said as he walked away.
"Leo, we have a confession. We believe what you said earlier" Chase said.
"Yeah, and we want you to know that your bionic secret is safe within us" Adam said with a nod.
I sighed in relief, "finally. It's good to have you guys back!" I said with a smile as I hugged them and they hugged back.
But that only last for a few seconds before they had pushed me away and suddenly a man wearing a black suit and glasses walked inside.
"Now, now, now. There he is" Adam yelled.
"That's the bionic freak!" Chase yelled.
"Get him!" Bree yelled.
"Freeze, Dooley. You're coming with me" the agent said.
"Note to self, not a fan of the Hendersons, or girly Luna" I said in annoyance as the agent grabbed my arm.
"Apprehended the suspect" the agent said.
"How could you guys turn me in?" I asked in annoyance and anger.
"Well, it was easy. We just called that guy" Chase said and I rolled my eyes.
Suddenly Principal Perry came up from behind the agent and hit him in the head with a silver metal tray, causing the agent to fall to the ground.
"Hey! Nobody messes with my rollerblading buddy!" Principal Perry yelled as she started tackling him.
This is the first time I will ever be glad to see Principal Perry.
Then Big D walked back into the building.
"Leo, it's hot in the car and I'm not allowed to use the air conditioning. So, are you coming or not?" Big D asked.
I rolled my eyes and pointed towards Perry holding the agents arms.
"I used to be a Christmas elf at the Mission Creek Mall. No one cut in Santa's line on my watch" Principal Perry said.
She shoved him to the ground before looking at me.
"Run!" Principal Perry yelled.
I nodded before superspeeding away, I kind of realized that I forgot Big D but he can run so he'll be fine.
After Big D caught up with me I explained to him everything that happened at school and why there was an agent at school.
We got back to the house and I closed the door as soon as we were inside.
"This just does not make sense. The Leo I know would never show his bionics at school" Big D said and I groaned.
"I am not that Leo! I came here from a parallel universe through a wormhole made by your proton fuser!" I explained.
He looked at me in shock, "wait, you were serious about that?" Big D asked.
"Yeah!" I nodded.
"Wow. It all makes sense, now" Big D said, looking surprised.
"Well, don't worry, Leo. As long as you're in my universe, I'll protect you" Big D said and I sent him a grateful smile.
Suddenly a bunch of agents came inside the house and started surrounding me and Big D.
I looked at Big D, hopefully thinking that he would protect me.
But all he did was let out a small shriek and then he fainted.
"No wonder my mom keeps you in the basement" I deadpanned.
Soon the agents had placed handcuffs on us and the both of us were handcuffed to one of the big poles.
"Mr. Dooley, I'm Special Agent Gordon, Department of Homeland Special Ops Unit, also known as, D-H-SOU" Agent Gordon said.
Me and Big D looked at him weirdly as he put his badge away.
"It doesn't acronym well. We don't know how you do what you do, but we're going to find out" Agent Gordon said as he walked towards me.
"Even if it takes ten years in an isolated desert warehouse. Hope you sweat a lot. That's the only water you'll get" Agent Gordon said and my eyes widened in fear.
"Well, what if I just break out of these?" I asked.
"We heard you were freakishly strong, so those are exploding handcuffs. Links breaks, handcuffs detonate" Agent Gordon explained.
Mine and Big D's eyes widened in fear.
"Yeah, could you, uh, explode that way" Big D said and I glared at him.
Soon another agent came into the room with mom as she was handcuffed too.
"Get your hands off of me! I am Tasha Dooley of Tasha Technologies!" Mom yelled in annoyance.
"Please don't yell at me, I know I'm in the living room, but, technically, they chained me here" Big D defended as me and mom rolled our eyes at him.
"Leo, honey, are you okay? They haven't hurt you, have they, sweetie?" Mom asked as she walked over to me.
I just nodded before Agent Gordon walked over to her.
"I'm sorry, mom. I didn't mean to use my..." I started before looking around the room.
"B-I-O-N-I-C-S at school" I said.
