- PREGNANCY CHECK : 9 Months aka. "IT'S TIME" -
A new month has finally arrived and for some odd reason, last week was filled with ups and downs during my pregnancy.
I've been experiencing some back pain from time to time that Todoroki had to massage me, even though he's tired and I even tried to decline so I can let him rest and suggested that I should go to the spa instead.
But Todoroki being a caring and loving partner that he is, he said didn't want me to go so I can get some rest at home and stated that he is not too tired and would do what it takes to make me feel better no matter what.
I couldn't say no to that suggestion after asking him twice and he was also giving me this cute look just so I can change my mind - which apparently worked in the end.
Aww, Todoroki.
10 points for being good husband goes to Todoroki once again, uwu.
Anyways, since the new month is here and judging from these weird experiences that has taken its toll on me during those past few weeks, my gut is telling me that it's already the ninth month.
That could only mean one thing.
At any time, my water will be broken but we can't say for certain of when or what time it would be.
Anyway, I'm currently at home relaxing with a nice aromatic tea and watching the daily news.
Todoroki is not here because of an emergency mission from Endeavor's agency so I'm all alone in our house with my babies inside me.
I gently rubbed my large belly while sighing in peace and picked up the remote controller so I can change the channel.
"The apples in the market has finally decreased it's price and-"
*CHANGE CHANNEL*
"Here we have our latest product that has been popular in Mustafa!"
I smiled and placed my cup down as I continued watching from our flat screen TV in our living room.
'Hmm, there's nothing good in TV right now. Maybe Netflix would do', I thought to myself before looking for the Netflix button from the remote, 'Yeah, I have to continue this series I was binging the other day-'
*DING DONG*
The moment the Netflix screen was shown on my screen, our doorbell was being used and it's ringing quite loudly.
Curious, I stood up from the couch and decided to answer the door.
I took my time walking since this belly is a bit heavy and by the time I finally answered the door -
"I-Izuku! Wait, and Bakugou?!"
It turns out the people who are at my doorstep is none other than my childhood friends that I grew up with for more than ten years.
"Hey, (Y/N)-chan!", Midoriya said and the moment he saw how big my womb was, his eyes widened, "W-Woah! It's bigger than the last time I saw it!".
"Hey, ner-I mean, (Y/N)", Bakugou said and excused himself before his cheeks turn red from embarrassment, "Tch, sorry. I got used to calling you that, aren't I?".
I giggled just seeing their presence and replied, "Hey, guys! What brings you two here this weekend?".
"Oh! We're actually looking for Todoroki-kun!", Midoriya said and smiled at me, "We actually need to give this to him".
From Midoriya's hands, it looks like a gift bag and it has the tag "Happy Birthday, Todoroki!" in it.
I raised a brow and questioned, "Huh? Isn't Shoto's birthday like two months ago?".
"Yeah, it is! Actually, I already greeted him on that day and told him that I will come by and give him my gift when I'm not busy!", Midoriya said and laughed shyly, "And that day is today, haha".
"Oh yeah! You've been busy fighting crime for a few months, Izuku. I mean, it's understandable given from everyone's hero duty schedules", I said and chuckled.
"Right? To be honest, I felt bad too since I'm one of his friends and being a good friend that I am to him, I really wanted to give something for his birthday, you know?", Midoriya said and grinned, "Same could be said for Kaachan here!".
"H-Hey!! What are you spouting nonsense for, damn Deku?!", Bakugou said and glared at the green haired man, "I'm not here for the same reason! I just happened t-to come by and see how (Y/N) is doing with her pregnancy!! That's a-all, idiot!".
"Oh yeah, then what have you got there, Kaachan?", I questioned and smirked at him before crossing my arms.
The blond pom-I mean, man's face shifted when he saw my eyes looking at the wrapped box that he was holding the whole time.
"D-Dammit...", Bakugou said and looked away, "Some things have never changed, huh, (Y/N)? You don't hesitate to point out things. You and y-your damn keen eyes. What are you? A female version of Hawks? Huh?!".
"Oh, why thank you, Katsuki. Hahaha! But come on, no need to be embarrassed!", I said and smiled, "Besides, I'm sure Shoto will appreciate it! I know that the two of you are close just like how Midoriya and him are! He told me a lot of stories about his missions with you".
