"Where am I?", he thought groggily as he lifted his head to look around. Then it hit him, he was at Zach's house and this was their first morning together.
Jack turned to his side, meeting Zach's gorgeous brown eyes.
Zach smiled. "Rise and shine baby"
"Good morning sunshine", Jack whispered as he pressed his lips against Zach's, "What time is it?"
Zach merely hummed as he pulled Jack closer to his body. "Probably 9 or 10", Zach replied, trailing kisses all over his face and neck, "I don't know".
Jack laid his head on Zach's chest. He could hear the other boy's heartbeat as Zach ran his fingers through Jack's curls.
"Do you have any plans today?", Jack asked softly.
Zach thought for a moment. "I don't think so sweetie- OH SHIT"
Zach jumped out of bed, startling the curly-haired boy.
"I literally forgot all about that! Wait for me, Jack, DON'T MOVE!", Zach yelled as he ran out of his room and down the stairs.
Pouting a little due to the lack of Zach's presence and warmth, Jack laid back onto bed. He pulled the covers closer to his body to replace Zach's missing warmth as he waited for him to return. Even from Zach's room, he could hear things falling and clattering. "He's such a doofus", Jack thought fondly.
Jack reached over to grab his phone that he had left on the dressing table and began scrolling though Instagram.
Moments later, Zach barged in noisily.
"Hi baby! Sorry to keep you waiting but SURPRISE!", Zach cried out.
In his hands, he held a breakfast tray. "Breakfast in bed!", he declared proudly.
"Aww thank you so much babe!", Jack cooed, "you didn't have to"
"But I wanted to", Zach replied, balancing the tray over their heads as he climbed over Jack to snuggle in bed with him.
Jack frowned a little. "I haven't brushed my teeth though".
Zach dismissed it. "You can brush them later, now open wide", he commanded, fork in hand.
Jack managed to get a good look at the breakfast tray on Zach's lap. There was a plate of waffles with chocolate drizzle on them and two glasses of milk. Jack obeyed immediately.
"Wow! This is really good, did you make it yourself?", Jack exclaimed as he munched on the waffle.
Zach looked pleased. "Yeah, I got everything ready last night so it wouldn't be a hastle to do it in the morning", he replied.
"I didn't know you could cook", Jack said as he opened his mouth for another bite of the waffle.
Zach fed him again.
"I.. I got my mum to teach me", he said bashfully, "I wanted to surprise you".
Jack could feel his heart melting.
"Aww baby", Jack leaned in to kiss Zach on the lips, "thank you so much, I really appreciate it"
Zach smiled. "It's no problem"
Jack giggled before snatching the fork from Zach's hand.
"Its my turn!", he declared, "now open wide!"
The two laughed and giggled as they fed each other breakfast before washing it all down with milk.
Zach placed the now empty tray onto the ground before flopping back to bed, into Jack's lap.
"I'm tired, I don't feel like moving", he murmured.
Jack tucked the loose strands of hair behind Zach's ear, "then we'll do nothing today".
Zach smiled. "I like doing nothing with you".
Jack leaned in for another kiss, which Zach compiled. "Me too baby"
