"I.. Just met you Marcel and in an hour you have told me things I never believed they exist," I answered and looked down.

"I understand that Davina. It's not easy to realize what happened in such a short time. But now, you need to rest." he told me and I nodded my head as I sat on the bed and slipped under the covers. Marcel headed to the door.

"Marcel?" I called and he turned around. "How can I control my powers?" I asked.

"I don't know a lot about witches but, you can start from a simple candle," he said and ponted to a small candle on the nightstandp next to the bed.

"Thank you Marcel. For everything." I said and smiled.

You are thanking the wrong person, thought Marcel but he smiled.

" Goodnight D." he said and suddenly, he disappeared in a few seconds.

How did he do that?! I wondered but then I rolled my eyes and felt stupid about what I thought. He was a vampire, duh! His senses were higher than the normal. He had the "vampire speed", super hearing and so on and so on... Wait, what was I thinking? It's sounds so stupid saying this word! Urgh, I really needed a nap...

In a few minutes, I was already already in a deep slumber.

Kol's POV:

I was wandering around the streets of New Orleans for a while now, memories flooding back. I hadn't seen this city for centuries.

While I was walking, I thought the girl I saved. Her beautiful face and soft voice were popping in my mind every now and then, the sparkles playing in the green eyes glowing her whole face.

Anyway I had to think about my plan. If I was thinking of a girl I had just met, I would already fail.
Suddenly, a girl bumped into me.

"Ouch, watch where you walking!" she gasped angrily, her big round brown eyes glaring at me.

I looked around. It was still dark and no one was around. Perfect.

I pinned the girl on the wall of a dark alley.

"Don't be so aggressive love, because you don't want to see me angry." I said and smirked.

"Man, let me go! Are you a psycho?!" she screeched, trying to free herself from my grasp.

"Maybe yes, maybe not. Who knows?" I smirked again and showed my fangs. "You won't run away or scream." I said and looked at her straight in the eyes, her pupils expanding drastically.

The next moment I had already sunk my fangs in her neck. I had a terrible day and I needed something good. Could you blame me? Warm blood straight from a vein is the best medicine for a vampire. Her body was fighting back, spasming violently. I tightened the grip around her, eventually every drip of blood in her organism was gone, her lifeless body collapsing on the ground.

"The old good habits,Kol. You never care about the consequences of your recklessness." I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"What can I say? Life has made me like this, or should I say our mother?" I snickered and wiped the blood away from my lips. "How is life going, Elijah? It's been a while." I continued and tilted my head to the side.

"Why did you come back Kol?" he asked and finally he stopped hiding in the shadows.

"I guess I just missed this place so much. This is the place where we grew up, after all. Oh and of course, I missed my brothers and sister too." I added.

"Missed?"

"Yeah you know, Klaus, you, Bekah, Finn... Or Finn has still the dagger in his heart?" I scoffed.