"We can spell, kid. Well, everyone except for Agent Dorris, here. He likes to sound things out" Agent Gordon said while pointing to another agent.
"He's not bionic, he's just gifted! Right, Leo?" Mom said as she turned to face me.
"You were always discovering something new about yourself" Mom said but all I did was shrug.
An agent grabbed her arm and she glared at him.
"Watch the suit or I am telling your boss!" Mom said in annoyance.
"I am his boss" Agent Gordon said.
"Then, he's touching my suit!" Mom whined as she was pulled away.
"Something new about yourself. Leo, I think she was trying to tell you to escape using one of your new abilities" Big D told me.
I gave him an annoyed look and showed him the handcuffs on my hands.
"Hello? Boom-boom bracelets" I said and he rolled his eyes at me.
"No, I mean one of your newly uploaded abilities. You know, like Geo-leaping: Molecularly transferring yourself from one location to another just by thinking about it" Big D explained.
"I can Geo-leap?" I asked.
"We—Yeah. I mean, it hasn't been tested yet, so make sure you..." Big D started.
I didn't waste time to grab him and geoleap away.
The first place that came to my mind was the school, so that's where we went.
"Warn me first" Big D finished as we geoleaped into the school cafeteria.
Principal Perry ran into the room, "pumpkin? What are you doing here? This place is still crawling with government goons. Duck and cover!" Principal Perry ordered us.
We soon hid behind one of the tables.
"I'll draw them away, you scram. But if you get caught and end up in the clink, text me. I may not have pull with the governor, but I can drive a hatchback through a cement wall" Principal Perry explained.
I smiled while Big D looked at her weirdly.
Two agents walked into the room and Principal Perry looked at them.
"Hey, the bionic kid is out front stacking school busses! Get him!" Principal Perry yelled.
She looked at us and shrugged before running away to catch up to the agents, most likely to keep them from coming back inside.
Me and Big D soon left our hiding spot once they had left.
"Leo!"
I turned around only to see Luna running into the cafeteria looking really worried.
"Leo, are you alright?" Luna asked as she gave me a hug.
I hugged back, still getting used to the fact that this Luna is really nice, and nodded.
"I'm alright, for now at least" I said as we pulled away from the hug.
"Luna, what are you doing here?" Big D asked.
"I was coming to your house so we could hang out, but I saw black cars and agents surrounding the place. I met up with Tasha outside and she explained to me what happened and I came here" Luna explained.
"Makes sense" Big D said.
"Now you want to tell me what's going on, because I know for one fact that my best friend would never expose his bionics at school" Luna said as she crossed her arms at me.
"Listen Luna, I'm not the Leo you know. I came from another universe because of Big D's protoon fuser, in my universe everything is completely different from here" I explained.
"It's true, he told me the same thing this morning and when I came to pick him up" Big D said and I nodded.
"That's insane, because one Davenport can't invent anything" Luna said.
Big D glared at her while I nodded.
"And second, if you're telling the truth, what am I like in your universe?" Luna asked.
"Definetly not like this I can tell you that" I said while she looked at me confused.
"In my universe you live with me, my mother and Big D. Along with Adam, Bree and Chase. Big D is your adopted father" I said.
"What!" the both of them yelled in shock and I nodded.
"In my universe you were left at his doorstep and he took you in, he raised you as his own daughter and you love him with all your heart. You two do almost everything together" I explained.
"And in my universe you and Chase are dating" I said.
"Excuse me, what!" Luna yelled.
"You and Chase are dating, you two have been dating for nearly two years, your second year anniversary is coming up soon" I explained.
"But I hate him, he's nothing but a smug jerk" Luna argued but I shook my head at her.
"No, in my universe you two love each other. You love him with all your heart and he loves you. In my universe Chase is a sweet, nice, caring, nerdy and annoying guy, he's nothing like the Chase from his world" I explained.
To say she was shocked was an understatement, but I could tell she was still doubtful.
"I...I don't know what to say...how do I even know you're telling me the truth?" Luna asked.
I tried thinking of something that could help.
