Today is the day I have been dreading for days. Meet and greet between Barcelona and fans. Antoine insisted on me coming with him because he loves being around me. I wouldn't have a problem going to the meet and greet if I was treated better.
The problem is Antoine has many fans. Most are sweet girls that I've encountered in public who just want selfies and maybe an autograph from me. Other girls are rude and aggressive fans who hate for no reason other than that I am in a relationship with Antoine. I try to ignore it, but it's hard when I get threats every day on social media. Antoine always reminds me that he's the only woman he wants, but with some girls walking around looking like models make me think he's lying.
"Bébé? Est-ce que ça va?" Antoine asked snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Uh yeah. I am good Antoine." I reply looking at his concerned face.
"Don't worry about the fans. You know I'm only yours." He smiles as he puts his car in parked.
I looked around and realized we were at the location of the meet and greet. I must've zoned out the whole 45-minute car ride from our house to the building it was behind held at.
I unbuckle my heat belt and get of the car. Antoine grabs my hand as we walk into the building. Some fans were already lined up outside the door an hour early. They were cheering and yelling our names, mainly Antoine's.
When we get inside the guards check your ID then let us behind the barricade with the rest of the team. I take a seat next to Antoine and he wraps his arm around my shoulder.
"Ne t'inquiète pas mon amour." Antoine whispers in my ear before he kisses my forehead.
As we wait for the doors to open, I scroll through Instagram while Antoine talks to his teammates. I mainly look at meme's and my friends post because I do not want to see what haters have tagged me in today.
"Okay guys, they're opening the doors now." The manager of the building says as he walks off stage.
As soon as he said that I hear many voices and screams. Girls and some guys came rushing into the barricade. The guards told everyone to get in line and the players would start signing their autographs.
"Come on, l'amour." Antoine said grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the fans.
While Antoine was singing autographs and taking selfies, I chatted with a few fans. Got to know some of them and followed some back on Instagram.
"Excuse me, can you take a photo of me and Antoine?" A fan asked nicely.
"Yes, of course!" I say happily as I grab her phone and take their photo.
As I'm trying to take the photo I feel hands on my back and suddenly I hit the ground.
"Y/N? Are you okay?" Gerard asked running to my side as Antoine looked in shock.
"Uh I- I guess." I stutter.
"You bitch," Someone yells out.
I stand up with the help of Antoine and Gerard and turn to see an angry girl standing directly behind me. Apparently she got passed the barricade and the security guards.
"Antoine doesn't deserve you. You should go to hell," she spits at me as she gets dragged away by security.
Antoine looks at me sadly, "l'amour..." Antoine starts, but I run off before he can say anything else.
I run to the parking lot and realize that I have the keys to Antoine's car. I get in and see Antoine standing at the door looking at me. I ignore him and drive off back home. Antoine can catch a ride with another teammate.
As I drive home, Antoine and a few others from the team blow up my notifications. I turn my phone off as I pull into my driveway.
I throw my phone somewhere in the living room, not caring where it lands. I go into my bedroom and start crying.
About an hour later, I hear the front door open and footsteps running up the stairs.
"Y/N? Are you okay?" He asks rushing into our bedroom.
"No. How'd you get here?" I ask looking up to him as he stands over the bed.
"Lionel gave me a ride home. You know, since you took the car." He says as he sits on the edge of the bed.
"I'm sorry," I say quietly.
"Listen Y/N," he pulls me into his lap. "I love you and only you. Those fans are nothing to me but fan girls. Yes, I love them but not like I love you. My love for you is more than anyone can think of. I love you so much, I'd run across the country to be with you. Hell, I'd run from France to Spain to be with you. I don't want anyone else but you. One day you'll be my wife and the mother of our kids. No matter how a fan looks or acts like, I will never replace you with them Mon ange."
"I love you Antoine," I say shyly as I give him a kiss.
"I love you too."
For the rest of the night, we cuddle and watch Netflix and I eventually fall asleep in his arms.
