3rd person pov:

As people start to leave the party Athena tells them bye along with the twins Andrew and Serena. You could tell Athena was on edge along with Jayden.
"You good" Jaylen asks Jayden which snaps him out his thoughts"hm yeah um I'll tell you later" Jayden says still seeming lost in a daze

"You and Athena are both acting so weird" Jaylen mumbles walking away. He goes over to Athena to see her also looking into space. The snaps his fingers in front of her face saying "you good?" With a questioning face. To which she replies with "yeah yeah I'm good" even though she was lying

"Oh alright well we're leaving" Jaylen says still not fully believing her but he shook off the feeling and walked out the venue. Soon enough the rest of his family walked out. He waited as Andrew and Jayden caught up to him from where he was standing at the end of the venue entrance.

"Damn you guys take forever" Jaylen says rolling his eyes as he starts walking towards the car"shut up anyway when's Giovanni coming back" Jayden asks walking side by side with Andrew and Jaylen to Andrew's car.

"Lower your voice and you know he had to fly to New York for a business meeting" Andrew replies as his car comes in view. "Business meeting... more like killing drugs and money" Jayden mumbles

"aye watch it you knew this is how we live since we were born we are the Rossi family or better known in the business as the Rossi mafia so get your shit together" Andrew says stopping Jayden from continuing walking

"Leave him the fuck alone you just wanna be the head of the family sooo bad" Jaylen says defending Jayden. "Shut up Jaylen it's not like you two idiots could run it can you" Andrew says death staring them "exactly what I thought" Andrew says rolling his eyes

"Whatever.. wait who's that?" Jayden says pointing in the direction of a hooded figure uncomfortably close to Athena. This makes Andrew and Jaylen snap their attention towards Athena's direction.

"What the fuck.." Andrew mumbles to himself. The next thing they see makes everything seem like it's moving in slow motion. Athena had turn around to see who was behind her then the hooded figure pulled a gun out shooting Athena in the stomach twice.

When this happened time seemed to stop for everyone. Andrew and the twins did the first thing that they were trained from a young age. This was to pull out the guns they owned that were hidden in the back of their waist bands of their pants. They instantly took fire at the hooded person.

They aimed like they were taught all of them being able to each get a shot at the hooded figure that was running towards the get away van. They shot at the van as it sweared through the mostly empty parking lot.

"Shit Athena and mom!" Jayden yelled making him Andrew and Jaylen run in the direction of blooded Athena in the arms of their mom who was panicked and went to her original roots to yelling in Italian.

They ran over to Athena and their mom as fast as they could. "merda merda! che fine hanno fatto gli scagnozzi dove sono questi figli di puttana!" Serena screamed in Italian as she put pressure on Athena bloody stomach
(Translation:"Shit shit what happened to the goons where are these sons of bitches")

"Mama calm down they must have took them out" Andrew said frustrated. "We need to get Athena to the hospital she's losing a lot of blood" Jaylen says. The twins and Andrew lift Athena up walking her to Serena's car as the twins get in the back with Athena on their lap and Andrew in the driver seat with Serena next to him in the passenger seat.
