I felt someone slapping me across the face. I jerked up and looked around. Allison was kneeling in front of me.
I looked beside me and saw Dad slapping Isaac. I slipped backwards and leaned against the bed.
Isaac started to sob "Did you see them?"
Allison asked confused "Who?"
I was shaking "It were 5 of them. They wore black, we couldn't see there fa-faces the-y were covered with a mask"
Allison asked confused "what do you mean? like masks?"
Issac nodded "i could only see his eyes.... they were like green-yellow- They looked like fireflies"
Dad stood up and walked to the window "the security sensor wasn't triggered. "
Allison "how did they get in?"
Isaac shook his head "They didn't"
I took a deep breath "they came out of the shadow"
Allison to Dad "you know what that means?"
He didn't say anything.
I looked at him "Dad?"
Dad sighed "i'm not sure...listen, i need the three of you keeping this silent for a few hours"
Isaac asked confused "from everyone?"
Dad "just 24 hours"
Allison "they could have killed them, Dad"
Dad "but they didn't and i think there is a reason why. I think they might have been searching for me"
Next day. Night.
I didn't go to school because i was still confused about what had happened.
I went to the kitchen and drank some blood bags.
Dad asked me the other day why there were no more blood bags in the fridge and i had to lie to him. Another lie. Great.
My phone buzzed and i looked at it.
From: Aiden
Rave at Derek's.
You are coming.
I sighed.
At Derek's loft.
I stood in front of the door and could already hear the party. I opened the door and saw a lots of people dancing around.
It was a black light party.
I smirked and walked to the girl who painted the bodies.
The girl eyed me "How should i paint you?"
Then i heard a voice behind me "Let me"
It was Aiden.
The girl nodded and walked away. He was shirtless and was painted too.
Me "Derek's gonna rip your ass off if he fins out you threw a party at his place"
Aiden shrugged, smirking "he doesn't have to know"
Me "I saw you with Lydia the other day"
Aiden sighed "Cori-"
I shook my head, smiling "you don't have to explain anything. I see the way you look at her, it's like the way you looked at me a while ago."
Aiden "she told me that she doesn't want to be with the bad guys"
I chuckled "Low blow"
He chuckled.
Me "How long has this thing going on between you and her ?"
Aiden "A while now"
I smiled "You are cute together"
Aiden blushed a little "if you think so."
Me "i gotta know. I mean, you had a crush on me after all"
Aiden's eyes widened "who told you that?"
Me "your brother let that information slip"
He growled.
Me "and now you are falling in love with her"
Aiden "Friends?"
I smiled, nodding "Friends. "
Aiden "Close you eyes"
I asked confused "Why?"
Aiden "because i want to paint something on you"
I closed my eyes.

I opened them and looked at the little mirror that Aiden held up.
I smiled "It's beautiful"
Aiden "thank you. Wanna dance?"
I nodded and we began to dance. Everyone danced like crazy.

Me "I need fresh air."
He nodded and i started to walk away.
i saw Allison and Isaac dancing together.
I felt a pair of arms around my waist. I turned around and saw some random guy.
The Guy smirked at me "Looking for me?"
Me "No"
He pressed himself against me. I could hear his heart beating.
I looked him in the eyes and compelled him "you wont scream"
He nodded. I grabbed his neck, shifted, bite in his neck and drank some of his blood. It felt so good.
Then i heard a voice "Cori"
I let go of the boy and gave him some of my blood to heal the wound.
I looked him in the eyes and compelled him again "You will forget what happened and dance with someone else"
He nodded and took off. I opened the door to the balcony and and walked out.
Dead Dad "Did you really think that you would get rid of us?"
Me "What do you want now?"
Dead Aiden "Your switch off"
I asked confused"Why?"
Dead Allison "So that everyone can see the monster you really are. You've lost it"
Me "I was thirsty. There's no way i'm turning it off"
Dead Ethan took a step forward.
Dead Ethan " Now turn it off"
I shook my head"no"
Dead Scott "not yet"
I looked at him confused "what do you mean?"
I turned around to look at him but saw Lydia lying on the ground instead.
My jaw dropped "Oh my god."
It's the same thing that happened to me this morning.
I yelled "Aiden!!Aiden !!"
Danny and Aiden came out.
Aiden "oh my god. what happened?"
I panicked "I found her like this"
Danny said shocked "oh my god"
Me "Danny, try to find a blanket or something "
He nodded and ran back inside.
Aiden kneeled down to her "she is freezing"
Me "she is in shock. We need to wake her up"
Aiden "how?"
I kneeled beside Lydia and saw a number behind her ear. 5.
Me "Please don't hate me for that"
Then i slapped her. She gasped for air.
Me "Aiden, bring her inside and keep her warm"
He nodded and carried her in.
I walked in and to the boxroom and saw Isaac, Allison and Ethan.
Ethan was in the same state as Lydia, Isaac and i were in.
Me "what the hell?"
Allison walked to me and turned my head so that she could see behind my ear.
Me "It's a 5, isn't it?"
Allison "Isaac and Ethan have it too. How did you-"
Me "It just happened to Lydia "
Allison asked worried "Is she okay?"
I nodded "Aiden is with her"
She nodded.
I looked to Ethan "he has to turn"
Isaac nodded and broke Ethan's arm.
Ethan eyes flashed blue and he roared.
After that i heard another roar.
Isaac and Me looked at each other confused "Derek?"
Allison yelled "Go!"
I nodded and walked out.
Suddenly I heard Derek shout "GET OUT!!"
Everyone ran out.
I walked over to Derek "Derek"
Then I grabbed his jaw and shoved his head to the side to look behind his ear.
Oh no.
Then I sighed "You too?"
Derek asked confused "What do you mean with' too'?"
I shoved my hair to the side so that he could see behind my ear.
Derek growled "I'm gonna kill them "
I turned to him but stopped when i saw something behind him.
It were the five.
Me "Oh my good"
Everyone was out.
The pack came. Isaac and Allison held Ethan up.
Derek stepped in front of me.
The five figures turned to Aiden.
Aiden asked scared and tensed "why are they looking at me?"
The slowly took steps to him.
Aiden panicked "Guys!?"
Derek, Scott, Isaac and Aiden shifted and attacked the 5. Derek broke one of them the neck but nothing happened. The thing punched him hard against the post and he fell.
Then one of them shoved a katana out of his chest and Isaac backed off.
Allison "somebody do something"
Two of the figures held Aiden and one of them put his hand behind Aiden's head and looked him in the eyes. Aiden fell down.
Scott growled and flashed his alpha eyes. He looked at Kira and she was shocked.
The sun came out and the 5 disappeared.
Scott looked around shocked "What the hell just happened?"
I speeded to Aiden, kneeled down to him and looked behind his ear.
Then I turned to the pack "It's the same symbol"
Then looked at Isaac and Allison.
Isaac "The 24 hours are up"
I sighed.
