Isaac was finishing up cleaning my cut then I was going for a CT, because we were both pretty sure I had a concussion. I could hear the panic still moving around. The receptionist was shot in the chest, they were working on her on trauma before going up to surgery, and to top it all of April was missing.

"Another day at Chicago Med." He said

"This is not normal."

"Please we just got this place fixed up from the bombing now this?" he said I was about to respond when the curtain opened. It was Antonio

"Alayna thank God." He said taking my hand

"Hey are you guys on this?"

"The whole force is on this. Are you ok?" he asked looking at my head

"I'm fine, I hit my head going for cover." I said as Isaac put a bandage on my head rather hard

"Ow!"

"Jesus did you have to slam it on her head?!"

"Antonio,"

"I'm a doctor I think I know what I'm doing, shouldn't you be out there finding out who shot up the ER!"

"Can you both shut up!" I snapped holding my head

"We need to get you to CT." He said and I sat up and I felt the room spin

"I'll go get you a wheelchair." Antonio said and I nodded

"So, is that why you rejected me?"

"Isaac I am not in the mood, what are you talking about?"

"You and the cop?"

"Aren't you dating Dr. Pimple popper? Why do you care?"

"I don't." He said then Antonio came back

"I'll come back when the CT results are back." He said then left me alone with Antonio

I got my CT and Antonio took me back to the exam bed where Voight and Erin were waiting

"I heard you were in the center of the action again. You trying out for the CPD?" Voight said

"Oh yeah I want that spot in intelligence." I said and Antonio rolled his eyes

"I can tell by the jokes, you're feeling better."

"I'll feel much better if I get some pain meds." I said and they laughed

"I'll go find someone." Erin said

"Isaac Walsh is supposed to be taking care of me." I told her and she nodded

Erin came back with Isaac about ten minutes later

"Any word on the cop?" I asked

"Harris is still in surgery, but you do have a concussion. Banfield told me to send you home, I'll get some pain meds and you can't be alone for the first 24 hours. So, I can keep you here or you can have someone stay with you."

"She can stay with me." Antonio spoke up

"I can do what?"

"It's just 24 hours."

"It's just I don't like you right now."

"Come on I got three extra rooms, you can rest and I'll feel better knowing that you're ok."

"You'll feel better? You can check me into the hospital." I said looking at Isaac

"Alayna."

"Antonio." I said using the same tone

"Don't you have to work?' I snapped

"We were actually wrapping up when we got this call. Antonio can take you home and we'll finish up here." Voight said and I gave him a dirty look but it didn't phase him at all.

"Ugh fine. Only because I really don't want to stay here." I said

We got to Antonio's house, he showed me where I was sleeping then gave me an old CPD t shirt to sleep in

"I'm sure you want to take a shower." He said handing me a towel

"Thank you."

"Anytime." He said and left me alone

I took a nice warm shower but not to long because I was still feeling a little dizzy after I got out the shower changed into the shirt that stopped just above my knees, then I walked back to the room I was staying in

"Hey foods here!" He called up

"I'm coming."

I walked downstairs and found him in the living room in front of the T.V with a box of pizza, he looked up at me and smirked

'You look good in my shirt."

"Don't push it pretty boy." I said sitting next to him on the couch

"Ew, I don't want to watch the Bears."

"Don't disrespect the Bears."

"Your offensive line is the worst." I said and he gave me a shocked look

"You're from Detroit, and you're going to talk about our football team?"

"Please you guys are in the running for worst in the league."

"0-16." Was all his said then drunk his beer, I stared at him and he looked at me then we laughed, and I grabbed a piece of pizza.

They got comfortable on the couch as the night went on Alayna's pain killers started to kick in and Antonio started to feel a little buzz from his beers. Alayna ended up dosing off on the couch, Antonio wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to his chest, then wrapped the throw blanket over them. This was the closest they've been together since the night they slept together. He just wanted to enjoy the time he's has before she wakes up angry at him again. So he lays back with her head on his chest and quickly falls asleep.

When the green car across the street sees the T.V light goes out, the engine turns on and the car pulls away.