"W-What?! Tell me, what did he share?! I-I hope he's not sharing you that one time when I was-I MEAN, FORGET IT!! G-Geez, what the heck am I even saying?", Bakugou replied and huffed.
Midoriya and I laughed from Bakugou's outburst that was actually hilarious and before I could asked them if they can stay for a while in the house, I felt something wet and my stomach began to give me pain.
My eyes slowly widened from the sudden reaction from my body and when I looked down, I saw my pants getting drenched.
The moment I started to groan from pain and hugged myself, Midoriya and Bakugou were able to react quickly and approached me closely.
"(Y-Y/N)-chan...?! W-What's the matter?! Are you okay?!", Midoriya questioned with a hint of worry.
"O-Oi, are you okay?! Speak to us, (Y/N)!", Bakugou questioned as well.
"M-My...my w-water...", I spoke in a pained voice and closed my eyes, "...m-my W-WATER BROKE!!".
Both of the men looked at me with surprise then each other and without a moment's hesitation, they began to carry me.
"Hold on just a minute, where's that damn Icy Hot?!", Bakugou said and looked inside the house, "OI, ICY HOT! WHERE ARE YOU? GET HERE QUICK AND-"
"H-He's...he's having a hero d-duty right now!", I interrupted and groaned in pain, "He said i-it's an emergency!".
"H-Huh?! In a w-weekend?!", Midoriya said and wore a worried expression, "Looks like we have not much of a choice. We need to bring you to the hospital, pronto!".
Bakugou nodded and both of them brought me towards Bakugou's car that he was using to travel all the way to my house and carefully gestured me to go inside.
"Don't worry, (Y/N)-chan! We'll bring you there as fast as we can!"
"The two of us will make sure that nothing bad will happened to you. Got it?!"
I smiled from their heroic words and nodded weakly before the three of us went straight to the hospital so I can go through my labor.
- TIME SKIP -
Time had passed by so quickly and yes, my labor in this hospital was a complete success.
I had to go to natural labor and it was painful indeed just as I suspected and the doctors who are supporting me are making sure that I can still push so that our twins will pop out of me.
"Push, Mrs. Todoroki!"
"You can do it! Just a little more!"
"Oh! Another head is coming out! Few more pushes!"
"Yes, that's it!"
"There we go! Congratulations, Mrs. Todoroki! You did great!"
The words of encouragement from the doctors who helped me still remained in my head when I finally regained consciousness and seeing my two babies for the first time after my hard work was absolutely worth it.
Both of them looked exactly like Todoroki but they had my eyes.
As for their color, one twin is half-red and half-(your hair color) and of course, the other twin had half-white and half-(your hair color).
They were beautiful and angelic and seeing them cry in front of me was also making me cry with joy.
To think that I was able to make it to the hospital in time with the help of Midoriya and Bakugou and boy, I can't thank them enough.
It's sort of like a calling or sign that it was already my time of going through labor.
I am forever thankful for those guys for helping me get here.
I finally managed to open my eyes and the door of my hospital room was opened by my obstetrician with my two babies in one hospital cart.
The moment I saw my children, I can feel my heart leap that I automatically sat up.
"You're finally awake, Mrs. Todoroki!", my obstetrician spoke and smiled kindly, "Congratulations, you have two sons and you did an excellent job during your labor!".
I nodded rapidly and replied, "It's all thanks to the doctors who helped me and also to my friends as well-Wait, where are they?".
"Oh, I heard they were looking for your husband after they brought you in the labor room", my obstetrician said while pushing the cart of my twins towards me, "It looked like they were in a hurry".
"I see, they really wanted to let my husband know right away or...", I said and sighed with a smile, "...probably help him finish his emergency mission like last time so they can bring him here".
"Hahaha...", my obstetrician replied before carrying one of the twins, "These three must be great friends then, Ms. Todoroki".
"Haha, they've been classmates in U.A. and known each other for so long now", I added and laughed, "So yes, they are, hehe".
My obstetrician laughed along before giving me the twin with red hair and watched her as she gently carried the white haired twin.
"Hello, little one", I cooed and kissed the top of his head, "You're so cute-Oh! And hello to you too, little one number two!".
