I see Tony standing among the Avengers. I use my strength to break the glass and my flight to, well, fly down to him.
"What, what are you doing here Rae?! Go home now! It isn't safe! Loki is going to destroy New York! Go! Get out of here!" Tony says as soon as he sees me. He starts shoving me backwards while watching the split sky. Loki? I've heard that name somewhere before......
"Loki? I've heard that name before but I can't seem to place it." I say confused.
"Loki. He's my brother. I tried to stop him but he won't listen. He wants the throne of Asguard and all of the nine realms to bow to him. Starting with Earth." Thor says, turning to me.
"Who are you? Who is this Tony?" Hawkeye asks. I used to have a crush on him. I don't anymore but meeting him for the first time still makes me blush. Oh I've seen him around because of Tony, but he never saw me. I quickly got over him after I met Shane. I don't like anyone now after the jerk cheated on me.
"This is my little sister, Rae. Now can we please focus back on the falling sky?" Tony asks desperately.
"Tony, you know I've always wanted to be a part of the Avengers. Now is my chance. Let me stay. Let me prove myself to Nick." I say. Tony shakes his head.
"No. Go somewhere safe." He says.
"You have a sister?" Captain America asks.
"The more important question is, how does she know about us?" Hawkeye asks, lifts an eyebrow at Toby and looks between the both of us.
"She has, ways." Toby says defeated.
"What kind of ways?" Thor asks.
"Telepathic ways." I say.
"What can you do with your, telepathy?" Thor asks.
"I can read minds, make holograms of myself, send messages through the mind and receive although no one has sent me anything yet. But I love playing with others minds to see how they react." I say. Thor mutters something under his breath that sounds like Loki but I can't be sure.
"So, you read Tonys mind to find out about us?" Hawkeye asks.
"Precisely." I say. Again with Thors muttering. If he's going to say something he might as well say it because I can read his mind. So I do. He thinks I act like his brother Loki. Using telepathy gives the mind a warm sensation. Not enough to notice it unless you already know it exists though. How do I act like Loki? I'm not exactly destroying New York.
"If you can capture Loki, you can be on our team." Black Widow says sarcastically. But I take her seriously. If I can capture Loki and bring him to them, they can't possibly deny me a job. If they don't I will simply destroy the Avengers. Thousands of Avengers fans overflowing their base. Woah, maybe I am like Loki.
"Ok alright fine. I'll go." I say mysteriously with my hands up before quickly flying back up to my apartment. I start pacing to figure out how I'm going to catch Loki. I hear rockets right outside my smashed window but ignore it. It's just Tony. He doesn't want me on the team because he thinks I'm going to get hurt.
"Tony, I'll be fine. I'm stronger than you think. Physically and emotionally." I say, still pacing and not looking at him.
"Yeah but, the others, they don't like the idea." He says. He's in a hurry to get down there to help. Wow, for once my brother is caring for someone other than himself. "Go. They need you more than I do. Just, go." I telepathically tell him. I look at him with stern eyes. He nods and quickly flies down there. I can control all my powers. I don't jut automatically read everyone's mind. Only if I want to. That would creep me out a little bit if I automatically read everyone's mind. I start packing away things that I will need to get out of here. My bathroom things, clothes, a pair of shoes, and money. That's just in case I don't end up capturing Loki and my apartment building is destroyed. Of course I'll stay until everyone is safe. If I can prevent a death of one person, I'll do whatever it takes. I guess Loki and I aren't exactly the same because instead of killing the inevitable thousands, I would save them. I look out my window while eating an apple and by now the aliens have invaded the streets. My brother and the Avengers are gone. There are people running away and being killed. I drop the half eaten apple on the floor. I get ready to fly down there to help, my body surging with super strength. The building shakes violently and just before I fall over I see this mechanical ship, worm thing tearing into the other side of the building. I stand up and the floor starts to tilt. That, thing, is going to topple this building over. All those people, dead. Unless I have something to do with it. I start running towards the thing and just as I'm about to enter the living room to burst through the wall and destroy the thing, a man crashes through the wall. He had a golden horned helmet on with green, black, clothing on mixed with gold armor. Plus a green cape. I can't see his face and I don't really want to read his mind. But I immediately know who it is. Loki. The one responsible for this.
"Loki." I practically growl. He picks his head up and looks at me. OH MY FREAKING GOSH!!!!! HES FREAKING HOT!!!!!! Wait, no he's not! He caused this! Pull yourself together Rae! I mentally slap myself. He has black hair, green eyes, and the hottest face I have ever seen! Nevertheless, I hate him. He has some scratches on his face. Not so immortal are ya Norse god?
"Yes, what do want mortal?!" He asks in the harshest voice I have ever heard. Yet still sophisticated because he has a British accent.
"What the heck is this?!" I yell at him and gesture basically everywhere. I'm trying extremely hard not to punch his beautiful face with as much force as I've got. I can barely control my anger.
"Control your anger! You are talking to a god!" He says like I'm inferior. I certainly am not! That's it. I've lost it. I punch him, hard, in his chest and he flies through the wall, the most surprised look on his face. It would be funny, if he wasn't destroying New York that is. He gets up in the room over and elks through the hole in the wall, still surprised. Then angry. Furious even.
"You, you are just a mortal! You cannot touch me! I am a god! How did you do that?!" He demands before coming at me with a roundhouse kick. Which I easily dodge. "Because I'm awesome. That's why." I send him. He gets a confused face, then gives me the sexiest smirk I've ever seen. Why do you have I be so cute yet so evil? I mentally whine. I come back at him with another punch. This time at his beautiful face. He catches my hand and pulls me close enough for our breath to mix, much to my distress. "So, you are telepathic as well?" He asks, telepathically. Ok, that's kinda scary. I've never received a telepathic message before. "Ya think wise guy?!" I growl at him. He makes a pained face. "Ooh, wrong choice of words princess." He says.
