"The nations drink? "

"Fire whiskey "

"and the national food princess? "

" roasted beef and pepper "

"Very good, now "

I sigh,

The etiquette lessons had started a week after our engagement.

According to orlan and the ministers, it was tradition, so I couldn't escape it.

The nation had taken the news quite well, throwing an entire party at the square when it was announced and I was more than alittle overwhelmed when orlan had told me.

The nation was excited, there hadn't been a royal wedding in decades.

What was really overwhelming was when everyone suddenly started calling me princess,.

It felt weird, but everytime I remembered it was because I was going to marry him, the idea didn't seem half as bad.

It's been 2 months since our engagement, the wedding was in a month, and along with the etiquette lessons, I was thrust into wedding plans.

There was a lady incharge of that, she was nice and seemed very committed to her job,

She wanted my opinion on everything and I was happy to give it, but at the end of the day everything left me exhausted.

Orlan and I don't have as much time as we used too, with my schedule blowing up all of a sudden and with him in and out of meetings, the only time we see each other is at night,

and at that point we basically pass out from exhaustion.

Still, every moment with him, every look, every touch no matter how fleeting, everything was worth it if I got to keep that forever.

I had a good handle on everything.

The woman incharge of the lessons was a woman who looked well above 40.

She wasn't exactly unkind, just very strict, and apparently, she had handled orlans etiquette lessons when he was a teenager.

"now? " I asked looking up at lady fei, she bowed

please say it's over

"now for your poise "

Wonderful

"you look exhausted " uncle says when I enter his quarters and I sigh, pouring myself a cup and drinking a mouth full before placing it back on the table, uncle raises an eyebrow in question.

"I've been to at least 5 different new commissions today, and I just got out of a meeting with the ministers, apparently everyone wants the wedding of the century " I say and uncle smiles

"Well it is the wedding of the century " he supplies unhelpfully and I glare at him

"kiara would want something small and private "

Uncles eyes soften

"I'm sure she'll understand, and besides, you can compromise " uncle tells me his idea and I blink at him

"The guests? "

"They can be at the after party, you both don't have to be there for that " uncle says waving me off

I sigh in relief

"that could work " uncle nods before smiling, eyes soft

"I'm truly happy for you nephew " he says and I furrow my eyebrows at the look in his eyes