I gently received the other twin from her and made sure I carried them both in my protective arms.
"I'll be taking my leave for a while, Ms. Todoroki. I'll just prepare the birth certificates for the two angels", my obstetrician said and bowed, "I'm sure you're husband will be here any moment".
With that, my obstetrician left and here I am alone with my two sons in my arms.
I still can't believe that I actually have children now with Todoroki and heck, it almost felt like a dream.
Of course, the pain is already convincing enough that it really is reality but that pain was worth it.
*SLAM*
"M-My love, are you here-"
I gasped when I turned to see who entered the room and it was none other than my husband, Todoroki.
He was panting, his forehead is covered with beads of sweat and it looks like he's wearing his hero costume.
Did he ran all the way here perhaps or...?
I automatically smiled after finally seeing the presence of my husband and before I could say anything, he ran towards me and our two sons.
"Oh my gosh, you're a-alright and...", Todoroki said and looked at our sons that are being carried in my arms.
His words were stopped momentarily as his eyes were set on our two sons and his eyes were slowly forming with tears.
"Hi, honey! You're finally here!", I said and giggled before looking back at our babies, "Look~! Our sons are here~!".
The red and white man was still a loss of words just looking at his precious sons that he ended up giving me and my sons a big family hug.
"They are beautiful and precious just like two little angels", Todoroki said and chuckled softly while crying with his joyful tears while gently touching both of their hands with his slender fingers, "As expected, I knew my hair colors will be divided for each twin".
I laughed at Todoroki's comment and when he looked at me, he didn't hesitate to plant me a kiss on the lips before nuzzling his nose against mine.
"Also...I...I must apologize, my love. I-If only I didn't have an emergency duty on a weekend such as this I would have known that you're-"
I interrupted him by kissing his lips once more and showed him a reassuring and geniune smile.
"Hey, don't put yourself down like that, honey! It's not your fault!", I said and smiled brightly, "I actually didn't know too that this would be the day of my labor and besides, it's a good thing that Midoriya and Bakugou for stopping by at our place and brought me here! If they weren't there, I would have called you or maybe call Iida to bring me here, you know?".
He sighed in relief after hearing my words of reassurance and couldn't help but kiss me again.
"You're right...you're absolutely right, my apologies again", Todoroki said and smiled at me before looking back at our sons, "At least, you and our sons are okay. I'm more than happy and relieved nonetheless-".
"Waa~!!"
Our conversation was cut short when both of our sons started crying and this made both of our hearts melt.
"Shh, shh. It's okay, mommy and daddy are here", I said and kissed their foreheads before rocking them back and forth, "Look, look. Your father is right in front of you!".
I gestured him to carry them and watching this moment right in front of me is making me tear up like a proud wife.
"Hello, my sons", Todoroki said in a soft tone before giving them a few forehead kisses, "It's nice to finally meet you both. Your mother and I have been excited for your arrival".
The two babies in his arms continued to cry but it began to soften once they finally became familiar with our voice that are present in this room.
My husband rocked them back and forth and gently hummed softly, making my heart explode from this wholesomeness.
"My love, I'm overjoyed right now", Todoroki said and looked at me, "From this day forth, we're officially parents and I promise you that I'll be a good father to our sons. I swear to you as your faithful husband".
I smiled widely just hearing his declaration of being a good parent and husband before me that I awarded him by pressing his lips against his.
"And I'll be a good mother, hehe", I added and giggled before looking back at our twins.
After sharing our moment together as a family, Todoroki signaled Midoriya and Bakugou to enter the hospital room, who are just sitting outside the whole time just for us to be alone, so they can see our children.
Both of them were surprised to see the presence of our sons and they looked like happy uncles seeing their nephews for the first time.
Midoriya commented that they look exactly like mini Todorokis and kept theorizing on what would their quirks be once they turn four. Of course.
As for Bakugou, he congratulated to the both of us in his usual tough tone but he looked really soft when he tried to carry one of them like a protective uncle. Cute!
When they asked what would their names be, Todoroki and I answered them back with these names: Shouya Todoroki (Half-Red and [Your Hair Color]) and Shion Todoroki (Half-White and [Your Hair Color]).