My eyes widened in realization.
"Here, this will prove to you both that I'm telling the truth" I said.
I took out my phone and immediately went to my gallery.
"Here, this is a picture of you and Chase, right after he asked you to be his girlfriend" I said.
I showed Luna the picture as her and Big D looked at it.
Her eyes widened in shock, along with Big D's.
"What in the name of heavens?" Luna said, completely shocked.
But I could see some blush on her cheeks.
"And here, a picture of you and Luna. I took this on her 16th birthday" I said.
I opened up the picture and showed it to them as they once again huddled around me.
Once again their eyes widened in shock.
"See, this proves that I'm telling the truth" I said as I put my phone back in my pocket.
"Holy wow, you really are telling the truth" Luna said and I nodded.
"Yes, I am, and right now I need to find a way to get home" I said in frustration.
"This world is not as cool as I thought. I'd give up the bionics, everything, just to get back to my family" I said.
"I wish I could help you" Big D shrugged.
"Me too" Luna said.
Suddenly my eyes widened in realization, "maybe you can. With your proton fuser!" I said with a smile.
He sighed and shook his head. "Leo, I told you, it will never work. I built it" Big D said.
"He's got a point there" Luna said.
I ignored her and turned my attention to Big D.
"Listen, you always told me, 'If you have a dream, believe in it.' And it's time for you to believe, Big D" I said.
"What's a Big D?" Big D asked and I rolled my eyes at him.
"Look, even if it did work, how would we get in the lab with all those agents swarming the house?" Luna asked.
"You see, this is where flying would come in handy" I said.
Big D glared at me while Luna rolled her eyes.
"Where are you, little guy?" I heard Chase asked.
"Get down, get down" I whispered to them.
We were all quick to get down and hide behind a table.
"Keep looking, he could be anywhere" Chase ordered.
"And while we're at it, why don't we look within ourselves for answers to questions that we're afraid to ask?" Adam said.
"This is so ridic. He's not here" Bree groaned.
"Oh, maybe he's at the mall" Bree suggested.
"Why would I be at the mall?" I whispered asked Luna.
"Sometimes me and this universe Leo go shopping, it's sort of something I like doing" Luna said with a smile.
"We're not going to the mall!" Adam and Chase said together.
"We're gonna have to Geo-leap!" I said.
"Okay, fine, just—you have to give me some..." Big D started but I cut him off by grabbing his and Luna's arm and geoleaping away.
We ended up in the hallway of the school.
"Warning!" Big D yelled.
"Why are we still at the school?" Luna asked.
"I don't know, I thought lab. This ain't the lab" I said
"I think my kidneys just switched sides" Big D groaned.
"Your Geo-leaping is glitching. I told you it wasn't tested. Now we're sitting ducks!" Big D explained.
"Time for plan B. Leo, use your superspeed to get us to your house" Luna suggested.
"Great idea" I nodded.
"I get motion sickness. Is there a Plan C?" Big D asked.
"No!" me and Luna yelled in annoyance.
Soon the trio walked into the hallway.
"There he is!" Adam yelled.
"Yo! The bionic kid's in here!" Chase yelled.
"Thanks a lot, Chase! You're super annoying in two universes" I said in annoyance.
He looked at me confused while Luna giggled.
I grabbed onto Luna and Big D as I superspeeded us back to the house.
Once we got there we were quick to get inside and close the door.
"Aah!" Big D yelled as we saw the agents in the house, blocking our way to get to the lab.
"Okay, men, apprehend the bionic subject. Use any force necessary" Agent Gordon ordered.
"What do we do?" Big D asked as the agents started getting closer to us.
"You heard the man. Use any force necessary" Luna said.
She quickly grabbed a book nearby and hit one of the men with it.
I was quick to activate my lightning fingers and shoot two agents, causing them to stumble back.
Luna was quick to backflip away from an agent that tried punching her.
Two agents surrounded me and grabbed onto my hands and I tried getting away from them.
Big D, finally being useful, grabbed onto a chair one of the agents with it, causing him to fall to the ground.
