When I Tell You You are Beautiful

By RobBartel

"When I Tell You You are Beautiful"

When I tell you

you are beautiful,

I do not mean the prettiness

of your face or

the splendour

of your skin.

These things are yours

but yours, too, is the touch of heaven,

the touch of earth.

When I tell you

you are beautiful,

I am saying that I am grateful

to have shared with you

this journey

between two worlds.
