Backstory: Yuzuki is the only child of two wealthy business people until her sister was born, they always work over seas leaving Yuzuki with a caretaker who didn't care for her at all. When they were home she would try to get their attention but it was like she didn't exist. She then devoted herself to studying to get their attention and to be acknowledged which didn't work. One day in middle school she found volleyball and got the attention that she didn't know she craved there but it still wasn't the same. By the end of middle school she had given up trying to get her parents attention so decided to try and fit in with her classmates by changing her looks which wasn't successful because of her grades

• Yuzuki suffers from depression but it wasn't diagnosed until she was an adult.
• Yuzu has never been able to get friends, she used to always study all of the time but in the end of middle school she decided to try and fit in with the girls but she couldn't because her scores were one of the highest.
• Yuzuki has a habit of watching what she finds interesting too much, which in this state was volleyball. This made Atsumu think that she likes him since he is good at volleyball. He then became seriously overprotective of her. Yuzuki also watches Kita all of the time for a completely different reason.