Luna came and kicked one in his private area.
Man, that must hurt.
Luna quickly did a split and tripped the last agent over and he fell to the ground.
"Oh yeah!" I yelled.
"We did it!" Luna yelled as we high fived each other.
"Quick, get downstairs!" Big D yelled as we were quick to head downstairs to the lab.
We all ran downstairs to the lab, "we don't have much time, fire up the proton fuser" I ordered him.
He pulled the proton fuser and took off the sheet that was covering it.
"Ta-da! Okay. Now, I would feel a lot better about this if you would sign some release forms" Big D said.
"Push! Buttons!" I yelled.
"Hurry!" Luna yelled.
Big D was quick to push some buttons and the proton fuser turned on, but it was going really slow.
"Is it supposed to be that slow?" Luna asked.
"I don't know" I shrugged.
"See? Told you. It doesn't work" Big D said in defeat.
Soon we heard noises and saw the agents coming out of the elevator.
"Well make it work, we have no time" Luna yelled.
I quickly superspeeded and closed the lab doors before the agents could get inside.
"Can't some dreams just die?" Big D asked.
"It took a while for the wormhole to reach full size" I said.
"That sounds like a volume threshold problem. I can tweak that!" Big D said in realization.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Tweak!" me and Luna yelled at the same time.
Big D started tweaking some buttons and soon the orb was growing much faster.
"That's it. You're doing it" I said with a smile.
"Wow. Something I made actually works!" Big D said as he covered his mouth as he was close to crying.
"Trust me, you surprised us too" Luna said.
We turned around and saw the agents trying to open the lab doors.
"Wait, if I leave, what'll happen to you guys?" I asked.
"Both universes will reset to the instant you left. None of this will have ever happened!" Big D explained.
He then smiled at me and patted my shoulder.
"Except, I'm gonna start believing in myself" Big D said and I smiled.
"Good. Bring it in you guys" I said.
We all smiled at each other and hugged.
We pulled away and I turned to look at Luna.
"I'm going to miss you Luna, it was nice hanging out with you, even if it was for a little bit" I said.
She smiled at me and nodded, "me too Leo. You might not be my Leo, but you're still my best friend, and I'm going to miss you" Luna said.
I smiled and nodded.
"Before I go, let's take a group selfie, I just don't want to forget you guys" I said.
"Why not" Big D shrugged.
"Of course" Luna said with a smile.
I was quick to take out my phone as we all huddled around each other and smiled as I took the picture.
We all smiled at each other before I put my phone back in my pocket.
"Thanks, Leo. I'd tell you I'll never forget you, technically, that—yeah. You just—all right" Big D said and I nodded.
Luna gave me one last hug and I hugged back.
"Now go and get home buddy, your family needs you" Luna said and I nodded.
"Go, Leo. It's now or never" Big D yelled as he grabbed a magazine and started hitting the agents hands with it.
"Hurry! Get out of here!" Luna yelled.
The doors opened and the agents grabbed onto Luna and Big D.
"Aah!" Big D and Luna yelled.
I gave them one last smile and wave before jumping into the worm hole before the agents could grab me.
A few seconds later I jumped back into the lab, this time it was empty.
"Hello?" I yelled out.
I was quick to run out of the lab to get back upstairs to see if I was back home or not.
Luna's Pov
The movie had ended and everyone, minus me and dad were crying.
Well I had some tears in my eyes, but not that much.
"I was so attached to that dog" Adam said.
"I mean, Leo did warn us" I said with a small shrug as I cuddled closer to Chase.
We all heard foosteps and saw Leo running back into the room, he looked happy and really relieved when he saw us.
He turned around and Agent Gordon walked up to him.
"Ahh!" Leo yelled as he got into some weird fighting stance.
"Relax, Leo. That's Gordon. He's my new head of corporate security" Dad said as he got up from the couch and walked towards them.
"Well, hey there, little buddy! Nice to meet you!" Agent Gordon said with a smile as he took Leo's hand and shook it.
