"Lena!"
The young woman jerked up right, loosing her balance on the branch she had been resting on. She fell over the side, her back slamming into the ground. Lena lay there trying to get her breath back and waiting for everything to stop spinning. Her long chocolate brown hair obscured her vision a bit as a shadow cast over her.
A hearty laugh rang out above Lena and she blinked a few times before blowing the hair out of her face revealing dark green eyes. "You're so jumpy, Lena," Shuuhei continued to laugh. "Sleeping on the job again?"
"Shut up," she grumbled, looking away as a light blush came to her cheeks. Shuuhei continued to chuckle as Lena sat up, resting her left elbow on a knee, chin in hand. "I wouldn't be so tired if I didn't have to pick you up from the bar last night."
"Ah, we were jus having fun," Shuuhei said.
Lena fixed Shuuhei with a look. "Passing out drunk at a bar is fun?"
"Okay so the hangover isn't the greatest but you still should have come."
"And be forced to drink by Rangiku? I think I'll pass."
The young man smirked. "I bet you'd look pretty funny drunk, Lena." Lena looked away.
"We'll you'll never find out."
"Damn..."
"Yoo-who! Shuuhei! Lena!" The two Soul Reapers glanced over and watched as Rangiku approached. "Everyone is going to the beach; do you guys want to come?"
"I'm on patrol," Lena said.
"No, you're not," Shuuhei said. "Your shift ended an hour ago."
"Then why did you wake me up?" she yelled.
"Because you're funny when you wake up." Lena stuck out her tongue at the Lieutenant before being dragged off by Rangiku.
"We're meeting back at the portal in an hour, Shuuhei!" Rangiku called back.

"Rangiku, I am not wearing that!" Lena protested for the hundredth time.
"Aw, come on!" Rangiku whined. "It'll look great on you!"
"No! I'm wearing a one-piece and that is final!"
"What's going on in here?" Nanao asked, as Momo, Isane, Unohana, Nemu, Rukia, Orihime, Yachiru and her walked into the room.
"Lena won't wear the swimsuit I picked out for her," Rangiku pouted.
"I'm not wearing that thing!" Lena yelled. "It's so revealing!!!"
"But it would look so cute on you-"
"No!" The girls exchanged glances before looking back at Lena. "W-w-what?" she asked a little uneasy. Nanao, Momo, Nemu, Yachiru, and Rangiku started walking forward. "W-w-what are you doing? Hey-! No! Help!" The girls' tackled Lena to the ground, while the others watched.
"Uh, should we stop them?" Orihime asked.
"I'm not messing with that," Rukia said sweat dropping.
"Let's go ahead with the others," Unohana suggested. "They'll catch up."
Lena watched as they snuck out. "Thanks a lot!" she yelled after them as Rangiku pulled off her shirt.
"Hey, Orihime!" Ichigo called over as the group of girls walked up.
"Where are Rangiku and the others?" Izuru asked.
"Oh, they'll catch up," Unohana said with a sweet smile.
"Kenny!" Yachiru yelled, flying through the air only to land on her Captain's shoulder. "Let's go, Kenny! Everyone else is coming!"
"Clear the way!" Momo yelled running towards the group with the other girls.
"Why?" Shuuhei asked.
"Because Lena is ticked!"
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU, RANGIKU!" Lena's voice rang throughout the Seireitei. The group sweat dropped at this.
"Then let's go!" Renji exclaimed and everyone rush through the portal. Rangiku and Lena were the last to run through.

