Third Day

It is your third day on the job. As yesterday, you drove Scott and yourself to work. You parked the car in the employees' parking space and exited the car with Scott, shutting the door behind you. You locked the car's doors as you entered the gauche building, Scott opening the door for you, being the gentleman he is.

He trailed behind you as you went into the employee's only room. On the way there, you passed by Circus Baby herself. You didn't see Funtime Freddy and Bon Bon, as you usually did. You shrugged to yourself; they were probably either entertaining some kids in another room or getting some repairs done. You walked past the tall animatronic girl, trying not to shudder as her eyes followed you and Scott.

You opened the plain door. Inside, you unfortunately saw Timothy. As soon as you opened the door, he bolted from where he was sitting and made intense eye contact with you. He shouted, approaching you and your fiancé, "Hiya, friends!"

You tried not to roll your eyes, "Hello, Timothy."

"Soooo, today you're gonna be doing the prize counter, as usual, haha!" He then turned to Scott, "And youuuu! You're gonna be unloading packages of the prizes from our delivery trucks with me today!"

You nodded and made your way to the bathroom, feeling bad that Scott had to deal with Timothy again. You threw on your uniform, making it quick and got out of the bathroom as fast as you got in. You passed your fiancé on the way out, giving him a good luck wink. Making your way out of the employee's only room, you walked past Circus Baby once more. She was now being swarmed by children. As you continued walking, you glanced at her behind your back. She was staring at you as she filled balloons with her fingertips for the children. You couldn't tell which was weirder; her staring at you like that or her filling balloons with oxygen literally from her fingertips.

You shuddered and decided not to look back at her. You took a seat behind the prize counter, grateful that you're not too close to the animatronics at this part of the building. You noticed that Nisha wasn't here again. You wondered if she even does her job. Shrugging, you leaned your head on a hand, waiting for people to come up to the counter.

As precedented, your day was pretty boring. There's not much to do at the prize counter, to be frank. Most of the day, you were waiting in anticipation for the weekend. Saturday's when you'll finally move in with Scott, and you couldn't word how excited you were for it. Sure, you two have been together for a while, but it'll finally feel official living in the same house, sleeping in the same bed, and whatnot. You feel so grateful, having someone like Scott in your life; you'd never thought you'd ever have someone as good, as caring, as wonderful as him. You have quite the catch.

But, besides being lost in thought most of the day, you had a few customers. Nothing as crazy as yesterday, thank whatever's up there. You didn't deal with any angsty teens today, but you did deal with a little girl, dressed up like Circus Baby. She kept asking you if she could bring the giant robot clown girl of the same name home. Of course, you told her no, but you couldn't help but laugh on the inside. You really wish you were comfortable around the animatronics enough to bring one home, but you chalk that up to the child's imagination. You don't really understand why the kids like the robots so much, but what can you do?

Regardless, after the umpteenth time asking, the little girl finally understood that she couldn't take home the animatronic and ran back to go play with said robot. Other than that, the day was pretty uneventful, as stated before.

After what seemed like hours more of boredom and anticipation, your shift finally ended, along with Scott's. You got up from the prize counter and passed by Circus Baby again, who was still staring at you, as you briskly walked to the employee's only room.

You grinned at Scott who was sitting on the chair in the room, not in uniform. You guessed he finished a little bit before you did. You said in a joking tone, "Soooo, how was your day with Timothy?"

"Oh, wonderful, absolutely wonderful," He rolled his eyes, smiling.

You made your way to the bathroom, opening the door, "Was it that bad?"

"Yes, he would not stop talking about his weekend plans!" Scott groaned, "I-I don't want to be rude, but, um, I don't wanna hear an extremely detailed plan about how he is going to clean his house and go shopping."

You laughed, yelling over the closed door as you changed clothes, "Well, what do you expect from Silly Tim?"

That earned another groan from your fiancé, and you couldn't help but laugh. He jokingly called back out, "Never say those two words again, please!"

You responded in a faux-innocent voice, "Why, I'd never say Silly Tim!"

You and Scott bursted out in laughter. You walked out of the bathroom, wiping a tear from your eye, you were laughing so hard. "Alright," You attempted in a more serious tone, but were overwhelmed with laughter again. You grabbed Scott's hand, pulling him up from the chair, still laughing. You pulled him into a hug and began with a more successful serious voice, "Alright, let's head home."

Scott pulled out of the hug and opened the door for you, "Good idea, I don't want to be here any longer."

"Me neither," You agreed. You took his hand as you walked to the restaurant's entrance, not paying any attention to Circus Baby as you passed her. You already know that she's still staring at you, you just don't want to see her do that again. You began as you both exited the building and entered the car, "I'm excited to move in with you tomorrow."

"I am, too, honey," Scott smiled at you as he put on his seatbelt.

"I was thinking," You turned to him and gave him a saucy wink, "That maybe we can celebrate it tonight."

Your fiancé flushed bright red, stammering, "I-I'd, um, like that, uh, a lot, (Y/N)."

You grinned. You'll never get tired of teasing him. You started the engine, backing out of the parking space, "Let's rock and roll then."

(A/N): Hey! Sorry I skipped updating last week again. Life got really busy, but hopefully I can try to stay on schedule from now on.
