My mom went with Alayna's parents to get some coffee so I was sitting with my girl. I was answering a text from Eva there was a knock at the door, I looked up it was Laura I rolled my eyes.

"Laura I really cannot deal with-" I started but she cut me off

"I'm not here to fight," She said then she held out the flowers she was holding

"Eva and Diego picked these out on their way to school I told them I would drop them off."

"Thanks." I said taking them and sitting them on the table

"How is she doing?"

"We're just waiting for her to wake up."

"That's good, listen I got the kids until you're ready, no strings I promise."

"I appreciate that but my mom is going to take them on my days, and went Alayna wakes up I want to bring them down here.so they can meet their new brother."

"That's fair." She said then her phone rang

"I got to go." She said then turned to leave as my mom, Gaby, and Alayna's parents came back

"Um hi Camila, Gaby I was just leaving," She said then left

"Who was that?" Ray asked I rolled my eyes, as I sat back down

"My ex-wife." I said and he made a noise then Monica elbowed him

"What did she want?" Gaby asked as she handed me some food, I just sat it on the table I wasn't hungry

'She brought those flowers from Eva and Diego."

"You have two kids?"

"Give me a break! I know Alayna told you about my kids!"

"See that my problem-"

"What's your problem!?"

"Hey stop!" Gaby said but we kept going he was saying things like I had too much baggage and I trapped Alayna

"Antonio." I froze and I turned to see Alayna blinking her eyes

"Baby!" I took her hand and kissed it

"It's too loud," she mumbled

"I know, I know I'm sorry." I said rubbing her cheek

"Oh sweetheart." Monica said taking her other hand

"When did you get here mom?"

"Daddy and I made in early this morning." She gave a small smile then closed her eyes again. Gaby came in with Maggie

"Alayna?" she said coming to her said and she opened her eyes again looking a little more alert

"Hey Maggie."

"How are you feeling honey?" she asked and Alayna gave a small smile

"Like I've been hit by a car." She chuckled

"That is not funny all things considered." Maggie said

"Tough crowd, but my head hurts."

"Yeah a skull fracture will do that."

"I'm really tired." She said and Maggie flashed her light in her eyes

"Pupils are responsive, you're coming down off a lot of anesthesia, so get some rest." She said and Alayna nodded then closed her eyes again

"Antonio, can I talk to you in the hall?" She asked and I nodded then I kissed her hand again and went into the hall with Maggie

"Does she know yet?"
