It was, maybe noon. He didn't know. He just wished it would end already. "Ezra!" He jumped when she yelled his name. "I'm here!" She scowled at him. Not at all pleased with his still short attention span. "This is important Ezra." She told him while motioning to the armor set on the table. "I know Sabine." She held her glare, not buying it. "Kanan gave a very similar speech when he taught me about lightsabers. And then again when I made my first one."

"Oh really. I'd like to hear this. Just the important parts." He took a deep breath, remembering the now years old lesson. Taking his lightsaber from his belt he places it on the table.

"The lightsaber. A weapon? Yes. A defense? Yes. But, it's also the only thing a Jedi truly owns. It's a part of us, an extension of ourselves. But, at the same time. It might just outlive us. Like my kyber now, I found it still in its old lightsaber back on Malachor. It called to me. I can get a similar feeling from the armor. It resonates with the life force of someone long-dead. But yet, it wants a new life to be within it. Just like how my kyber lost the first person to resonate with it. Only for it, out of the hundreds of kyber's lying dormant on Malachor, to call out to me. The armor is very similar, just less picky."

She was surprised by how well he understood the whole concept with the armor. "I didn't realize that Jedi held their lightsabers in such high regard." She said in a quiet tone, now having a new respect for the Jedi and their way of fighting. "It's not the lightsaber, Sabine but the crystal inside. When I pull the saber to my hand I'm not calling the hilt but the crystal. I can pull the hilt, but the kyber might reject me. Kanan once told me that the crystals are alive in their own special way. That's why it's a trial to get one. You must resonate with it and it with you."

They sat there for a minute. "Ezra I think you understand enough about the meaning behind the armor and will treat it right. So now I want you to go try it on." He nodded and began clipping the armor to his bodysuit they had left out for him during his shower. "Sabine." He looked down at her waiting for her to look up at him. "Need help getting it on?" He shook his head. "Listen, I'll wear the armor, I actually like how the full set looks. But don't think I'll but my lightsaber away or stop using the force." She nodded. "I wasn't going to ask that of you anyway Ezra. Those are fundamental aspects of who you are." He smiled, glad she understood his reasoning without much explanation on his part.

Pulling the helmet over his head he looked around. "Man, I gotta say Sabine. It's weird seeing everything all dulled out and grey. But whys everything grey?" She stood and began adjusting the armor. "It's a flash dampener. Ya know, blaster bolts can almost be blinding in the dark. Even more so a flashbang. Now then, on the helmet, there's also a noise reducer. So said flashbang is less flash and bang. And any other explosions won't be as loud. It's also got a built-in commlink for hands-free communication. Also, feel this button ender the helmet's chin?"

She asked while grabbing his hand and putting his finger on the button. "Yea." She smiled up at him. "That's good, the gloves haven't gotten stiff and dry rotted.  But the button changes the visor's vision. Right now, you're in standard mode. One-click and you'll be but into night vision. Two and you'll get thermals. Three and you'll get electrical signals. With four clicks you'll be put back into the standard mode."

She took a step back and admired the sight of her man in armor. "It looks good on you Ezra." She walked around him, taking in the sight. "Now then, before I get a little too appreciative how about you go do some workouts to see how well it moves with you?" He nodded and made his way to the gym.

"Man'da, he looks too good in that. I need a cold shower." With that said she made way for her bathroom.
