"Aether, we just need one more fish, it's not that hard."

"It is!! how about you take the fishing pole for once?!!?!?"

"How about you throw out the pole altogether, and grab the fish with your bare hands!!"

"FINE."

"no wait- that fishing pole was hard to make."

After the whole 'falling out of the sky, and crash landing into a beach' event, Aether and I sort of just stuck together.

I think the main reason was that Aether didn't know a single thing about Teyvat, which surprised me immensely.

After our nice little sit down with radish veggie soup, I lent him a few of my books, which had information on various things of the world. However I didn't have any books on Teyvats history, so I explained the basics to him from the top of my head, from the Archons to a few cities and nations.

It took a bit, but after a while, he opened up to me about his story. How his sister was taken by an unknown god, and how he's an outlander. 'tough.'

It's been about 1 whole month since we met, and currently, we were in a bit of a predicament.

"Just nab the fish with the sword I gave you, use it like a spear!!"

"what!?!? no! it's thrashing around too much!"

"oh my archons Aether, I swear, I'm going to go over there and-"

The end of the fishing pole started to get more violent, as it moved side to side. Suddenly out came- IS THAT A CHILD!?!?!

I quickly dashed to where Aether stood, and he too was awestruck at the child he had just brought up from the lake.

"WHAT THE- WHAT IS THAT!?!?"

"ITS A CHILD AETHER. YOU JUST PULLED IN A DAMN CHILD. REEL HER IN!!!"

As Aether reeled in the small girl, I moved into the lake to get to her sooner. I gently picked up the girl and brought her out of the water, towards the small campsite I had made, Aether following close behind.

I took a closer look at the child and noticed her clothing and features. She had a white and rose gold themed outfit, which looked very cute may I add. She had beautiful snow-white hair and a dark star like hairpin that rested on her head. She looked extremely dizzy, and a bit blue.

Working quickly, I began to press down on her chest. I was afraid she may have drowned, so I proceeded to perform CPR. She began to cough up the water

"ARE YOU CHOKING!?!? ARE YOU CHOKING!?"

"Uh, (y/n) I think she's gonna be fine. You should sit her up..."

I followed Aether's request and sat the girl upright.

The little girl began to rub her chin to clean herself as she sputtered out the remaining liquid in her lungs.

"Yuugh, that wasn't fun, Paimon thanks you so much for helping her"

'Did this child refer to herself in the 3rd person? oh no, that was so cute.'

"Are you sure your alright?" i asked in a motherly and caring tone. I swear i saw Aether have a seizure in the background.

"yep yep! hey? may paimon have your names?"
