Summary: Draco and Y/N were in love back when they were students at Hogwarts, but broke up because of the war. What will happen when Hogwarts hosts a 10-year reunion?

You sighed as you walked through the door of your relatively small house, relieved to finally be arriving home after a long day at work. Your boss gave you a ton of shit today. That being said, you were quite exhausted and cranky.

"Shit," you muttered under your breath, realizing that you forgot to check the mailbox. You walked back outside to your mailbox. Opening it, you saw just one letter before you took it out and your eyes scanned over the envelope. It was from... Hogwarts? You furrowed your brows before shrugging and heading back into your house, anxious to read the letter.

You sat down in one of your dining room chairs before you opened the envelope and took out the letter, finally reading it.

Dear former Hogwarts student,

          It is our great pleasure to cordially invite you and the rest of your class to Hogwarts' 10-year reunion. This will certainly be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to catch up with old friends as the Great Hall fills everyone with nostalgia. If you do wish to attend, please read the information below.

Where: Hogwarts' Great Hall
Date: Saturday, June 24
Time: 5:00 p.m.

Attendance is not mandatory. Food and drink will be offered to anyone attending. There will be no fees.

The first thing that came to your mind was your ex, Draco Malfoy. You hadn't seen him since the Battle of Hogwarts. You two had broken up during your sixth year. Draco was a death eater and he ended your relationship with the intentions of protecting you from Lord Voldemort. He didn't want you involved in any of it, too scared of you getting hurt. If that wasn't enough, you two were also on opposite sides of the war, seeing as you were part of Dumbledore's Army and Draco was a death eater.

You used to tell yourself that you two would be together in the end, after the war. You, however, had apparently thought wrong. You first met on the train to Hogwarts at the start of first year. You introduced yourselves and sat in the same compartment, conversing for the entire train ride. You were a pure-blood, so Draco didn't really have any problems with you. Plus, when saw you on the train for the first time, he thought you were really pretty.

At the sorting ceremony, Draco didn't care that you were sorted into Gryffindor. In fact, he still remained friends with you. At the end of your second year, before you both left with your parents to go home, you two shared a very short, innocent kiss (considering the fact that you were only twelve years old at the time). At the beginning of your third year, you started dating.

For the past decade, you've felt as empty as ever. Whenever you had started something with another man, you either pushed them away, or just used them for sex, which was an easy way for you to hide your emotions. There was a void in your heart that only Draco could fill. You were now determined to go to the reunion. You were hoping Draco would go. After all, he was the main reason you were going.
