Chapter 57 ...Date?

Sumire POV

After saying goodbye to Fideo we went back to the lodge.

"Mamoru! Don't take too long! We still have the opening ceremony!"

Endou: "Okay!"

Endou waved to me as I was heading back into the lodge. 

Fideo, huh? He was really fast...

"I wonder what his team is like..."

*Next Day*

Aki: "Everyone, gather up for a bit!"

Everyone: "Friendly exchange party?"

Aki: "We have an invitation from Knights of Queen. They'd like to get to know us before the match, so they asked us to come formally dressed to London Palace at 6 o'clock today."

Tsunami: "Formally?"

Tachimukai: "They mean to wear black suits with neckties like this."

Tsunami: "Hm... They want us to wear that?!"

Megane: "Well, it's only natural coming from them. After all, they're a country of gentlemen."

Aki: "So make your preparations for tonight, okay?"

I awkwardly looked away from them.

No way am I going to that party.

3rd POV

Endou: "They're all amazing..."

Endou watched as the play unfolded around him. Fideo, Teres, Mark, and Dylan were playing against each other while Endou stood at the goal post watching them.

Endou: "It's like their feet just sucks up the ball."

And after a while...

Aki: "Ah! I forgot!"

Everyone on the field stopped their game.

Teres: "Who's that girl in the dress?"

Endou looked towards Aki and remembered.

Endou: "Crap! I was supposed to go to a party!"

Fideo: "Party?"

Endou: "Sorry, I have to go. See you later! It was fun!"

Aki: "Hurry, hurry! Everyone's gone already!"

Endou: "Sorry, Aki!"

After Endou and Aki started disappearing from sight...

Teres: "Fun...? He didn't even do anything."

Mark: "What a strange guy."

Fideo smiled as Endou left.

Fideo: "So..."

Fideo turned around.

Fideo: "Are you always going to hide there?"

The others looked confused then looked to where Fideo was looking. A figure appeared from behind the gates.

Sumire: "So you knew I was there."

Fideo: "Yeah."

Fideo smiled at Sumire and she looked away.

Fideo: "So... what party was Mamoru talking about?"
