I was shocked that hugging me even crossed Nico's mind. I looked down to notice that Nico was trembling in my arms. Still attempting to hold on to him, I checked his forehead for fever. Then I realized that the night was chilly. When Nico finally pushed me away I took off my sweater and handed it to Nico. Nico looked down at it as if confused.
"I noticed you were shivering so..."
"Ummm...Uhhhh..."
"Put it on before you become a Nicosicle. Doctor's ord-"
"Don't you dare finish that sentence Solace."
"What are you going to do? Summon the dead? Don't you even think about it! Put on the sweater before I force you into it."
He held up his hands as of in surrender. He slipped on the sweater that covered his hands and came down to his knees. I hated myself for it but I liked how Nico looked in my sweater. I got up and offered Nico a hand. He took it and didn't let go until we reached the end of our walk.
"So...is that a yes?"
Nico hesitated and seemed about to run when I grabbed his hand and pulled him in for another hug trying to avoid what had happened earlier. I was not going to let my sunshine get away.
