“Well this is great!” You shouted at Sam and Dean, causing them to flinch. “Bloody great!”
It was weird that just this morning you had been worried about what to have for breakfast. It was an unusually quiet day when suddenly Gabriel, the Archangel, popped you and the Winchesters into a world you had only heard about from them. And Castiel was taken his sweet time to get you out of it.
Apparently you were stuck in a world where none of the crazy things you faced on everyday life existed. A world that had a show about where you came from; a show that told Sam and Dean’s life. And since you were part of their lives you were in it too, oh, and not to mention that you were dating the man who played Castiel. His name was Misha Collins, and though he was a sweet guy, his personality was much different than the angel’s.
At first you didn’t even know what was happening, so when he kissed you in front of the Winchesters (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles in this strange world) you had blushed a deep red. Not because you had feelings for the angel, but because Sam happened to be present. Sure, Castiel was kind of cute, and the same could be said about Dean, but you only saw them as brothers. Sam, whoever, was different.
He didn’t treat you like Dean or Cas, and you suspected he saw you more like a friend than a sister. He could be annoying at times, like when he would pick you up and throw you over his shoulder just because you were so much smaller than him. But he could also be really sweet, doing thing like braiding your hair when you were bored or trying to cheer you up when you were moody. And he was hot.
You loved Sam, and there was nothing you could do about it.
“Lower your voice, (Y/N),” Dean whispers. “Don’t you think people will find it weird that we’re hiding in a supplies closet?”
“Sorry,” you apologize sarcastically, but never less lower your voice. “Gosh, I’m so gonna kill Gabriel.”
“Get in line,” Dean replies. “Anyhow, what’s the plan guys?”
“Wait?” Sam suggests with a sigh. “What else can we do? I mean, there’s no magic or anything here.”
“I don’t want to be stuck here,” you pout, and Sam puts his arm around you. Burying your head on his chest, you cross your arms.
The door of closet opened by a smiling Castiel—no, Misha, — and you jumped from Sam’s hug. His smile lessens for a second, but then you smile at him.
“Hey, honey,” you say sweetly. “What’s up?”
“Well, break’s over in ten,” he grins. “What are you guys doing here anyways?”
“You know, just umm, talking about, umm…”
“Your birthday!” Dean pops in as you struggle to say something.
“Jensen, you do know my birthday’s not for another couple of months, right?” Misha asks with a laugh.
“Of course he does,” you say, saving him this time. “But we really want to make it special.”
You wrap your arms around Misha’s waist, and see Sam tensing up from the corner of your eyes. He mirrors your position and gives you a quick kiss.
“Do you know how much I love you?”
“I hope no more than me,” you smile. “Now, let us do our planning.”
You playfully push him outside and wink before closing the door.
“Oh my god,” you take deep breaths, covering your velvet red face. “I can’t believe that just happened.”
Suddenly you feel dizzy, and next thing you know, you’re on the Bunker’s library, your knees buckling. Sam and Dean are also on the floor. They get up quickly, and Sam offers you his hand. Getting up, you brush dirt off your jeans, looking around for Gabriel.
There’s a sound of wings, and you turn around, your face a few mere inches away from the angel’s.
“You’re so dead,” you whisper threateningly, but he just smiles.
“C’mon, (Y/N), don’t tell me you didn’t enjoy my baby brother’s lips on yours,” he says cheerfully.
“Why did you send us there?” Sam says before you can reply.
“Just wanted to see how you would react,” Gabriel shrugs. Neither Sam nor you see Dean’s confused face turn into comprehension. Then he leaves the room silently with a small smirk.
“What do you mean how I would react?” Sam asks with a lost tone of voice, but his face betrays him. A slight blush runs across his cheeks, and realizing what Gabriel meant, you take a sharp breath.
Gabriel winks at you, and then he’s gone.
You turn to Sam, a new found hope spreading inside of you.
“Do you like me, Sam?” You ask bluntly, not having the energy to mess around. Sam sighs, rubbing his neck.
“Well, there’s no point on denying it now,” he chuckles nervously. “Yes, (Y/N), I like you. Heck, I love you. Seeing you kiss Cas-Misha, whatever, made me feel pretty jealous. And I know that I shouldn’t feel like this because you only see me as a friend, but-”
You stopped him there, unable to resist the urge to lock his lips with yours. One of his hands gripped your waist, the other one was tangled with your hair. You traced your hands on his chest, giggling softly when he moved his lips to your neck.
“Bedroom?” He suggested in a low voice.
“Oh yes,” you smiled.
