Monday, 1:10 pm - Jung Enterprise Building, Seoul, Korea

If she was being honest, Bora was surprised her father was giving her a call in the middle of the day. Well, if she was really being honest, Bora was annoyed. He totally interrupted her in the middle of a meeting with one of Jung Industries representatives. She was this close in landing a deal with them; all what's left is their sweet signature.

"This better be important," Bora said through the phone as she answered her father's call. "I'm in the middle of a meeting."

"More important than your brother finally being assigned as Moon Corporation's new CEO?" Moon Hajoon responded. His daughter was always the tough one among them; having to grow up in a manor surrounded by men all her life. But being her parents, he accepted it.

"Old news," Bora retorted. "It's not like you're gonna give your dynasty to your illegitimate child."

"Hey, now." Hajoon said in a warning tone. "You know you'll still get your inheritance."

"Whatever. I'm flying back to Busan after this meeting anyway. So if you have a party planned for Taeil's CEO coronation. I'll probably be there. Goodbye." Bora hangs up, not wasting any more of her time and energy on her father.

It's not like no one saw this coming before. Everyone knew Taeil was the one inheriting everything in the Moon Dynasty. From the land, money, title, and even fame.

Ever since they were children, they're all expected to live up to the Moon name.

It's especially harder when you're only a half-moon. (No pun intended.) And the only girl in the family.

Bora had to learn that the hard way. It's not like her mother taught her how to deal with those before leaving her at the Moon Manor's doorstep.

In any case, Bora worked hard to get the position she has now. She earned her father's and company's trust to be competent. And that's why she's here now.

About to sign one of the most important deals Moon Corp. has ever had.

"Ms. Kwon?"

Bora turned around to the employee, calling her back to the occurring meeting. She had to excuse herself out of the room because of her father's incessant calling.

"Yes, I'll be right there."

Bora returned with a small apology. She faced the Jung Entreprises representatives, flashing them her business-friendly smile. "So." She whipped out a pen from her breast pocket. "Where do I sign?"

She closed the deal five minutes later, exchanging thank yous and handshakes. Her PA discreetly sprayed alcohol to her palm when the men weren't looking.

After that, alongside her employees, she retreated back to the family jet to fly back to Busan, Korea

"How was it?"

"It's like a walk in the park."

Bora made herself comfortable on the jet's plane; a glass of champagne in hand. She was on the phone with her best friend, Yoon Jeongyeon, known restaurateur and best chef in the world. At least to Bora.

They were talking about their respective businesses, bragging about their latest achievement. Bora with the Jung Enterprise, and Jeongyeon opening up a new restaurant.

She also happened to mention the celebratory party for Taeil later that night. Bora's adoptive brother, Yuta, and basically the family's party planner. He was the one who contacted and arranged the event with Jeongyeon. The restaurateur was beyond annoyed. She almost killed him.
