Next day. At school.
I got out of my car and saw Brett talking to a reporter.
I smirked at his innocents.
Brett was everything but innocent.
I walked over to him when the interview was finished.
Brett smirked at me.
I smirked "And you really think you can beat our team?"
Brett smirked "long time, Cori"
I nodded "yeah, dog"
He rolled his eyes, smirked and put an arm around my shoulders.
Me "Missed me?"
Brett "of course. But not as much as you missed me"
I giggled.
Brett "are you coming to the game tonight?"
I shrugged "Maybe"
Brett "are you going to cheer me on?"
I smirked "maybe"
In the library.
I saw Lydia, Scott, Sties and Liam going to a table.
I quickly walked over to them "Hey, my favorite pack"
They nodded "hey"
We sat down.
I sat down between Lydia and Liam.
Scott "last night, Argent said that the beast was getting smarter. What if the Dread Doctors are trying to make the beast grow faster?"
Stiles asked confused "With frequencies?"
I shook my head "No, with shifting"
Scott nodded "the frequencies is just the trigger, the important part is when it shifts into the werewolf"
Lydia "like Peter"
Scott nodded "exactly. when Peter was an alpha, he got stronger every full moon. eventually the burns healed and he went pack to normal. "
Me "The problem is that..."
Liam "....the Dread Doctors don't wanna wait for the full moon."
I nodded.
Scott "they want the beast to be as strong as possible, and that as fast as possible"
Liam "because of Parrish"
Lydia "if this is happening tonight, what are we gonna do?"
Stiles "we got one clue to go on. This came form the hospital"
He showed us a picture. It was a bloody footprint.
Stiles "Whoever is locked inside the beast, is wearing shoe size 10."
Scott "how many people have size 10? "
Stiles "only one with Parrish's blood on the sole."
Liam "so, are we trying to get the game canceled?"
Stiles shook his head "no, no, we are gonna play, but we are gonna hope really hard, that it doesn't turn into a blood soaking massacre. "
Liam "okay, but aren't we gonna miss a chance to catch that thing?. we don't know who it is, but we know the when and where"
We looked at Scott.
i nodded "he gotta point"
Scott shook his head "but there's to many people"
Lydia "and we still don't actually know if it's still gonna happen. It could just be a regular Lacrosse game. It's possible, right?"
I leaned back into my chair "nothing in this town is regular"
It went silent.
Liam "so we are still getting the game canceled?"
Scott nodded "we are getting the game canceled"
We all grabbed our stuff and walked out.
night. at school. Minutes before the game.
Liam, Scott, Mason, Kira, Stiles and i were standing in a classroom.
Scott "Mason, you know your part"
Mason nodded "Corey and i'll break in the Devenford Bus and search the shoes"
Malia "i take out the TV-Vans"
Stiles "right before the whistle, Coach ends the game"
Liam "The rest of us searches for size 10 with blood on the sole"
Malia "just in case, what if it doesn't work? What if we have to go up against this thing?"
Me "Then we are screwed"
Malia nodded "yea, and i hate to bring up bad news but Scott is still healing from what Theo did to him"
I smiled softly "You are wrong, Malia, Scott already healed"
I gave Scott a soft smile and he pulled his tricot up so that we could see his chest.
And there was no wound anymore.
they looked at him surprised.
Scott "it happened in the night, when we all got together Lydia out of Eichen. it healed. when we were all together again. when we were a pack"
Liam "the beast doesn't have a pack"
Scott shook his head "not like us"
I smirked "we are just awesome"
Scott chuckled "we can do this, guys. no one dies tonight. "
At the game.
I sat on the bleacher next to Hayden and Sidney.
I felt someone grabbing my foot from under the bleachers.
Stiles.
I smirked and kicked my foot back.
i could smell blood. I smirked even wider when i smelled blood. i must have broken his nose. Then Sidney narrowed her browns.
it was Stiles again.
She kicked him. I saw him coming out behind the bleachers on my side and he was holding his head.
I giggled when he lost balance and flew down.
The girls looked at me but i just shook my head. Hayden looked at me but i just nodded at a past out Stiles. She rolled her eyes smiling.
After a while i saw Kira running off the field but Scott nor Liam noticed it.
I followed her.
Fighting sounds came out of the boys locker room.
Me "Kira"
I speeded into the locker room and saw Kira fighting Brett's little sister.
Oh no no no.
I shifted and growled "Kira!"
But she kept fighting.
Her eyes were shining bright orange.
Brett's little sister shifted.
I growled and pushed Kira off the girl.
I took the stab from the girl's hand and tried to fight Kira but she caught me and rammed the stab into my chest.
I cried out in pain.
That thing impaled me.
I walked out to the hallway but then i fell down. I heard Scott's voice but Kira grabbed him and threw him next to me.
i groaned in pain "A little help?"
Scott's eyes grew wide and he pulled the stick out of me.
I coughed out relieved "Your girlfriend has gone crazy"
Scott helped me up.
I put my arm around his shoulders to support myself.
We were slowly walking back.
Scott said calm"Kira..Stop"
With each step she took to us, we stepped back.
Her eyes were flashing bright orange.
Me"That's a new color on you, K."
Scott yelled "Kira!"
she was going to punch him but he grabbed both of her wrists and pushed her into a classroom and against the desk.
Kira growled and the fox aura showed up.
Brett's sister put her arm around my shoulder to support me.
Me "Thank you"
She nodded "anytime"
We walked into the classroom.
Scott then growled "Kira!"
And she snapped out of her trance.
She looked at me and at my chest and her jaw dropped "oh my god. What did i do? was that me?"
I nodded.
Kira "I'm so sorry, Cori. "
I shrugged it off "Don't worry, it will heal."
Kira "what else did i do?"
Scott looked at me.
I asked her confused "You don't remember?"
She shook her head.
Suddenly we heard screams. People came rushing inside and though the hallways. I could smell the beast. Bretts' sis was going to walk out but Scott grabbed her, pushed her back and closed the door. Then the beast rushed though the hallway.
Kira whispered "what was that?"
Me "starts with Bea- and ends with -st"
Then my phone buzzed.

Meet us in the hideout.

Scott asked worried "What's wrong?"
Me "They want me to come to the hideout. "
Scott nodded "then go"
I shook my head "i won't leave you"
Scott "if it helps to kill the beast then go"
I nodded.
Scott opened the door and we walked out.
We saw that the lockers had big claw marks on it. Scott tensed.
I looked at him "still want me to go?"
He nodded and i speeded out to my car. I got in. I saw that my top had a hole in it.
Thanks to Kira. I looked at the backseat and saw Theo's shirt.
Where the hell did that came from?
I took my dress off and put on the shirt. It reached mid thigh.
Then i drove to the hideout.
