Day well spent

*Next morning*
*9:30 AM*
Kyle woke up in Tegan's couch with his arms wrapped around her in a hug and saw a grin on her face

Kyle's mind: Awww, we slept like this? You're a little angel

He unwrapped his arms and tried to move out of the couch, but wasn't careful enough as he accidentally ended waking Tegan up

Tegan: *half asleep* Huh, what's on

Kyle: Morning love - he kissed her forehead and tried to get up but Tegan stopped him

Tegan: *yawns* Please stay - she clinged to his arm

Kyle: *giggles* I'd love to, but we have to get up

Tegan: Awww, but I'm fuzzy and warm and comfy and can we stay like this, pretty please? - she looked at him with a cute pout

Kyle's mind: Damnit you're too cute - he couldn't help but smile at his girlfriend's adorable nature

Kyle: Don't you have to go to rehab in like an hour and a half?

Tegan: *groans* Ugh, yeah I have to, but can't I stay here until I have to go?

Kyle: You really really really don't want to walk do ya?

Tegan: You're right in that assessment luv - she giggled

Kyle: Okay then - he picked her up as Tegan wrapped her arms and good leg around him and he walked her to a dinning room chair

Kyle: What's to eat?

Tegan: I have Biscuits and gravy if you want, you can go get cinnamon rolls too, there's a bakery across the street

Kyle: No thanks I'm good

Tegan: Can you get them please? I could really use them for some energy

Kyle: *giggles* Okay, just for you - he kissed her before leaving

A few minutes later Kyle came back with fresh cinnamon rolls and put them on the dinning table

Kyle: Bon appetit

Tegan: Oh thank you so much! - she got one and started eating - I feel the energy going up

Kyle: *giggles* Don't speak with your mouth full! - he jokingly told her

Tegan: You're not my mum - she scoffed

Kyle: That doesn't mean I can't take care of you as well - he wrapped her in a hug from behind and kissed her in the cheek

Tegan: But I can take care of myself I'm a big girl now! - she joked

Kyle: Awwwww yes you are - he kissed her again a few times - how's your knee feeling today?

Tegan: It's a bit better every day, and as much as I hate having to go to rehab often I know it helps me so much

Kyle: And would you hate it that much if I was your rehab buddy?

Tegan: You're coming? Yay! - she let out a happy squeal

Kyle: *giggles* Yep, thought it'd be a nice surprise for my girlfriend and seeing how chuffed you are safe to say I made a good decision

Tegan: Aww yes you did! Thanks luv you just made my day

Kyle: Just like it always - he joked, Tegan rolled her eyes and he playfully stuck out the tip of his tongue

Kyle: But for real, what do you say if after you're done with rehab we go have lunch together? Pretty neat plan, innit?

Tegan: I love it! Let me finish this and get changed so we can get going