The sun was shining when they reached the other side and people started breaking into different groups to do various activities. "Let's play some beach volleyball!" Rangiku exclaimed. "Oh, Lena!" she called. "Do you want to come play?"
"No!" she yelled from behind a rock. "I'm not coming out!"
"What did you make her wear?" Renji asked.
"It's not that big of a deal. She wanted to wear a one-piece and I said she would look much cuter in a two-piece that I picked out for her."
Shuuhei walked over to the rock. "Come on, Lena, it can't be that bad."
"Yes, it is."
"We're going to have to see it eventually."
"No, you're not. I'm going to stay behind here the entire time."
Shuuhei sighed walking around one side, but Lena moved the opposite way. "Come on, Lena." He ran around the other side, but Lena ran the other way. A vein began to pulse on Shuuhei's head. "Lena," he said in warning.
"No way, José!"
"This is quite funny," Ukitake said.
"That's it, Lena!" Shuuhei yelled at the rock. "You're coming out whether you like it or not!"
Orihime then leaned over to whisper in Rukia's ear, "I think Shuuhei just wants to see her in a swimsuit."
"I totally agree," Rukia giggled.
Shuuhei grumbled before looking at the top of the rock. He then smirked, jumping over the rock and towards an unprepared Lena. She whipped her head up, eyes going wide in shock, and screamed. There was a loud crash before Lena yelled, "LIEUTENANT HISAGI! GET OFF OF ME!"
"Hmm..." Rangiku thought to herself. "I wonder what is going on over there?"
On the other side of the rock Shuuhei had pinned Lena to the ground under his body, her wrists in his hands. He was a little shocked to see she was wearing a bright orange hoodie and jean shorts. "Quit being a baby and come out!" Shuuhei yelled back.
"NO!"
"You're wearing a jacket and jeans, so what's the big deal?"
"Rangiku will make me take it off if I go out there!"
"Then just take it off!" Rangiku yelled.
Lena's face grew as red as a tomato. "Come on," Shuuhei grumbled, a light blush on his cheeks as he pulled Lena to her feet and out form behind the rock.
Rangiku's eyes gleamed when she saw the young woman. "N-n-n-no!" she protested, trying to pull away from Shuuhei's grasp. Rangiku tackled the girl to the ground. "Hey-! Stop-! Rangiku!"
"Tada!" the woman exclaimed, revealing Lena in her swimsuit. All of the guys' jaws popped open. Her bathing suit consisted of a black top with lace on the top and black bottoms with small strings holding the cloth around her waist. Lena's face was as red as a cherry, shifting uncomfortably. She wrapped both arms around her stomach.
"Can we play volleyball now?" Yachiru whined.
"Let's go!" Rangiku exclaimed, pulling Lena along. She snapped her other arm tighter around the stomach, trying to cover the revealing skin.
The teams were: Renji, Rukia, Rangiku, Izuru, and Lena against Shuuhei, Nanao, Orihime, Ikkaku, and Ichigo.
"We're going to kick your butt!" Renji yelled.
"Oh yeah?" Ichigo yelled back as he served the ball. It was passed back and forth across the court. Lena would hit the ball with one hand, her other hand still clasping her side.
"Come on, Lena!" Shuuhei yelled playfully. "I know you can do better than that!"
Lena growled. "You asked for it, Shuuhei!" she yelled back.
"Lena! It's all yours!" Izuru yelled as he set the ball into the air. Lena jumped into the air, releasing her side. Shuuhei's eyes darted to the area of skin she had been hiding. There was a small tattoo there. It was small but still readable. The tattoo was the number '69'.
Lena drove the ball into a spike, spiraling it towards the other side. It smacked the Lieutenant right in the face, forcing him to the ground. "Shuuhei!" Orihime exclaimed, rushing forward.
"Hey, are you alright?" Ichigo asked.
"Peachy," Shuuhei grumbled.
"Oops..." Lena said, rubbing the back of her head innocently. "I guess I hit too hard. My bad."

"I really am sorry," Lena mumbled head down.
"Don't sweat it," Shuuhei said taking the ice pack from his face.
They were back in the Soul Society, sitting outside Shuuhei's room on the porch. Both had changed into their kimono pants and loose T-shirts they had acquired in the World of the Living.
"You know," Shuuhei said, breaking the silence. "I don't know why you didn't want to wear that swimsuit. It looked good on you."
Lena's cheeks heated up under her hair. "It was so revealing. Soul Reapers are supposed to cover up their bodies, not expose it like that."
"So what if we reveal skin at times? We're always having to guess what's under each others clothing so-"
"You're a pervert, Lieutenant."
Shuuhei laughed. "I'm a guy, come on." Lena rolled her eyes. "And you didn't disappoint." Lena looked over at Shuuhei through her curtain of hair, trying to hide her blush.
"W-what?"
Shuuhei turned to look at her. "I said: you didn't disappoint." He leaned in closer between Lena's legs, forcing her to lean backwards. "You should wear bathing suits more often," he said looking her dead in the eyes, his face very close to hers.
"Lieutenant!"
Shuuhei chuckled leaning forward and kissed Lena's cheek. Her cheeks turned a hundred shades of red. "You look cute when embarrassed." His hand then traveled over her stomach to where the tattoo was, and sneaked under the shirt. "So... when did you get that tattoo?" Lena squeaked. "Was that why you didn't want to wear that bathing suit?" Shuuhei asked, his fingers tracing it.
His actions were sending butterflies through the young woman's stomach. She looked away, trying to focus on something else. "W-w-well that was one reason..."
Shuuhei smirked, pulling up her shirt so the area was exposed and looked at the black ink. "Nice tattoo. Did you know it has a double meaning?"
Lena's arms fell out from under her supported body in shock before she shot back up. "Lieutenant!" she exclaimed in embarrassment.
Shuuhei roared in laughter and pulled Lena closer. "I was kidding. I can settle with this for now." The man kissed Lena on the lips and in return she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. Shuuhei grunted, wrapping his arms around Lena. He picked her up off the porch, and the young woman wrapped her legs around Shuuhei's waist as he sat up, legs straddling his hips.
When they broke both were breathing heavily. "So, Rangiku was right about you liking me."
"She told you!"
Shuuhei chuckled leaning his forehead against Lena's. "Yes, and I'm glad she did."
