The next day, I went back to his house.

We started our day by going to the carnival in town.

I got some fresh cotton candy.

"Do you want some?" I asked him.

"No, I don't eat that trash," he said, "I'm in the mood for some cheese."

"They have nachos, but that's as good as it gets," I said.

"Why don't we go to that cheese shop downtown," he suggested.

"Okay, sure," I said.

We got in his car and drove downtown.

We went inside the place and started sampling the various cheeses.

"So which one are you going to buy?" I asked.

"None," he said, "I just wanted to satisfy my craving."

We left and went back to his place.

I turned on a horror movie while he was in the kitchen.

He joined me on the couch with a couple cans of beer. He handed me one of them. I took it and started drinking it.

"So what movie are we watching?" he asked.

"Some scary movie I found on Netflix," I said.

He didn't say anything, just watched the screen.

I woke up the next morning and realize I had fallen asleep. I quickly texted my mom some lie and then freshened up a bit.

"Let's go to the zoo today," he suggested.

"I'd love that," I said.

We got ready and went to the zoo to look at all the animals.

"It would be nice to have a pet at home," he said.

"We should get one," I said.

"We can take a look around after this," he said.

I got really excited all of a sudden, I've always wanted a pet!

We went into the reptile house.

"How about a lizard?" I asked.

"Yeah, no way," he said.

I frowned.

After the zoo, we stopped by the cute cat cafe downtown.

When we walked inside, we were greeted with tons of cats.

We went up to the counter to order some pastries and some tea while we sat down and petted all the cats.

"I like this one," I said, holding a cute black kitten.

"I like it too," he said, "let's adopt him."

He went up to get all the adoption paperwork while I thought of a name for our new boy.

"He looks like a Salem," I said.

He shrugged, "okay."

After that, we went to the petstore to get some basic necessities such as toys, a litter box, litter, food, treats, a cat tree, and a scratching post.

We took the kitten back to his house and played with him for the rest of the night.