"Wanna bet?" I ask mischievously and give him an evil smirk. I use our hands as an advantage and pull him up and over my shoulder in the air and slam him down on the hardwood floor of the kitchen with a lot of force. I straddle his back and lock his arm behind his back in such a way as so if he tries to get away I could snap it like a toothpick.
"How did you do that?! You are just human! I am a god! You are a human! You cannot touch me! How did you do that?! You're just a girl!" He practically shouts, extremely confused. His face shows it too.
"Wrong choice of words, princess." I say and tweak his arm a little to cause him pain. He winces and let's out a little groan. I'm tempted to smile at his disposition. It's funny how the Avengers can't stop the invasion of New York yet Tony Starks little sister can take down the man who started it all without even a scratch. "Tony? I need help. Loki is in my apartment and I've got him pinned down but I don't know how long I can hold him." I send to Tony. He should be here any minute with reinforcements to help because frankly from this point I don't know what to do. And it's kind if awkward. I mean, try beating up a guy and then straddling his back with his arm in yours twisted behind his back and you have to sit thee like that for a few minutes until help comes. No, I don't exactly have spare handcuffs laying randomly around my house. Sue me.
"For a girl I have to admit, you fight well." Loki says in a very flirty way.
"Flirting will get you no where Loki." I say seriously.
"Well, it was worth a shot." He says defeatedly.
"If you are telepathic, like me, can't you read my mind? If you could read my mind you would know that attempting to escape in any manor is pointless" I ask, all of a sudden curious.
"Yes, I can read minds. But only if the person is willingly letting me into their mind. You aren't letting me in your mind." He says like I'm stupid.
"Obviously. Why would I want you in my head?" I say rudely.
"I don't know. Why am I even talking to you? You may be superhuman but you're still a stupid mortal human." He says ignorantly.
"I don't know. And my species is just as important as yours. Oh, yeah sure, my species may only live for about 80 years and yours thousands. It doesn't matter the age. It matters how you live your life. Some may live more in 20 years than others do in 80. So far, you aren't doing a very good job. And I would shut up because I have the capabilities to snap your whole body in half like a toothpick. You know why I'm not? Because you have to answer for your crimes." I say and with that I tweak his arm a bit further getting another pained groan out of him bye may be hot but that means nothing when it comes to killing innocent lives. I may be mischievous and a bit of a trickster and a troublemaker, but I'm not just down right evil like Loki. I hear the building creak and know it's about to fall over, although I saw Hulk take the worm thing down, the building is still falling. I pick Loki up by his arm like a rag doll and fly through the roof and into the sky. Loki is hanging from my hand like he's an oversized ragdoll, and with my super strength kicking in now, he feels like a rag doll. He just hangs there, defeated. The building starts falling down. Oh how bad I want to help all those people in there but if I let Loki go, more damage may be inflicted than what he has already caused. "Tony, the building fell down. I'm hovering from the sky, Loki hanging from my arm." I report to Tony. In the distance I can see his red and gold suit along with Thor flying towards me. Thor gets here first, obviously. Flight by mer-mer hammer is faster than rocket jets. Seriously, it's true. We fly down to the street where I hand Loki over to Thor and he proceeds to hold Loki back with extreme force.
"How did you do this?" Thor asks.
"Do what? Capture Loki? It was easy really. I just punched him in the chest, which sent him flying through the wall into the next apartment, then proceeded to flip him over my head and slam him onto the floor. From there I straddled his back and held his arm behind his back in such a way as to if he tried to escape, I would simply break it." I say. Thor gives me a look of approval.
"You, captured, Loki?!" Tony asks me.
"Yes." I say victoriously.
"But, but, how?!" Tony asks, looking shocked between Loki and I. Loki has this "what the heck dude?!" face on. One eyebrow raised, the whole deal. It's kinda cute. I said kinda. I let out an exasperated sigh
"I-" Thor cuts me off.
"She beat my brother up." Thor says like it's the best thing he's ever heard. A human girl beating up his notorious brother. I would be amused as well though. Tony looks at me, then back at Loki.
"But, how?" He asks.
"I have super strength, remember?" I ask him sarcastically then punch him in the shoulder hard enough to knock him over. He falls over hard, a little harder than I intended. His suit leaves a metallic clang in the concrete and Loki tries to suppress a laugh despite his circumstances.
"Ow Rae!" Tony says and struggles to stand back up. All three of us start laughing. Loki and I suddenly lock eyes and he gives me this mysterious look that I can't decipher. I try reading his mind but he blocked me out. I give him a "what?" face and then proceed laughing at Tonys failed attempt to stand up. I finally pick him up after we had our share of laughter.
"Sorry Tony." I say still recovering from laughing.
"Hey, kid. I was kidding about the whole Loki thing, but you did prove yourself you could handle yourself. We'll take you to Nick, see what he says." Black Widow says.
"I know. I just figured that if I captured him, you couldn't at least deny me an offer of a job. And if not, let's jut say I know a few people who are fans of you guys and I happen to know where and what your base is." I say casually. Widow rolls her eyes and Tony gives me this stern look. Thor looks skeptical and keeps looking between Loki and I. Hulk just looks angry at everything. Hawkeye looks annoyed. Captain America, well I can't see his face. And then there's Loki, who is smirking at me. Okay, I have to admit, Loki may be a villain, but he's hot. For a villain.