"Aah!" Agent Gordon mocked as he pretended to get into the same fighting stance as Leo, causing me and dad to laugh.
"I'm so happy to see you guys!" Leo said as he walked to Tasha and gave her a hug.
"Oh! Nice to see you in a better mood. Now, put that energy into your chores" Tasha said as they pulled away from the hug.
"Absolutely! I will never complain about my chores ever again. It's so good to be home!" Leo said with a smile and we all looked at him confused.
"Good to be home? Where did you go?" I asked.
"A parallel universe!" Leo said as he walked towards us.
"Chase was an annoying jock, Bree was a shallow mall rat, and Adam was all introspective and philosophical" Leo explained.
"You don't have to make up words, Leo, just tell us what happened" Adam said.
"It was real, you gotta believe me!" Leo said.
"You know what? I believe you, Leo" Dad said, making Leo smile.
"You do?" Leo asked.
"Yeah. Anywhere your mom is a tech mogul is definitely an alternate universe" Dad said while Tasha glared at him.
"I mean, you're very smart. It's just not what tech—I'll be doing the dishes" Dad said as he was quick to walk away from her.
"Mm-hmm" Tasha nodded.
"So Leo, what was Luna like in this parallel universe?" Bree asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, I want to know what I was like" I said with a small smile.
"Luna was so different. She was nice, sweet and friendly. She had medium hair, wore all pink makeup and all pink clothes and she took ballet classes" Leo explained.
"Ewwwww, that's fucking gross" I whined, making Chase chuckle.
"But the worst part was that she wasn't Big D's adopted daughter" Leo said and my eyes widened in shock.
"What?" Dad asked as he walked back into the living room.
"Yeah, you never adopted her and she was adopted into another family called the Bradleys. Her name was Luna Bradley instead of Luna Walker" Leo explained.
"Luna Bradley? That name sounds horrifying" Chase said.
"You're telling me" Adam nodded.
"What's worse was that her and Chase weren't even dating in that universe" Leo said.
This time everyones eyes widened in shock.
"What!" me and Chase yelled.
"Yeah, in that world Luna hated the other universe Chase because he was a smug jock jerk and that she'd rather die than date him" Leo explained.
Ok, now that shocked me the most.
I mean, even if what Leo is saying true, how can my other self say that about Chase.
I love Chase with all my heart and he loves me.
I'd die if I ever lost him.
"Well...at least we know it's not true and just apart of Leo's imagination" Bree reassured us.
I snapped out of my shocked state and nodded and turned to Chase.
"Yeah, I love you and would never say that about you bubba" I said.
He smiled and kissed me softly on the lips, "I love you too sweetheart" Chase said with a smile.
I laid my head on his shoulder as he wrapped both arms around me.
How could I hate him?
Chase is the best boyfriend anyone could have and I'm grateful to have someone like him in my life.
In The Lab
It was already late at night, like 9pm.
Dad took me, the trio and Leo to the lab to show us another invention he made.
Chase stood behind me as both of his arms were wrapped around my waist and he rested his chin on my shoulder.
I smiled as I rested both hands on his.
"Oh, so what does this toy do?" Adam asked as he tried touching it but dad pulled it away from him.
"Let's hope it cures boredom" Bree said in annoyance.
"It's not a toy. This is my new cell replicator. With it, we can map any organism's DNA and replicate any creature living or dead" Dad explained as he set it down on the table.
"Again. Isn't that dangerous?" Chase asked and I nodded.
"Yes, technically, I mean, it could, uh, reintroduce a dormant disease that we have no ability to combat, but, I mean, the chances of--" Dad started but got cut off by Leo walking back with a mallet in his hands.
"No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! Bad! No! Not! Again!" Leo yelled as he started smashing the invention with the mallet.
Chase had pulled me away so I wouldn't get hurt and tightened his grip on my waist.
Leo had finally stopped smashing the invention once it was completely destroyed.
He sighed in relief before putting the mallet down and walked away.
"Well, that cured my boredom" Bree said with a smirk.
Well, this day was completely weird.
