Students were spread out onto the grass in front of the school, walking home, to the bus stop, or waititng to be picked up by their parents.

Vincent caught up with me as I stepped out onto the side walk.

"Hey, little bro." He said ruffling my hair.

"You're only a year older than me." I said, smooting my hair out.

"Aww, but you'll always be my wittle baby bwo" He said a baby voice, pinching my cheek.

I chuckled, pushing his hand off of my cheek and cleaning my glasses. "Ugh."

He went to go talk to his friends. I heard footsteps behind me.

I turned around to see Simon.

I smirked. "Hey."

"Oh, hey, um, maybe we could get each other's numbers? We don't have to just talk at school, y'know."

I shrugged. "Sure." I pulled out my phone and he pulled out his. We exchanged numbers. A voice spoke behind me. It sounded like Chance's.

"Ohhh, did you guys take Quinn's advice? About time, you dummies. I mean, it only took you three years." He teased.

"Whatever, Chance. But yeah, we took their advice." I said.

"Alright." He said, chuckling.

A dark blue car pulled up behind him.

"Chance!" A woman exclaimed. That must've been his mom.

"Oh- hey mom! See you guys tomorrow!" He said, getting into the car.

"Bye!" I waved. Simon waved as well. The car drove off.
